My wife and I have not eaten here so I cannot say anything about the food. We go to get Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee. We love these!! The drinks are made in cups that seal and you take with you. Straw included. If you are looking for a cold, sweet oh so good drink swing by and grab one of these drinks. They are very good and reasonably priced at around $6.

Restaurant is large and so is the menu. My server was Pookey and she was very nice and attentive. I wanted to try several dishes so I ordered the steamed dumpling, drunken noodle, and garlic pepper chicken. I liked everything. I’ll be back to try more!

Wow what a great meal. Crab Rangoon and dumplings for our appetizers, both some of the best we have had. My wife had a burger, which she enjoyed. I had the curry, it was absolutely awesome!. This is the worst food I have had in years. Sushi looks amateurish and they skimp on ingredients. We got the hibachi shrimp "dinner"....more like a light lunch but also tasted burnt. The restaurant is beautiful. They should put as much pride into the food as they did the decor.

This was an Uber Eats order, so this review is not based on a restaurant experience. Unfortunately, the entire meal arrived cold. I ordered the edible Tom Kha soup, which tasted decent after I re-heated it. The aged tofu was cold, and the breading was so soggy it was falling off, so it was not edible and gross. The Panang curry was also cold and had a gritty texture, the tofu was fried (with other Panang curry orders, it's fresh, not fried), and the broccoli was very soggy, but the flavor profile may have been better fresh. Overall, the order was displeasing. I saw on the app the driver had "multiple stops" before mine, so hopefully, this is an issue with timing and temperature and less with quality. I would try them again based on other reviews. I have one request to stop the one-time use of plastic; I had the utensils "unchecked," but it was still delivered. Let's help the planet with pollution and not give unnecessary items; thank you!

We have been here for lunch and dinner, the food has been great every time! The menu has a lot of options, and while we have not had the sushi everything else was exceptional! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!

Solid Thai offerings

This place came highly recommended by a friend, I wanted to like it I really really did. Actually, it was good when I ate it but eight hours later In the middle of the night the pad Thai left me as I was praying to the porcelain gods to make the heaving stop. Called the restaurant and let them know. They were rude and told me that they were clean and I didn’t get food poisoning from them and hung up.

Got sick from the food. Called asking for a refund, they would not. They were argumentative saying that it was not their food. After that phone call I will not be going back!

Ordered take out rolls here. Ordered 2 California, 1 dragon, and spicy salmon roll. I tried the dragon roll which I normally love it’s my go to roll, however from here it did not taste fresh and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth threw the rest away. The spicy salmon roll saved it for me it was good. However presentation and quality of the roll itself needs work. California rolls weren’t the best either. I wouldn’t order from here again as it was sub par. Cost was like$32. Take out time was 20 minutes which was accurate. This was my first time ever trying here. I didn’t like how they put the spicy salmon roll in the same container as the California rolls.

Very long wait for food. Waitress disappeared after taking and serving initial drink order. Never returned to ask about refills. Ordered appetizer that was forgotten. Manager came over to ask if we needed anything after food was eventually served. I asked for a glass of ice which never came. Overall the food was good.

Sushi is supposed to be served cold not room temperature. Server must be new. She couldn't provide any detail or recommendations about the food other than what's on the menu. Make sure to order a ramekin for your soy/wasabi otherwise your already warm sushi will wait...She was slow. Slow. Slow. I can understand why we were one of only 3 tables at prime time dinner time.

Very cute little sushi place, mixed drinks are really good for the price, an has happy hour ((can't remember how long but most of the afternoon)) Servers are very sweet!!!! And when you doordash, the way they package the mixed drinks is adorable, reminds me of a boba drink. Very affordable traditional rolls, overall one of my favorite places in Port Charlotte!!!

Ordered online and food was amazing and fresh. I ordered raw fish sushi and curry. The fish was fresh and amazing quality. When I walked in the restaurant it was impeccably clean and the front desk people were kind. Definitely will come back with more people and eat inside!

Pad Thai is my favorite Thai dish. I ordered pad Thai tonight and it was the worst meal I’ve had in recent memory. The chicken was completely without taste and the noodles tasted as though they had been poisoned. Ugh. As I am typing this I hope I don’t get sick….

We just tried this place for the first time and we loved it! Our server was fantastic and the food was great. The wife got pad Thai (as usual) and she ordered it at hotness 3 (medium). It was perfect for me… she loved the flavor but it was just a little too spicy for her. Still she couldn’t stop eating it 😂

I got the Gozilla roll which was also really good. Very big, but lots of flavor.

This is a family run establishment that does a phenomenal job of taking care of their clients. Dollar, the manager is amazing and so is her brother, they take great care of clients like they are family and they have arguably best Sushi in the area. We are picky eaters, and can honestly say continue to return not only for the food, but for the hospitable treatment. Dining in or taking out the quality is the same. They do a great job quality and presentation on both, which is commendable.

Contemporary American atmosphere with amazing service! The first place in Florida that knows what Thai hot is and doesn't dull it down for whitey. Ensure you ask that they use Thai chili if you want real hot.
The sushi rolls were delicious and were more than modest with ingredients.
Happy hour gets you a $3.25 beer.

I ordered to go lunch. I checked the contents while in my car and a small roach was on the container. Immediately walked back inside to inform the woman who just cashed me out. She first asked if it was still in there instead of an apology or a shocked reaction. She asked if I wanted another meal. I denied the offer and politely asked for my money back. She looked confused and asked how much was it? I told her I just gave you a $20 and you gave me back $6. She didn’t remember or know how much that meal was I just walked out less than 2 minutes with to my car. She went to the back to inform a worker folding silverware and he sounded like it couldn’t be a roach. Either way I was still standing at the register waiting for my change. She came back to where I was standing by the front counter and gave me $6. I told her that was the change you gave me. I am owed $14. I just don’t know why she didn’t just give me my money immediately so I could get out of that roach infested restaurant as fast as possible. She then came up with the rest of the cash out her pocket instead of the register that the money was just put into?. I know restaurants can have pests, but to be on top of my food container I was disgusted and disappointed. I ended up going to Healthy Pho which is so clean and professional. Never again will I go to this pest infested restaurant.

Thank you Kevin, for such an incredible birthday experience! Now for the food. This is, by far, some of the best sushi/Thai we have had in our collective years. My husband is still raving about the eel. My brother was patting his tummy, praising the curry as we parted ways. My sister-in-law actually ate ALL of her rolls. My dad is so excited to have his left overs tomorrow. I haven't seen these things in near 20 years. And me? I had the Tom Kah, extra super spicy and they did not let me down. Most places wave the spice over the soup and call it good. So, I asked Kevin to make me sweat. He did not disappoint! I am impressed, on every level. Even living an hour away, we will be back!!! This was the first time my wife and I went to The Chef's Thai Sushi Bar & Grill off of Forest Nelson and Tamiami in Charlotte Square.  We chose lunch and we were very pleased.  We noticed right away that the place was much larger on the inside than we had thought.  It was clean and airy and very spacious.
Our server, Chase, greeted us right away and introduced himself and explained the menu items. He was very friendly, professional and very attentive. I ordered Tom Yum (Lemon Grass) soup with chicken and specified a level 4 heat (out of 5) and was very happy that it came as a level 4.  Made me sweat and smile!  For the entrée my wife ordered the Cashew Nut with Chicken and I had the Kra Pow with Pork.  Both were delicious and there was more than enough food.
We will be back, for sure.  If you've never been here, you really should consider going there.  I am positive you will NOT be disappointed!

Had an amazing dinner tonight and we got the food to go! Ordered the steak hibachi which was absolutely incredible, tender, and cooked so perfectly!!!!! We also got sushi which was just as good, super impressive!

The waitress was prompt and attentive at first.
My wife had the Poki Bowl and I had the Pad Thai with chicken.
We came from a state that has a large Asian/Thai population so we sought out a local Thai restaurant.
As usual we test tasted each others food.
The Poki Bowl was fresh and my wife enjoyed it. I tasted the Fish and I agree it was very fresh tasting. This gives us an idea for when we will try their Sushi.
As for the Pad Thai we were both greatly disappointed in it. The thinly sliced Chicken was way overcooked and rubbery to chew. The Pad Thai itself lacked flavor and seasoning. I asked for spicy sauce non the side since my wife can't eat it. I was given a powder that looked like Tajiin and had a strong MSG taste. No Sriracha or red chili oil/paste?
In the end if we return, it would be to try their Sushi.

The atmosphere defies its strip mall location. You feel like it's a stand alone from the inside. The sushi is made fresh and is delicious. The only place I've had Thai food this good is in Thailand. I look forward to my next visit as soon as I get back to my car.

The place is very large lots of booths for comfortable seating and privacy. Be careful ordering the very spicy it’s actually very spicy me and my friends could barley eat 5 bites at a time. Luckily the drinks were great but i probably drank more than I ate.

Great food, mostly awesome staff, with great service. They have a beautiful bar inside. A pretty large restaurant to accommodate parties. As well as they have a part of the restaurant that is a sushi bar and I don't eat sushi, but it looks very good.

One of the greatest in Port Charlotte, good is always good and service is always amazing, only complaint is that sometimes it can be a bit for food to come out but always worth the wait.

So many great food items here. Order anything, you will love it.

Fantastic Thai and sushi! The absolute best we have had in SwFL! Oh my goodness the freshness and legit Thai food is amazing! If you are looking for a Thai Tea that is excellent it is here! The service is top notch!

Great sushi
Cheaper than other local sushi restaurants in the area. Giant menu.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Menu is extensive, and the meals delivered were very tasty. The portion size was excellent. Highlights were the Crab Rangoon, Sashimi, and the Drunken noodles. Drinks were well priced and cold. The service was outstanding. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food, even to the point of ensuring we were ordering the correct spice levels. I highly recommend a visit.

The best Krab Rangoon I’ve ever had. Always really good food. Every from the sushi to hibachi is always made fresh and hot. Have only ever had 1 mistake that they immediately fixed and refunded me for. Best sushi in town!

This place was really good. It was my second choice and I’m glad other place was crowded. When I parked I thought it was closed or shut down because it just look that way from the windows being all covered up. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I thought prices were regular/reasonable. Next time I will try a Thai dish. The place is pretty big and not everyone on top of each other. I would recommend.

The Phra Ram is so good we have to come in every time we come to Florida! We also enjoy the sushi rolls and saki. Highly recommend.

Good food, but my husbands water had something floating in it, he wanted a new one but nobody came to us the whole time we were there to see if everything was fine, and when i paid the bill i left the tip part empty cuz i planned to leave cash on the table, the waitress followed me back to my table with my bill that i already signed for, wanting me to put something where you write a tip amount.i told her i was leaving tip on table so she said ok and walked away. I almost didnt leave anything cuz that was so rude of her to demand i leave a tip, if i dont want to i dont have to, especially if the service was bad. Not going back here!
