I came for the Hainanese chicken, but received a disappointment. Chicken overcooked, no Hainanese flavor, and wrong rice.

Diner Review №2

Got a singular bowl of chicken ramen for $17. The noodles tasted like they were just cooked spaghetti and the chicken was raw and undercooked. I ended up getting food poisoning from this place. The guy who also served our food was rude and was annoyed at us for asking for a second bowl to split it. The bowl of ramen was not worth $17 for the way it was served and cooked.

Diner Review №3

we got chow mein, it was super garlic-y and good. enough for two!

Diner Review №4

BBQ pork and wonton was gas but don't get the drinks -- soggy boba and milk tea way too sweet.

Diner Review №5

Not your traditional Hainanese Chicken & Rice as it’s a Thai style but I’m a fan of Slurps’s version!

Their garlic ginger sauce is delicious, chicken is nice and tender, rice cooked right, and the soup broth has a great umami flavor.

Diner Review №6

Delicious,fresh and plentiful

Diner Review №7

Ramen ein Traum, mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen. Unbedingt probieren!!

Diner Review №8

Used to love this place but they must have changed their ramen recipe. Two times in a row it has been flavorless and doesn't have as many toppings as before

Diner Review №9

A food stall located within the Liberty Station Public Market. Staff were friendly and welcoming. My crab fried rice was ready in about 10-15 minutes after I ordered and it was delicious! I loved how they used actual crab meat and not imitation. The rice was well seasoned. I shared this dish with my daughter so I couldn’t order it spicy, but definitely will next time. I paid about $25 for the rice, soda and tip.

Eating Hainan Chicken Rice here is like getting Jackpot in slots 🙂 It’s that good. They have the right flavor that I’m looking for (combination of ginger, garlic, soy sauce are deadly combination, simple but flavorful). Well cooked rice, moist chicken, and soup are the main components, but don’t forget to ask chili oil for the best experience. Will come back just for this.

Diner Review №11

definitely not instant ramen

Diner Review №12

Got the tom yum noodle with egg noodles 15$. Didn’t have much flavor. Also wouldnt say it tasted like tom yum. Came with a lot of protein though. Bbq pork, ground pork, pork wontons, and fish balls i think. The soup was hot and the portion was generous, but flavor wasnt there. Appreciated it came with chili oil.
Service was quick and friendly though.

Diner Review №13

Place is so fire!!
Located in liberty public market right in front- everything on the menu is delicious and the owners are amazing. Would highly recommend stopping by for a bite

Diner Review №14

Highly recommend Spicy Basil Burrito. Level 4 spice was enough to clear the sinuses but very flavorful

Diner Review №15

A mix of Asian food, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai. Orange chicken was good and the portion was huge.

Diner Review №16

They have the Best chicken pho I have ever tried, the broth is amazing! Two other excellent dishes are the spicy crispy chicken bowl and the orange chicken served with noodles and vegetables. The workers are friendly which always makes for a better experience. They are located in the Liberty Station food court and depending on the time of year, it can get a little crowded but there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your food.

I had beef pho and lychee lemonade with pop boba. The pho is kind of sweet. No real lychee.

Good spot in Liberty Station for Asian fusion

Diner Review №21

Food was delicious! Great customer service.

Diner Review №23

Satisfying bbq pork and wonton egg noodle! Portion was generous for the price :). Also had a little side of chili oil and pickled jalapeños.
Would come back. :D

Diner Review №24

Food was great and the drink was refreshing

Diner Review №25

Amazing chow mein! Their vegan mock duck is incredible

Diner Review №26

We ordered the Hainan chicken, burrito, spicy beef soup, and the duck rice. Everything was great but the duck, it was dry and leathery. Hainan chicken was the highlight for me.

No lines on a Tuesday night.

Diner Review №27

I got the orange chicken with chow mein & the shrimp and pork steamed wontons & every single item was a 10/10! The chow mein is the best, most flavorful chow mein I have ever had, the orange chicken is crispy & sweet, & the wontons were tender & very flavorful. Portions are worth the price. Highly recommend!

I got Beef Wonton and Pork Soup and it was delicious! Next time I want to try the duck!

Diner Review №31

Beef Boat Noodle: delicious big serving

Diner Review №32

Super friendly staff and tasty, colorful drink! Butterfly pea tea on top, lime soda, and rainbow jelly. So pretty!

Diner Review №33

This was some of the most flavorful Asian food I have ever had, and the staff was so kind in helping me pick out what to get. Great bubble tea and spicy chicken with noodles. Highly recommend! The amount of food you get is definitely worth the money.

Diner Review №34

I ordered pho with beef ($15) and I was surprised by how good it is! The serving is also huge!

Diner Review №35

Best papaya salad I’ve had in a long time. Lao or Thai style

Diner Review №36

Great restaurant. I wish I could try everything! I had their roast duck noodle and crab fried rice. The fried rice was expensive (by non-CA standard), but you can share with 3 people! Roast duck was all breast, perfectly done.

Diner Review №37

Worst Thai food I ever had. No veggies, high fat thigh meat, hair in my rice, and cashier little english...

Diner Review №38

Walked around market a couple times trying to decide what restaurant to go for out of all the selections there was and let me tell you guys ! Best decision of my life to try this place awesome staff and friendly and very clean , if I could give 10 star I would ‼️ Keep up the good work Slurp 💜

Diner Review №39

Don't let the looks deceive you, their Hainan Chicken was pretty tasty!! I was pretty surprised how tender the chicken was because it honestly looked really dry from its appearance. The chicken was actually so tender that I could tear it apart with a plastic fork! Pair it with the peanut ginger sauce? It was sooooo delicious and flavorful. The chicken rice was also pretty flavorful! Great portions and it was very affordable too. Excellent takeout food.

This is a Southeast Asian owned business in Liberty Public Market! I think it's really cool that they offer Laos-style papaya salad here also! Most places only make it Thai style. So I may come back in the future to try it out :)

Diner Review №40

Tasty and fresh! Glad we went

Diner Review №41

I was craving something flavorful and this place was perfect. The owner, Gene, took my order and I asked him what he would recommend. He recommended the roasted duck with egg noodles. Loved it! Fresh, flavorful and Gene guided me with what to add to give the best outcome. Pretty large as well. Will be back!

Diner Review №42

I ordered the shrimp tempura, orange chicken and the pink drink. I'm comparing to places I've visited in thailand.
Overall I'd rate it 4/5
Shrimp tempura 4/5. Very plain. I'd say almost average.
Orange chicken 4/5. Flavor is better than most places in thailand. But not as good as a lot of places in san diego.
Pink drink 2/5. Not sweet compared to thailand but flavor is almost right.

Great orange chicken

Diner Review №47

Hainan Chicken and sausage fried rice were good. Not too packed on Thursday night.

Diner Review №48

Slurp has very good ramen. Theyr service is also extremely good.

5/5.

Diner Review №49

I would give zero stars if I could. Poor service. Front of restaurant girl was making fun of other customers passing by. I also experienced seeing a cook in the back just heating up food in the microwave. I was told 10-15m wait so I stood their with my baby for about 20-30m. No one was in line. The older ladies in the back and the girl at the front register just stared at me no smiles just moving ever so slowly. Then a customer came up and quickly got their food before me. I saw my food slowly get made then just sit there. Finally I had enough and asked how much longer and they said “oh it’s right here” so I proceed to wait for another 5 minutes as they slowly bagged my one rice dish. I checked the food and it’s just old mushy rice. Poor everything. Do better and be better. SMH.

Diner Review №50

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, the food tasted old, and I saw them just microwave it, I hadn’t eaten all day till 7pm and the food was so bad I passed on it, without eating all day. Terrible old stale food and overpriced.

Diner Review №51

I ordered the chicken chow mein and it was flavorful but while barely getting to half of it I found 2 pieces of plastic bag scraps cooked into my food 🤢 I couldn't finish the meal.

Diner Review №52

The roasted duck pho slurped in my mouth quacker than you can say sufferin succotash.

Diner Review №53

Roasted Duck slurp is soooooo good!!! Cant wait to try something else next time!

Diner Review №54

Got the pork and shrimp wonton soup. The shrimp wontons were a bit too salty for me, but the rest of it was delicious. Friendly service and will be back again to try more items.

Diner Review №55

Family time at Liberty Public market and my daughters wanted to try Slurp. Ordered the chicken curry puff, beef boat noodle and the pho noodle with beef. My daughters loved everything that they got. The take out containers for the pho and beef boat were awesome. They separated the broth from everything else. You just dumped your food into the extremely hot broth and you have a solid meal to eat. Really enjoyed the time as a family eating Slurp.

Diner Review №56

Duck Pho was killer, Orange Chicken was awesome. Wish it was closer to my house. But it was Great!
