Have been here several times and the young lady server always seems really annoyed and like she hates her job and hates the public. She rarely smiles and is curt. Oh and ask for a little extra salad dressing even when you’re eating in—and they’ll charge you. Also the middle tables have all their supplies and stuff on them, which looks tacky and uninviting and then they have hand written signs on other tables that basically say don’t sit here. Just uninviting and set up to please the staff, not customers. Bathroom clean though.

This place is a real hidden gem, and I really don’t like that cliché term. But this is a place that locals know and go to. It’s cozy, quiet, it’s more the food than the atmosphere - the people that run it are friendly and welcoming and the food is exceptional.

They have a large variety of sushi and sashimi including cucumber wrapped rolls, a large array of delicious, fresh & creative signature rolls. There are too many to list - check out my photos and you’ll see.

This restaurant is well worth going with friends and family and trying many of their house recipes. They also are a great carry out option. 🍣

Update: I originally gave this place 2 stars, but after seeing how they packed my to go food, I changed it to 1 star. Terrible! There is no sauce left for my vegetables because it spilled everywhere! They put something very saucy in a regular styrofoam container instead of a plastic one that had a lid. So disappointed as the sauce is what makes this dish.

Waitress is nice and competent. The sushi is beautiful, unfortunately the flavors were just okay. We came in because of the photos posted online and everything we asked for could not be made because the chef "didn't remember" what he put in them. The Ikura is definitely old as the fishy odor was very prevalent as well as the indentations in them. They were no longer a perfect roundness from being thawed too many times/left out too long. There was something in our sashimi shower that smelt weird also, not sure if it was the white fish or the imitation crab. The sashimi is served at room temperature. Hamachi and Salmon were decent, but the Tuna was awful. It was a very nice colored fish but was super dry and had no flavor. We told them and that was it. No suggestions on how to remedy the bad tuna situation. There was no offer to take it off the bill or anything to make us feel like they cared about us getting bad food in their establishment. And we weren't just trying to get a free meal by telling them. We ordered a lot for just two people, so it would have been nice for them to offer on the one dish we said was bad. Waitress is very diplomatic and well trained in customer service; she tells you exactly what you want to hear and you know you'll walk out and nothing will be done about your comments. The sushi chef was polite enough to make our sauces more tart versus sweet as we told him in the beginning that is what we preferred. The Thai food is definitely their saving grace. Much better than their sushi. We had the red curry with chicken and the eggplant basil with tofu. Unfortunately, we came mainly because of sushi/sashimi cravings and pretty food won't get us back in the door.

Good spot hidden in a strip mall that does a lot of take out. We've been many times during the week around 5 or 5:30 and hasn't been crowded at all. Huge menu, jam packed with different styles of food. Highly recommend the spring rolls as an appetizer. Pad See Ew and Pad Thai are excellent! Fresh veggies, well cooked and tasted great. Service is ALWAYS with a smile and very attentive.

Maybe being right near a Walmart should have been a clue (apologies to Walmart). How do you mess up beef Pad see Ewe. Let me count the ways. First you have sickly pale undercooked noodles, add some bland, pounded, flat tasteless beef, (we've all encountered that before and hope to avoid in the future...not) throw in lots of broccoli (tasted fine), don't forget to put the invisible, flavorless sauce on it, and finally make it a small portion, thank you, because I wouldn't want leftovers and there you have it.

I never eat in, but this is some of the best red and green curry for miles.

Great service, great food, great prices. The lunch specials are perfect portions at the perfect price.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I ordered their spicy Edamame for lunch and they didn’t snip the end of their beans. When returning to let them know I could barley swallow, their response to me was “you don’t know how to eat spicy edamame”? Wow I will never return here. Zero stars

Every single item seemed like it sat in a serving tray all day before it was sold to us. From soggy colorless vegetables to rubbery chicken. Inedible.
I took out $100 family order and threw it all in the trash before they could get sick from eating it. I’m truly dubious of the 5 star reviews on this site. Stay away.

Mafia roll is so delicious. Server is very nice. Ordered food in person and to go multiple times. Each time it has been delicious.

This place has the best Massaman in all of Florida. It is the most authentic Massaman I have ever had outside of Thailand. This is a really great restaurant and you will enjoy it.

If you’re craving sushi/Thai food and looking for a quick, tasty bite this is the place. Great service and food arrived fast. We will be coming back here for sure. We had teriyaki chicken and fried rice with spicy mayo. Delicious and filling!

They pay attention to detail. The Thai and Japanese food is of equal quality and you can tell the ingredients are premium. I’d say their price point is 20-30% less expensive than restaurants of similar quality. Could tell the daily special dumplings were homemade.

Had a great first date here. I believe we had the dashi soup, dragon roll and a tuna cone. Dessert as well. Very nice, quiet and comfortable place. Excellent fresh sushi. We both had a great time. We will be back often :)

They are not able to accommodate 8 people at one table even when the restaurant is completely empty and they have big table at the center of the room.

The sushi is so fresh. You have to try the Sushi Bomb and Secret under a bed, really good rolls.

Soups are good. Sushi rolls are okay, tuna sashimi did not seem like fresh quality pieces. The spicy mayo is gross, its more like a liquid mayonnaise and is not spicy.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I bought a few rolls coming out to $43 and they somehow managed to charge me $52 then when I went in and told them they supposedly terminated the charge then charged me the correct price, but I ended up getting double charged. The beef stir fry was very bland, they charge $1 for eel sauce when it should be on every sushi roll like every other establishment. Very clean bathroom and polite host. So there is that.

Never get chicken teriyaki from this place it is so nasty my dog wouldn’t even eat it the microwave the meat with no seasoning it was the worst

My favorite little spot, this is a great family run sushi place with a huge menu. Thom is awesome behind the sushi bar and is always happy. The bento box lunches are one of my favorite items. Their motto is "sexy food for sexy people" which is probably why I eat here.

I’ve been coming here a few times a month for the past 4 years. I’ve lived in South Florida for 6 years and have tried numerous sushi places throughout Broward/Palm Beach County. Every place has been disappointing compared to Sushi Thai Fusion. This place is amazing! Best of the best. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for years and they have memorized our order. The staff is very friendly. The gentleman who makes the sushi somehow makes it better every single time. I will forever deem Sushi Thai Fusion the best sushi/Thai restaurant. I will always recommend them above any others. I usually order Mafia Roll & Sexy Top Model Roll. I strongly urge everyone to try here and I guarantee you’ll make them your go-to sushi experience. Sushi Thai Fusion will ruin all other Thai places, in the best way possible.

I have tried every Thai restaurant in Delray and this one is by far the best, I have been eating at Sushi Thai Fusion for 3-4+ years, even before they remodeled the restaurant with the 'Sexy' theme and was a hole in the wall. The dishes are always consistent on the flavor, good portions and good prices. Most importantly they do not skimp on the authentic Thai ingredients, use the correct noodles in each dish, and don't include things that don't belong like carrots in your pad thai, which is unlike most other Thai restaurants in town. The lunch special is a great deal.

I suggest Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) or the Red Curry, the Tom Yum Goong tastes just like it did in Thailand. The sushi has always been solid when I order it, admittedly I usually stick with the JB or Unagi roll. Their spice levels are consistent between visits unlike other places where you order level 5 spicy one week and its bland and the next its on point, they can make it 'Thai spicy' for you but be ready to grab a beer to cool off.

The restaurant is family owned and operated, they take a month off in July to take the entire family to Thailand, if you eat here just a few times they will recognize you and are happy to see you return. I see other reviews complain about the level of service, which is decent but not sub par for an Asian restaurant. I've never had an issue with how my takeout was packaged. I feel like those reviewers are expecting 5 star service on 3 star prices and must drive with their takeout unsecured in their car.

If you read all this, close your browser and order a damn dish already, you wont be disappointed.

The best sushi I've ever tried

Sushi Thai Fusion is also know as sexy sushi for sexy people. Consistently good food and good service. There is food for sushi lovers as well as those who like other cusine. The Thai options are as plentiful as the sushi. I've not had a dish here I didn't like.

Little know fact is that if you have a dog you can ask them to set up a table for you outside.

Stop by this place often, and always a great experience. Family operated, and they really care about good customer service and food quality.
Being a huge Thai food fan and mostly eating Thai food for the past few years, I can say this place is one of the best, you can always be sure the fish is fresh. The menu choice is big, you do have a lot of options. But no matter what I order, Spicy Tuna Salad always hits the spot for a starter, and My daughter loves Yum woon sen, delicious.
The ambience is very pleasant as well.

I’m so glad I discovered Sushi Thai Fusion on one of my trips to Delray Beach. This is my go-to spot for sushi when I come into town. I love taking my sushi home and eating it with a glass of wine. I love how fresh their fish is, and how many different things are on the menu. The staff is really friendly as well, and always strive to prepare the food fast so I’m not waiting too long (but not rushing). Even though this place isn’t on Atlantic, it’s a must-try in Delray!

I dine here often and happen to be here when Ms. Bressman was. I like Sushi Thai Fusion very much and figured she's the kind of person that would lie and exaggerate what took place by giving an inaccurate representation of the restaurant staff. It's a small, family owned place, so there isn't need for management to be permanently present like say an Olive Garden.

Ms. Bressman, I witnessed the completely unnecessary scene you made attempting to salvage the embarrassment you faced when the whole restaurant learned that you (and also your family apparently) feel it's alright to dine out, receive outstanding service, do not tip the server for her efforts, and then expect the same quality a second time!? I highly recommend you try McDonald's instead Ms. Bressman. At least at McDonald's your lies will be believed. Loser

DO NOT EAT HERE. Genuinely my worst dining experience. There is only one waitress as she is repeatedly the only one serving. The waitress was incredibly rude and insulted us to our faces. Go literally anywhere else. The food is sub par at best and certainly does not make up for the waitress making comments about tipping and insinuating we would not be paying. I asked to speak to the manager and she insisted she was the manager. When I asked to speak to someone else she brought out a young girl and said she was the manager. The young girl informed the the manager was not there that evening. We were insulted and lied to by this woman who continued to make faces and mock us. I repeat: DO NOT EAT HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The service is generally is ok but is getting progressively worse. About two weeks ago my son and I went in to eat lunch. The service was so bad I couldn't enjoy my meal. I felt uncomfortable because the woman server was downright rude. She acted so rude, she wouldn't even acknowledge me when I spoke to her. Then my son needed to order a takeout meal when they told us the kitchen is closed! I said "what it was only 2:50pm".... So we asked for a manager but there wasn't one there. Why is that some people who work in retail businesses think we are doing them a favor by coming in and spending our money? Go Figure! After being treated so badly we decided not to order the take out meal and told them we would not be coming back... PS: the chicken Pad Thai is really greasy, not that good. Looking for a new Thai place.

Red curry chicken and chicken Pad Thai are amazing. 4 our of 5 stars is hot but not anything crazy so you can enjoy the flavor, not run for a glass of milk and a towel to wipe the sweat. Tom Kai Kai soup is in my top 3 three soups anywhere. 4 starts there too. Owners are wonderful. We order takeout twice a week on average.

I never actually got to try it. As I'm walking up, about 2 feet from the door a woman walks up looks me dead in the face and changes the sign to closed. All I wanted was a Thai tea this was about 10 minutes before they were supposed to close at 2:50pm. That was extremely rude and unprofessional, and now they'll never get my business.

Thai Sushi Fusion is a gem. Tom and his wife worked at a 4-star hotel in Thailand. Their prices are very fair. Sushi is always fresh (Best Salmon ever!) and they make great curries. Try the delicious Pad Kee Mow which is flat noodles with Basil and sauce. Their Thai Wonton soup, Crunchy Crab salad, Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen are all excellent. Family operated. Been going there several years and never have been disappointed. On par with restaurants like Bluefin but more cost effective

Best pad thai in town, the best part is that they accomodate any dish fo a Vegan Diet. No fish, no oyster sauce, no egg.
So if you are vegan you have to go.

I'm never in Delray but was having my car worked on and walk over here for lunch. It wasn't that busy so I was hesitate to eat there but went in anyway. I had ice tea to drink and stir fry chicken with mixed vegetables. It was delicious . I received a bowl of soup, a spring roll, and my entree and the bill was barely over 10.00 which made it even better. Highly recomend.

I ordered Tuna Tartar to go along with another menu item. Later I opened the box andnoticed that there were 3 crackets floating in Tuna Tartaremail juice. First of all.... 3 crackers for an order of tuna tartare. Really? So, I called to let them know. I asked her to deliver a proper order of dry crackers. Ithe was directly across the street. She said they could not do it. I reminded her they had delivery. But, she wouldn't do it unless it came with a $4 delivery charge. Seriously, youwould lose a customer over some crackers?

Be careful when ordering at this restaurant because if you order the wrong thing or don't like what you order they will NOT change it, I learn the hard way when I had to pay for a meal I didn't eat, I will not be going back.

Went here the other day and wasn't sure how it would be because it is very hard to find and it is a very small place. But the food is amazing!! It is nice to be able to go somewhere where you have the option of both great Thai food as well as amazing Sushi! Everything is made fresh and although it is a little hard to find and a small restaurant the staff is always friendly and the food is amazing!
