Literally in my top 5 favorite Japanese restaurants ever. One of my favorite sushi experiences as well. Can’t recommend the Angel’s Secret roll and 56 roll enough. Both are an adventure in your mouth every bite. If you want fresh, citric, and spicy - I think the Angel’s Secret is one of the most perfect rolls ever made. The tonkatsu ramen and steak teriyaki were extremely fresh, satiating, and flavorful. It’s a hidden gym off the interstate before entering into the heart of downtown. I wish I lived near here just so I could eat here again. 10/10 experience.

The ambiance at Katsumori was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a date night. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

My fiancé and I are still celebrating his birthday this weekend so we had to find a local Sushi restaurant. So happy we found Katsumori. They are exactly what we were looking for. They have the best customer service which, of course, always makes for a trip great. Sherry, our waitress was precious and attentive. Viny, Belinda, and Sake continued to check on us and cleared what they could. Executive chef, Danny and sushi chef, Santiago did an excellent job! So delicious!

I went to this restaurant when it was only a Thai restaurant. I went back with the same friend to see that it changed into an Asian Fusion spot I was surprised but not disappointed. The staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered some Happy Hour apps and then sushi. The sushi names were the best. I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff was attentive. I would definitely come back again.

Top flight sushi. This place was bomb. The rolls were fresh and everything was very generous portions. All the appetizers we tried were very tasty. The tempura was crunchy and delicious along with the gyoza. Poke nachos were a hit. Beer and sake were a great addition to our meal. The head chef even came out to see how all the tables were doing and how the food was, all I heard were compliments. Definitely give this place a try if you're craving sushi.

I stop here at least once every time I fly into PBI. The food is always amazing. I've ordered something different every single time. I've been there with the exception of miso soup.I get that every time.

They have a happy hour from 4-6pm that is fabulous. We ordered so many great options. The staff are so accommodating and give amazing service and they truly care about what they do. We met the owner Vinny and she was so nice to speak with. DONT miss this place.

tonight was the second time I’ve ordered from this place that isn’t cheap and my order was wrong and after I called to say I wanted corrected after picking it up and driving home. They said they would, but then after driving back to the restaurant it was still wrong.

Great fish and service

Wonderful place!!!!! The food is absolutely delicious, from the sushi to the Thai dishes. It’s all spectacular here. Also, the people working here are extremely kind.

We waited about 20 minutes for the order to be taken, then waited almost an hour for the order itself. The place is cramped and stuffy, the air conditioning is weak, it’s hot, and there’s a constant smell of smoke from the kitchen, it seems like their ventilation doesn’t work. The parking is inconvenient. The food is tasty. I recommend ordering for pickup, I strongly do not recommend dining inside.

Such a hidden gem! Food is always amazing…especially the spicy tuna pizza! Service is quick and efficient! Everyone who works there is super friendly! I would definitely recommend eating here!

I am born and raised in the WPB area and have always wanted a good sushi option. This is the best sushi I have had in 45 years in WPB.

Maybe I'm just old and I was used to different prices all the Japanese places I lunched and dined at in California, but 2 lil slices of maguro sashimi for 8$, and this is not the prime quality sashimi I'm used to, felt overpriced, as well as the Tempura dish with just one shrimp for +-15$ ... Wow ... And I am not saying that this is necessarily the owner's pricing, but it does reflect the price of doing business... (Lease, taxes, etc.) .... Still had a good time.... All though I would have preferred a different kind of music then the crony covers... Still though, my friend and I had a good time

Drove really far to check this place out. Got there, sat down and was never asked if I wanted a beverage. Ok that’s fine. I have water. I’m ready to order so I’m sitting there waiting. (The owner already told me to have a seat) A party of three walks in and sits down and a woman comes, looks me dead in my eyes and sees the menu is folded and I’m ready to order. Yet she turns from me and and takes their order right in my face. Is it because I have gold teeth? Was I dressed too “urban”? I don’t know but I felt really disrespected.

We moved here 18 months ago and have been so disappointed there is ZERO good Thai/Malay/SE Asian food. Thai is not sushi…that’s Japanese. But this place has a great Penang Sauce…in fact, one of the best I’ve had. Ambiance is pleasant too: not too loud. And they deliver - we’ll be wearing that out.

Food was very good ! But our bank statement did not match our receipt by $21 .So my wife called and spoke to the manager and she pulled up our table from date and time and agreed with our receipt price . She told my give her a hour and she would call her back because someone made a mistake and we never heard from her. Good thing my wife keeps receipts so now she will dispute with the bank . So please customers beware there’s scammers everywhere!

Truly delicious and phenomenal quality fish, definitely the best in PBC by far. Won’t go anywhere else for sushi now. Only regret is that I had no idea this place opened one year ago.
We went twice in one week and were thrilled both times. Can’t wait to go back.

Danny and his wife were super accommodating. I guess we arrived on their one year anniversary. There was a DJ, free champagne bottles too. It was amazing. Loved the sushi and the type of people there were nice. It had a great vibe. The sushi was fresh and the hamachi combo (get a side on ponzu) was so delicious. I’ll be back again. Was really looking forward to trying the food. Staff can’t keep track of who’s in line though so that’s unfortunate. One star because I was in a hurry to get some food before heading to the train station and we were there early, told it was a ten minute wait. We waited 25 minutes, and then a couple who showed up after us was seated first.

This place is another local gem and now my new regular sushi spot after my old go-to recently closed. The sushi is fantastic both in quality and flavour, the service is genuinely welcoming and friendly, and the decor is cozy. Truly really love everything about this place and can't wait to keep coming back!

Terrible service from the staff, such as waiters and hosts. They make you wait outside when they have space. And I am a food delivery driver and you don't have to classify people. Respect, instruct your workers well and if they don't know and can, let me teach them.

Katsumori food is 10/10. We had the crab rangoons, fried gyoza, 56 roll, spicy crab roll, spicy tuna roll, and steamed udon. Everything was amazing…especially the 56 roll. The tuna roll was on the saltier side. Only downside the service was a little slow at the beginning and forgot some stuff…but all cleared up! Amazing food and atmosphere.

I came to WPB for a week to do a teaching certificate. Katsumori was on the walk back to the hotel and I stopped in every evening since I enjoyed the mom and pop vibe of the restaurant. The executive chef (and main sushi chef) was very kind to me and I enjoyed talking and getting to know the staff. The food is quite good, I had the katsu donburi one night, the Thai green curry another night, and the omazake the third evening. The happy hour deals sake and appetizers are also yummy and satisfying. It was my home away from home during my trip.

We visited Katsumori Asian Fusion for lunch on a Friday and had a fantastic experience. There was no wait, and it was easy to push my daughter's wheelchair inside and up to a table. We all enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken Bento box, which included rice (we upgraded to fried rice), salad with ginger dressing, stir-fried veggies, vegetable rolls, and a California roll. I also tried their version of crab Rangoon, pot stickers, and clear mushroom soup. Everything was very tasty, with large, fresh portions. My absolute favorite was the clear mushroom soup – I’ve been craving it every day since! Highly recommend this place for both the food and the wheelchair accessibility.

Absolutely delicious! The spicy salmon crispy rice was the best. We had the Chicken gyozas, tuna & salmon tatakis, spicy salmon wonton appetizers and the most delicious variety of fish and unique sushi/sashimi options. Great variety. Great portion size. Chicken teriyaki was yummy for the less adventurous in the group. Try the Plum wine with plums! Thai donuts were so good we ordered a second round. Kids loved the salmon sushi.

If you're looking for excellent sushi in a nice atmosphere in West Palm, this is your place! Nice selection of Asian beers too. We had the Toro roll, the volcano roll w/scallop, and Angels Secret roll. I highly recommend all three! Pretty small place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Limited parking.

From the minute you enter, you are welcomed by the very talented and friendly chef and owner, Danny, and his sweet wife. The food is delightful, the music is relaxing, and the experience is wonderful in all ways. And don't forget to ask Danny about golf, another of his passions. We'll return again and bring our family and friends for sure!

Highly recommend. A hidden gem. Wanted to eat here a few times before I gave a review. First off the food is consistently excellent. Dishes look and taste beautiful. The staff is friendly. And always smiling. The owner is behind the sushi bar each time we have been here. He takes great pride in what he does and it shows. The place is quaint parking is easy and it’s just south of okeechobee. Blvd. Great place to get some food then go see a show at the Kravis center. They have a nice selection of sake. We were there for their happy hour and tried their “happy sake!” It was light -fresh- crisp- clean tasting. We each got a few bottles. Nicely priced. Theirs a few things we ordered that we love. Crispy rice app 4 pieces. Eat two and your full so sharing is great for that app has a nice flavor with a hint of smoky flavoring. There’s a roll you have to try. It’s sooo good on the menu it’s called “take it easy!” Roll $20. The flavors are wonderful. Just a hint of cilantro brings this roll to a new level. We eat a lot of sushi up and down the coast. Always looking for a good place we can call home. A goto place and this feels like home for us. Looking forward to our next visit. Cheers

They had a really great food/drink happy hour (4-6pm), and the owner even gave me a complimentary tuna/cucumber spicy salad while I waited for my sushi. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, like something out of Cheers. The chefs create amazing dishes, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The fish is always super fresh! Highly recommend!

Great and fresh quality 🍱 sushi, after living in west palm for over 5 years we finally found our sushi spot. Make sure you try the Japanese poke nacho this starter is in another level, service was outstanding, ask for Yuri when you come in she took care of us, definitely we will be back soon.

By far best Asian fusion in South Florida. I have been to many places and this trumps all. Staff is super friendly Chef Danny and Yoshi deliver every single time with fresh fish and extraordinary sushi. Food from the kitchen is fresh and extremely delicious.

Me and my father did work for the owner of this establishment, and not only was he kind but even when we were fitly from work he urged us to sit and have some of the most delicious FOOD me and my father has ever indulged on I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to come here and enjoy.

As I suspected before even coming here for dinner, this restaurant is truly spectacular. Truly. Chef Danny is a master of his craft and I can assure you this place will leave an impression on you as well.

1 Tardan mucho en entregar un pedido en online.

My experience and observations at Katsumori restaurant was not one of the best.

My explanation and visualization of the restaurant was that there is a customer classification by the owner of the restaurant, as she is also part of the work team.

I do not take away from the quality and authenticity of the food at the Katsumori restaurant, it is excellent, but I want to separate the quality of the food from the poor service treatment by the restaurant's team of workers, mainly the owner of the restaurant, being part of the work team and with the role of restaurant manager.

Observations

1 They take a long time to deliver an online order.

2 there is preference with clients depending on their economic level.

3 Many times you also place an order and they give it wrong.

In my observed experience I would never return or recommend the Katsumori restaurant again.

Best Sushi ever!!! My husband and I enjoyed everything we ate which was wonton soup, My ex Kelly roll (I added cream cheese) and a Maxi Monster Lobster roll- absolutely delicious! The customer service was superb, everyone was friendly even if they weren’t servicing your table. You should visit this place you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious! The food had such a clean and flavorful taste and the presentation was beautiful. We had two of the ramens, two sets of rolls (spicy tuna) and a cucumber and krab appetizer. The hot green tea and sake were also very good.
We loved admiring the artwork hanging everywhere and the bar looked great. Will def go back!

Really good Asian fusion food. We were a group of 7 and they were able to accommodate us without any wait in a weekend. We ordered spicy edamame, fried gyozo, California roll with salmon, sea weed salad. They had interesting drinks as well. Everyone got the lychee sake tini which was excellent. On the non alcoholic side we got Thai ice tea with boba. Highly recommend the lychee sake tini. The spicy edamame was good, the California roll was excellent. The fried gyozo was alright. For main course we got the tankotsu ramen and kimchi ramen. The broth on the tonkostu was alright. The kimchi broth was tasty. Recommend the kimchi ramen. Overall the food was good. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Great place for bigger groups.

We came here for dinner off a recommendation from a friend. Honestly I would never have thought to look for a restaurant in this area. It’s a tiny intimate setting. The service was amazing and so was the food. We had a JB, Spicy tuna and Danny B roll. They were all great. The chef even came out to check on how we were enjoying our food. They have what looks like a really good lunch special. I’ll have to come back and try that.

Took 1.5hrs to complete an order I placed online. Also gave me the wrong food - I ordered a fried chicken app and they gave me a fried octopus app. Again, 1.5hrs to complete an order.

If this were NYC, Katsumori would be “the place”. Yaki Udon is some of the best I’ve ever had and the sushi is amazing (volcano roll with scallops). So happy we have this restaurant so close to home. #SoDwn

From the moment I stepped in, customer service was on point! The Coconut soup with chicken was delicious! Not to mention the Ono(Wahoo) and Hamachi(Yellowtail) was out of this world! Fresh and made right in front of me at the bar. Red bean ice cream is a must try ice cream. Props to the sushi chefs and the servers, I will definitely be returning.

If you have a respect and love for quality in both flavor and service, this restaurant is a must on your list. Everything was incredibly delicious, beautiful, flavorful, perfect textures and the inside had the perfect calming mood. The owners and the staff are lovely and you will probably see items on the menu you’ve never heard of, which makes it unique! Please go and I’m sure you’ll love it. And order the hamachi kama! I’ve been coming here regularly for several months. Very good quality sushi and Japanese food, as well as some Thai dishes. The prices are very good, the service, attentive, and a mellow atmosphere.

The BEST Asian cuisine I have ever eaten and I don’t say that lightly. I was with a table of 15 and had the fortune to “sample” many of the appetizers, sushi, and entrees and ALL of them were delicious. In addition the portions were generous.
So if you’re looking for GREAT food, reasonably priced, and nice atmosphere this is the place for you. The only reason why I gave 3 stars for the service is because of the size of the party, the server and assistant were a little overwhelmed since we ordered a ton of food. Lastly there’s an outdoor DJ playing requests who’s super nice. So after dinner we danced to work off the amazing food. How many places offer that?! The inside is tastefully decorated, and even the bathrooms were upscale.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Chef Danny and his wife Winnie have a great thing going on here. Impeccable service, the freshest sushi/nigiri I've ever had and a very cool restaurant. OMG how tasty was everything!!! The first time I’ve tried such an amazing rolls in Florida. Speciality rolls we ordered were so fresh and delicious! Really recommend to all rolls lovers.

DISAPPOINTED! First time trying this place and it was 80% let down. Chirashi was fine but we ordered Pad See Ew for pick up and paid extra to add Asparagus, Bamboo Shoots, and Bell Peppers just as the receipt clearly states. After driving to pick it up we get home and of course, none of the added vegetables that we paid for were in the dish. I called the restaurant and was asked "would you like us to make another one" to which I responded, yes. Then i got back in the car, drove there for a second time to pick up the correct dish. Low and behold I get home and all they did was send me the vegetables that they forgot originally, not a new correct version of the dish i originally ordered..... great, so now I can add that to the hour old pad see ew. Mind blowing. Tried them because they're new in town but I guess it's back to Sushi Jo for us.

No one des it better than Katsumori! This is the freshest food and best quality Thai Japanese cuisine in South Florida. I am there at least once a week and I am always happy with the food!

Discovered this gem while on a business trip to West Palm Beach. Food was fresh, portion sizes were impressive and everything tasted amazing. Friendly service and the owner checked in multiple times to see if we had any needs It has been a long time since I have seen service like this - quite refreshing. I strongly recommend them to anyone that likes fresh sushi or Thai food

Well kept local secret. Excellent Sushi made from high quality fish. I also tried the Japanese crepe cake which was excellent. Prices are very low compared to food quality

Optimistic redo of a traditional Thai staple. Service was adequate though it took almost 30 minutes to order. Live music was nice but too loud to sit outside and enjoy while trying to have dinner conversation. All food items were nicely prepared. Nothing out of the regular Asian fare and all tasted fine. Most likely will order take out next time.

Women server is talking wrong to the door dash delivery drivers she wants to driver’s know what customer ordered that supposed to be her job drivers need to know name , order numbers and make sure to grab the drinks , drivers visit every day 100 restaurants how they can know all the menu she is so stupid and rude how owners allowed to her talk to the people like this way probably she is his wife or girlfriend, she doesn’t understand i might be delivery driver today and tomorrow i m going to come there as an customer then good luck to you 😊

Great foods and service!

This was the perfect dining experience. The food was incredible. So flavorful and perfectly balanced. The sushi was some of the best I've had. Bow was our server and she is as attentive as she is kind. It was a delight to have met her. We will absolutely be back.
This was 10/10. I wish I had pictures but the food was gone too fast. 😋 thank you to everyone at Katsumori for a great dinner with my family.

With only a small number of reviews, we gingerly decided to come here. Thankfully, once inside the restaurant, we instantly felt the warmth of the hostess, Bow, who was playfully talkative and guided us to pick the suitable sushi rolls. We tried Prawns, Soft shell crabs, and Tuna. Each one felt fresh with an elegant presentation. Thank you Team Katsumori.

This was my first visit, and I was quite impressed. There were a large number of lunch special choices, and a really extensive full menu I didn't even get to thoroughly read because I was short on time.
I had to two roll combo and it came with a side salad and two gyozo. It was a very nice lunch and it looked as nice as it tasted.

I had the spicy miso soup and happy hour spicy tuna rolls and they were both incredible! The staff were all so kind, engaging, and helpful. It's hard to find good sushi in West Palm, so this was a welcome surprise. I will 100% go back again!
