Ahi Asian Bistro serves traditional Japanese cuisine, a variety of market fresh sushi, as well as authentic Thai dishes
As a sushi consumer for more than 40 years I seldom hesitate to try a place that is new to me. Quite often I walk out once I see the selection in the counter box. If what I see pleases me or I notice something special, I will stay.
What attracted me was a chalkboard that listed Sweet Shrimp and a couple types of fish belly. I also noticed a specialty roll that I found very intriguing. When they told me the shrimp included the head, I was hooked.
Their Toro was just ok. $15 for a couple small slices, not something I would order again. The Salmon Belly I liked much better, silky smooth with generous cuts. The star was the Sweet Shrimp. A succulent and tasty treasure that almost melted in my mouth. The crunchy head battered and cooked to perfection.
As is customary, I tried the Tempura Shrimp and liked it as well. A very light batter, just a tad oily, that lets you experience the shrimp flavor. A different version that I found appealing.
I did not try the roll I wanted because I was full. A complimentary Miso Soup and Spring Roll were a nice touch. The service was very good, they were patient, helpful, attentive and friendly throughout. I will be coming back. Come get you some.
This is a very casual sushi or hibachi restaurant, it’s small inside but really packs a punch with their decor. We got seated immediately and felt very cozy and comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly, we ordered some sushi and it was really good. I got the chicken hibachi dinner special and my wife got the pad Thai… she wasn’t very pleased with the pad Thai so we ordered her another sushi roll and the manager and waitress both came and apologized for the pad thai, they were very friendly and of course removed it from our bill. Aside from this incident everything was fantastic! We came with some friends but I would definitely go back for a quick date night or Saturday afternoon lunch! Thanks again for being so friendly.
First time came here, it’s in a small area at a plaza. I would say it was clean when we walked in and served immediately as soon we sat down. The vibe good have been more vibrant, it’s a small restaurant. Our server was great and attentive to everything. The food was good except for the portions. Their portion sizes were a bit small and price was a little expensive for the amount you get. I got a side salad from my entrée and it had too much ginger dressing my lettuce was soaked in it. The sushi dinner could have been more portion for $25 what we paid for. Hibachi was great but noodles were a little bland. I left there wanting more but would go somewhere else next time.
Stopped in for a late lunch today .. it's a quaint place, plenty of seating. The staff was super attentive - drinks were delivered immediately and appetizers shortly after.. our rolls were beautifully presented on a boat.. Our server was hospitable and pointed out each roll specifically. We had a fresh feast on crab, tuna and salmon, the rice was delicious.. so soft and warm.
The sushi chef even checked on us!!
Our drinks were refilled without asking..
We'll be back for sushi.. I look forward to door dashing too!!
I’ve eaten sushi in Tampa for 30 years and Ahi Asian Bistro is hands down the best around. My family comes At least once a week. Roger and Dominique and everyone else are there are great. Don’t miss out on this place!
Support local owned business and they will support you! This is our favorite Sushi spot. Roger the owner is so warm and welcoming. We are there every other week and he knows us by name and the rest of his regular customers. His rolls are fabulous and innovative. He offers Thai dishes as well as Hibachi. All amazing and better than Kobe’s
My family ate here last night without me as I was not feeling well. Roger asked where I was and when he found out I was sick he sent home vegetable wonton soup to me. This right here is why we will always return to the best sushi in Tampa.
Thank you Roger for always being so kind to us!
Ps -waiting for a roll to be named after us! 3 ladies roll?
( I usually don't right a Bad review, I just dont order there anymore but had to here) I was at auto zone picking up some parts and seen this Store next door and went in and it had a nice atmosphere and saw 2 tables and the food looked good. So Last night I decided to grub hub some . Miso soup and price was 3.50 and that cheap but really guys it was about 4 Table spoon of soup but flavor was good! I'll give you that. Tofu spring rolls had more glad wrap around it than rice paper so first bite fell apart and it was mostly lettuce and no flavor and the peanut sauce didn't taste like peanut sauce and it was very runny. Chicken skewers look old and dried out and no flavor and like I said before peanut sauce didn't have a peanut taste and was watery. Cool looking place though!
The owner leads by example with charm and sincerity in each dish prepared and served. I have been enjoying visiting since they opened. The staff follows his example. I’ve enjoyed dine in, take out and delivery. I will continue to come back.

The service was amazing. I look forward to going back
Me and my partner came here and we had am amazing the food was delicious the space was quiet and a big plus they had many vegan options. Also huge shout out to Lewis our server who was great!
Great quality, portions and service.

Excellent food and service. I've been here a few times now, and it never disappoints.
Best Asian in Carrollwood. Very friendly staff, great sushi and their tofu pad Thai is awesome. If you're in the neighborhood, pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed.
Absolutelly BEST sushi joint 😍😍
They serve your sushi on a boat display which won a star for me. Wanton soup was delicious. Its a small mom and pop shop. So agian its small and a bit hidden. That itself brings charm. The place could use a bit better lighting or maybe decoration? Other then that delicioso
Great place to chill and have a great meal.
Really enjoyed the drunken noodles. We also got a couple sushi rolls that were good.

There’s something different about this sushi restaurant compared to the other sushi restaurants in Tampa. Been here twice and both times the food is perfect. It’s our new favorite sushi spot.
Awesome place. Great vegetarian options. Owner and head chef is awesome and very receptive. Excellent service.
Delicious food, wonderful customer service! The owner came and made sure everything was delicious and we really appreciated that!
I absolutely loveeeee this place, a family owned restaurant filled with love and great delicious food.
Amazing service and always feels like home.
They also have great lunch deals. Don’t miss out!!!
I love coming here and I highly highly highly recommend .
Nice place, great sushi rolls. Def will be back.
This was not today, but it is the last time I ate here. I found myself in North Dale Mabry, and was struggling to find a place with good reviews to eat at 4.5 stars, and up. Saw this place, but they weren't opening for about 30 mins. It was 10 minutes away, so I drove, and waited 20 minutes for them to open. I was one of the first customers, and it seemed like they're was some kind of problem. Kitchen is yelling at the manager, manager at the kitchen. Seems like they had stuff, but it wasn't prepped before opening. I had to wait a long time for my food. Manager said it's because they just opened, and the fire wasn't hot yet, or something like that. I'm, but I'm being patient, and passing time looking at the reviews, and pictures. I get my food, and the teriyaki sauce on my fish is burnt making everything bitter. They rest of the food is mediocre, and forgettable. The best part of it was the salad dressing. The manager did offer to have them remake it, but since most of it was bland, and I had a long drive to make I declined. He said when I was ready to pay he would take care of me. Taking care of me was giving me 10% off my bill. That was an insult considering I had no alcohol, one soda, and simple bento box. The waitress was okay, and little annoying, but I'd rather be checking on too frequently, than not enough. I tipped her cash for 50% of what the bill was. I think I tipped on the card also just to negate his insult of a discount.
I’m taking a break from eating my lunch while at this wonderful restaurant to let everyone know to come try this place out! The service and food are both 5 stars!
Everyone working here is so attentive and kind. Elijah is a great server!
The food is delicious and all the ingredients were very, very fresh. We over ordered because we wanted to try a variety of dishes. The basil chicken and panang curry (spice level 3) were super satisfying. The fresh rolls and spring rolls were made to order. We couldn’t decide which was tastier so you’ll have to order both! We tried the sushi and again it was fresh and full of unique flavors. I also loved the house salad with ginger dressing. It’s a simple dish but, again, it was fresh & crisp and the dressing so very tasty.
I’m really impressed by this place and will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. I’ll see you there!
One of my go-to’s in Tampa! The sushi, appetizers, and entrees are all great. We love sitting by the sushi bar and chatting with the owner. He always recommends dishes based on your preferences and can always make customized options. They often have off menu specials as well. Highly recommend!
Omg this place this amazing delicious food and amazing service will definitely be. Coming back!
I've been coming here for a few years now and I don't plan on stopping. The sushi is always fantastic, especially if you love tuna! The Thai dishes never disappoint and if my significant other would let me I'd probably eat here 4 times a week. They recently added a few new things on the menu including Chili Momos 🤤 which were delicous and for some of you spicy lovers (or non spicy) you can choose how hot you want them. Roger and his team always do a good job and you'll never leave hungry.

This place is for my money the greatest value to quality restaurants in all of tampa. Their lunch special is phenomenal and every single thing we’ve ordered has been so flavorful. Their chicken pad thai is our go to but in our five visits we’ve tried several of their sushi rolls (their yellowtail is delicious) and almost all of their noodle dishes and have yet to be disappointed. The owner and his family and incredibly kind and I hope nothing but success for them as they welcome us warmly every time we visit. If you want fantastic asian food at great prices while supporting a small business please eat here!!! (btw their mango sticky rice is the best i’ve ever had)
Support local owned business and they will support you! This is our favorite Sushi spot. Roger the owner is so warm and welcoming. My favorite go to for Thai food and seaweed salad
Super experience atmosphere is very relaxing food was amazing the waitresses were nice and fast

We have been here a few times now, stopped in randomly when we were in the area and we now drive 30 mins out of our way to come here! Food is amazing, staff is always welcoming and go above and beyond! As someone who worked in the service industry for over 10 years I know quality when I see it! Bravo 👏
Amazing place for a japanese dinner or lunch
Amazing meal. Had multiple different rolls, salmon tataki (a must have), and hot mama roll.
Food was fresh, service very attentive and owner and his brother-in-law were very hospitable. Great recommendations given and various dishes explained. Best place I've found in Tampa for Asian cuisine.
Must haves: Salmon tataki, phenomenal.
Visiting the area and stopped in with my mom for dinner. I was really surprised by how good of an experience it was, the resturant is quaint but has rolls and sashimi as good as anywhere I’ve been to in the States. We sat at the counter and the chef’s were absolutely great to talk with and had fantastic recommendations. The staff were all super friendly and the attentiveness was a refreshing experience, drinks were delivered quickly after ordering and refills/plate clearings were done with a comfortable cadence as the diner. I can’t speak to the non-sushi options but if you’re in the mood for sushi, this is the place!
Kiki is great. Food is amazing. Staff is wondeful. Will be returning. Highly recommend!
I wasn’t a big fan of the flavor in the eggplant dish, but the other dish (Duck in Coconut Red Curry) was great. We didn’t order sushi, so I can’t speak to that aspect. Initially, I was impressed at how friendly and kind the waiter was. He was really thorough explaining the menus. However, he then messed up our order and one dish was completely forgotten. I guess there was confusion when I gave the order for everyone. They placed the order after we noticed the error and it was out relatively quickly, but still. I was done with my dish and left waiting for the others to finish theirs since their dish came out late. Our waters were also left empty for quite a bit of time before he noticed and asked to refill.
However, my biggest complaint is the staff not limiting a clearly very intoxicated person from drinking more. They arrived drunk and were still served more. They were obnoxiously loud in such a small restaurant and yelling profanities left and right loudly. It was blatantly obvious she was drunk and spilled her drink multiple times and broke a glass. I couldn’t even hear the conversation at my own table over her. But I sure as heck can tell you her entire life story from her college days down to her parents marital problems. Your staff needs to be better trained to handle situations like these. God forbid she drives home like that. I couldn’t wait to get out of there for some peace and quiet. It’s a restaurant, not a bar.
My daughter and I used to eat here when they first opened and food was always good, recently she got a job working as a server so it caused me to go back and the food was still pretty good. She enjoyed working there other than the fact that the owner and his wife’s maturity level wasn’t where it should be as grown adults and restaurant owners/managers. She had no issues with them when she first started but as soon as they found out she was expecting their attitude towards her definitely changed for the worst, sadly she was let go but not properly. Roger, the owner, sent her a message, which was VERY unprofessional in my opinion, saying that she will no longer be needed due to “not enough shifts”. She’s been working there since April and recently one of the servers came back which dropped her schedule from 5 days to 2 days, but if you ask Roger he’ll say it was because she had “too many” doctors appointments. Being told this she didn’t complain and she still went in with a smile on her face. As a supervisor he should’ve spoken to her in person but her last 2 days there he spoke not a word to her. I rate the service 1 star but not because of the servers but because of the owner himself. Won’t be going back or recommending this place to anyone I know!

I have been going here for years! Love the atmosphere, staff, service, and the food is so good! If you haven’t been please do yourself a favor and check it out. Will not regret. 10/10 recommend.
Mediocre atmosphere, okay tasting food at best.
Favorite sushi place. They actually get good quality fresh fish and have specialty cuts some days
Amazing food! Sushi and the sushi and sashimi boat was great. Service was also amazing. Totally recommend the tempura cheesecake
Wow, amazing thai food - duck and thai tea are awesome.
We order from this place constantly. And they never ever disappoint! The staff is always super friendly too!
Local favorite. Always prefer the family owned places, Ahi is my go-to on the Tampa side. Fresh, tasty fish, creative rolls, exemplary service.
The sushi is ok for the price. Not the best spot in northdale tho. This would probably be my 3rd choice
Delicious and fresh. Fried rice and spring roll w/ sauce outstanding.
The food is great, specially the sashimi, they are alway fresh. The thai food is good too. I been here 3 times already and never been disappointed. Their lunch menu is different from weekend and week day FYI. We got potsticker, steam dumpling, 3 lunch dishes (those included miso and eggroll) and wonton soup. And try out their thaitea. For the area the prices are good.
Great rolls, great price. Tom Kha Soup is incredible!
Great fresh sushi!
The place is beautiful on the inside and it is a real sushi restaurant with an expert sushi chef, and a menu with rolls to die for. We also ate appetizers and a delicious noodle dish called Drunken noodles. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Asian food…sushi, Thai, Japanese. Favorite roll was Ceviche Roll but we also really loved the Alexander and the Volcano roll. All I can say is go here. The waiter was excellent, very professional, five stars and more for Pedro. Ahi was a wonderful choice for Valentines dinner and will be again for other celebrations!
I Love Love Love this place only sushi spot i will go to around the area. Everyone is so nice, food is great, no wait time to be seated, the spicy mayo is Bomb! And the prices you cant beat!
Best Thom Kha I've had. Excellent Sushi.
Great food, great service, highly recommended.
Amazing restaurant! We ordered the pad thai and a few rolls. They are gluten friendly, have many gluten free sauces and even offered to change some rolls to be gluten friendly for my girlfriend with gluten intolerance. Pad thai was delicious and the fish was fresh, they even offered to fry the tofu in corn starch for us. Will come back!!!
Outstanding quality and a wide variety of flavourful options. Wonderful atmosphere and service. So glad we finally tried it and will definitely be back regularly.
Food was really yummy , lovveeddd the uptown rolls and miso soup!
We're in town from NC and searched for the highest rated sushi in the area. Ahi popped up and so glad it did. We ordered to go. The sushi was delish and so we're the appetizers (esp the crab Rangoon). Definitely will go back!
I was very impressed with the quality of the food. We tried the sushi and the two Thai entrees. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to return. Happy to have a go to for both sushi and Thai!
Stopped in on a Friday for lunch and sat at the sushi bar. I ordered a pot of hot green tea. Miso soup and the Toro roll. OMG - incredible food! Fresh toro, melted in my mouth and the roll was huge! The 2 sushi chefs were super friendly and engaging if I engaged them, which I love. And the customers that frequent this place were at the sushi bar and rave about it! How about an Alaskan Roll? Yum! Best sushi I’ve had in a long time! I’ll be back!
One of my favorite local sushi places, very tasty and the owner is also one of the sushi chefs.
Hands down the best sushi spot in Tampa !!!! The owner is very welcoming and friendly.
Owner and staff were super nice and served a great meal! Not over priced at all.
Me and my family came here for the first time tonight, it's a small place they have a little bar you can eat at a watch them make sushi. We felt extremely welcomed the entire time! Our server Pedro explained everything to us and was SO attentive. Everything we ate was homemade and tasted just like it!! The prices were very cheap for the taste and quality of the food! In total we spent 56$ for wonton soup, 4 sushi rolls, and pad tai. We will be coming back and we HIGHLY suggest this place
Love all the options here! Thai & Sushi are my favs so I love having both in one spot. This is our second time at Ahi and this time we went sushi-only (last time was sushi + thai). My only gripe is the kani salad is just a broken up crab stick on top of lettuce and a sauce on the side :( Everything else is spectacular! Definitely recommend and will be coming back🩷
Great Thai and Asian bistro. It's in a nice little shopping center very clean and great service. Food was excellent and definitely affordable. Definitely trying another this year again.
Stopped in for lunch and hot tea. Food was amazing, service was as amazing go see Didi (sp?) we indulged in rolls too. Excellent find!
This is my favorite sushi place. Fresh, delicious, authentic, affordable. The chef makes his own soy sauce which is the most delicious I’ve ever had.
Our favorite and go to option - favorite dishes: pad Thai, cashew chicken and Thai fried rice. The staff is always polite and take out orders are always prepared properly.
Very nice place. Ate there for the first time tonight. Great service and good food. I will definitely be going back. Thank you.
Amazing sushi with large portions. Riger and Ken are great. They have Riyo's cookbook. Try the Chop Chop! Possibly the best sushi in Tampa.
Great food and service. Rodger is the best very personable and makes great rolls. They have great lunch specials too
Great little spot for date night. Sushi is always fresh and flavorful, toro melts in your mouth. Crab Rangoon is the best I’ve ever had. Staff is very friendly. The owner who’s also one of the sushi chefs always greets everyone and asks about your experience. 5 stars across the board!!
I cannot get enough of their food! The sushi is so fresh, delicious and beautifully made each time I visit. The customer service here is top notch and they make you feel at home with their kindness.
Trent was a great at serving us. Very attentive!
Unbelievable restaurant, delicious, clean and very good services. I will definitely be coming back
Great spot that offers both Japanese and Thai food. We really enjoyed the pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Food came out quickly and great service. Good drink specials all day every day. I’m sure we will be back!
Some the best sushi in Tampa! The other food on the menu is great too. Never had a bad meal here.
Top sushi place in town always fresh fish even tuna from Japan these guys are sushi pro must eat if in the area and you enjoy sushi
We went for dinner for the first time and it was fantastic! The service was great and the food was delicious. We had a couple of apps, a sushi roll, and an entree. All we’re great! I wish I would have come in here sooner! Can’t wait to go back.
They have the best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had! Everything seems good! But the one thing that I love is that beef stew noodle soup it has soo much flavor it is incredible!
Everything was good and the sushi was delicious this place is a must try
Sushi boat was amazing and very filling, and it took 15-20 minutes to prepare. Thai tea was good. Recommend the crab rangoon. You can actually taste crab, and they are perfectly lightly fried. The only complaint was I disliked the salad dressing, but it's a personal preference (like a peanut sauce, especially for those with allergies). Will absolutely return when in the area.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Don't forget to tip your sushi chefs, too!
Aubiance = simple
Wine = yummy
Sushi = best I’ve found in Tampa
Sevice = very good
It’s a must go IMO
I tried this place because of the reviews. This place is a rip off, I don't normally leave reviews but the portion of the food for what I paid is truly disappointing, and actually quite disrespectful, the sushi not impressed at all! I will never go back. 🤷♀️ The 2 stars are for service.
Nice spot, food was very good, staff was very friendly
Absolutely love this place. 10/10 would recommend.
This place is so good! We have gotten take out from here twice-a total of eight different dishes and they have all been incredible. Great service too. Can’t wait to dine in!
Ordered pickup, 'give us 20 minutes' forty minutes later still waiting on my meal. Don't waste my time.
Food was mediocre for the price.
Disappointing for the price. We got 2 entrees (pad Thai & pad kee mow), both had overcooked noodles that were stuck to each other. It seemed like eating mushy noodles tossed in a tiny bit of sauce.
The sauce was barely there. They did get the heat right for pad kee mow, but there wasn't much other flavor.
The place was clean, but they were off by more than 10 minutes from the estimated pickup time for order.
Quickly became my favorite sushi spot. The Alexander roll is amazing!
Absolutely love this spot! It was our first time coming here and the service and food was incredibly delicious. Everyone is so sweet and the food was immaculate. Will be coming this way more often.
Not worth all the hype-Overpriced.
I'm a first timer here but will definitely be back. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff very friendly. I ordered take out of an appetizer and main course. Appetizer was coconut shrimp...cooked to perfection and well balanced in flavors...loved them! The main course was eggplant with stir fry vegetables and basil. It was generally good. It could have used more basil. Since I didn't eat it till I got home the eggplant seemed a little over cooked. It was very good though. I definitely will be returning to try their sushi and more dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I usually never right reviews but this place deserves it. I have been here many times and it is always amazing. The owner Roger and staff always make sure you are well taken care of. Kenny and PJ are amazing sushi chefs that often create speciality rolls if asked. Top notch food and service
I have ordered from this place several times, when you specify something in your order; it is best that you call and remind them about it.., they don't seem to care for your instructions 😕
Love the fresh sushi price is great.
Karlina was better than the food.
Definitely a home run at this joint! Hubby and I were looking for a place to go for date night and thankfully stumbled upon Ahi Asian. We were seated quickly and served our drinks right away. The server was friendly and our food came out really fast. The sushi was fresh and my husband enjoyed his pad Thai. Definitely will be coming back again soon!
Staff is friendly, though understaffed, they were cheerful enough to make it Worth it,. As for the taste the sushi is fresh there is just not many flavors to choose from and after having a couple of rolls it starts to taste the same
The main Thai dishes with curry and different flavor were allot better with more flavor
We eat here all of the time, especially the sweet potato sushi. We love everything we have tried and if it is not in the menu they will make it for you. The service is fast and friendly and the price is not bad either. We will go back.
Awesome sushi. Best deal in town.
I am in LOVE with this place!! Their food/sushi is amazing, the atmosphere and music is relaxing, and the service is awesome. For those that know they offer Toro rolls as a special which taste insanely good. Some other favorites are the ceviche roll and the gyoza, and the other pork dumplings. The people that run this place know what they are doing . Fresh fish, they serve the good ginger. This place makes me happy, I’ve been here 4 times already and will continue to come back … HIGHLY recommend
I love this restaurant! Their food is so delicious, and they have wonderful, friendly service! I can depend on my orders to be delicious every time! Highly recommend.
Delicious food, great value, good drink selection, great service. One of our favorite spots
Pretty good hidden spot. Quiet 🤫 able good, fresh 🍣 sushi
A hidden gem with an Asian Thai fusion of deliciousness! The freshest sushi and ingredients, bar none! Ability to customize items listed on menu and create your own is just one of the many pros, dining at Ahi Asian Bistro. Exceptional service; Pedro was our amazing, accommodating and friendly server! Owner (Roger) stopped at our table a few times while dining to ensure that food met our expectations and if we needed anything.
Roger and Staff, EVERYTHING EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS (Fresh ingredients, quality of service, price, menu variety, customization, dessert,…)!!!!!
Thank you so much for a tasty, and amazing dinner!
We will see you all soon!!
Best, Jeff, Desiree and Cade
Great food great service. Very nice and accommodating
Delicious!!!!!!!! What great food.if I could give 100 stars i would!
So amazing we went back today!
Excellent sushi! Happy to have discovered this place, will def be back.
Amazing g food, & great service. Ken is a phenomenal chef... thank you for a wonderful experience Ken!
Outstanding food, fair prices. I try to eat here at least once a week.
Everything was very tasty and priced well. Owner was very friendly and funny! Their all day specials are awesome! We will absolutely be back
Love this place. Sushi is so delicious. Pedro the waiter is awesome!
Best sushi in Tampa
Great sushi , very good prices and the all day $5.50 rolls are a great deal.
My favorite meal in Carrollwood! Always happy to enjoy a meal from Ahi.
We LOVE this place. The staff is always super friendly and the sushi is amazing. A great experience all the way around.
Amazing food and service
Amazing food and drinks. Lots of variety and great portions. Definitely will go back.
I stopped by here on a Wednesday during lunch. I just needed something light so I ordered a sweet potato roll. However, I wanted to try something new and had their green papaya salad. It was soooo delicious. I ordered with a spice level of mild but I feel like this dish can take heat so I will probably do hot next time.
Update to my original review: I visited from 4 months ago. I did visit again on March 3rd, 2022. I had a Thai salad with duck, uni, and anago. Oh my!! The uni just melted in my mouth. Soy sauce with the anago was the perfect blend of umami. The duck also did not disappoint super tasty, crunchy but not over cooked. This spot is everything!!
My husband and I visited this little store front restaurant for the first time. Delicious sushi and Tom yum soup. Pedro was our server and was superb! Very enjoyable and relaxing! Cannot wait to try some of their Thai offerings
Amazing people and great food!
Amazing sushi, highly recommend this whole in the wall.
New to the area and looking for a great authentic Thai restaurant. Well I found the restaurant. The Masssman curry was delicious don't let thin sauce scare you away. It was full of lots of flavor. Definitely try the Thai fried rice!!!! This restaurant is open past lunch so stop in.
This is hands down the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to and I've been to more than I can count. Roger and his team are always so friendly and personable, they even remember me and my allergy to cucumber. I've been coming here for what seems to be about 2 years now and I've never had anything short of a very wonderful experience.
Our favorite spot for sushi in the area! Amazing!
If you look up what is considered a Philadelphia roll, it's a salmon based roll, not crab or imitation crab. Please fix this on your menu and let your staff know because it wasn't just an error on the menu. It's concerning that they don't understand the difference between the most basic rolls. I generally don't leave bad reviews, but out of all the places I've been to (traveled a lot in my life and I eat a lot of rolls), I've never been to a restaurant that messed up their rolls like this.
Great food... friendly service!
Service was good. Don’t know name of server but he was very good & attentive. First time here. Was hoping for some good Asian fusion. We ordered wonton soup that was bland, crab rangoon was ok, hibachi with steak that had good steak, but bland veggie & noodles, and I ordered shrimp in tamarind sauce that was so sweet it was inedible and thevegis were hard & almost raw. Everyone around us was eating sushi, so maybe that is good, but don’t know and probably won’t be back.
