I don't give many 5 star reviews, but this place deserves it. They may not be Michelin-starree food, but in the dozens upon dozens of Thai restaurants I have been to in the 15 years since the first time I ate here, I have yet to find a single one that equals Thai Racha! The Pad Thai is perfect. Full stop. The only warning I would give is this: if you are not POSITIVE about your spice tolerance, do not order Thai Hot. The are not messing around. I regularly eat super hot chilies, and even grow my own scorpion morugas and ghost chilies, so I am no novice. Their Thai Hot will make my hands shake. It is fantastic!

It’s tangy, coconutty, has delicious vegetables, proper spice. It’s everything this soup is supposed to taste like and more. I’ve driven over 2 hours just to have it again 🫶🫶🫶

Service was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was very relaxed. The food came out quickly. I enjoyed the Pad green bean and would recommend that dish. My daughter didn't like her pad Thai, it had an odd smell that we didn't find appetizing. I have no reference for pad Thai so I have to assume that it's just not our our thing. The green tea bubble drink was delicious. I would recommend giving this restaurant your business, you don't know if you like something until you try it.

We heard there were new owners so we decided to stop in and try it out, we weren’t disappointed!. We started with the cheese rolls, they were great. For mains I had the #32 Gang Dang and my wife had the Pad Thai, both were excellent. Everything seemed fresh and was served piping hot. We plan to return.

Best chicken pad Thai I have found in NB and the spring rolls are little bites of deliciousness! We have always gotten take out front here but they do Jane a nice clean dining room available to eat it. Great service, family run business.
.they have never botched my order and then portions are quite generous. Definitely worth it to give this mom and pop Thai restaurant a shot. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

Great service friendly staff

Waited over an hour for no food. Ordered online and arrived promptly at 40 minutes when it said it would be ready. When I arrived they couldn’t find any record of my order and even asked if I was at the wrong restaurant. I showed them my order in my email and they took my phone into the kitchen and started running orders to tables while holding my phone. Not sanitary to say the least.

Then I was told they need to make the order and to wait another 10 or 15 minutes. At 10 minutes I asked where the food was at and they said they needed even more time!

I asked for a refund but they insist my food is being put into boxes. I asked for a refund anyway and received a cash refund. It took one hour for them to make two dishes, green curry and pad Thai. It does not take an hour to make such an order and it was disappointing that our order was maybe lost.

I waited an hour and received no food whatsoever, not even an apology. Do not waste your time here, there is a better Asian restaurant near the HEB by Buccees. It’s rated higher and has much better service. We went there and had food within 15 minutes, and great service. Not sure why this place is so bad.

Worst food ever. I’m not sure how this restaurant received 4 stars. I got the pineapple fried shipped and it was a sorry excuse for food.

I ordered the panang (red) curry and the massaman (yellow) curry with tofu to go.

Overall the curries were not great. The red curry was only peppers and hardly any curry and a very small container of it. The yellow curry was extremely watery and full of oil. Usually Thai curries are a little thicker since they are made of coconut milk. Not these. And I asked for “hot” spice level and these were more of a mild to medium.

Won’t be returning. There are a lot of other Thai restaurants that have far better tasting curries.

Pretty good, the curry was perfect dang good but the Mongolian beef was good but not great. I'll absolutely get a curry next time.

The service is quite friendly. And they are eager to accommodate various dietary preferences. For example, you can inform them you are vegan or gluten-free, and they can usually find something appropriate.

My go to place for some Pad Thai. I love the pad Thai and cheese rolls (think cheese Rangoons) I haven't eaten much else off the menu, but my dad liked it a lot, he wanted to go back 4 days in a row when we 1st discovered it. I get my pad Thai made "hot".... Spices it up pretty good.... I went "hot hot" once.... Learned my lesson.... WAY too hot for me ! Family owned and operated by some really sweet and kind folks. I'll definitely be back for more !

Authentic Thai dishes made perfectly. Wonderful soup and great lunch special. All the folks here very friendly and our waitress Sarawadi was extra pleasant. One of our go-to places for lunch.

We've eaten Thai food thousands of times (my husband's favorite food)and ordered over what we; 3 people could handle...cuz we love to bring home leftovers. Unfortunately, their noodles such Pad thai chicken, pad-see-u beef were horrible. I am sorry, but this is the truth. Including their curry chicken was a disgrace to the Thai kitchen community. I just hope that the owner will improve and catch up with other thai restaurants around her and listen to my critics.
Their fried short pork ribs and satay chicken were good, though. And of course, the thai tea. Peace to y'all.

I have been here many times over the years but had not been in about a year or two when I was leaving this evening I noticed the sign said under new ownership, I thought great but the food is just as good as always has been. Seems like everything the same except they have a few dishes that are more like Chinese as well and the one big one is they have a lot of kid meal options, which I was happy about. Seems the new staff is also very friendly at least the cashier/server was. I would say all in all still pretty good place definitely one of best to get pad thai and chicken rice soup at in new braunfels and surrounding area. BTW you have to try the cheese rolls best ever.

I love Thai racha! Do your self a favor and get an iced Thai Tea, steamed dumplings, and Tom gha! Drool worthy! Get 2 Thai teas! Yum!

Can't really tell for outside but this place has amazing Thai food. The ladiworking in there were super friendly and funny. I like spicy food and when I ordered my pad Thai Thai hot she made sure to confirm I knew it was hot. When they brought the food out I could sense the hesitation with put a hot dish in front of me. I have to admit this was hot but delicious. I like to sweat a little while I eat and this made my nose run a little. Exactly what I was looking for.
We will be back for more Thai hot dishes.

The Thai food we ordered was so bland. I was honestly expecting base level Thai since its new Braunfels but this was so bad. The panang was so watered down and flavorless. The pad Thai was also lacking any taste at all. But the yum nuah was the worst..the meat was boiled and tough to chew. However, I can say the spring rolls were good. Sadly, that’s it though.

This is my go to place for authentic Thai food. Most authentic Chinese me in New Braunfels that I found so far. The owners are really friendly and staff are great. Service is great. There’s parking lot in front so easy access. They do close for 2 hours for their own personal lunch so make sure you check before you go. I don’t recall but I think it’s something like 2-5pm or something like that. I love this little, hole in the wall, small business restaurant. It’s my go to when I’m craving good Thai or Lao food.

This is just like grandma’s cooking. The food is authentic and the staff is friendly. I had Thai style papaya salad, pad see ew, fried short ribs, duck with basil and sticky rice. I forgot to take a picture before eating but after a few bites I managed to remember to take a picture.

I ordered the beef Pad Woon Sen. It came out with more flavor than any other Thai restaurant I've been to. I was given the option to make it spicy. Great choice! Tried it a year or so when I first moved to New Braunfels and wasn't that impressed, but being Thai, I crave Thai food all the time. Came in today and heard they had a new owner. Have to say, MUCH better. The chicken Laab is fantastic, sticky rice with mango much better. Reminds me of my grandma's! THAT good! Glad to have a good Thai place in NB finally. Will definitely come in more.

My husband and I came here for lunch and we got lucky! the place is clean and quaint but comfortable. I ordered chicken in red curry, fried egplant, tom yum soup and my husband ordered a spicy dish. The food is very delicious. You can tell by the flavor and richness of the food that it was cooked with love. There was awareness in the process of cooking the food. We ate every bite of it and we are certainly coming back. There was only one server but she was very attentive, friendly, and just very good at what she does. We didn’t even have to wait long for the food to be served and still the food tasted delicious. I will certainly come back here again and I highly recommend this place.

Dined in today for my mother birthday lunch, ordered a chicken pho and a few other things. Pho tasted strange throughout eating almost like rotten meat, I eventually found a raw old piece of chicken in my meal and was able to get a refund. This saddens me because we have been customers for almost 8 years now, but raw meat is where I draw the line.
