I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and have enjoyed the food every time. The interior is well decorated and very clean, the pricing is fair and the food tastes fresh.

One of the only complaints I have is that, the spice level is not consistent. For example a medium spicy green curry is decently spicy while medium spicy drunken noodles is not all that spicy.

If you're looking for a nice place to get together for a meal with friends I can highly recommend this restaurant.

The Thai ice tea is good too but used a little cup. To compare is like half can of soda. You drink less for the price. This is where they shouldn't cut corners to save cost. The drink is cheap and easy to make. This is why I took a star away. If you like Thai food then I recommend this place.

Everything was richly flavorful, rewarding in every bite, with the right textures and superb ingredients. Pictured here are the Tom Yum Fried Rice, which carried the exquisite taste of the soup with the added smokiness of the rice, and Pad See Eew, with tender shrimp and fresh and rich noodles. The food also has a beautiful presentation, from the rice pyramid to the golden translucent Thai Iced tea. We have a new favorite restaurant.

Stopped in for an afternoon lunch and loved it. Our server is so sweet and took great care of us. The food is awesome - great flavor and portions. I had the eggplant salad with medium spice and it had the perfect kick. Pad Thai and Tom Kha was also delicious and seasoned perfectly. Looking forward to visiting again!

I love their Pad Kee Mao & the Tom Yum Fried rice. I wish the fried rice came with more vegetables (it only came with some tomatoes and onions) but I don't mind adding those in myself. This is one of my favorite thai spots in Chicago!

Pad Thai was overly sweet. Larb lacked salt and flavor. Restaurant was clean. Tried it once, that's it. Not again.

The Pad Thai and other dishes are much sweeter than I am accustomed to. Their Drunken noodles and a handful of specific dishes were delicious with perfect spice levels (I can tolerate very spicy foods). I have eaten here several times and tried a variety of dishes and appatizers. Most did not fit my pallet but other people may really enjoy this style. I suggest picking your go to Thai dish and if it is to your liking you will probably enjoy everything else.

Pad Thai here is so good!! Highly recommend

We had the Pad see ew , special noodle, chicken satay, sticky rice,vegatable fried rice and egg rolls. Everything is delicious! Their mango rice dessert , thai iced tea and coffee are great too. Staff is friendly and attentive and the place is nice and clean.

Called to make a pick up order, the guy hangs up on me and doesn’t call back despite having the call back number. I call back and say we were disconnected and ask if he still has my order. He says yes, but when I ask him to read it back he is unable to do so and hangs up on me again. I call a third time and ask to speak with a manager, and he comes up with some made up excuse and hangs up a third time. Terrible service and badly need better employees on the phones.

Wanted to try a new thai place in area and found this one. So clean and so good. I loved it and will definitely be coming back.

Yesterday I ordered the pad thai to go. When I got home I noticed the noodles and sauce were compressed in a tight rectangle like a brick. It was an almost impossible task to separate the noodles from each other.The chicken, vegetables and nuts were place either on the side or top and bottom. It was a real nightmare to eat fighting to separate noodles from the big clump. To much effort in fact to finish the dish. They must purchase the thai noodles and sauce from some restaurant service. Yuk

The food and service were both great! Me and family had the chicken satay, pad Thai, and chicken fried rice. It was all amazing, and would highly recommend.

Wow. After the first sip of the roasted duck broth I was sold! It is so flavorful in a very complex and yummy way that I couldn't help but smile. I've never had duck noodle soup that tasted this good. The noodles and veggies were just right and the duck was quite good as well.

Atmosphere: very hipster looking inside with high ceilings and windows makes it a very comfortable place that I wouldn't mind to relax at even after my meal.

Service: Very friendly and attentive. They always check and refill your water. They always greet you and thank you in Thai to make it feel authentic.

I have been a regular for years. Food is some of the best Thai in the area. I stayed loyal throughout the pandemic but their prices kept increasing. Some of their entree costs are too high so I have had to dine elsewhere. Good luck to them, but I can no longer afford their foods even with a 10% off coupon.

This place does not get your orders right. We’ve ordered a few times and they’ve gotten our orders wrong and have not accommodated. Elephant Thai Is a great restaurant nearby. I advise you to check them out instead.

We received our appetizers and they were good, we then received our entrees and the chicken was under cooked we proceeded to tell the waitress our chicken was undercooked she then brought us back the same plate of food that we first had but cooked again and burned yet the chicken was still under cooked!!!
Do not order from here nor go here unless you want food poisoning!!!!

I ordered Lava Soup, one size , Large for 2 people, its a spicy seafood soup, which had 2 little mussels, 4 small pieces of squid, and 3 small shrimps. The flavor was OK, but the amount of seafood is ridiculous, especially if they are claiming it's for 2, It costs $14.31 with tax and when I called the place and talked to the manager, he said this is a right amount of seafood, it's expensive so they can't put more! How screwed up is that?! I expect more for the amount I paid, it was mostly broth with lots of onions, few pieces of mushrooms and tomatoes. Don't order, it's a rip off!! Customer Service is Horrible. he said: order something else next time!!! Rude

Really good food. Authentic Thai...fresh and delicious!

This restaurant is clean and the woman that served me was very kind. I enjoyed my Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and it was delicious. Even though I ordered it to have a medium level of spiciness it still was still making me sweat and got my nose running a little bit. I will be definitely coming back for it, but this time my level of spiciness will be mild lol.

My wife and I have been exploring our dining experiences by trying new Thai places around the city. We have our favorite place and figured why not search for a new favorite place.

Bangkok is fine. If it's in your neighborhood, it's totally a suitable place to eat. For our tastes, there was a bit too much oil used in the dishes. The flavors weren't disagreeable, but nothing stood out.

The service was good and the faces were friendly, but our search continues.

This was our first time dining with Bankok Thai. We walked into their establishment just after 10pm and ordering take out was no problem, even though they were closing at 10:30pm. They offered us water and a seat while we waited.

We had: crab rangoon, yellow curry (mild), and Kai Yang. Packaged to go, each meal got a small cup of rice on the side and this was enough for the Kai Yang. Typically when I order a curry anywhere, even eating it in-house, I use all my rice and still have curry leftover, for which I make rice at home; so if you're the same as me, or are sharing this dish, or don't have access to rice the next day for leftovers... order an extra. :)

Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is we haven't eaten in-house yet. Will update once we do! :)

My go to Thai food is Pad thai. It was very flavorful.

I ordered a bowl of tom yum noodles and a glass of Thai tea. The food was okay but the waitress is very friendly. Food was a little bit pricey.

I am Czech and love my duck. I was completely surprised by the excellent duck served at Bangkok Thai. My experience at other Thai restaurants was that the pieces of duck were small and not very meaty. The opposite was true at Bangkok Thai-large meaty pieces of duck meat, wonderfully cooked, were served in their Duck Curry.
My friends and family were not disappointed in any of the other dishes they ordered-from potstickers to vegetarian dumplings, from Tom Kha soup to Pad Thai and Pad See Eew.

This is absolutely the B E S T Thai food we've ever eaten, and we eat Thai food a lot. Their dishes are creative, beautifully presented, and soooooo yummy. Their Bangkok Thai Noodle dish is our favorite. Never busy, always easy to eat there. Great prices. We love it.

HORRIBLE customer service! My friends and I dined in and customers who came and placed their orders after us were served while we had to ask to be served everything. We waited over an hour to be served. When our soups finally came they were cold. My friend sent hers back and asked for it to be reheated. It never came back. And our main dishes also never came. They tried to charge for the soup that was returned and tried to blame the poor service on limited staff. Yet, we arrived before the venue became busy and everyone else was eating except for us. A large group came 30 minutes after us and were served the appetizers we ordered. At this point we just paid for the appetizers we did receive and left. Race was definitely and issue for this establishment. Despite the poor treatment and dine in experience we were not rude to them but they definitely need to improve their customer service and treat all customers equally. I will NEVER go back there again!

Just an OK Thai place. Less sweet than most in Chicago but still very heavy on the ketchup.
