Food has less flavor, and you might get a lot of nerves in some dishes. We pretty much just stick to the lo mein these days.

Today, I ordered the empress chicken and they gave me the exact same chicken they use for sweet and sour. I mean, it's not even "thinly sliced and lightly breaded". Worst part yet, the breading isn't even seasoned. It's so bland.

It's really sad to see its current state. I don't think we'll be ordering from them again in quite a while.

Patronized for the first time on 12/22/2024. Boy did I regret it. 😃I'm going to have to contain myself to not go back. I had been craving sushi specifically cooked, I dont eat raw fish. I found the taste I was looking for. Something that didn't taste store bought. The rolls I had were very good. I had the Las Vegas Roll it's deep fried with salmon similar to the one a chain restaurant sells but Jwoks was better. And I had the Spicy Mexican. If you love avocado, you will love these. I also ordered the vegetable fried rice. So much flavor didn't need to add soy sauce..Fresh and hot. My only con was I wish the rolls were bigger and expensive for the price. I'm happy I finally tried this place. They have daily specials too. Try them out.

I often hesitate writing critical reviews. The experiences at J Wok, however, have encouraged me to comment on the poor quality of the food and the most unkind service found at the take out venue.
For sometime, we have joyed the food, ambiance, and service at Sushi Junkie. From the folks working there, we understood that the same family or group owns J Wok. Under such an impression, we have tried ordering various types of food from J Wok.
While ordering online has been fair, once at the venue, the reception, tracking of the order, and getting the food has been consistently not pleasant. We have had a young man and women and a mid-age person tending to our various orders, including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese foods. Invariably, not very kind service.
In comparison to other Asian establishments, the packaging of the food seemed carelessly put together. The quality of the food has been consistently poor. Even a simple dish such as fried rice, which we ordered once, was not pleasant to the eye, the condiments were off, and the meet had the consistence of rubber.
Well, we thought, as we placed our last order (literally), maybe Chinese or Korean foods are not their things, despite their advertising. We should stick to what we know is good. Lets order take out sushi. Again, the assumption was that the food would be as good as what we have had Shushi Junki.
Nope, we were wrong. The picture below, depicts a 60 dollars order (seaweed salad missing). The food lacked presentation, it was packed tightly in one container, the sauce from one item shared with the other items, slivers of discolored fish... enough to say, we decided to take discard the food.
I wish I could have something positive to comment on about J Wok. I feel that the businesses need to work on respecting their customers, serving quality of food, and contributing to our community life.

Stopped by today around 440pm. Last visit about a month ago we asked for ramen with chicken broth, although not on the menu they made it no issue. Today the service was not good. We asked for the same, the waitress told us it couldn't be done. No problem, we asked for a ramen with their pork brother but just plain noodles and broth. Her response "You're going to pay for that, that's expensive". We decided to leave, I think if someone goes to a restaurant it's to pay for a meal not be judged.

Although my food was ready quickly when I went to pick it up, not all of my food was hot. Three beef fried rice was ok, however the Mongolian beef was chewy and funny tasting. The food was overpriced for what we received.

I love J Wok for the incredible variety of food they offer. Love the Korean Chap Chae. Delish. I've never been disappointed with any meal there. Service is great, along with the atmosphere.

I ordered a small chicken fried rice & one egg roll. It was over $10! This would not be a bad price if the portions weren't so tiny. Not much chicken in the rice, either.
This was my first time ordering.
I usually go to Wok N' Roll. The small chicken fried rice at Wok n Roll is a large compared to here, & the egg rolls are the normal size. Very disappointing. I know that times are tough, but make it worth our while to order here. Maybe they only care about selling sushi.
I guess I'll be going back to Wok N' Roll. It's worth the drive.

I very much recommend this place the food is fireeeeee lol aka delicious i went there and got Mongolian beef extra spicy and let me say i get that from every Chinese restaurant i go and this one took the cake .... By a landslide and also not to mention very hefty portions you definitely get your money's worth the people working there must be working magic cuz my food was ready in less then 10 min and that's that i didn't order ahead their smoothies are also delicious i recommend the coconut or limonade ones mostly cuz I've tried those lol but they have a wide selection and very clean place I'm impressed it was easy and obvious to give them the five start good job guys👏👏

I ordered the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls, both of which were well-prepared and flavorful. The combination of fresh fish and spicy mayo created a balanced and enjoyable taste. I am looking forward to exploring more of their menu in the future. Overall, it was a great experience—8/10. They also have dining.

They sold me chicken fried rice with no green onion or other vegetables in it. I asked beforehand if they could put the standard amount. They will charge you extra for what it supposed to be in the first place. The only petty Chinese restaurant in the area.

This place is super clean. People are very friendly. We love it.

Calming music. Waitress was very nice, chicken was tender and everyone at the table cleaned their plate. Will eat here again :)

I ordered large jumbo shrimp fried rice and 2 egg rolls and they charged me over 20 dollars? It’s not worth it and I only got like 6 shrimps. I also asked for spicy and nothing 🤷🏻. Not a go to spot

I found a baby roach on my shrimp in my Lo Mein. NEVER ordering from them again! DISGUSTING!!!

I used to love this place. The last two times I’ve gone the meat has had that funky taste. I think you know the one I’m talking about. Wasted money. I gave it a second chance with a different meat, same thing. Very tragic. Couldn’t finish either meal.

The Shrimp fried rice was to greasy to oily but my main concern is they sent me the wrong order instead of Shrimp and Beef I only got Shimp the reciet read Shrimp and Beef so I believe it was a order that wasn't pick up so I got left overs I stay 2 blocks from them and the food was not hot 🤨😒😬😑😝😝😝😝😝😝

Came in for sushi with my brother. Sat us down right away but waited 20 mins to place our order. Only one other couple seated. There was a dead bug on the table.
They waited until my food came out to give me my drink. Other people had sat down after us. Got their order taken right away. Got their food right away.
Of course I left no tip. Waiter had the nerve to stop us to ask us about the tip and then say I’ll remember you.

Let me just say this place is ridiculous and awful! They also discriminate and racist towards the Diaable and Latins, when they said they don’t allow latinos use there restrooms and the even them disable. This happen to a relative of mine her daughter was denied use of the restroom while she really needed it and being in a wheelchair is hard. The man said I we don’t allow disable or Latinos to use restroom. Spoken with his Chinese accent. Which was surprising! This was a place I eaten at and ordered from with there over priced costco chicken wings and and dirty water lemon tea this is how it’s made. I won’t give this place not even one! Star that’s being to kind. Unfortunately no choice in the matter when clicking the stars on google. So if you want disgusting food you can get at Costco and people telling you to take your dirty cripple child home! Well you might like this disgusting place called Jwok where a cough in your face is considered a greeting for them!

Ordered a simple sushi roll… waited 30 minutes… saw three other people who got there after me order and get their food before me. I inquired and was met with a rude attitude, telling me to just keep waiting… I demanded a refund, no apologies were given whatsoever and no one even checked on the order. Zero stars if I could. I’ve eaten here before when everything else is closed, food has always been subpar and overpriced. Do not recommend.

The food was good but they didn’t have a changing table in the bathroom for my baby so that was very inconvenient.

I have ordered from this restaurants for many years but the sushi I got today was terrible. Sushi was so saturated and saggy it was very hard to grab without it coming apart and the flavor was off. After calling the store and complaining the employee didn’t offer a solution. Last time ordering from here.

This place has great tasting food. The wife and came in on a cold winter day and the place was very toasty inside.

I have been ordering food at this restaurant for years.but yesterday was the last time I buy there. When we were going to start eating I realized that the shrimp fried rice had many meggots. How disgusting. I talked to a employee and I sent her the photos. she confirms that they are meggots, she will refund
my money. But I will never go back to that restaurant.

The food is great, although customer service is really rude, I had specific instructions, and they completely ignored it. This isn’t the first time this has happened and it’s always their delivery person. And after they ignored my instructions I tips online and the way he asked if I was going to tip more. I’m my eyes it was just very rude. I loved ordering from this place but it’s crazy how a person actions can ruin it for me so much. I’m not encouraging to never eat at this place. But i recommend just picking up or ordering in store NEVER ask for delivery.

Second chances i guess. I order large fried rice & come home i begin to eat to see there's a cut up dead roach looking insect in my rice. Never coming back. A little over priced btw. How do you add photos on here for evidence??

I had pad se ew and seen little black skillet pieces in my food. I hope they get new woks to cook in or something because that is not cool.

I tried to place a order and it said my zip code was wrong from my credit card address and still processed to take my money and when I went to the restaurant to get my food because they charged me they said they didn’t have my order and said they didn’t charge my card.

OMG! SO GOOD! Got the Singapore noodle, veggie. Such a generous variety of vegetables. And the cucumber avocado roll. Wonderful portion for the price. Fresh and tasty. Taro smoothies with tapioca. Pad thai noodle. Fresh and not overly sweet with generous veg toppings. Highly recommend!

They are ALWAYS OUT of the food I want no matter what time of day I go. If I could have selected a negative rating I would have. This place is nasty and should be shut down. The employees don’t even wash their hands or change gloves I between touching cash and food.

I wish I could post about the food but we placed the order 2 hours and 15 minutes ago, called a half an hour ago and was told the food is already on its way, and there is NO FOOD TO BE HAD. We are trying to support local business owners, but this will be the last time we order from here. When I called there was not even an apology for the over 2 hour wait. We look forward to trying other local restaurants that can feed our family in under 2.5 hours

Used to love getting food from here & thought I'd give them a try. Ordered online and then waited an hour and a half for what was promised in 35 minutes. Food was lukewarm & the flavor was bland. What happened? J-Wok & Sushi Junki used to be great.

Preordered food for pick up, I was told 15-25 minutes, hot food was ready but the sushi took over 2 hours and my hot food ended up getting cold. I had to wait inside for 2 hours. Now my food tastes horrible! Terrible experience!

It saddens me to write this review because I’ve been eating at this place for about 10years now. Today will be my LAST never ever again. How can you eat comfortable knowing there are mice droppings right above the tables? The only reason I noticed is because there was one on the Edge of my table by the condiments so I decided to get up to check the shelf above my table and it was full of MICE droppings!!! Gross. Manager can care less as well, lost my business!

I finally tried the food and comb fried rice is tasteless, and the Orange chicken falls apart.

If you want RICE WITH Flavor and GREAT, Crispy orange chicken try the other restaurant called Happiness :-) down the street

Started off with some basic sushi rolls, California and shrimp tempura. Those rolls were definitely good. Also ordered chicken Pad Thai, it was okay, wish they would have cut up the chicken into smaller pieces but was good enough.
