I always thought Thai food was good, so here I am. Little Buddha is a really good Thai restaurant. Everything is creamy with curry. The meat is juicy and sometimes crunchy. I really like this restaurant and I recommend it.

We visited for dinner and tried several dishes: chicken satay, Tom Yum soup, Gang Kuar Goong (curry shrimp), Gang Ped Yang (roasted duck), and fried banana. The overall taste was decent but not particularly memorable. The roasted duck is nice with its crispy texture and rich flavor, although the accompanying sauce was a bit too salty. The shrimp was fresh and enjoyable. However, the other dishes were just average.

The price felt steep for its atmosphere—$7 for five tiny banana rolls and $19 for a small bowl of curry shrimp. Our total bill came to $80 including tips, which didn’t quite seem justified by the experience. Perhaps lunchtime might offer better value.

Been here to dine in a couple of times and done take out plenty more, food is always consistently delicious and fresh! It’s my go to for Thai food in Stamford and never disappoints.

I love Thai food, and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. My favorite dishes are the mango curry with chicken or shrimp, pad see ew noodles, and the calamari. The decorations create a very cozy atmosphere, and the service is always very friendly. Highly recommend!

Went for lunch today. My meal was spilled and splattered all over me and my clothes are completely stained. I wasn't so upset that it happened but there was no apology and nothing was taken off the bill. It's too bad because the food was good but will not go back.

Food here is tasty and good quality,love their drunken noodles. Slightly on the pricey side compared to similar options locally but that quality justifies it. Service is quick and staff is kind and professional. I usually do takeouts but the couple times I've dined in the experience was good too. 5/5 will definitely recommend.

I ordered delivery so I cannot speak to the service or atmosphere but the food was great. The basil duck was very good and the spice level "hot" was actually spicy. They put a ton of duck in the order especially compared to the same dish at other local Thai places. I will order or visit again but would leave out the Tom Yum soup. It had delicious broth but barely had any of the vegetables that were supposed to be there.

The mee duck noodle soup was very tasty. The broth especially had excellent flavor.

I think the drunken noodles were good, but I was expecting them to be spicier and I think they packed a bit of depth of flavor.

The tao hood tod (fried tofu with peanut sauce) was still crispy enough after take-out and the sauce was good!

Overall tho, very happy with the food and will be looking to try their dine-in experience as it's hard to give a proper review based on only the takeout experience

The takeout person on the phone when I ordered had to ask me several times for my address and phone number. There was either a language issue or a noise issue on their end. Very frustrating.

Tiny place with only a few tables, but really good food. We ordered takeout which was fast and friendly. Try the mango chilli chicken - I couldn't stop eating it!

Absolutely one of the best Thai takeout places in Stamford! I had the railroad fried rice with duck, and would get it again any day of the week. Definitely make a stop here if you’re in the area!

UPDATE: I did get in touch with somebody who was very lovely over the phone and credited the food for next time. I’m all for supporting local businesses, I’m an original Stamfordite and I feel a bit bad for posting this, but that is a huge quality control issue and is unacceptable.
(Original post):Raw, PINK chicken!!!! I tried calling the restaurant, but there was no answer because it was late. Shortly after I ordered, I received an email asking for feedback, and I filled out a form in which I stated my issue and have yet to hear anything back. I tried calling the restaurant again and nobody is picking up. Very frustrating and dangerous. Even moreso seeing that other patrons have had the same complaint!

They always get my order correct and are accommodating to any changes. Frequently on time as well. Excellent taste too!

So delicious! And ordering online for pick up is easy. Occasional coupons make this a great option.

I love this place! The best ‘hole in the wall’ Thai food in Stamford. The Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry are my two favorite dishes (get the gyoza too). Great for carry out if I don’t want to cook (and you can eat in too if you want. There are a few tables inside.).

What happened ? New cook & new management ? Female front person who was abruptly rude & unmasked ! Manager told me that they would not be wearing masks. Been coming here for years .. Pork dumpling overcooked with zero flavor ! Lumpy curry potatoe app. The Tom Yum soup with shrimp was good but not very spicy.Got a lecture when picking up curbside . RUDE &. DONE.

RARE CHICKEN! I ordered here from Uber Eats and I get raw chicken. The camera doesn’t pick it up as much as it does in real life but it is very pink and undercooked. Luckily this place isn’t a franchise because they would have a lawsuit on their hands.

Foods pretty good and so are the prices. I have it a four because the front are ding room always looks so dirty and dusty. Reminds me of someone’s garage too many tables in such a tight spot.

Ordered food twice from this little joint this week . Thai mango curry was great , the pad Thai was nothing special , chilli chicken was mild and on the tangy side. The next order went really bad - the Hakka noodles were just bland and steamed with some veggies thrown in .. just not hitting any of the taste buds !! Veg fried dumplings was a pass !! Guess need to stick to the curries ..

Don't be fooled by the "vegan " term in the description. They don't know what that means even if you explicitly tell them! The menu says please mention if you have specific food intolerances as all ingredients of a dish are not mentioned. But the waiter rolled her eyes when I checked does an appetizer have dairy I asked her to eliminate dairy in all dishes but she gets me a Thai iced coffee with milk!!! And she doesn't think she made a mistake! I ended up leaving it as it is but paying for it. Please know what's "vegan" before it's put up on your menu and be sensitive to your customer's needs. The items were good to taste definitely but would expect some more sensible service

Some days we just can't make up our minds on where to go eat. Everything sounds boring. Days like these are perfect for Little Buddha. We're never disappointed!

Best thai in Stamford

Ordered from Little Buddha yesterday. The pad Thai noodles came with under cooked beef. It was smelly. On calling the restaurant and giving feedback, they denied saying it’s impossible. And didn’t even try to offer a refund. I had to recook/stir fry the entire thing because they did an incomplete job. Used to be one of my favorite places, not anymore.

It is a great spot. We haven't been there since the pandemic started and we were scared that it was close. The food is great. I totally recommend their curry one of the best in town. Amazing deals for lunch ( definetly going more often now that I am working from home) I am glad that small business like that are still open their take out section was happening.

Best beef pho I've had in CT to date!

By far the best Thai food I have ever gotten. I’m from Long Island/NYC area and have quite a good amount of Thai food - this totally blew away all my expectations. I ordered the spring rolls and pad see-ew noodle dish with chicken and even though I’m stuffed, I can’t stop eating. Portion size is great also. I never go out of my way to write my reviews, but this was worth it. You won’t regret your trip here!

The green curry with chicken was fantastic. Medium spice with a noticeably creamy curry. The veggies tasted very fresh and the zucchini was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed this dish.
Only minor negative is that I didn't see Tom Kha Gai on the menu.

Oh yum! This was a great choice. I got the samba dish with chicken and all of the veggies and chicken was fresh and seasoned well. We also got a cauliflower appetizer that was really good. My friend got drunken noodles with chicken and said it was fantastic as well. There isn’t a ton of seating Inside (none outside), but that wasn’t a problem for us—we got there around 730p on a Monday and had the place to ourselves until around 8 when 1 couple came in. Very small place but very delicious food

Just okay, I love Thai food, I have been sick and ordered in, I ordered vegetarian masaman curry and pad thai. The flavor of the curry is fine, however the pad thai was flavorless and was just noodles with very few vegetables. I won't order from them again.

I've given it 4 different chances, and dishes, and it's just not good food. The sauce for the mango chili chicken tastes like pure ketchup. The crispy chicken pales in comparison to InThai's downtown. Both of these are top reco dishes at Little Buddha. Girlfriend enjoys her basil tofu at least?

Great service! Kind people. Again maybe the only place in Stamford I know that will allow you to bring a beer or two in with you. Always clean.
