The menu spans curries, noodles, seafood & rice dishes at this relaxed Thai restaurant.
The pad Thai I ordered was decent but was a little bit too saucy for my liking. But the biggest issue was the Satay- it was undercooked and when a replacement was given that was overcooked (was tough and felt like eating rubber). Maybe the other dishes are better and I was just unlucky
Best red thai curry i've ever had, I made a special request for very spicy curry, and they gladly accepted my request and didn't hold back. Simply amazing. I will be ordering again!!!! (this picture was taken in my home because i got takeout)
I also want to add that I have a big appetite and the portion size exceeded my expectations, after plating this up, i still had enough for 2 more servings!
Went for dinner. Have ordered through doordash in the past, so we knew it’d be good. The taste was good. But food was very oily and smelled like old or used oil. Had very bad stomach upset after dining here.
I was very happy to dine in person, until the after effects of the food. I really want this business to do well, since they’re family owned small mom and pop restaurant.
I really hope they focus on the quality of ingredients especially oil and eggs while cooking moving forward
Update lmao owner said to go to golden coral next time LMAO! Ew. Maybe you should run a different business if you want to serve dollar food size menus lmao food truck size bites lmao golden coral is better than this anyway lmao madam ma’am’s for the win! Everyone go there for your Thai food lmao
Ain’t no way this added to 27 dollars, what in the McDonald’s dollar menu size is this. Any other place serves larger portions than this. Would not recommend if you’re hungry. Go to madam ma’am’s instead. I wish I did and I’m still starving lol and paying an extra dollar for no ice is GROSS what a scam.
Friendly place in a strip mall and we loved the fried spring rolls. Served hot and crispy. I was not given a choice of rice upon ordering. I was fine receiving white rice but my husband was not. But that was what was given. That wasn’t a big deal though.
The big deal was that the food was prepared incorrectly which resulted in VERY watered down sauces.
All of them.
I don’t know if this was done to extend the sauce “for profit” or if they used too many frozen vegetables, which will thin down a proper sauce such as curry which should be made from a thick coconut milk, but my guess it was done to create a cheaper dish because even the thick dipping glaze (duck sauce) for the egg rolls was watery
The red curry I ordered with scallops poured on with zero richness or thickness and dank below the rice due to it being watered down so terribly so it simply should have been a soup eaten with a spoon.
My husband had the Pa Kra Pow with beef and shrimp and had the same issue.
I asked my friends their thoughts on the place in the event we had a bad night and needed to try something different, but all had similar experiences. I was told the noodle dishes were very dry so opposite issue there.
May be a long while before I give this a chance again. Watering down what should be a thick rich sauce rarely results in profits gained.
The flavor - amazing. Be ready to be humbled by the spice level, I eat takis/hot Cheetos by the handful and level 2 had me sniffling. You can tell this is legit Thai food, quality is outstanding.
Quantity - also amazing. Husband got a soup and we had to use a mixing bowl to fit it all, chicken wings are massive, and fried rice bowl was PACKED full.
This restaurant is about to know us on a first name basis 🔥
Ordered take out. When I called the store, I hardly waited. The lady who took my order was kind. When I picked it up it was ready for me and payment was easy. I ordered Vegetarian Egg Rolls, Coconut Shrimp, and Pad Thai with chicken. All tasted delicious and this is coming from someone who used to live in the Asian food mecca of San Jose, CA. Definitely will be returning!
Nice food

My girlfriend and I love ordering takeout from here, especially their pad see ew and fried rice. Every visit, we’re greeted by the same hardworking and kind lady who takes care of both the to-go orders and the dining room. If you’re craving delicious Thai food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Go ChokDee!
One greedy restaurant. The price went up, and the quantity of food went down. Quality is OK. Ambiance is average. Overall value for money is disappointing
The food wasn’t the worst. I got the pad Thai which was ok but I couldn’t eat the spring rolls, the sauce was super bland. Couldn’t put my finger on it, just didn’t taste right. Don’t think I will return.
This is easily my favorite Thai restaurant in the Austin metropolitan area. Most of the time, I order takeout by phone. The food is consistently delicious and leaves me craving more even every time. The staff, especially the kind and welcoming ladies who are often there, make the experience even better with their sweet smiles and warm service. If you’re in the area and craving amazing Thai food, I highly recommend Chokdee!
I spend $60 including tip. Pad Thai with seafood add-on, Thai Tea and the Chokdee Egg Rolls. Here is my honest review, my pad thai had 2 mussels, 3 medium sized shrimp and 1 scallop, pad thai flavor was 7/10 but the noodles were well over cooked and soggy. The amount of meat you get for ordering the seafood(they charge you extra $10) is also appalling and should be considered theft, you'll be better off ordering the chicken or beef for value. The thai tea was packed with sugar and ice, you really only get 3 good sips before hitting the ice, $6.00. The Eggrolls share no resemblance of thai eggrolls and taste frozen, for $8 you get three.
Best red thai curry i've ever had, I made a special request for very spicy curry, and they gladly accepted my request and didn't hold back. Simply amazing. I will be ordering again!!!! (this picture was taken in my home because i got takeout)

I used to love this place and I always ordered the papaya salad extra spicy with no fish sauce then one day they decided they didn’t want to make it without fish sauce anymore. The fish sauce is incredibly high in sodium and makes the dish so salty that it’s inedible. I’m not sure why the sudden change but I will forever be taking my business somewhere else. So disappointed!
EDIT: Ordered again and asked if they could either remove the fish sauce or go light on it. They removed it and it was soooo delicious! Thank you. Hope to have more experiences like this in Manor.
This is a little gem found in Manor. We tried Thai restaurants in Austin but still think this is by far the most consistent and tastiest Thai restaurant in the area. Our favorites are Pad See Ew with shrimp and Pad Thai with chicken.
Amazing pad see ew! And I LOVE the mango sticky rice.
The pad thai was delicious, and I appreciated that it had a decent amount of chicken!

Love this place. Great food and outstanding service! Been here several times and it’s been 10/10 each time.
Great Thai food. If you are accustom to the American version of "Thai Hot"...5 star...and still wanting a bit more heat, this place will have you sweating and drinking pitchers of water. It's authentically Thai-Hot if requested.
I recently dined at Chokdee Manor and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The service was absolutely horrible. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. I had to wait an excessively long time just to get a menu, and even longer to place my order.
When the meal finally arrived, I was shocked at how small the portions were. For the price they charge, I expected a much more substantial and satisfying meal. Instead, I left feeling hungry and extremely disappointed. The quality of the food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the cost.
Overall, Chokdee Manor failed to deliver on both service and value. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. Save your time and money and choose another restaurant.
Restaurants are typically named by their owners or founders. The naming process can be influenced by various factors such as the type of cuisine offered, the restaurant's location, the desired brand image, personal significance, or a unique concept the owners want to convey. In some cases, marketing professionals or branding consultants might be involved in creating a memorable and appealing name for the restaurant.
The food I got was very good and the person who served me was very nice. Highly recommend their Thai iced tea.
My favorite must-visit and go-to Thai restaurant whenever I am in Manor/Austin area. One of the most authentic menu and the best customer service. Drop by and enjoy 😉
I walked in to place a to go order and specifically asked for no mushrooms twice. Once I got home I realized there was mushrooms in my meal anyway, thank God I am not allergic because I wouldn’t have been able to eat at all. Besides the mushrooms, the cashew pad Thai was tasty but disappointed it was not prepared how I ordered.
I went into the restaurant and ordered Vegetarian Egg Rolls to make sure they we fresh. I took a bite of first one. Iced cold and super greasy. What a huge disappointment. I would not consider returning.
Awesome Thai-owned mom n pop restaurant. Great service, affordable prices, nice serving sizes. I especially love that they don’t skimp on the ingredients, for example the soups & curries have a lot of protein & veggies. The clear noodle soup is perfect if you have a stomach ache or have been feeling under the weather! My only small complaint is that I prefer my Tom kha to be less sweet & more tangy/lime flavor, but that’s a personal preference. Will keep coming back!
The red curry is super delicious! The pad thai is also super yummy. If you love spicy, Definitely recommend Chokdee. We usually order to go, and the food is always super hot and a great serving size as well. 10/10 recommend 👌
Food yummy
Wonderful service and very good boba! Restaurant is always kept clean.
Incredible soups highly recommend.
One of the best places for Thai food in Manor and even Austin area.
Friendly place in a strip mall and we loved the fried spring rolls. Served hot and crispy. I was not given a choice of rice upon ordering. I was fine receiving white rice but my husband was not. But that was what was given. That wasn’t a big deal though.

Food is fresh and delicious EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit! Very friendly service! Absolutely LOVE Chokdee!!!
Amazing food!!! We had the Yellow curry/tofu and Beef/broccoli and veg egg rolls and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It’s personally difficult to find great food in Manor but so happy we found this place 🙌🏽 Service was prompt and staff was friendly! Great music also👍🏼
Food was amazing! Authentic thai food. And the lady serving us was so warm and nice. Must try!
Maybe it’s cause we got takeout but wow this was extremely underwhelming given the quantity of great and raving reviews. Super bland, and just not great. Will not be back.
Really good fresh food. The potions were a little too big, but the spring rolls were amazing. I will definitely will be going back.
Goos
Great food and great service. And been knowing Kanika when she was in food truck on Manor rd. On the Eastside of Austin. Congratulations on your new locations. Wishes nothing but success and blessings on branching out. Spreading that great food every 😋 where. Thanking for all that yall do me and my family appreciate experience.
My favorite place in Manor!! Never disappoints!
Really top notch thai food in Manor. The pannag curry is a must.
Just what we needed..
Tasty food and always friendly!
Yeah this was amazing. Red curry was the best ive had.
It has a good atmosphere and all the nearby companies are one of the best Thai restaurants. Yummy 😋 🤤 ice tea special Thai made. Two dishes my friend has ordered flat noodles and tofy filled. Peanut sauce 🫙 too yummy mouth watering. Noodles with fried tofu too yummy. Started also roll filled with vegtables rice and tofy all we have ordered vegan only. No meat. But Thai serves all short of 🍖🥓 🦐🍤 🐥🐣 🍖🥓 etc. I recommend this restaurant
Twice now my wife and I have gone here at dinner time around 7pm and both times we waited for someone to set us or speak to us at all and nobody ever did. Even after asking an employee if they'd help us they said in a minute and we waited for 10 more minutes without them even acknowledging us.
The food might be great if we ever get to try it. We left after standing there for almost 20 minutes both times.
We have eaten here many times and it been constant, but today it was just off. We ordered for pickup and got pad thai and some curry with beef. The pad thai was clearly made hours in advance the noodles were mush and the top of the container was dried like sitting out. Please make it fresh or at least more fresh. The curry was supposed to be mild but was a 3 star easily and the beef was very firm and chewy.
Average thai food, not much flavor or spice. Madam mams or Basil thai are much better restaurants
I had ordered chu chi salmon excluding broccoli and carrot. After pickup, I see the quantity of the sauce was too low not even half of the box.Charging 21$ for a dish and not offering the proportionate quantity is pathetically stingy.I tried to go back and ask but there was nobody to answer properly, have been to much better thai food places, never coming back!
I am really happy to have a Thai place that serves so many vegan options in Manor, however I have stopped ordering because they never get my order right when I order online, the prices are too high, the servings are too small, and the quality has gone way down. On the plus side, it's fast and convenient in a town with so few veggie options.
Food was terrible. Wasnt cooked fresh. Curry entree was lacking flavor and heat. Pad pak was flavorless and did not appear stir fried. Satay must have been laying around all day, cold, tough and flavorless. Eggrolls were only thing good but even they were barely warm. Will not eat here again.

The food is OUTSTANDING, and the service is really good. A new favorite spot for me and family members
Food was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped. We tried a variety of dishes from
Pad Thai to stir fried chicken with veggies and pork buns. Everything was okay. The service was good but the restaurant was empty for dinner.
This place is underrated!! I love Thai food and i know a good Thai food when I taste it. The food is awesome especially the Beef noodle soup, I haven’t taste a really good noodle soup as this one.
We ordered chicken lo mein, beef pad pid, and Tom Kha. Everything was excellent! They serve you on real ceramic dishes, with quality stainless flatware. The tea was brewed and delicious. Service was very good, they greeted us and checked on us frequently.
We enjoyed reading the menu. As we shared our dishes with each other, we have something new to look forward to next time. We will share this positive experience with our friends and family, and definitely be returning as we highly recommend this place!
Ordered through grubhub for 1pm pick up. Was there at 115pm and food was not ready. Chef has not even started preparing the food. I had to wait for a good 15 to 20mins before I could collect it.
Chokdee Thai in Manor is always good food and good service! Since they opened I have enjoyed their food and if you like bacon and if you like fried rice then you will love their Bacon Fried Rice! Mmm Mmm Good!
Great food and service.
Covid is over, great food yet they have embraced minimal service of the covid area. Go woke go broke.
Green Thai iced tea had a fascinating flavor.
Trust the server on the spiciness level.
One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever visited. Highly recommended.
Delicious Thai cuisine. Friendly service. Nice decor.
I love this place. Best Thai food I've found yet in Austin. They have great service, great food, phenomenal egg rolls. My wife and I return regularly, especially when we don't want the chaos of downtown. Haven't had a bad dish yet, but i really liked the Pad Kee Mao. I'm glad there's never a wait, but they definitely deserve more recognition.
Tom kha is insane! Best I’ve had in Austin and surrounding areas.
Very impressed by the flavor. Lots of spicy options but authentic. The pad ped was wonderful. The pad thai was good too. Vegetables were crisp.
My six year old daughter and I have been coming here for a few years as it quickly became her favorite restaurant. The staff is friendly and kind and the meals are (large) comforting, healthy and delicious. I really enjoy watching my kid happily eat a large plate of freshly cooked vegetables. We love it here!
Best takeout restaurant in Manor. The food is excellent 8 out of 10 times. Our favorite dishes are Massaman and Yellow Curry.
Met my son here for lunch. The quantity and quality of food is phenomenal! I had the lemongrass noodles with chicken. The staff was very friendly as well. Definitely coming back!
The fried rice with pork was good, but the oil smelled like it was used to fry seafood, so it was not enjoyable.
Wonderful Thai restaurant! Husband had Pad Thai and I had the Pineapple Red Curry with chicken and extra veggies. Spice was perfect! Large servings! They can make whatever dish you’d like gluten free as well. Clean and friendly atmosphere. We will be back!
This is the 3rd time we ordered food from here, the food was good 2 times and this time we ordered pad kee mao and Basil fried rice. Pad kee mao noodles was sticked all together and fried rice has no taste except the salt. I hope this issues will be resolved . I would love to try the food here again.
Check your pick up order before you leave! Would be ok with the fact they got the order wrong if the food was good but it wasn't either, under cooked wings & patay and pad thai was more bagged salad than actual noodles and chicken.
We usually order here 2-3 a month, but service declined so will no longer be eating here. Service, quality, accuracy is not worth the price and wait.
The food is very bland. Ordered basil fried rice and couldn’t find any basil leaves. Not sure how they got 4.6 rating, not worth it.
Nos Encanto La Comida Y El Servicio De Lo Mejor, 100% Recomendado!!!
Excellent, authentic Thai food, super delicious dinner. Fresh rolls were perfect, all of our entrees, pad Thai, stir fry, fried rice, soup, all were amazing. Really fresh ingredients and flavors. Smoothies are awesome, and so was the Thai iced tea. Very delicious dinner, highly recommended.
The food was good but the serving size was a bit small compared to other restaurants. The lemongrass beef was about 1/2 lettuce and 1/2 actual noodles & beef. The beef pad-se-ew was pretty good, but the serving size could have been a bit more.
Pad Kra pow was super delicious fresh and 🤩, but their Tom yum soup was not at all good 😭
First time eating here and I loved it! Next time I'm in Manor I'll definitely stop in for a meal again! Thank you!
Excellent!!!
Nice people, food was excellent. Going back soon.
Unreasonably spicy. The Tom Yum soup was actually really good and spice was perfect. The green curry gave me a blister on the roof of my mouth (couldn't eat half of it) and I routinely eat spicy food without issue.
Was a great experience. Delicious and will definitely go back.
Love this place! Foods is always delicious and fresh. I also love that they have gluten free options and options for all sorts of food allergens. Having celiac disease, this is HUGE for me. I always get one of their curries
Great food
Burn coconut shrimp
This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Chokdee (although we haven't been there in a few months) & sadly, everything we ordered this time was really bad.
We moved out to a neighborhood just South of Manor a bit over a year ago & were excited to find we had a Thai restaurant with solid ratings just up the road, as Thai food is one of our absolute favorites - mine especially after having lived all across Thailand for about a year.
The chicken Tom Kha soup was so sweet it was almost inedible. The chicken satay had to be day old reheated chicken - it was the dryest, most tasteless, tough, filled with gristle, bad bad bad chicken I've ever had. And the peanut sauce that came with it was, again, so sweet that it was basically inedible. I ate half of one satay skewer & threw the rest sway.
The last hope I had was the Larb. This was one of my most favorite Thai dishes from my time living all over Thailand. And I've loved it everytime I used to get it at the Deedee food trailer down in South Austin. It's always been the dish I've used to evaluate how good a Thai restaurant is. I've probably had larb we'll over a hundred times & this was one of the worst attempts I've tried. Larb, when made authentically & well, is a finely minced meat salad with some large chunks of veggies on the side. Their "larb" looked like it was some attempt at a "deconstructed" dish...and plus the flavor was just not good nor did it taste like any good larb I've ever had at all. Plus the meat was fairly tough & chewy. I had 2 bites of this - took the 2nd praying the bad first bite wasn't the real experience - and sadly had to throw it all away like the chicken satay.
I'm not sure what changed at Chokdee, but I pray this was just a one-off very very bad day in the kitchen & not the new normal there.
If we ever eat there again & have a much better experience, I will gladly come back here & update my review.
Please Chokdee, you're our only Thai hope out here in/near Manor!
----------------------------------
ps - the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is due to the kind service we've always had there. if my rating was based solely on the food, it'd be 1 star.
I love their food. So flavorful, the Pad Thai is so so so good! Delicious!
Always good. Super nice staff
Food was pretty meh. We ordered spring rolls, 2 different deserts, and 2 different entrees and we were disappointed and not impressed with any of it. We really wanted to like this place and have more Thai options close, but unfortunately this isn’t it.
Made me wait over an hour after Google / chow wow indicated the order was ready and even got the order wrong. Very bad customer experience overall. Do NOT pick up here just eat there or get delivery.
I love the soup!!
Service very slow
Fast service, nice portions, cheap. Good place when you’re on the way out of Austin heading East.
Loved the chicken fried rice and Thai iced tea. Highly recommend!
Great food, great service!
Deliciosa comida saludable con muy buen sabor, un lugar muy limpio.
Food taste does not compare to most run of the mill places, it's below average. Do not order from this restaraunt on uber eats as well as they have not updated their menu and just because you order something, doesn't mean you'll get it.
Food was not the greatest it lack taste.
(I didn't have a chance to write a review before)
This place is a breath of fresh air - the staff is always courteous, even when super-busy. The food is delicious and I'm working my way through their entire menu. Takeout is painless and fast, and dine-in is a pleasant treat as well. Wish the parking lot wasn't so hard to escape from at rush-hour, but that's not their fault :-)
For my little town, it's pretty good food. If you stick with a regular dishes that have noodles or stir fry's not Uber expensive... About the going price around here
They did jack up the prices with COVID, they're old fish dishes used to be like $17.99 And now they are like 21.49. For those prices I would rather go to Pappadeaux's.
Noodles were raw and wasnt spicy. Im sure food is good but limit your online orders if you're staff can't handle dine in too, waited 45 min for a small order that wasn't cooked properly, probably bc it was rushed..
Pineapple curry and the boba here are amazing! I always get the same waitress and she’s always kind and attentive. Lovely business.
My parents ordered dinner from here the other night and they received the wrong order. My parents called the restaurant and were told they would receive a credit for next time or have their money credited back to the card. My parents chose the “store credit.” We just called to try to place another order and they told us we had to get the same food that was originally ordered, which we didn’t want, so we asked that the card be credited back. We were put on the phone with the “boss” (the original woman said “my boss”), who was extremely rude. She said they wouldn’t credit the money back and that it was our fault that we got the wrong order. The woman wouldn’t even let us talk, just kept interrupting and talking over.
Delicious food. Always hot. Price is fair.
I got the bacon and rice dish 😋 yummy... could've eaten as a side dish or topped off with shrimp or chicken...
Delicious food! They're really nice too. The patio is a great place to have dinner.
Very reasonable able to eat , very flavorful food near Manor
Love Chokdee! Always fresh :)
Service delayed as usual
Clean Thai spot in a strip mall in manor. Their Tom Yum is 4/5 stars, so I'd definitely try that. Pad Prik Khing is also prepared well and isn't all that spicy. I'm sure if you tell them "Thai Spicy", they'll knock your socks off as usual. =)
Service was courteous and very prompt.
stay was very good with a very fresh cucumber salad.
This place never disappoints on flavor. Sometimes when we order curry there isn’t enough chicken and it’s mainly just veggies but the flavor is always on point.
Good Food!! Tad expensive for their portions..
So good! Service good for 8 of us and my dog. Pleasant patio area. Price good. Would definitely go back.
Tried a new item to me from the menu and I went back for seconds! Enjoyed every bit of it. Mostly to come back every time!
Thank the heavens for Thai food and Chokdee has it!!!
I pass by this place all the time, but today I finally went in. I do not regret it! The waiter was really friendly and the food was amazing. So glad this little hidden gem is in manor, it definitely gives you a break from all the texmex surrounding us. We'll be making regular trips back here.
The food is authentic and savory! The best Pad Se-Ew I’ve had. Would definitely come back here whenever we travel from Houston to Austin
Fresh, delicious, good size portions. They'll prepare meal as you like (no spice), even on inherently spicy entrees. Very clean very polite. Try the coconut soup add Jasmine rice YUM!!
Food was tasty but expensive for the quality and portions were not filling for me.
10/10. Wonderful cuisine.
