First time going, got egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, chicken fried rice and combination fried rice. Soups are good and the fried rice tastes great, good size meat pieces. Hoping they’ll be consistent in the future, this location is convenient.

Definitely better than any other chinese restaurant we have had in the area. The mongolian beef was tender and flavorful. The sesame chicken was not as crispy as we like but it could be because we ordered takeout and it was steaming in the container. Enjoyed the food very much and will definitely be back to try other dishes.

I order pad Thai and asked for not spicy (I didn't want heartburn) then i order happy family Mongolian beef, beef lo mien. When i hot home nothing had flavor and everything had no kick to it. Then each entree had barely any meat and only noodles.

The Tai San Chef team consistently makes great food. The service for the dining out experience is quick and efficient.

Food quality has gone down hill since they switched to carryout only. This time they didn't even bother to label our food to know which is which. Prices go up but quality goes down.

Crab Rangoon is a fav of mine….always included in my order.
Today 5/25 was a huge disappointment….didn’t taste any crab, was cream cheese that I tasted and much smaller portion of that.
Won’t be ordering it again !

I haven't had Hunan Beef in quite some time and this really hit the spot. It was a perfect balance of beef and vegetables. The spice was perfect enough for the that's spicy reaction.

Ordered through DoorDash, otherwise I would’ve sent this food back to the kitchen and walked out. The Pad Thai tasted sour and off. The Pad Se Ewe had noodles in it that were fried to a crisp and inedible, very little meat, and one small piece of broccoli. It tasted nothing like it tastes in the other Thai restaurants I‘be been to over the years. We ordered a Thai coffee, and it was nothing but strong, horrible coffee. They did not put any sweet milk in it at all. None of us could eat much of the meal; a total waste of money.

My family and I only order food from this Asian restaurant for many years. The other night I ordered the wrong noodle dinner and the owner had no problem accommodating my dinner! I ordered thai noodles when I really wanted lo mein. He got me what I really wanted with no questioned asked. Fantastic food and owners. They care about their customers. The best in the area.

I ate the chicken curry and my dad ordered the walnut chicken i think that's what it's called the next day comes and i feel weird and that was the only thing I ate for the whole day I wake up feel weird and i get a pulsing pain in my stomach and then i go to work then it starts getting worse turns out i got food poisoning. I don't recommend this restaurant we use to love it here now we don't again i don't recommend this restaurant

They're the BEST Asian in the area! The hot mustard is uniquely flavorful, and I made a special trip from SOUTHERN INDIANA just to have some again! Their food is always hot and fresh, and lots of it. I'm so glad the owners are still operating in spite of the Pandemic---we need to keep supporting our local businesses!!

Great basil rice and egg rolls!

My most highly ordered dish is vegan Thai curry fried rice + Add fried tofu. It tastes good. But the only drawback is that I can't rely on consistency. Sometimes they add all stir fry vegetables.sometimes just peas n carrot. Sometimes rice is sticky. Other times it's really nice n fluffy. Sometimes tofu is really deep fried.Sometimes it is just sauteed.

Pls maintain consistency.

Service was OK and prices are good for portions. Ordered spicy panaang curry and it was bland with a little bit of heat. Good amount of meat and vegetables but absolutely no panaang or Curry flavor.

Last time we got delivery, it wasn’t good. Cold food, extremely long wait time, and tasted terrible. However, the manager made good and gave a full refund. This time the food was spot on. Hot and delicious. These folks have integrity. Everyone misses occasionally, but I know they’ll make good on it if they need be.

Not sure what the egg rolls were made of last night, but they were inedible. The sesame chicken I ordered had about 3 sesame seeds in it and was covered in sauce from what I thought was for orange chicken.

Never had a problem with this place so I was surprised to almost have eaten what looks like a metal scrub brush or Brillo pad in my Chicken dish... glad I chew my food and didn’t swallow it.

I have been looking for a local Thai restaurant for a while. I've found a few but none that had the service and quality of Taisan. I will be back for sure.

Don't order the curry at this place. I am not a very critical eater, but the food here is the worst I have ever eaten. The curry I ordered here didn't look like curry and it definitely didn't taste like curry. I had to throw the food away something I have never done in my life and made me very mad.

I usually go here for the pad thai but lately been disappointed. The egg drop soup is plain. They add corn to make it tasty. The dinner portions is supposed to have more but it's just like the lunch specials. The chicken fried rice that they give you a also just plain. Will not be going there again.

Really good pad see ew, if that was all I was reviewing it would be 5 stars. Literally the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The other stuff was decent. We ordered some sesame chicken which was ok and some string beans and miso soup, all pretty good. It’s an interesting place in that it offers Chinese Japanese and Thai all in one place, so if you can’t decide or if you’re in a group and people want different things this is a great place to go.

Take out and smoothies are still pretty solid. Restaurant has really gone down hill. Table was dirty, bathroom was filthy with chemicals laying in the floor, and the ambiance was lacking. Prices are still fair.

Nope not authentic. Got the panang curry and it was not thai! Not sure what they served us. The crab rangoon was good and the sushi was meh. Very disappointed, I was craving Thai curry😏.

Online ordered and got to the restaurant and someone asked how much longer. They stated the online timing is always wrong. So we got there at the time it said, and waited an additional 20 minutes. Someone else called and said they forgot a soup from their order. They offered to deliver it, pick up, or credit the person's account. We finally get our food, drive home to find they left out one of our meals. Stupid us for not checking to make sure everything was there, but they had checked everything off the receipt stapled to the bag like everything was put into it. I proceeded to call and tell them they forgot one meal and they told me I could pick it up or be credited for it. So now I've already been inconvenienced by missing one of my meals, but you dont even offer to deliver it, after offering it to another customer? Stupid.

Used to be way better. Since when does Thai and Chinese food have jalapeños? Person who took phone order did not know what Tom Kha Gai was. FYI - #10 on the menu isn’t close.

When I used to live in Darien (6 years ago), this was a frequent place my mom and I would eat at. Over the years I’ve noticed the food and the service has just declined which was extremely disappointing. We went to try it again, and ordered the kung pow chicken as well as the beef and brocoli. Firstly, the chicken was chewy and didn’t taste right like we have had in the past and the beef in the other dish looked extremely unappetizing. After we attempted to eat our food it simply didn’t sit right and we suffered for days with food poisoning... I’m disgusted and will not be giving them my business ever again. I hope this helps somebody else to avoid days of throwing up and discomfort. Gross.

Going into this place I was really hoping to like it. The decor was simple and inviting. I would see bringing a friend to lunch or dinner here. This all changed once I tried the food. It wasnt bad or horrible my any means but it was disappointing. The sushi rice was muchy and lacked what any sushi rice needs. The fish left a weird after taste. The pad thai lacked any flavor and again more muchy food. Great for people who dont have any teeth. Felt as if I was eating jello. For the price I'll give them two stars.

Great place for child labor kids are just working everywhere. I just love the way the food has hair in it. A kid was cooking rice making great food that is also delivered by children. I love when they give you fortune cookies and get good food and then they start yelling because they aren't getting paid. But overall great restaurant if that's what you like.

She told me order different meet next time. when I was speaking to manager she just came interrupted me while I was talking to manager after I paid. Never coming back very very bad service

They can’t seem to figure out how to get the order correct. Last 2 visits they managed to forget key items in the order. Don’t bother with them; plenty of options out there.
