Daughter got pho and she didn’t like. I tried hers and didn’t like it as well. Son made the better choice of getting the wings. lol. Bro in law got a chicken curry dish which was just okay.

I’ve eaten here many times and the staff is amazing. The food isn’t bad it’s just that I like things really spicy and every time that I ask for Thai hot it comes out mild at best. The first time that I had their Singapore noodles they were so full of curry flavor and spiciness. Every time since then they have been so bland, even after I request extra curry and Thai hot. I’m not sure what happened but hopefully it’ll shift back to the way it was when I first went there. The pho is amazing! The large isn’t much more than the medium so I always get it. I think it’s $13. It’s a challenge to finish the whole thing but it’s so good that I always manage to do it. And usually regret it afterwards as I’m uncomfortably full but it’s a small price to pay for such a good, affordable meal.
Update 8/1/2024-The Singapore noodle are delicious once again!! New cook maybe? Not sure but they once again are full of curry flavor and extra spicy like I like it.

Fish Panang curry at Thai Basil, Denver. It was so tasty. The fish tasted really good. They have several gluten free options across the menu, which are clearly marked on the menu. Thai iced tea was also very tasty. The service was very attentive. They have a lot of menu items, including Chinese and Vietnamese style food too. The portion size was enough so that I could make two meals out of it if I wanted.

Had family dinner, we were super happy with service, food and atmosphere. Would recommend for dine in!

Just ordered a chicken pad thai via DoorDash. Food was super undercooked. Chicken felt mushy, noodles were hard and veggies were chewy. I threw it away after a few bites. Hopefully I don’t get sick. Just lame because it was like $25 with door dash. I get it I chose that option but this place needs to get it together. Embarrassing way to sell your food.

I knew I was in trouble the moment I opened the menu. There were more Americanized Chinese dishes than Thai dishes. They only have 3 Thai noodle dishes. The food is not spicy in any way. Everything is bland and seemed microwaved. If you like actual Thai food avoid this place at all costs.

I get pho a lot all around Denver and man their broth here is unique, the basil was ultra crisp, I love their rice noodles for the texture. Leah was my server and she was really excellent, I will return again!

Everything is always seasoned perfectly and I enjoy myself absolutely every time!

Ordered pho, was surprised to realize that the soup and raw meat were seperate, just like how it is served traditionally. This made the experience so much better. I had covid so couldn't eat inside but was able to do a low contact delivery and have the same amazing experience.

Fyi- they do have a two item limit for delivery, but worth it if you're ordering out anyway because delivery is free.

I wish they treat their workers better. Mediocre. Avoid this place.

I used to love Thai basil when there was a location closer. I ordered 11/17 because I thought it would be good. Crab cheese wontons were fine as was the Mango cake.

The shrimp in my Pad Se Lew was not fully cooked, which was confirmed when I heated it up the next day and the shrimp finally had color to them.

The fried rice has barely cooked egg in it and the egg is white, white and sero color to it. If it was done then it was not cooked in a pan and was boiled.

Overall, not great but not horrible. Food wasn't very warm and everything had to be reheated. Definitely won't be returning. Based on other reviews this weekend had some issues with the food.

We door dashed to our hotel after a long morning walk and hit the spot. Spice level is great the portions generous and the tofu not over or under cooked.

This place used to be good but we got it Doordashed last night and it was awful. Everything was cold and one of our egg rolls didn’t even have filling. My green curry had almost no vegetables in it at all, mostly just chicken and it was so watery I ended up just throwing away most of it.

Just fyi the Pad Thai tasted stale, the watery Chicken Coconut Soup didn’t contain very many veggies or chicken and the Crab Rangoons were leathery and stale. Everything was edible but I wouldn’t order these sad dishes again. It’s clear the missing ingredient here is love.

Cute little place that’s open late! I found the Phǒ to be a little sweet, and that’s not really my thing. Perhaps it’s someone else’s. Other than that, it was so good. Waitresses were on top of it and service was great!

The fried rice was ok but the expensive butter shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. I think the food was not freshly made. I asked for added broccoli and got 3 tiny pieces that were overcooked. The entrees are very pricey, spent $80 and the food was meh.

I've been coming here every time I visit Denver, best food in the city. Favorite dish is the sesame chicken, so much delicious food.

We have been at the hospital all week and wanted a change from cafeteria food and something convenient. Called Thai Basil and they were super informative of their gf items and wanted it delivered to the hospital. Met them downstairs in the lobby and very nice driver. The food was delicious.

The food is good. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered the chicken wraps, I found a piece of chewed gum in the lettuce (which I discovered when it was in my mouth). I know stuff happens in restaurants from working in restaurants but it was disgusting. I tried to reach out to tell them but didn’t get to talk to someone managerial.
I don’t order food there anymore because I feel the sensation of nasty already chewed gum in my mouth. However, the food tastes good when no gum is in it, and the service is great. I’m not sure about the atmosphere because I don’t eat in there.

Get the spicy panang curry. Not only best in the city but prompt if you are at the location or if they deliver.

Most hospitable servers, felt homey and comfortable to dine in for a nice hot soup on a cloudy day.

I think the reputation of this place would be much better if they reduced the size of the menu and focused on doing one or two cuisines very well. Also dimmer lighting inside the restaurant would go a long way for atmosphere. But overall they have a solid foundation!

I do not recommend this place I and some friends went to eat and I ordered sweet and sour chicken and I did not finish the dish and I took it home hours after I got home I ate what I did not finish and within an hour I felt dizzy with heat and the My tummy felt upset. I went to the bathroom and I felt just as dizzy. After that I vomited and I felt very bad. I asked my friend who had eaten the same thing as me if she felt bad or felt like vomiting because I vomited and she told me Not that everything was fine and an hour later she called me and told me that she also vomited that that food made her very sick and that she had the same symptoms as me, I don't know if it was the lack of cleaning in the kitchen or if something rotten . I don't deny the food was delicious at first but after you feel dizzy with a belly ache and vomit I don't think it's worth it I prefer Panda Express or something safe. And no, this was not my first meal of the day, it was the second because it was in the afternoon and I just ate that until the evening.

I hate to leave a bad review. The yellow curry had good flavor but it had all these unnecessary vegetables. Some of which I didn’t even know what they were. These vegetable should have been listed in the description on the menu. I wish it were a true curry with potatoes, carrots, onions, and chicken (or choice of protein).

However on this past visit to pick up two guys we’re treated and assisted before I was even greeted. This is the day after international women’s day. And considering there were two female front of house working I didn’t think I had to stand up for myself to get attention, but this time I did. Wouldn’t want to label this company as sexist but man it sure felt that way!

I was really hoping to like this place and was excited with gluten free options. I called to place an order for pick up, and asked if it was possible to have pad se ew made gluten free. The woman on the phone said yes. When I got home, my pad se ew was just plain noodles with no seasoning or sauce. I wish they would have told me the dish would come with no sauce, I would have ordered something else.

I called back to explain what I ordered and what I received, and the woman on the phone told me that there is sauce on my noodles and that the gluten free one is just not as “strong.” I was told I could bring my dish back to them (which I feel like is not appropriate food safety practices) and then purchase something else.

I’m really disappointed with the food and service, it seemed like nobody cared to resolve the issue. $15 for plain noodles and chicken is absurd. :( I feel like this could have been handled much differently.

This place isn't bad at all! I give it 3 stars because for Denver standards its really good. If your from a diverse city then id give it a solid B-. I dont mean this to be rude or pretentious, but from an authentic Thai standard thats simply the grade. Their Tom Kha is called Chicken Coconut Soup which should totally explain the rating. I am happy with what I payed for and the job was done right, but theres DEFINITELY better Thai out there. Will i order here again? Maybe, but I want to try other places. For now I live super close to here so it may be a convenient order for me, but if your trying to find the best i would look elsewhere. Also the Medium spicy should be spicier in my opinion? I want to say again. Im happy with what I bought, I would buy again and I don't think the food is bad… it just could be A LOT better.

I dislike leaving bad reviews but this was pretty awful. Ordered Pad Thai with pork. First bite, I ended up with a metal shaving in my mouth. I tried to call to explain what I discovered, but there was a language barrier. Aside from that, the Pad Thai was not to my liking but that's a personal preference.

Wonderful people and atmosphere. The server was amazing and when I needed more time was happy to give it but also knew when to come back and check on us. The food is absolutely delicious. We got the wanton soup bowl (me) the tequila lime beef (comes with a lime chili sause (my man) and the split decision appetizer. They were all packed full with flavor and cooked to perfection. 10 out of 10 will be back.

I ordered their chicken noodle bowl, and asked for vegetables to be added, and boy did they deliver. :) It was SO tasty, the vegetables were great, felt healthy and light after eating it, and the egg drop soup was the best I’ve found so far in Denver. :) Very well done, and very grateful for their service.

We ordered an appetizer platter, the coconut chicken soup, the fried rice, and the green curry. We also got our order delivered. The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious and fresh. Thai food is my absolute favorite so I make a point to go to every Thai place I can. Thai Basil was a major disappointment. I’ve eaten at hundreds of Thai restaurants and this wasn’t BAD, so given the choice between Thai Basil and not having Thai I’d get it again. I order extra Thai hot and I emphasize that I’m serious, I want it Phet mak mak (Thai for very very hot)

Pad Thai: watery and the amount of heat was pathetic. I’d say heat was 3/10. I did really like all the onions they put in it though. Flavor wasn’t bad at all, but not very authentic tasting and they don’t make it hot. See photo I took AFTER draining the excess water out twice already.

Chicken Satay: chicken itself was fine, mildly seasoned (but good). Peanut sauce was extremely sweet. Served with diced pineapples which I’ve never seen and I don’t think pairs well.

Tom Kha: the flavor of the soup was very good! Some Thai restaurants use a bunch of chicken stock in their Tom kha to cut costs and it makes it boring at best and awful at worst. This Tom kha was very good! Unfortunately there was no heat even though I also ordered it Thai hot.

It’s incredibly frustrating being a Thai food fanatic and constantly emphasizing pet mak mak and/or reassuring it can never be too hot I have never sent food back, but still having restaurants unable to make spicy food. US Thai and Thai Pot Cafe are still my only reliable spots for good hot Thai in Denver.

First time customer. The pad thai doesn't have the slightest hint of peanut at all and the sauce is quite thin and smells weird. Usually wouldn't judge so harshly but I'm not inclined to try a second time. They charge 7 dollars for boba that just tastes like sugar water. Also who puts whipped cream on boba? Foam or brulee cap yes but whipped cream ? No thank you.

Meat smelled rancid, I tried convincing myself it was my imagination, but it wasn't. It was flavorless and it smelled bad.
Wonton soup was flavorless, even adding Sriracha and soy sauce couldn't fix it.
I ate some of the rice (added soy sauce) and the egg roll.
The best part of my meal was the fortune cookie.

Every time I come here the environment is very pleasant and inviting..and the food is TO DIE FOR!! Come here bring your friends and family! I can’t get enough of Thai Basil!

When people say there isn’t any good Chinese food in Denver…don’t tell them about this place because they will tell ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS. I have been going to Thai Basil for over two years now and it is hands down some of the best Chinese our city has to offer. My go to order is sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, fried rice, egg drop soup, and of course some crab wontons. While this place can be pretty pricey…they supply you with enough food for a few days. This place is amazing.

We ordered Vegetable Lo Mein because we are vegetarians. When we got our food, there was chicken in the Lo Mein!!

Ordered delivery directly from their website. Super easy to use, affordable, and even got some extra stuff for free. No ridiculous fees, food arrived FAST and fresh, and delivery person was great! Food was bomb as well. Will definitely get again any time we're in Denver!

The value to food ratio here is good. I’ve had their Pho and their Pad Thai. The pho was surprisingly good, a better price than the other local pho spot. The Pad Thai was more on the tart side but still very good. I would return.

The best drunken noodles! I love them with shrimp.

food is FLAVORLESS. the beef tasted like water. sweet & sour sauce was not sweet or sour. nice staff, very fast, please add seasoning :)
