Awesome gluten free option in DFW terminal A. We had a pad Thai and chopped salad. Appreciate having a healthy-ish option while traveling. Nearly everything on the menu was GF or GF option.
Our waitress was excellent. Chef came out to check on our meal as well.
Worth noting they do hit you with a 3% charge for using a credit card.
We will be back.
Fast service. Courteous. Lots of dishes can be veganized. Dishes are labeled as “cen be made vegetarian” We ordered the pad Thai and the Mongolian beef but vegan. Server came out in a minute and asked if we wanted the tofu version to which we said yes. Servings are large. And they came out quick if you’re pressed for time. Food came out in 20 minutes. Dishes were tasty. No complains. A little greasy for my taste but other aspects it was well
I eat here a few times a year. Today was much different. The food was about as good as it always is, although I didn’t see the sign for the “best burger in the DFW airport” sign, and to be honest, the burger wasn’t as good as it has been. The atmosphere suffers because of the construction going on that is adjacent to the restaurant.
The trouble today was the service. When I approached, the two women at the front seemed uninterested in taking me to a table, or acknowledging me. The service did not get much better. My server was not attentive, had to be asked for a refill, and then dropped off the check midway through my meal as though they were waiting for this specific table in a nearly empty space. I also observed a few customers approach the bar for drinks only to leave after a several minutes of inattention.
I wouldn’t let one bad apple keep me from this place, or even three in this case. I’ll just give them one more opportunity to earn my patronage.
An Asian fusion restaurant that I wanted to try while I waited for my flight. One of the better choices at the airport but still below my expectations. As you may expect prices are higher and the food quality is just average, nothing special about it. The portion size is good but it lacks flavor, something I'd expect from Asian cuisine. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a nice decor and ambience and would allow you to relax while you wait for the flight.

I ordered the General Lings Chicken over fried rice. The best word to describe it is flavorless. Only the onions and my sprite had flavor.
If you want food that tastes like it came out of a cartoon and microwaved, this is your spot. I was totally underwhelmed by the cabernet sauviginon. I had better wine at a podunk airport in west virginia. I ordered the orange chicken and the flavor sucked. Could barely taste the orange. The chicken portion size was small. The rice was bland. The cooks keep making a turkey goble goble noise clearly heard at the bar.
I should have just gone to the Fridays directly across from it. Will not return.
Our meals were so good! Great food, nice waitress and couldn't ask for more!
Surprisingly delicious and gluten allergy friendly for airport food and a very sweet server. Ambience is not bad for an airport restaurant but it’s a bit too sports bar-y go my taste. But hey! It’s Texas! What do you expect!
Nothing in the order was as requested. Also my tablet was stollen I think by a staff member and there is no way to reach them. Hope someone reads this and responds

Deon IS the best server in the whole establishment if not the whole Dallas/ Fort Worth airport. He is sweet, attentive, and just beyond outstanding. Someone needs to promote him or something because for me personally he would be the only reason I come back. He makes the experience 10x different. Give that man a raise for real.
Not your typical airport food! Like fine dining! Our waiter Deon made the meal even better!
Cashew shrimp was excellent. Generous serving of shrimp. Vegetable were fresh. Friendly service. All in all,
best deal at DFW!
Ordered Pad Tai, no mention of mushrooms on menu, came with mushrooms. Sent back the dish, they removed some of the mushrooms and brought back the same dish still.with mushrooms in it. Waitress stated "Told them to remake it". They did not.
I ate in this restaurant, service was extreeeemely slow & food below expected level. I ended up paying on the cashier because I waited forever for the check and it didn't come, I paid exactly the bill value of 55$ and didn't leave any tip. Today I am looking at my credit card statement, and it reflects 66$ which is not correct, obviously they are manually changing the total amounts after customers leave. Very shady and unacceptable behaviour. I will be disputing the transaction, and they earned my 1 star google review accordingly. Be aware if you eat there, this might happen to you too!
I saw the cook squeegee dirty water from the floor to all the equipment, when I noticed I had 2 managers approach me to try and say sorry for what I saw , and his is unacceptable as you serve food to people and you are splashing dirty water to your friers , and after doing some research I found out who the owner was and saw him just sitting there as this happened , just giving everyone a heads up , would not have said anything but the way they approached me like this has happened before , I was just in awww with this . So disappointed.
Breakfast was so bad. Cold and greasy. Server never came back to ask us if we needed refills. Had to ask for forks, salt and pepper. Do not recommend at all. Party for 4, lots of food not eaten.
If you have celiac, beware. We were assured that they knew what they were doing. The first thing they brought out where the chicken lettuce wraps with a side of sauce in another container that had gluten in it. We were reassured that it hadn't touched anything and everything else was safe. Well, we had to cancel our anniversary trip because we became extremely ill shortly there after.
Service is great…the food is absolutely horrible!
I ordered edamame and the Asian chop salad with blackened ahi! Don’t do it! Don’t stop here and pay airport prices for food that truly sucks. I ordered a vodka & ginger ale too and it was terrible too, no kidding but still better than the food.
Great place to have a drink at DFW! The potstickers hit the spot with Yeungling and a shot! Service is awesome! Adrienne was an awesome server!
Got the Evil Jungle Princess Chicken (yep that's the real name I swear). Added some Sriracha. Look at this gigantic portion! Curry was lightly sweet, smooth, and peanuty. Green beans and mushrooms were fresh, and the whole thing coalesced into a delicious soup-like homogenate
Fast service. Courteous. Lots of dishes can be veganized. Dishes are labeled as “cen be made vegetarian” We ordered the pad Thai and the Mongolian beef but vegan. I got stuck in the airport for an extra 6 hours. Seafood and drink lover, so I swung by. Got the "Lings seafood hot pot". This was the best meal I have had in awhile. The shrimp, rice, scallops, and sauce was the perfect combination.
Andre and Nishi were my servers and they were awesome. I wish we had this restrurant closer to home because this was the best seafood I've had in awhile. For the record I had Japanese seafood last night for dinner and there is no comparison. I wish I knew the recipe for what I had tonight.
I've eaten here before, and the food was decent. But if you have an entire hold room of people sleeping directly next to the restaurant because American delayed their flight over 7 hours overnight, maybe don't start BLASTING AC/DC at 3:30 am while opening the restroom. So rude.
Been to many of dozen airport bars and this is hands down the best bar/restaurant that I’ve been to! Best staff best pricing best everything! Missed my flight from bozeman and it was the best mistake I’ve ever made. Kevin Breese made this whole ordeal 10000 better! Such a down to earth guy! Def will be flying into Dallas more even if it out of my way.
Wonderful service, great beer selection, but the food is extremely over priced and borderline inedible.
Food is trash. Servie bar tenders are thieves. They know you are on vacation or in travel and they extort you be careful.
An oasis if you have celiac and need gluten free food. Sat at the bar and service was fast. I enjoyed the cashew chicken.
Their burgers are sooooo good
The Salt Lick was packed (location, location, location) so I decided to give Ling and Louie’s a try. Wow! This is the hidden gem of DFW. Pleasant staff, plenty of seating, and the food isn’t the run-of-the-mill chain stuff across the hallway. This is legitimate Asian-American fusion food. The “Big Burger in Little China” was huge and tasted fantastic. The garlic fries were a nice touch as well.
Very expensive........m
We had a few hours for a layover so we stopped in because we love Asian food.
Definitely one of the better choices at DFW in the years I’ve been flying through here but I’d rate it 6.5/10. Portions sizes are good but lacks the normal punch of flavor you come to expect from Thai Food and others.
We had the Rom Kha Gai soup, Cashew stir fried chicken and orange peel chicken.
Really nice decor and plenty of TVs to watch a game or some beers while waiting to catch a flight in Terminal A.
The bar tender was an amazing server. The food was great. We split the lo mein and we’re glad we did as it is a lot of food!
Lots of gluten free options. We highly recommend the GF Orange Peel chicken. We read the reviews before coming here and the Orange Peel chicken is the dish that had the most glowing reviews so we decided to take their word. For an airport restaurant, their food is well above average. We tried all their fried rice dishes along with the orange peel. The hangover rice was good, but the Orange Peel chicken was far better.
I wouldn't recommend trying anything else besides that.
As far as aesthetics, I know other reviews mentioned it wasn't the best. We agree, it seemed run down, especially the tables and chairs. But if you're only there for the food, you'll like it. Service is slow as well, but our waitress was nice and we had a longer layover so we didn't mind.
Truly bad. Service was average but the food was inedible and overpriced. Even the soda tasted like cleaning products. Edamame had some sort of goo and was incredibly undercooked. Pad tai was devoid of taste and the honey walnut shrimp made me sick to my stomach. Don’t go here.
Very friendly service and great food, especially for an airport.
I travel through DFW a ton but today was my first time eating here. When I approached the hostess stand there was no one in sight. The restaurant was not busy with maybe 6 tables seated and a few at the bar. I waited for 5 minutes before someone appeared. I ordered the pot stickers (6 for $20) and the Salmon ($39). At the hostess podium they had photos of all of their meals and the salmon photo and description stated it came with asparagus and rice. In the photo it was spears of asparagus next to the salmon fillet and rice. Simple and straight forward. What I received was chopped up asparagus cooked with red bell pepper. I absolutely despise bell pepper and had this been presented on the menu I definitely would not have ordered it. I feel despite it being at the airport the price for the 6 pot stickers (though they were delicious) was a bit steep and the salmon itself was delicious but I could not eat the entirety of my almost $40 meal due to an unlisted item being cooked in with it. I was right on time so I did not ask the waitress for different food. After tip and taxes the grad total was around $70, which in my opinion was just too much for what I got. Will probably not go back.
Great food and great service , but the have metal music and loudness was something terrible and so unnecessary in an a environment already noise like an airport… you can do better change this terrible noise so laud and stressful to enjoy any food . For that reason you got my lower score
This is my go-to place at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport for the 4 years since I found it. Concourse A. Great Asian-fusion food and a laid back atmosphere. I sit at the bar and they have always had a friendly bar staff, Kaelyn is on duty this shift. Image is blackened ahi tacos with the local Lakewood Brewery The Temptress imperial milk stout. Not on tap just anywhere in the airport, maybe only here, and with trying if you like porters and stouts. You can't go wrong here 😋❣️
Well, not a busy restaurant, yet the waiting for everything was too long. Waiting to be seated, waiting to order food, waiting for the food, waiting... I ordered the burger. It was not bad but not great. The price was not bad but not sure it is worth it.
I could not get a staff member to greet me or offer a beverage. Place was not full and waitresses just walked by me without acknowledging my existence so I went next door to tgif which was not my first go to but thr service was impeccable there.
If you are hungry or thirsty or in a hurrry do t go to this Asian restaurant
It's great to be able to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal between flights. Friendly service, real food, makes you feel glad to be there. Tremendous range of options, literally something for everyone.
Great food but service was slow
Really outstanding service and food... Great selection o of drinks
Gluten free food at the airport!!!!!
Expensive (of course, it’s the airport) but if you need something gf it’s worth the price. Service was great.
Stay away from this place. I just went to this bar and grill and ordered the Mongolian beef. I told the waitress I wanted my beef well done. When the dish came out I could tell the beef wasn't done and still cut into it. It was pink and bloody. The waitress was very nice and took it back to be remade. Once again it came back pink and bloody. I got up and just told the waitress don't worry about it because if they didn't get it right the second time they won't the third. I told her I'd tip her and pay for the two apple juices I got. Suddenly the manager comes out and said I didn't have to pay for it and he doesn't know what's going on but maybe I'm just having a bad day. Wow! Nice way to talk to your customers. I still tipped the waitress $10 and paid for my two bottles of apple juice. Besides the tables where greasy when I first sat down also. I cant help your cooking the meat to fast that its burnt and is still bloody inside. I can't help it that everyone doesn't eat bloody meat.
Only because zero isn't an option . Will not stay open for posted hours, closes 1.5-3 hours on 5 different occasions now. Lost a couple hundred employees business today.
Tasty & hot food.
The food was great and the service was excellent. It is in an airport so it is a bit expensive.
Great bar and restaurant in the Dallas airport. I would absolutely recommend this place, though the prices are very high. As usual, that is to be expected at an airport. I wanted something spicy, and ordered the general ling's chicken. The description states that it is sweet and spicy so I asked for an extra spicy version. This absolutely did not disappoint. Not sweet at all, very spicy. Follow for more...
Located in DFW airport. Prices are high. Food mediocre. Service was prompt, which is important if you're grabbing a bite between flights.
Very good flavors, nice place in the airport ...
Great place, great food. The manager kept making rounds asking how everything was. They accidently made a mistake on our order, they happily remade our plate and made sure we were satisfied. AA++
During my brief layover in Dallas Fort Worth Airport, I grabbed a bite to eat at Ling and Louie's. No wait for seating. Requested location where I could charge a few electronic items. Service was prompt and friendly. And they asked me my flight time to help ensure I was served without interfering with boarding. Typical airport atmosphere. The food was ok. About the same I would expect from a fast food Asian fast food restaurant. It served the purpose. I had the Lucky Louie Lo Mein with chicken. Overall, it pretty much met my expectations for an airport restaurant.
I should have known this place was not good when I passed by at noon on a Sunday and there were 3 tables of people when McDonalds had a line down the terminal.
The Entrees are $28 with no sides...I waited like 10 minutes for a drink order of tea that was completely watered down.
I ordered the Lettuce Wraps with Soup and Rice Sides... The soup was actually quite good, the lettuce wraps ok and the rice felt like it had been there a few days.
I had a nice server Jessica but she was very very slow and seemed to disappear for 20+ minutes during my service (Smoke Break). I needed more tea or a water (Wasn't offered) and staff walked by my table at least 5 times and never offered to fill up tea.
Then I was brought the wrong Entree....
I gave my credit card to pay and told Jessica I was now under a time crunch because the service had been so slow. I literally had to go ask for my bill and card back from behind the counter by the pass/kitchen. The manager is a poor leader and jumped me for asking about my bill and credit card. I reiterated I was on a tight schedule to catch a flight.
Overall a really bad experience, brought on by poor leadership, poor training and too high prices even for an airport.
Recommend avoiding at all costs especially if you are in hurry between flights on American.
Quality of the Kung Oao Beef was average.
Ate here a couple times the last time I waited 25 minutes after being seated for someone to come take my order
If you want a quick expensive bite, this would be the place to go, however thee are other options, but we were in a rush so we this was our first choice.
would I go back and eat there again? Maybe.
Jasmine is the BEST SERVER there is at Ling Louie's I wish there were more waiters like her.
The potstickers were kind of hot when we got them, so we ate them. Our neighbors waited and had to leave for their flight. Our other neighbors food sat beside us for like 10 minutes before she got it, the lady set it on an empty table and walked off. The noodles sucked but the pot stickers were pretty good. Filled the gut, lucky for us we’re on layover. Good luck
Food is dry. Stale. The description was amazing wish the food was
I wouldn’t come back here. The food wasn’t great, it was bland and had almost a burnt taste to it (I had the pad Thai)…. and the service was incredibly slow. I waited about 20 mins for my check, then when I finally got it, I had to wait an eternity for someone to come get my card…. Nobody ever ended up coming, so I had to take it up to the bar for them to ring me up. Not ideal to have slow service at an airport when people have places to be.
Always enjoy stopping in if I have the time on a DFW layover between flights.
Food is tasty and portions are good. I really like the chicken lo mein.
Servers are usually faster than most airport restaurants I've sat at, which is pretty important for a traveller on a time crunch.
It's one of the few places I have found with an Orange Peel Chicken that has a kick to it. To many times, I have ordered Spicy Orange Peel Chicken, and it comes out as my Mt. Dew has more of a kick. Not this one. The chicken was well cooked and sauced, and overall, it was an excellent dining experience.
Jessica is an outstanding server!
Had 3-hour layover in DFW airport, food was super good! I had the uncle louis fried rice with shrimp, so good! I finished it all. Shame on me. The waiter was super nice as well. Im actually, leaving this review while at the table. They are located in TerminalA, Across from Hudsons and Fridays.
$20 for three small chicken tacos with blue cheese in them. Blue. Cheese. Who smoked that idea up? Server was nice but no amount of nice service could save the disgusting and overpriced food 😭
First time and last time. I regret eating here, the tables were dirty even the power outlets at eye level were crusted with food bits. After being seated I waited long enough I was ready to leave. I ordered the honey glazed shrimp with white rice, it came out shortly after. Shrimp and vegetables burnt, but cold. Rice was cold as well, the shrimp were greasy and flavorless. I am writing this while I am waiting for the check.
Overall I regret walking into this restaurant when there are so much better options, like a vending machine. Now to enjoy feeling sick for the next 3 hours on a crowded plane ... joy
Really great waitress, very attentive and they give military discounts. Atmosphere was nice and Asian style but it's an open restaraunt in an airport so not quite as nice if it were in its own building. Location is great next to the Skylink. Chicken wings with tasty fries were excellent. The shrimp fried rice was bland tasting. Pricey so expect to pay $20 per dish at least, but its an airport and everything is expensive.
UPDATE: September 27, 2023; Absolutely love Ling & Louie's! It's my favorite restaurant in DFW International Airport. My favorite entrée is the Orange Peel Chicken over rice. Unfortunately, my Orange Peel Chicken not nearly as good today. Disappointed. Everyone has an off day! Generally, the food is delicious. I will certainly return again soon! I am totally addicted to the Orange Peel Chicken. I highly recommend this entrée! Always great customer service here! Enjoy!!
The place wasn't packed and the host sat me down. I waited 30 minutes, I finally got up and walked out after the waitresses walked by me multiple times and never asked if I wanted a drink. The place overall looks nice and the price looked like normal airport prices for food so nothing out of the norm there.
Great service all around. I love the lo mein. Ask for the hot sauce with your meal
I enjoyed..
Food ok not great. Service very slow even though they weren’t busy.
Surprisingly good food. Probably my favorite place at DFW Airport so far. If I'm at that terminal again, definitely going back
Came hear for a layover, this is your run of the mil restaurant putting there own spin on classic Asian cuisine. 6 pot stickers will cost you 19.89$ if that helps with the pricing of this place. I ordered the new wave pad Tai. The nuts are whole not crushed, the dish it self dosent have a lot of noodles mostly carets and sprouts. I unfortunately found the dish to have no flavor. The waitress was nice and the atmosphere was good for a airport restaurant. I've only been here once so your experience may very
Buena opción, buen sabor, aunque los costos de bebidas son altísimos.
Unexpected treat at the airport. Freely prepared food and great mix of flavors.
Good space for an airport restaurant and a hungry traveler.
Unauthentic sushi rolls
Just had a couple of drinks for me a my wife and they were attentive even though they were short of staff! Good atmosphere!
Good drinks and great quick bites when you are on the go
Highly recommend that Hangover Fried rice. Super delicious flavors.
The Vietnamese chi ken soup was awesome.
Nice place
Can't be perfect in an airport, but the service was exceptional
This is straight up, expensive airport food. I had the pad thai, it was okay. It was marketed as spicy, definitely not even remotely spicy. My friend had the burger, he loved it. We both had ginger margaritas, highly recommend if you don't mind those airport prices!
Hospitable from the first moment. Authentic invitational team of woman - I & all our biology don’t agree with oil and they substituted real butter without attitude. Great size servings & tasty.
Absolutely delicious! Generous portions and so tasty!
Received a kale salad with browning romaine lettuce. I never send food back, but this was not anything I would ever serve anyone. Lettuce was not fresh and should not be served to folks. Extremely disappointed. Service was fine, but kitchen Chef/staff require further training on what is deemed edible to customers in a restaurant setting.
Dfw terminal a location is a great place to wait for the flight. Great staff and food
Came all the way over here from terminal C to have the Ahi Tuna. It was a huge disappointment. Probably the worst I've ever had.
Un muy buen lugar para desayunar en el aeropuerto.
Airport food and service can really be hit and miss. Our experience here was top-notch. We got waited on almost immediately.
We only had appetizers but our food came fast and everything was delicious. I particularly recommend the potstickers. They were delicious and came to the table almost too hot to eat. The lettuce wraps were good as well.
To be honest the attendant is really nice, but the food sucks.
It's an airport restaurant, so I wasn't expecting much, but the Ahi Salad and Tom Kha Gai soup were decent enough. Couple of notes on these though: Tom Kha Gai doesn't usually come with tomato and Thai basil and the lettuce for the salad was served shredded. Flavors were there but coconut soup is usually served with lemongrass, lime leaves, and galangal - none of which were present. Also, the soup was very brownish and should convey a much lighter and whiter coconut mix. The salad could've been sooooo much better with higher quality greens, but the tuna was fresh and the sauce served over it was great. Ultimately though, it's an airport restaurant lol. Great service and nice bar setting too. Plenty of servers and many other food selections. I would eat here again, but don't expect traditional items to be served with traditional ingredients.
This is my go to place when I am in terminal A at DFW airport and it is about the best you will find there. I like the firecracker chicken and it usually arrives very quickly. Only complaint is it does not seem to have much chicken (more crunch than protein), but I will still order it again.
Food and service needs some work
Good food and good service.
Good.
For being in the Dallas Fort Worth Airport is was just fine.. staff was really friendly and helpful. Food was good, drinks were great.
The worst Kung pao beef I have ever had. It was just burnt meat with no seasoning.
Excellent food, good service. Quite enjoyed
$25 for shrimp noodle slop. Puddle of grease on the plate.
Delete the restaurant….
The food was not bad, but the place is filthy.
I wouldnt call it food poisoning but whatever is before food poisoning.
Stopped for a bite while traveling home and had the pleasure of being served by Geiā. She is very kind, attentive, funny, and made the majority of our 3 hour layover enjoyable and entertaining. You don't get service like this just anywhere! Thanks, Geiā!
Not many choices in DFW unfortunately. Food is salty mix with sugar. Service was good so that’s why I give 3 stars despite the salty food.
Excellent food and Stellar service by Levi. I'll return any day!
We had a great breakfast/lunch before our flight. High quality food. Also loved the healthy life soup (spicy!) and potstickers. Great service as well.
Best place ever. Allan rules.
I was there once, I ordered my meal and everything was going well until.. ooh surprise there is a piece of plastic in my food.. best way to add a touch of contamination for my mouth 👍🏻👍🏻 nice going kitchen staff 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 a big round of applause
Kung Pao, Uncle Fu’s fried rice and Hangover fried rice were all spectacular!
Long day of travel with delays. The food was great the burger snd Mongolian beef way better than expected. But our waitress stole the show. Geia was her name and her spunk and her treatment of us snd every guest around was awesome. Every guest complimented her on her attitude and kindness. Overtipped and she deserved it. If I owned a restaurant I would make her the trainer. Undercover boss should put her on an episode.
Very very pricey and the food was hard to take even for guy like me that I eat anything when hungry. Have in mind I didn’t even paid myself, it was on the company’s bill. Stay away
As far as airport food goes this place was pretty good. I had the fried rice combo and it was very tasty, a large enough serving it could have easily fed 2 people, the only real downside I can think of was there was very few veggies and a lot of rice. Typical for Airport food it was a little pricey at around $32 after a 20% tip. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back next time.
Service was great but the food was so bland. And expensive. $25 for a bad pad Thai.
This place is terrible. Rice is just bad...chicken is not great at all...do not eat here
Good food and good service.
They charged me $21 per 9oz glass of wine. The price was not on the menu. A glass of wine was more expensive than my burger. Burger was fine, but I left dead inside. Sorry.
The burger...the best one I have ever eaten.
Sat at the bar before my flight and the bartender couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. He recommended the seared ahi tuna and potstickers and both were excellent. Saving this restaurant for my next trip thru DFW.
Ling & Louie's is always hit or miss. I guess it depends on who's in the kitchen. Today was okay but definitely could've been much better. Most times it's bland today it was way to sweet. I got the Orange Chicken with noodles instead of rice 🍚 or fried rice & I wasn't expecting them to also toss the noodles in the orange glaze which made it extremely to citrusy sweet. If I get it again, I'm going to have to make sure or ask that they don't do that. Just stir-fry the noodles as they normally would and put the Orange Chicken on the side or on top. But besides that, it came out quickly & lunch was both affordable and filling. Give them a try if and when you're @ DFW in Terminal A.
