The original burn down this is the replacement. It’s nowhere near as good as the original atmosphere is now horrible. They have a different staff cooking the food. It’s not the same quality. The owner is very unfriendly.

My husband and I always visit this place and we have to eat at this restaurant when we are in Miami. Red That is my favorite Thai restaurant, I almost exclusively order curry and I've tried all of the curry options except for the seafood one and they've each been delicious. Yaya, the owner cooks a mean spicy curry and is so sweet it makes my day every time I see her.

There are choices, they are all thoughtful and not an afterthought, and the staff is incredibly friendly and provides great service. The food was ok not that good but not that bad either, the service was terrible, when i was eating before i finished my food, i got into my phone for a bit and the guy was trying to take my plate twice and i didnt even finish eating yet, that is very bad, even tho he added water to my cup without telling me nothing, that was rude because i was in my phone, he did the same thing to the table in the corner, they were talking and he start to put water to all the cups interrupting everybody, thats not nice, he needs to learn some manners, i dont think i will come back but the atmosphere was good.

Everything was OK, nothing really great. My family said the sushi was good, not great- my fried tofu was barely fried and mushy. Pad se eiw tasted exactly like the pad thai. Drunken noodles were good. Service was good, it was take out and on time. May try again when I visit to give another chance.

I have been to Red Thai a handful of times. My last time being there, I was treated poorly by the female server. She was rude to me and my family. We ordered a lot of food and immediately after eating, I felt ill. Crazy thing is, my family and friends felt sick too. We all felt like our food was tampered with. I will not go back to Red Thai until that waitress is gone.

WOW! What an amazing Thai spot! I was craving spicy drunken noodles and decided to do a pickup order. When I called, they allowed me to set a spiciness level of 1-5 and I chose 4. The drunken noodles were exactly the perfect spice I requested. Along with my order came some DELICIOUS Thai donuts that were to die for! This is forever now going to be my new to go Thai spot in the area. Also the service I received from Yaya was so welcoming. Thank you Red Thai! I’ll be back :)

Dont be fooled by the new (overpriced, underportioned) restaurant across the street- Red Thai is THE best sushi restaurant in downtown Hollywood. It's excellent, and in case it matters to you (and it should), locally owned, not a franchise with no motivation but to make money. Very friendly staff and owner, clean, recently redecorated and welcoming. The Thai and Japanese foods I've tried have all been excellent, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for downtown. In my opinion it's one of the best restaurants in the area, don't miss it!

Ordered takeout over the phone. When I arrived, I kindly asked if I could take a seat and eat the food inside…waiter told me she cannot allow me to sit because I ordered to go. Never have I been told I can’t sit down after paying for food. The restaurant was empty, I wasn’t asking to serve me in a plate since the food was already packaged, but I don’t see why I couldn’t sit down and eat the food I bought from them. Never again.

Got the vegetarian drunken noodle. The worst Thai food I’ve had in South Florida. It wasn’t terrible, but there are SO many places that are way better — especially for the price.

The veggies were soggy, seemed like they were just microwaved and thrown into the noodles. My boyfriend’s food (ginger & onion chicken was also disappointingly mediocre).

If you’re craving Thai in this area, do yourself a favor and drive down 10 mins to See Thai in Hallendale. SO good!

I went on your 300 and first day of opening and I must say that the atmosphere is cafeteria style, but speaking of the food, I have never had such horrible sushi. it was so small and the rice was sticky. I ordered a rice with shrimp and it seemed like they cut the shrimp into six pieces and put it on my plate. Nothing compares to the new restaurant across the street (Sushi Sake)... the best without a doubt👎👎

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Sushi was bland, and not at all what I expected. I ordered Thai doughnuts and a dragon roll, that I have had many variations of but this was the worse. I ordered to go, but after walking to the restaurant and seeing how quaint the place was I changed my mind to eat-in. Before I could even open the to-go bag the waitress/server says you can't eat in here. I said excuse me, she then states since you ordered to-go you have to take the food and go because they already used the containers. I stated, if I ate here and needed a to-go container it would be these exact same containers. She then states, oh well that's just the policy. I asked to see a policy and there was not one bought to me. I wrapped my food up and left, get back to my office to eat it and I am highly disappointed. I gave the doughnuts to a co-worker of mine. I most likely will not be returning.

I ordered the sashimi appetizer, tuna su, seaweed salad, and a garden salad with ginger dressing.

I ordered delivery. First fail. No chop chicks. Well we have an issue.

This is usually a very standard order wherever I go, so it’s easy to compare. The salad was basic but it was the ginger dressing that did it in. It was overly sweet, lacked flavor, and runny. To me it was actually not something I could eat.
The seaweed salad was so chewy, unpalatable, and just hard to even eat. Hard to explain the texture. That was a pass too.

I started to eat my sushi. I got through two pieces of the tuna su, but something was off, the tuna was very mushy. The consistency of the salmon was the same. I tried a piece of each sashimi but nothing tasted quite right.

I did contact Uber eats and they said there is nothing they can do for me. Yes these these happen. I hate to leave bad reviews and I’m sorry too. But food safety is always a big concern of mine.

It looks like they have great reviews on their Thai food, so that may be the way to go.

Always love Red Thai! The drunken noodles is the best, hands down. Also, any curry dish they prepare is delicious. And you can never go wrong with a dragon roll. They never disappoint!!!

The place it's extremely small, parking it's horrible! If you bring kids you have to stay by the sushi area, no space for wheelchair or strollers or a booster chair. The time I went everyone was focus on where a family was able to seat that they forgot to get my order. Waitress kept telling the family they can't seat were they want they only have one option (by the Sushi area) no window option for them. If you bring kids keep in mind you have only one table available. Second keep in my if you have 4 people the table will be full! The space it's small. After that i couldn't enjoy my food, they wasted so much time with the other family. Maybe next time I will have a better experience.

Great food quality. We loved every single dish we tried, its not our first time here. Today I got the noodles with broccoli egg and shrimp. Soooo good. And only 15$ for lunch special. This unassuming sushi/thai restaurant has much more delectable food than you would expect. What caught me off guard was the flavor and the freshness. Their simple tofu pad thai made me realize that the pad thai ive eaten at other restaurants is not good quality. The flavor was rich with ingredients you can taste and recognize and the tofu tasted like it was freshly fried and not preheated and spongy like most other thai places. The service was also excellent and the owner, Yaya, is extremely warm and welcoming. Excellent experience so dine-in before too many people discover this place!

We went to the Downtown Hollywood Mardi Gras event and wanted something other than street food. We stopped at a few restaurants that didn't work out due to available seating, etc. Red Thai accommodated our party of 6. The staff was incredible including Amy our server who was extremely helpful with a couple of us "Keto" folk and the food was some of the best Thai we have ever eaten. Crispy duck, Panang curry salmon, Pad Thai all were spectacular. We'll be back soon!

Small little place right on Hollywood Boulevard.
Highly recommend and will visit again if in the area. Fresh spring rolls are a must for a starter. Our server Amy was a perfect mix of personable and funny and recommended options we otherwise never would have ordered. (Salmon red curry and Hollywood Roll) both were filled with flavor and quite delicious. She also recommended the Pearl Pilsner which turned out a great light beer from Japan.

I ordered an avocado sushi roll with brown rice and it was fantastic. The brown rice was not your ordinary brown rice, it was dark and grainy and very hearty. I was kind of surprised that the entire roll came with only four teeny slices of ginger and a dab of wasabi that was smaller than a pea ( nowhere near enough ). But I also ordered a large Japanese salad that was supposed to come with avocado and asparagus, and it was awful. I found it strange that the person who I went to dinner with got her soup and meal, and none of my food came for a half-hour after hers did. My poor friend had to stare at all the food in front of her because she didn't want to eat until I got some of my food. That's a half hour of waiting! The waitress said oh sorry we had a big sushi order. As though that was my problem. The lettuce seemed mushy and old, the asparagus was this strange olive green color and seemed to be either old or from a can, and there was barely any avocado to speak of (about 3 super thin slices). The tomato in it was almost a light pink and definitely not ripe yet. But the most disappointing part was the peanut dressing that I ordered on the side. It was thin, runny and seemed like brown sugar water with a tad of peanut flavor thrown in. Nothing remotely similar to the luscious Thai peanut dressing you find in restaurants like this. Not quite sure how, in the same restaurant, the sushi can be a home run, and a salad could be exactly the opposite.

Red Thai and Sushi has the BEST Thai food I ever had! Everything is so delicious and Yaya and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options. My favorite dishes include panang curry, drunken noodle, three flavors, and pad Thai.

Definitely a great local sushi spot! Clean, new location. The food is always good I used to love the old spot but this location hasn’t disappointed! I ordered Uber eats a couple times from here and today I decided to come for a quick bite food is excellent if your into good sushi appetizers and rolls! Amy excellent service and attentive !

Red Thai and Sushi by Yaya never disappoints. The food is delicious. Chicken " Mother in Law" is one of my favorites. I return often just for this delicious dish. The owner and staff are very friendly and always make you feel special.

This place is absolutely amazing and super delicious! My husband and I are both vegan and come here all the time. They can make ANYTHING vegan! We love their vegan Tom yum soup, vegetable spring rolls and vegan Buffalo wings for appetizers. Their pad Thai and fried rice are the best we’ve ever had!! You MUST try this place whether you’re visiting or live in the area. You won’t be disappointed!!

The place was super clean, excellent service and talking about the food everything was fresh even the pieces of sushi so easy to eat the chef made nice pieces… My new favorite sushi place👏👏 Owner is super nice she is always taking care of her customer ❤️ Yaya❤️

The experience was pretty bad the owner she is a woman she stole from me and my husband another 30$ so we paid 96.13$ and not 66.13 the dishes wasn’t clean and the most important I told her I’m allergic to the pork and she brought me curry with pork super bad.

Had the beef with garlic. I can't remember the exact name of the menu item but it was absolutely delicious. I also had the heat level 5 which was nice and spicy! Very friendly service I would definitely go back when I come back to town.

Amazing! Just amazing. The soup was really good. And my daughter lover their fishball soup and pad Thai. Though I can’t judge whether it was authentic or not as I’m not a regular eater of Thai food,but my tastebuds got very happy after having dinner there last week! Loved it.

Ordered take out, pad see ew no egg and massaman curry… everything was so bland, and the food had egg in it. Very disappointing and worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Wanted to love it I really did.

The food was not fresh and it was not cooked well. The sushi fish and rice were dry, as were the chicken and rice for the red curry. Vegetables were overcooked. The servers and manager, however, were very nice. Still, I would NOT return to this place.

Quality has gone down, this is not the old Red Thai restaurant. Sushi fish had a bad taste, rice was dry, and the roll itself was poorly constructed. Red curry was brown and came out lukewarm. Staff was friendly and place is clean.

Very uncomfortable place and cold welcome. I ordered 2 dishes with the same degree of spicy and one was very spicy, the other as I requested, but when I told the waiter about it, no one even did anything. Think twice to go there

Horrible experience, went all the way to Red Thai & Sushi and it's closed, their hours say they're open tonight. Now I'm hangry. Horrible management, it is not difficult to keep business hours updated. I suppose the business may have closed for good, hard telling 🤷🏼‍♀️

The kindest staff I’ve ever met at a restaurant. This, combined with the quality of the sushi and pad thai, and the atmosphere, made Red feel more like a visit to an old friend’s kitchen who is delighted to cook for you. I can’t wait to return.

The rolls in my picture are Tuna Jalapeño and Hollywood. Both were great.

Best chicken Tom Kha I’ve ever had. Great service, sushi, and sake. Small place but SO worth it!!!

Wwooooo… tried to sneak 30% tip. Then tried to bully me into it. No cool dude.

So sad- after a 15 minutes wait to find a spot, my mouth was watering to dig into my Red Curry Tofu. One would think it was bad enough that there was a long hair in my food, but no. There was a big piece of chicken. I think I have to find a new Thai place. Very disappointing. Hope they can maintain quality with popularity.
So happy that this place reopened. Service and food are outstanding!! I personally love the curry but their sushi is tasty as well.

Amazing pad thai

Location was on a cute strip. Ambiance was expected for price point. Service was good and food came quickly. We ordered 2 of the Thai lunch specials. They were quite delicious but we both ended up taking home some as the portions were large. Would recommend if you are in the area looking for a nice casual, good tasting lunch
