Experience Long Island's premiere Thai dining destination at Siam Emerald, with its chic city-like vibes and innovative Thai cuisine.
Came here on a Friday night to celebrate my cousin’s birthday and was seated right away with our reservation. The servers were all so sweet and attentive. The food was so delicious- my favorite was the larb crispy beef and crab fried rice. Truly so good! I will be coming back again because everyone was so nice and the food did not disappoint at all. Gorgeous ambiance too!
I recently had the pleasure of trying Thai food for the first time, and I’m really glad I chose Siam Emerald for my introduction to this cuisine. The restaurant itself has a beautiful, calming aesthetic — it’s quiet, cozy, and honestly feels like a great spot for a date night. Parking wasn’t too difficult to find in the area, which was a plus.
As for the food, I went with the Pad See Ew, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. The portion was filling, and the flavors were delicious! I also ordered the sticky coconut rice, which I mixed with the Pad See Ew (not sure if that’s the “proper” way to eat it, but it worked for me!). The rice had a nice sweetness that paired really well with the savory noodles.
Since it was my first time, I’m not sure if what I paid was reasonable or on the pricier side, but it felt worth it for the quality and the experience. I’m definitely open to coming back and exploring more of what Siam Emerald and the world of Thai food has to offer. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area!
Gorgeous ambiance. Felt like I was transported to a different time and place. Really loved the vibe. Perfect for a date or a celebration. We came in for a birthday and it was such a treat! Everything tasted great from the roti massaman app to the pad Thai dinner. Service was also top notch and friendly. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Can't wait to be back soon
This is a beautiful spot but that's about it. The food was average at best and lacked an authentic Thai flavor profile. The portion sizes were average but the prices were on par with Manhattan prices, which was surprising.
The Khao Kra-Pao Moo Krob was mild and not spicy and the Pad Thai was overly sweet.
The Grilled Pork Skewers were drowning in the marinade and the Roti Chicken Wrap was mainly peanut sauce smothered on chicken. Overall, the food was below par for me.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is beautiful.
That being said, I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for authentic Thai food - the taste is more catered towards an American taste palette.

This little gem is a must-visit for any Thai food lover! The perfect spot for a quick and delicious Thai meal. The Garlic Branzino was perfectly balanced with the right amount of tanginess and spice. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience delightful.
We were there for lunch yesterday and it was delicious. The restaurant decor is beautiful inside and the service was great. The food though - amazing!!! Each dish of our lunch specials was nicely presented, and absolutely delicious. I've tried so many Thai restaurants both in the city and on LI, and Siam Emerald is definitely on the top of my list now. We will definitely be back!
I have now been here on five seperate occasions and every time that we have had their food we have never been disappointed. I personally love the drunken noodles off their lunch menu. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. I can't wait to go again 😋
Good option for Thai! I expected a bit higher spice level based on other restaurants I've tried but the flavor was on point. Great customer service and beautiful decor
I went on Feb 13,2025 to dine in with my friend. I was offered to see the $69 prefix menu, it came with 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees with a rose. When my bill arrived I noticed I had to pay $69 for each person. This is misleading, I could have just ordered without the $69. If I had ordered the same food off the normal menu , would have cost me less than $100. I wish I can get my additional $69 back or voucher. Why would I pick the $69 if it was supposed to be for just one person.
Food was good, unfortunately, the portions are very small and not enough for an adult. Definitely over priced

i went here for the first time this weekend and this was the best thai food i ever had! the food was amazing and the staff was great. the restaurant itself is also so beautiful, with a great atmosphere. this is definitely my new go to!
The place is so beautiful the food is good The atmosphere is remarkable.
I absolutely love everything about this place the food and the service especially! Their design choice is simply killer.
Vegetable Curry Puffs are a must try for appetizers. I had the crispy duck with drunken noodles. The duck was crispy and full of flavor.

Our African Bookclub met tonight. Everyone thought the food was excellent. Our server Do was outstanding and very attentive. This was our first at restaurant.

Hidden gem of a spot, nice ambiance
Yum!
Amazing food, wonderful service and it's beautiful. Definitely going back

What an amazing experience!! Beautiful decor, friendly staff, and delicious food! We had the ginger and mango branzino as well as the khoa soi and I couldn’t recommend them enough!! The staff was also so incredibly knowledgeable and great conversation. Also parking next door which is a huge plus in RVC!
Not worth the price or the wait

Fantastic! Fresh, delicious, beautiful environment. I appreciate they also able to accommodate vegan dietary requests!
This place is amazing. Get the tea leaf salad, duck, crispy beef larb, and crab fried rice. Service is wonderful, everyone is nice, and the food is excellent. Highly recommended!
We went to Siam Emerald to celebrate a retirement and another colleague that was transitioning to another job. Everyone was so accommodating and took great care of us. We were a party of 11 and everyone was very attentive. I loved the way I received a call before to ensure that I was still coming. I had bags of items like the thank you presents and the gifts and the staff took the items to the back for me. The food was delicious. When it was time for the cake, they added the candles and the cake toppers in the perfect positions on the cake. We definitely will be back. We were made to feel welcomed.
Great service and beautiful aesthetic. I got the sizzling duck drunken noodles and my husband got regular drunken noodles with beef. The signature duck dish was amazing but I think I would get regular drunken noodles next time just because that was the dish I was expecting and it’s cheaper. Would definitely go back.
Food was delicious and the staff were great. Would def recommend
Great Experience! Food (Tom yum soup, Tiger Prawns) were great, staff was friendly/professional and the ambiance was beautiful. Will be returning! Thank you for amazing customer service!
Was on my list to taste the food. Beautiful.
The food, service, and atmosphere are just perfect! I couldn't get enough of the delicious Roti Massaman - it was bursting with flavor. The fried chicken appetizer was cooked to perfection, and the green curry had just the right amount of spicy flavor. And let me tell you, the Khao Soi was the warm comfort I needed. I highly recommend this place!
The service was also wonderful! The servers were attentive and welcoming. This is my new favorite Thai spot.
This place is amazing. Great food, decor and service. Today was my first time there and I give it a 10/10. Will be back for sure!
I love finding new Thai restaurants as it’s my favorite cuisine! The ambiance is welcoming with its beautiful greenery decor with a gorgeous bar that seats 6.
The food is delicious with incredible presentation. The tuna tartar cups are so cutely presented! They have a great selection of classic thai dishes & signature entrees. The Sizzling Duck Drunken noodles are a must 😋
Food is delicious! Love the green curry. And the coconut pudding for desert. Oliver is an amazing waiter. Overall an excellent place.
Food was amazing very friendly staff
Siam Emerald is brightly decorated offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Standouts include the flavorful skewers, crispy roti with curry, and perfectly fried whole branzino. Spice levels can be adjusted to suit your preference, making it a great choice for everyone. While they don't have a full bar, they boast an impressive wine list and unique soju cocktails. The restaurant is owned by Thai natives, ensuring an authentic culinary experience.
Excellent food and service
It is by far the best Thai food I have ever had! The ambiance and vibe is chic and romantic. Beautiful display of food and also decor. We had the mango margarita and Sangria to start with- delicious and flavors are well balanced.
For appetizer you must must must order the Tuna flower. It is not only gorgeous, but the crispy tart compliments the tuna and lime perfectly. My mouth is watering right now as I type. We also got the tea salad, chicken and pork satay, and spring rolls which are all delicious!!
Entrees are such good and generous portion. We had the crispy duck with drunken noodle. The duck legs are crispy and noodles are so flavorful with the sauce on sizzling plate. The crispy branzino was so crispy on the outside and soft inside. Crabshell fried rice and also crab fried rice were so delicious even my senior father who is picky with his food was complimenting it none stop. The crab meat were huge lumps and so fresh.
We didn’t think we had room for dessert but the mango sticky rice is a must order if it’s available. They use the best mango that is sweet and fragrant.
Overall it was a feast for the eye and the mouth. This is a restaurant we would come back again and again to try all the items!
I'll start by saying I've spent time in Thailand, so I can recognize authentic Thai flavors. There are some decent Thai restaurants on Long Island. But the flavors are modified for an American palette, unfortunately. Siam Emerald, however, has PURE, authentic flavors. It's a night and day difference. The quality of their food is on par with the best Thai restaurants you'll try in Queens and Manhattan. If you like Thai food, you have to make it a point to try this place. Their Green Curry and Panang Curry dishes are amazing. They also have Khao Soy, which originates from Chiang Mai. Most Thai restaurants in the US don't make it. And when they do, it isn't quite right. This one is perfect.
I also love what they did with the decor and ambiance. My wife and I love going here. I hope other people will appreciate them, too so they can last a long time.
I give this restaurant a 5 star for all the categories. I really enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere and the staff were very friendly.
The options on the menu are pretty good. Will definetely go back.
This was the first time we went here and will be going back. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The food came out quickly and every dish was delicious. The appetizer pork squewers were fantastic and the massaman curry was so good. I look forward to trying their other dishes.
The first time we came here and we loved it. Surely, I will come back again. The service was good, and the foods that we ordered were perfectly tasty. The places are nice, clean, and welcoming.
We came back and tried another dish. I even tried the lychee tea, crispy branzino fish garlic, and hung lay. So good. The nice lady did a good job assisting us with our orders and needs.
The chicken khao soi was pretty great! Super flavorful, chicken wasn’t dry, and noodles were great. Only complaint is that I didn’t order more!
The curry was so amazing as well. I ordered on Uber Eats but am going to have to visit the restaurant sometime as well!
Prices were fair and they packaged everything to prevent things from spilling/getting soggy. No complaints!
Ordered lunch takeout on a Saturday. Food was ready fast and the restaurant looked busy. Delicious Thai food, it’s hard to find a Thai place within driving distance of me that REALLY hits the spot in flavor and options. The prices are worth the quality and portions. This was a 30 min drive round trip but worth it.
Edit. Came here a second time. Still hit the spot for modern Thai. Will be back
Tasty delicious authentic thai food. 2nd time eating from here and I am so pleased! It’s hard to find a place that actually makes the food spicy upon request rather than giving you hot sauce on the side. I love spicy! Please keep the authenticity of your ingredients and you have a customer for life!
SO DELICIOUS THANK YOU
Some of the best thai food I’ve ever had. My husband loved his dish too and said that he wants to come back and he doesn’t usually like thai food.
Tried this Thai restaurant in RVC. Nice, quaint vibes! Staff were super friendly & attentive! No cocktail list, however they can make run of the mill mojitos, martinis with saki & Sochi bases. The food was good, I’ve had way better. The chicken wings & roti were my top items. Overall it was a nice experience !
Amazing all around, the music just loud enough. The service is exemplary. Personal attention given to everyone. Felt, homey. And the food...was...is delicious.
A welcome new addition to the neighborhood. Food and service were top-notch, favorite Thai spot in RVC!
I came here last week and loved it! The ambiance is beautiful, this restaurant is decorated so beautifully! The drinks were amazing! I had the sangria and the lychee martini, both were made perfectly! For appetizers, I got the tuna flower and scallop croquettes, The food was also really good, I had the tiger prawns, the Thai fried rice with shrimp, and the crispy branzino mango! I had the coconut pudding for dessert, which was made very well!
Sorry to say it, but this resturant shouldn’t be 4.9 rating at all. This is a 3.5 at best. Tuna flowers tasted liked canned tuna… pad thai was just okay. Tofu was a little chewy.
Duck curry sauce is really tasty , drunken noodles is really good. Ambiance is really nice , reserve in advance. Drinks could have been stronger. Service was excellent!
Very good Thai food for Long Island. Lunch special is good deal.
Delicious food ! Good vibes! 8 entrees we ordered Thai flavorful food except shrimp entree was disappointing — 6 shrimp on shredded kale (emerald goong Ma-Kham) not worth the money, otherwise seafood paella/ branzino garlic/duck drunken noodles/ khao moo dang moo Keon everything was delicious 😋
One of the best Thai locations around! I haven't had this level of Thai since I lived on San Fran. Everything was delicious and the service was very good. Also, atmosphere was inviting and modern. We had the drunken noodle duck, mango salad, spring roll, and Khua Kling. Everything was delicious!
Siam Emerald certainly is a gem. So it is aptly named. I was there on a chilly rainy night, and the place was almost packed, and rightfully so, with customers coming in for takeout also. The restaurant is lovely, with vines hanging down densely from the ceiling as well as some straw covered fixtures. It looks and feels so tropical. So the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is just as good. The Tum Yum soup was delicious with just enough spice and not too much. It was a flavor rich broth with shrimp and vegetables. I had the tamarind duck, and it was scrumptious. Another diner had the other duck dish on the menu and was knocked out because she couldn't get over how good it was. The two owners looked after the customers and made certain everything was okay. I can't wait to go back again.
As an Executive Chef, I can honestly recommend this beautiful restaurant, the owner is very visible and works on the floor, he cares about the quality of the foods and guests satisfaction, the foods are very fresh, flavorful/ tasty and honest!
Beautiful traditional flavors and service.
I almost forgot the superb service is as fast and as kind as in 3 star Michelin restaurants! And I work in those restaurants…
I don’t often leave reviews on places, only when they are exceptional! Siam Emerald was listed as a new hot spot in town and I can see why! The atmosphere was inviting and unique the dish presentation was incredible but most importantly our service from Lee was incredible! She took time with us and explained dishes to us what they consist of and checked in on us regularly. The beer selection was delicious. Overall the price was surprisingly modest given the amount of food and attention to detail.
Give this place a go if you are in RVC. It’s north of the main strips so you may not even know this great place is in town!
Ambiance and service are spot on. Unfortunately the chicken satay was dry and the shrimp on a bed of kale lacks sufficient sauce
Hey, guess what? I had the most amazing experience at this new Thai restaurant the other day! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I decided to check it out. Seriously, everything was beyond good. I mean, the crab fried rice? It was absolutely top notch! And let's not even get started on the papaya salad. Oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Trust me, you gotta try this place. You won't be disappointed! And dont forget to order the tuna flowers :)
Food is prepared to suit the American palate. Most dishes are too sweet. Place was full which is a good sign. I wish them the best.
I was blown away from the change of interior. I used to go to the thai restaurant that used to be at this location all the time. The new owners completely gutted and renovated the place and it is so modern chic and gorgeous. Anytime i go to a new thai restaurant i always need to get their pad thai and thai ice tea 1st to know if i want to come back again. Well i most definitely be coming back. The thai ice tea was fantastic! Not overly sweet. Just perfection. I was worried about not being able to get good pad thai anymore, once the former restaurant closed. But im happy to report that the pad thai is just as good, if not better!!
Service was so accommodating and on top of everything. Constant refills. Always checking up to make sure everything was good. Very quick to clean up. My husband wasn't a fan of his dish at first, but they were happy to remake the dish without the fish sauce. Afterwards, he was happy. It was good! They were so sweet to accommodate the change.
The atmosphere is definitely a nice date night spot. Very chic and intimate. The bar is gorgeous. The drinks are beautifully made. The food is beautifully plated as well.
Note that this place no longer has a back entrance point, so park on the street, or the parking lot adjacent to Greek town. You can park at the parking lot in the back but you will have to walk over to enter through the smaller parking lot (adjacent to greek town) to get to the front entrance.
Great new place , food and staff were wonderful. Definitely will be going back.
What a great restaurant. The ambience is so nice. The service was great. I had the Khua Kling Ground Chicken which was minced chicken sauteed with a Southern Thai-style yellow curry chili paste, kaffir lime leaves, Thai herbs and spices, served with a side of jasmine rice (spicy). It was very good. I had mild spicy. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse cake. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was just ok, Tom Yum Goong had bell peppers which is weird and not really authentic, the bell pepper had a strong taste in the soup. Papaya salad was also just ok.
Nice decor. Very city like. Staff were nice. We did take out first but are very happy with the food. Spring rolls excellent. We’ll be back!
There’s a brand new Thai Restaurant in RVC and it’s called Siam Emerald and it’s great! 😋
My BFF Ann put me on to this spot and I invited my friend Julia along to try them out.
First off this place is a vibe. The green and gold colors with the earthly decor is GIVING Emerald City! The staff is super friendly and inviting (a must if you have a business in Rockville Centre).
We had the 3 course lunch special that comes with appetizer, soup and entrée . We both had the Tom Yum Soup and Spring Rolls. The soup had a nice kick and lemongrass blend and the spring rolls were cooked well and served with a nice Thai Dipping Sauce.
For my entrée , I had the shrimp pad Thai . It was saucy and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I asked for pepper flakes on the side and took it to a new level. Next time I’ll just ask for medium-spicy.
Julia had the beef Pad See Ew. She said it was great!
We both had the lychee Thai Iced Tea and was fantastic.
We skipped desert, but next time.
Can’t wait to go back and try some other items in the menu. If you’re in the mood for some Thai Food. Give Siam Emerald a visit!
What can I say besides WOW. What a stunning experience
This restaurant is beautifully decorated with the floral vines on ceiling it feels like you are eating in middle of the rainforest.
Perfect experience as we got there little early for a 6PM reservation but they had our table waiting for us.
Regarding service the Wait staff was so on point never once did I have to ask for more water or change of plates as they were on look out for empty glasses and dishes that needed to be changed. Well run and trained when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Food and Drinks!! The Butterfly Lemonade was absolutely delicious and such a cute color of purple wished I had taken a picture. For sure I would say try this if you go. Also tried the lychee Thai Tea that my spouse had would highly recommend that as well. Food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly . As this was our first time we tried a few different apps and shared mains so we know what to get next time.
Everything was so good I really don’t know what to order next time as it’s too hard to pick only one. But I’ll mention a few options. The Salad was sooo good wish I had taken one to go. And the chicken massaman curry dish that I ordered was on point.
Nice to see a new restaurant start off great.
Do yourself a favor and give it a try
Siam Emerald offers an amazing Thai dining experience with a remarkable ambiance. The menu features classic dishes like Pad Thai, but also includes more uncommon dishes such as soft shell crab. The portions for each dish are generous and their presentation is amazing. I would highly recommend the Tuna Flowers and the Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice.
This is a new Thai restaurant in Long Island called "Siam Emerald". I'm a native Thai and I can guarantee that the taste is authentic. This is the same taste you will be experiencing when you are in Thailand. The restaurant specializes in authentic Northern Thai food. I went there for lunch and started with the Appetitezer called "Tuna Flowers", they use a dice tuna mixed with lime, roasted rice and fish sauce served on a cracker which is very tasty. If you like "Larb" (Thai-ESarn food), you are definitely going to love this menu! Good presentation for this menu too, I would recommend it!
Next one is the Chicken Satay, I love the peanut sauce and "Ajard Sauce" which is a mixture between sweet and sour. Chicken is a little thick and I wish it had a little smoke from wood on the chicken that would make this dish perfect but overall, this is a good menu with authentic sauce. It is not perfect but definitely a good choice too!
The last appetizer is Papaya's salad. Wow, this is real street food and it is very authentic! The way the green crispy fresh papaya salad chopped is exactly the same you can find at Thailand street food. The taste is also authentic and you can adjust the level of spiciness. Very refreshing!
On the main dish, I got Kung Ma Kam Emerald, This is just wow, a tamarind sauce which gives a sweet and sour get along really well with a crispy shrimp. When you eat it with Kale, that is even tastier! I would recommend this menu.
The last one is Nam Prik Ong, this dish is a Thai Northern style that you won't find regularly in another Thai restaurant in NY. This dish is simple but the best with the dipping vegetables. I would definitely recommend this menu too.
Overall this place has a lot of interesting menus. A fine dining restaurant where you can come to enjoy the food or have it with some beer, cocktails or whiskey. The bar looks fabulous and I'm definitely going to come back to taste more of the menu!
As long as I heard this was a newly opened Thai restaurant, I had this eager feeling to try it out. The Thai food here is simply fantastic! The vibe is welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. I tried the chicken wings as a starter, it is unexpectedly DELICIOUS. I loved how the chicken wings are crispy inside while it is glazed with amazing sauce. I also ordered Crispy Branzino Garlic as an entry. They had crunchy garlic over the fried fish. As I cut off one piece of fish and dipped in the Green sauce they put it on the side (I really can’t tell how they make the sauce but I just LOVE it soooo much!!), I put it in my mouth and totally amazed by that! Other than that, the portions were generous, and the fresh ingredients made a noticeable difference. For a delightful Thai dining experience, Siam Emerald is a definite go-to spot!
It was wonderful! The food and service were great and the ambience was even better. The owner Sandy went above and beyond!
Wow!! beautiful restaurant nice and clean . All food we order very yummy i love the drink. Service was excellent. This is the best Thai food in Long Island .
One of top 10 must-to-go places if you live in LI. loved it.
The best Thai food I've had in a long time. The inside of this restaurant is an aesthetic dream!
Not to mention the staff is amazing, friendly, efficient, and the food surpasses a 10/10. The tuna flowers starter is light, fresh, and full of flavor. My guest and I shared the Emerald Goong Ma-Kham & Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice along with a bottle of wine. Both of these entrees were delicious. I cannot wait to return!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siam Emerald, and I must say it was an exquisite experience that transported me straight to the heart of Thailand. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable meal.
Thank you so much Noah for your amazing costumer service and attentiveness during my lunch experience. It was delicious every thing from menu was great 👍 especially Tuna Flowers, chicken satay, tamarind shrimp, were so tasty. The ambience inside of the restaurant was stunning. Must try 👍
Beautiful place to eat and meet with friends and family. Interior is wonderful and food was delicious. It looked very pretty too.
The servers were e too. They recommended us wit food and preferences.
Highly recommend the “Emerald Goong Ma-Kham” is my favorite and one of the signature dishes and “Crab fried rice” it came with 2 soft shell crab which is pretty good and the price is reasonable and not too expensive.
Amazing new Thai restaurant with a beautiful interior. The tiger prawns with the tamarind sauce, the soft shell crab fried rice, and the fried (deboned) branzino were all amazing! Wonderful spot for date night or even a casual dinner out. Food and service were out of this world.
I had an excellent dinner at Siam Emerald. Food was fresh and amazingly tasty. I had taro spring rolls for an appetizer. OMG The spring rolls were absolutely delicious. I tried drunken noodles with chicken as a main and this was SUPER PERFECT! I would highly recommend. Thank you.
P.S. The atmosphere was TERRIFIC!
