IT JUST HEALTHIER AND MORE TASTY !!!
See you soon.
Never stepping a foot in this establishment. Reason 1: I ordered a pick up and was made to wait 30 minutes more than the previously given pick up time. If you are short staffed, hire more people. Don’t waste customers’ time.
Reason 2: Below average food. Ordered Tom Kha soup (rating 4/5). Probably the only edible thing on the menu. Their drunken noodle was 1/5. It was super dry and basically lacked all the seasoning and flavours. Pad thai was again 1/5. It was extremely sour. Fried rice is 3/5. Red thai curry is 2/5. Again why was it tasteless? Never have I ever had such bad sticky mango rice in my life. 0/5. Mango rice had unripened mangoes and no sauce in the rice.
Not even worth the visit once.
We came here for Easter and the food was delicious. They go above and beyond. Atmosphere is warm and spacious, service extremely friendly.
Came again in May and just as amazing! I’m vegetarian and asked if they could substitute tofu for the mandarin orange chicken and they did no problem. It was delicious and they got the tofu crunchy and just right! It’s our new favorite place!
Upgraded interior was very nice. Great pictures of dishes. Got the shrimp lotus asparagus, crispy pork, cashew chicken, veggies wok with tofu, and basil beef. Hard to pick a favorite. At 530 on a friday i called the food in on my way down the 56 and all this was ready in 12-15 minutes. I'll take better pictures next time.
Went here for lunch with friends, and we loved it. Portions were generous, and the food was delicious. I got the drunken noodles with crispy pork, a protein that's tough to come by at Thai restaurants in my experience. I appreciated that they asked for your preferred spice level out of 10 for each dish - I got the 7 or 8, which was a perfect level and added flavor to an already incredible dish. One of my friends isn't a spice girl, but she still enjoyed her chicken pad thai at a milder level!
The restaurant has a very calming and cozy interior for a nice sitdown lunch with friends. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and service was quick without feeling rushed. Overall a great dining experience that I would recommend to anyone!
I went there today for pick up and the second time and as expected the food was very delicious. The lady at front was very nice...
I really love their garden rolls and the peanut sauce. They’re beautiful to look at seriously & delish. I also really like their pad Thai. Want to try the pad see ew next!!
Amazing food
This place is always busy and now I know why.
People that leave 1star are haters.
Yiu have try this amazing food and spices.
We get takeout about once per week for past 2 years. Excellent food and value. Very authentic Thai and I have been to Thailand many times to compare. I would definitely recommend to others!

Awesome food
the drunken noodles and panang curry were so good!!

Very good. Spicy and Sweet, made to your preference
Cute and spotless Thai restaurant with delicious food! We ordered the drunken noodles and red curry for entrees with mango sticky rice for dessert. Aaharn is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area! Highly recommended!!
This was our first time to this restaurant and it was phenomenal. The folks I was with got the chili gyoza and curry. I got the spicy noodles with tofu. It was all absolutely delicious, the place is adorable and very clean, and the prices were great!
I definitely will be back!!
Delicious Thai food! Amazing service
Best Thai restaurant in the area!!
This is my favorite Thai place in SD. My go-to order is tofu pad see ew spice level 2 with Thai milk tea. They make it great every time!
Very good food. I have gone once before. The Pho was fresh and tasty. Everything seems made to order. There are 2 Bon Mi sandwiches on the menu. Well done here too.
The egg rolls were hot. The spring roll was fresh.
This is a friendly place with good food. A great find in PQ
First time here-super fresh and delicious food!
Great fresh food, great service, and very reasonable prices. Our favorite Thai restaurant! We ate so lucky to have this restaurant close to home.
Value for money and time.
ข้าวซอย อร่อยมาก

Aaharan is our favorite place for excellent thai food, prepared by the most friendly and courteous staff you could ask for. Excellent flavors and prompt service. Fantastic vegetarian options! Cant sat enough good things about this restaurant, the food or the wonderful and warm staff. We eat here or take out at least weekly!! Never a bad meal or experience! We love it!!!
We ordered the fried tofu, larb duck, pad thai with tofu, and drunken noodle with beef. All were 5/5 on price, flavor, and portion size. Got the 2/10 spicy option, which was pretty spicy... Good service, cozy atmosphere. Would definitely come again many, many times.
Food 🥘 is outstanding. We do mostly takeout as it is close to home. Every time we don’t want to cook, we look at each other and both say, Thai? Yep. My only frustration is the lack of parking due to the 24 hr fitness next door. But that is t their fault and you can usually find so
Thing in the back
Always great food! My go to Thai restaurant highly recommended.
This place is very friendly and quite popular with the locals.
It's always busy and the food tastes great so come hungry?
We came here for Easter and the food was delicious. They go above and beyond. Atmosphere is warm and spacious, service extremely friendly.
Came again in May and just as amazing! I’m vegetarian and asked if they could substitute tofu for the mandarin orange chicken and they did no problem. It was delicious and they got the tofu crunchy and just right! It’s our new favorite place!
Absolutely delicious! Authentic Thai food just like in Thailand and reasonably priced. Yummy!!
Delicious food and great customer service!
Love this place!! Service is always great.
Have not been there for a while and was pleased with such a great selection of vegetarian dishes. Very friendly personal as well. Can't wait to come back.
Awesome customer service. Food is great!
Food tasted amazing. The presentation was incredible.
This place pretty busy. Can’t beat the taste of the Tom Kha Soup, drunken Noodles and spicy Thai Fried rice. This is the first time we finished full portion in the restaurant itself. Hat’s off to the chef. Amazing food. Wait time for serving food takes longer but it worth it. I see lot of take out compared to the dine in. I will go to this place again and again.
The service was good. I didn't know that they closed at 3.00pm and they decided to take the last order. Papaya salad is well presented. Papaya salad is very sweet like a dessert. I can't even fix the flavor. Tom-Yum Shrimp was too sweet and there's no sour flavor. If you are looking Thai fusion kind of food, this might be the place. But if you are looking for authentic Thai food with flavourful spicy, this is might not be the right one.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant so far! Pineapple fried rice is a must try (I like it with shrimp but any protein is good). Drunken noodles, pad see ew noodles, pad woon sen are all delicious noodle dishes! I enjoy all the curry dishes as well. 😋 Tom kha & tom yum are both very tasty soups. I like them with shrimp or chicken. You cannot go wrong at this restaurant! ☺️
great thai food very comparable to the top thai food places I’ve been to in SD! we got the drunken noodles, pad see ew, panang curry, and tom kha soup and they all tasted delicious
Best Thai restaurant in North County. We love the vineyard golden fish, and pad woon sen.
Amazing Pad See Ew!
One of the best thai food in San Diego. We tried the Garden roll tofu and cashew wok. Both were outstanding!!
The food here is really good
Now this is Thai food! You have to think about their schedule and plan accordingly, but the food is so worth it! Even the peanut sauce for the fresh rolls has a great savory quality
mmm, got the khao soi with chicken, sooooo good.
Very good food and environment.
I ordered Penang curry and Tom yum soup tor delivery and requested “mild” on the spice level. Both the soup and the curry are wayyyy too spicy. I can’t eat this at all. Panang curry is supposed to be yellow… it looks like they just dumped a ton of chili oil on top of my curry. It doesn’t even stir in there’s so much of it…Complete waste! I can’t eat this! :(
I've ordered food here 2 times now and both times I am surprised by how great the food is especially for the price. Their spice level is great, Thai food is suppose to be spicyy their Thai basil, curries, soups. And desserts are all fantastic. Will be coming back for more
We’ve ordered delivery once, and pick up once. Both are always a bit of a gamble in quality and both times they exceeded expectations. The pricing is great especially for the quality! And the mango sticky rice, is probably the best dessert I’ve ever had. LOOOOVEEEE
Great food
Excellent service and atmosphere. The is good and reasonably priced.
Hm, this might be one of my favorite thai places in the area. The servers were really nice, parking is easy, there's plenty of seating, the food was good, and price were fine. The presentation of the food was even well done.
A rarity for me - I preferred the curry over the pad thai. I had the penang curry, which was a delight, and tofu pad thai, which was just okay.
I won't get the pad thai again, but I might return for the curry. Good service. Decent location.
Staff is very nice, solid food.
Legit real Thai food
Love this place! Cozy and nice ambience Thai restaurant. We went there last night with some friends and they all like the place. Since it was Monday night the place was not crowded. However, since we had big party, we still made a reservation. The table was ready when we got there. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. We ordered Grilled Lamb, friend tofu, crab friend rice, cabbage crispy Prok and Lime fish and some seafood. All the dishes are tasty with good portion size. I would like to mention our waitress who is super nice and friendly. When we were ready to pay, she kindly reminded us that a large party gratuity was already added to the bill so we don’t need to tip again. What an honest act in today’s crazy and out of control tipping culture in the US after the pandemic! I hope I had found this restaurant earlier. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere of this place was great and very relaxed. Also, the presentation of the food was so pretty and modern. We got the green papaya salad and chicken pad Thai. Both were tasty and I would go again. I’ve had better of both at different places but still this was great. I’d recommend this place to a friend. I’d rate it a 4.3.
We absolutely loved the food and our waitress Fonny. She was so friendly! We will be coming back for sure :)
The food is so good and very affordable. Two people for $28, and portions were enough for two meals easily:)
The service was good and the ambience of the restaurant was relatively cozy and nice. We ordered everything at a spice level of around 3 since other thai restaurants we had been to had high levels of spice at only around 3-4. We wished we ordered a higher spice level, maybe around 5-6. If you come here, 3 is relatively mild and we couldn’t taste much spice. The yellow curry was good, same with tom yum soup and chicken satay. The tom yum soup was refreshing, as it had that distinct salty and zingy taste. Thai iced tea was good, on the sweeter side.
The restaurant has a very calming and cozy interior for a nice sitdown lunch with friends. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and service was quick without feeling rushed. Overall a great dining experience that I would recommend to anyone!
The lady working with short brown hair is really rude. She needs a attitude adjustment.
Salty pad Thai
Unresponsive waiter
Nice & yummy thai meal 🤤
We loved it! Their hotness scale was on-point, 3 was mild, 5 was medium. If you are unsure, they can provide some chili powder to add some spice.
Best new Thai place in years. Thank you Aaharn! Love you
Food was ok ( tried pad thai , spicy fried rice ) . Service is quick. Parking is difficult to find at peak times
Just tried this place for the first time, as it's newer. Got Pad Thai and See Ew. Both had great flavor, although the Pad Thai was our favorite. I got take out this time but the place looked nice and relaxing on the inside so will eat in next time.
Best Thai food in the area, we order this on a weekly basis. Highly recommend the lamb dishes, they are worth the price. Medium level spiciness is equivalent to spicy at another location, so just be aware of that.
Ordered takeaway massaman by phone, it was ready on time and securely wrapped. Portion sizes were very generous and delicious! Happy to have this as my local Thai restaurant and we will be ordering again soon.
I have tasted far better red chicken curry than what they make here.
Wonderful new Thai restaurant in PQ!
Tried out Aaharn for the first time tonight. Really nice environment, great service, and excellent food. Definitely displaces my usual place for some key go-to menu items and paired with a better environment…this will be my new Thai place.
First time in, had the Tom Kha, PadSeeEw, and panang curry. Rate the first to solid 10. The Panang was good but maybe not quite enough to unseat the other PQ Thai joint.
Recommend you get here right away and give it a try!
boat noodle and chives cakes are my absolute favorites when I was in Thailand. And I’m finally tasting the authentic stuff here SD. I’ll be a new regular for sure!!
Best creamy tom yum we ve ever had. It was their specialty with river prawns. We also had the drunken noodles with crispy pork belly slices which is also delicious. Worth going back for.
I've eaten here several times. The portions are very good for the price, the quality of the food is really high, and the people who work here are very good too. They are vegan friendly too!
First time coming here, thinking the other restaurant prior to this one was still open, food was good, but the service was horrible since the moment we walked in she gave us a bad stare and was rud showing us to the table. We are and left but will not be coming back to this place ever again!
We've enjoyed it for takeout and for Dine in.
Heat scale is from 1 to 10, five and above will definitely be challenging even for those who are used to very hot food.
Wonderful staff! Great service
Delicious and very well priced. Excellent service.
We were very excited to try this place but it turned out to be such a huge disappointment. Placed an order to go and very specifically asked for Medium spice level and what we got was probably a level 20 on spice level . Trashed our entire ordered . If that’s a medium don’t know what a spicy level would be , never going to order from here ever . Don’t recommend it at all .
Pretty slow - not even the appetizer is ready after 40 minutes.
Eggplant came undercooked and tastes off.
Dessert is disastrous. Mango in the mango stick rice sundae is stale and flavorless. Sticky rice is el dente (which it should not be). I was expecting coconut milk in there, which also seems to be missing.
Won’t come back again.
56 Spicy fried rice was delicious!
We had the Phad Thai veggies and the Hawaiian pineapple fried rice with crispy pork. The main course was Massaman lamb shanks and Naan. The mango sticky rice sundae was the best I’ve had, after visiting many thai outfits in San Diego.
Easily one of the top five Thai restaurants in San Diego!
Amazing place. Very positive aura and peaceful atmosphere! Food has items not found in other thai restaurants and you can feel love in the dishes😋
Nice spin on Thai, good quality eats!
Lamb shank is the bomb!!
Food is great! Spicy levels are on point and food is very tasty. Portions are good and service is attentive.
I keep coming back to try all the dishes. After giving it multiple tries I find that the more pricey dishes taste better. Some of the best dishes are the panang and massaman curries, Kao soi, Chive cube, Lamb hunter, and Garlic pepper lamb chop. The lamb is cooked perfectly and the Kao soi curry is addicting.
The dishes that I would pass on are the Phuket pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, Drunken noodle, Apple wood spare rib , and Bangkok roti crips (curry is addicting but the roti seems premade).
We were a party of six, including two children. Let me start by saying the service was great! I don’t know about other but I have found restaurant service lacking in the past few years. The staff very friendly, helpful, and patient. This was a nice change compared to the other local Thai place. We ordered a variety of dishes that were all very tasty. The papaya salad was one of the best I’ve had, and I have had many. They got the flavor down to perfection with just the right amount of sweet and spicy. Since it is still a new restaurant they didn’t have some of the menu items, but we were assured they would have them in the future. Overall, I was quite pleased and especially pleased that I won’t have to return to the other Thai place anymore. I gave it four stars just because of the lacking menu items, I believe there were two thing we ordered that they didn’t have yet, but it wasn’t significant.
Food is great 👍! Reasonable price ! Definitely be back to dine here at "AAHARN RESTAURANT"
Authentic Thai food - go for the items on the specials as they are so good - including the massaman lamb shank and the vineyard whole fried fish - and Mango Sticky Rice Sundae for dessert
Excellent Thai. And I don't say that lightly. If you like mildly hot, order a 2. 3 opened my sinuses. Entrees come with rice. Not as busy as Sab-e-le. And just as excellent.
Insanely good Thai food. The wagyu rolls and the wagyu noodle soup is amazing, but very pricey. Drunken noodles and yellow curry are some of the best I've ever had. Only dish I found meh was the beef fried rice.
Highly recommend it!
Have only ordered take out twice and the quality in the food and flavor is second to none. Panang curry is full of spices and flavor. I ordered pad see ew with shrimp and I can taste the quality shrimp, definitely not frozen shrimp thrown in there but fresh big size shrimp. Woman up front has been kind and courteous every time. I suggest ordering straight from their website to avoid them being charged from 3rd party apps. Support small business.
I got Siamese fried rice with chicken and a side of na'an. My wife got Pad Thai with beef. We started with their rib appetizer. It was drenched in a sauce that was overpowering, and the little rib pieces weren't worth the $10. The fried rice was okay enough, but my wife's pad Thai was sweeter than candy. It upset her stomach. A Thai restaurant should have good Pad Thai. The server forgot my na'an until I mentioned it, and if you're used to flavorful na'an, this place's na'an was bland and one piece was overdone and hatd to chew. Would not return or recommend.
Good
The food was amazing and packed perfectly for take away. Thank you for a great dinner.
Good food, reasonable prices, great service. All employees wore masks.
Amazing. We ordered sweet soy se-ew and the drunken noodles. The noodles had a satisfying chew and tasted wonderful. Sab e Lee in Black Mtn is usually my local Thai go-to restaurant, but I am reconsidering to replace that with Aaharn56. The service was polite and speedy too!
I am a happy man once again, thanks to this delicious Thai food
The food is amazing on everything we ordered. Super friendly staff. The best thing is that you don’t have to wait at all.
Food: 4/5
Service and Setting: 4/5
Value: 3/5
I am always looking for new restaurants to eat at and unfortunately not too many have been popping up. I was excited to see that Aaharn 56 had opened up and had a great coupon that came from the mail. The restaurant is located at the end/corner of the Rancho Peñasquitos plaza, perpendicular to the 24 Fitness there. While the exterior looks dated like the rest of the plaza, the interior is quite nice and has a high-end atmosphere. The servers were all very attentive while not bothering you too much. I ordered quite a lot to share my experience and have a healthy idea of the food here.
Thai Iced Tea with Coconut Milk: 4/5
Thai iced tea is hard to mess up and Aaharn does 56 does a great job at it. The drink was smooth, not too sweet, and the use of coconut milk made it lighter than those made with half and half. The light coconut flavor helped accentuate the gentle smokiness and richness of the tea while also imparting an almost tropical flavor. I enjoyed this a lot and it really helped control the heat of the food.
Cream Cheese Puff: 4/5
Again, Aaharn 56 did not reinvent the wheel, but these are super tasty. While I did find the wrapper to be slightly hard and brittle versus some other more crispy versions, it was very fresh and did not absorb tons of oil. The cream cheese has a wonderful dairy flavor that helps cut the strong spice of their entrees if you can hold yourself back from eating them all right away. The sauce that they give is sort of a cross between plum and sweet chili sauce and did not have that weird chemical taste that it sometimes has.
Massaman Curry with Mock Duck: 4/5
At Aaharn 56, they offer spice levels from 1-10 and I got a 7. I just want to warn you that Thai spice is no joke and can be brutally spicy. I am pretty good with heat but the 7 got me sweating. The curry itself was very rich and sweet while being very spicy. The base has a strong flavor of coconut and peanuts and other aromatics. While tasty, I wish that there was more depth of flavor, but I do acknowledge that picking the mock duck as my protein may have not been a contributing factor. The mock duck really absorbs the flavor better than any other protein and was delicious. They give you a lot of protein. The vegetables are very lightly cooked, the potato especially. I found it to be delicious, but if eating raw-ish potatoes is not your thing, definitely ask them to cook them longer. Random note, I found the rice to be very delicious and super fluffy while being aromatic.
Sweet Soy Se-Ew with Crispy Pork: 4/5
I think that these are the same as more commonly named Pad See Ew, but don’t quote me. They tasted pretty similar. First of all, this portion is huge and can easily be a meal for 2 people or a solid shared entree with 3. The noodles were very chewy and satisfying and the total opposite of mushy. The vegetables are all wonderfully fresh and crispy without being raw. The crispy pork also retained its crunchy skin while being moist. The portion of protein was also very good. The flavor is sweet and savory from the soy sauces they use. Again, nothing that explodes my mind, but very well made and worth the money. When adding spice to this dish, keep in mind that the heat may be more intense and the flavors of the chili will be more pronounced, especially the bitter notes.
Bua Loy: 5/5
I have never tried this dish before but I am so glad I did. On the day that I visited, San Diego was blessed with its annual winter rain. Bua Loy is almost like a warm coconut soup with rice cakes floating in it. The coconut is reminiscent of the cream that they use to top mango sticky rice and the rice cooks look like the taro balls used at Meet Fresh. The dish is so comforting and extinguishes and lingering heat from your meal. While being delicately sweet, there is a healthy amount of salt that highlights the savory duality that coconut milk brings. The dumplings in the soup are unbelievably soft and pillowy without having any disintegration or sliminess that can occur when cooking like this.
hey. guys, I would love to recommend this hot spot Thai place in PQ area. AAHARN 56 has very good food and their staff super friendly. I got Lamb shank curry dish which I haven't seen in any Thai restaurant before. that is super delicious very recommend to try it. I will be back with Family and Friends to try more item on menu.
PAD THAI
pasty like it was last week's leftovers, even the green onions were old looking.

Thank you for great service and lovely staff that were welcoming to me and my puppy 💜🙏🏽🤗Food was so good and I will definitely come back soon! 🙏🏽
Always friendly service. There are other options farther away in Mira Mesa, but honestly, they don't stack up. The customer service and consistent, good food, keeps us coming back. Their strawberry shake with boba is the jam!
wonder if they have closed since whenever I call no one answers the phone now and it goes to a voicemail that is not set up. Too bad. Food was fantastic!
Local Vietnamese flair. No frills.. Solid service from the staff, which are usually the very nice, helpful family couple. Menu I solid with much to choose from, with reasonable prices. Wanna support your local businesses..?
Stop by if you're in the PQ area.
+ star for service
+ Star for Cleanliness
The pho just taste awful. Maybe they put an American twist to the recipe add MSG??? The broth just makes it uneatable. This taste nothing like the pho that I've had at many places in SD. Honestly, how can you screw up Pho and have you ever had a bad bowl?
The rare steak which had three pieces in the bowl was MICROWAVED (you can hear it running from the kitchen) was cooked well well done, like bumble gum chewy.
The owners are very nice and kind. But I come here for the Pho and Spring Rolls. I work nearby so I come here often.
Delicious Pho. It is a better tasting noodle soup. My little kids enjoyed it. Also, great customer service. The employee was friendly and did not rush us.
We recently moved from the Bay Area and we were looking for good Phở. Being from the San Francisco Bay Area, one is always spoiled with so many choices from some of the best restaurants in the world right in your backyard.
After a couple of disappointments from other Vietnamese restaurants around the area, we stumbled across Pho Saigon & Grill while actually heading to another phở place.
Ordering over the phone was already a pleasant conversation and was quite pleased when the gentleman repeated our order as well as confirmed the location. We showed up to pick up our order and met Sydney, who also happens to be from the Bay Area. He assured us that we would enjoy our food and it’s authenticity. Sydney even brought our order out to us.
To sum things up, the food was delicious and satisfied the craving for Phở especially during this time of the year. Prices are reasonable and menu selection is great! We’ll be back to try some of the other items off the menu.
Nice meeting you Sydney! Continued success!
Exquisite
Its was alright for the price
Too bad, no indoor dining.
They messed up my order and when I when backed to to pick up another order and told them them miss the meatball on my first order , she said "if you say so" . There are many other Vietnamese food in the area and I found them even cheaper and better
Always taste good
Fantastic Vietnamese place. The owner, Sydney and his wife pride themselves on treating the customer with respect and care. Both my GF and I have allergies that can make eating out a challenge. Sydney was attentive to our needs and made sure that everything we got was allergy free. I had the Eggnoodle with chicken. It was fantastic. We will be back again soon!
One of the best Pho places I have found so far with amazing flavors and high quality ingredients!
Can't say enough nice things about this place. The food is always fresh and healthy. The owner operators are wonderful people and care about their customers. Order by phone and pick some food up soon. American small business should be celebrated.
Food is good, with smaller portion sizes than other Vietnamese places, but the food taste is equal in quality. The chicken salad is cool and refreshing, salmon in ginger sauce is similar to those in other Vietnamese restaurants, as well as the vermicelli noodles. The workers there are taking care to abide by the rules, and they have hand sanitizer available at the counter when you pay.
If you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant is fantastic!
Sydney is hardest working person I have ever known, we are all humans and we sometimes gets burned out, but hey who doesn’t. And their food always gets my praises and respect! Hang in there Sydney, we will all get through this!
I told the lady i cant eat solid food, but would like to buy 2 sides of broth. She said not with out buying an entree. What would we do with the meat and noodles
The best Pho joint in Penasquitos. I love this Pho place, service is excellent, food is tasty with good portion, staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, excellent restaurant for you and your love ones.
This is the best Pho shop in the county. My family loves the food and the service is top notch!
Great food and friendly staff!
I called Pho Saigon & Grill to find out how much their fresh spring rolls were. This was my first experience with this restaurant, having never eaten there before. I spoke to the Manager, Sydney on the phone. He let me know the price but I didn't have a pick up time decided yet. He said to call back and ask for him to arrange a pick up time. I called back a few minutes later ready to place my order and set a pick up time. Spoke to Sydney, he then replied very rudely "ARE YOU GOING TO PICK IT UP OR NOT?!?!?" This phone interaction quickly upset me and confused me at the same time. I'm not quite sure what set him off because our previous conversation was ok. In the end, no orders were placed because I felt very disrespected. I can't comment on the taste of the food but from my phone call experience, Pho Saigon & Grill has lost my business, I will not consider this restaurant in the future due to the unprofessional and disrespectful Manager, Sydney.
This used to be my favorite pho place in north county. A diligent manager was on top of the service and food. The quality and taste was fantastic. My last visit, however, was quite disappointing. The place must have a new owner. The spring rolls we’re old, the pho didn’t taste as fresh. The place didn’t look as busy as I remembered either.
Went to this place for the first time tonight to pick up take out. I read some of the reviews before to know what I was getting into. It didn't smell like it was cleaned with dirty rags like someone said before. Definitely didn't smell like a Vietnamese restaurant. I took my time checking out the menu and was asked if I was ready to order. I decided on the vermicelli noodle bowl with chicken and egg roll, 3 pk shrimp fresh rolls, 7 pk crispy egg rolls, and the grilled salmon plate. I decided to grab a few items from Stater Bros and by the time I got back all my food was ready! Super fast and excellent service. Definitely will be returning again instead of going to PCD.
They have a delicious shrimp noodle dish that they make with rice noodle for me instead of the egg noodle on the menu (it reminds me of my mom’s Filipino pancit).
They are super friendly and served me complimentary hot tea on a cold, windy day while I waited for my to-go order.
Good Vietnamese cuisine. Thumbs up.
Great pho! And the fried rice dishes are flavorful!
Great pho and great service!
Great Pho. Lots of meat in it.
Tai, chin, gan, sach (sp?).. Gam anh!! I love Pho Saigon & Grill. Most tender rare steak that I have found in SD. Featured in the back with the nearly black sauce is the HEAT!! Special black sauce that takes no prisoners.. if you're looking for a spicy challenge I dare you to put a full teaspoon in your bowl!!
