I basically paid for pineapple in curry sauce plus rice for $18. I've tried calling them several times afterward, but they never answered their phone. This business is greedy with their meat ingredient portions, so I will never go back again. If I had dined in, I would have sent the food back and left. There are other places locally that serve better portions than this one.

This was my Duck salad and It was amazing 👏 😋 we also got a spicy beef salad the shrimp thai and for dessert sticky rice with mango. There's no picture of the sticky rice with mango because it was devoured upon arrival but it was amazing! It was our first time here but we are coming back! It was clean and there was plenty of parking and no crazy wait ,friendly staff 5/5

It is exquisite. The best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life and I am quite a picky eater. I’ve been a personal chef for many years, and I am an avid foodie. This is authentic, delicious, and affordable. California is about 5-7 dollars more expensive on meals, but this place is absolute perfection without the crazy price tag.

The owner was delightful and hospitable. He spoke with us our visit, and really made it such a unique and enjoyable experience. I love meeting new people and trying new food. The ONLY regret I have at this restaurant is not taking some Togo for me to eat on the plane 😂. 15/10. Order it now. We will come back to visit family and my first stop will be this wonderful place.

Je ne veux pas être méchant, mais le vieux monsieur, qui sert de temps à autre, ferait mieux de prendre sa retraite.
De toute façon tout est vieux ici à commencer par la carte, usée, écornée, sale. vous commandez au hasard, car ce n'est pas très explicite si c'est du lard ou du cochon, du poisson ou des côtelettes.
Quelques plombes plus tard... vous avez ce qui était commandé. Ouf, c'est du poisson! l'assiette aussi c'est un poisson. Beaucoup de sauce, ça doit cacher quelque chose. En effet le poisson est trop cuit et il y a peu à manger, que des arêtes. Le riz est blanc et sec, peu d'agréments, mais les poivrons sont frais, parfait pour passer la nuit à les digérer.
Les commentaires élogieux sur ce bui-bui thaï-thaï me semblent déplacés et les gens qui viennent prendre des commandes, on voit qu'ils ne cuisinent pas souvent.
Cher pour ce qui est dans l'assiette et dans la turme. Un peu plus loin il y a un fast food...

Helemaal goed! Zeer vriendelijke bediening en uitstekend eten. Ik weet dat veel mensen verwachten dat je binnen 5 minuten je eten krijgt, maar zo werkt dat eenmaal niet bij Thais eten. Dat hoort vers bereid te worden en dat kost tijd. Het eten was dan ook heerlijk en je krijgt ook Thais bier dat zoveel beter smaakt dan dat Amerikaanse bronwater. Een echte aanrader.

Oh my gosh I came with my friends while in town to visit and the dinner and lunch combos are such a bang for your buck. If you like spicy food then don’t worry to order hot. It’s the perfect heat. The service was quick and friendly.

Went to Thai Dishes for the second time, a week after my first time because it was so delicious! The staff is very kind and the food is amazing! The price is also very affordable as they do have a number of lunch and dinner specials to order from!

We walked into an empty restaurant. One other guest. The older gentleman server (maybe owner) saw our service dog and said we weren’t welcome to eat there. My wife expressed that’s not legal per ADA and he doubled down. No wonder it’s empty in there. Terrible attitude and obviously discriminatory.

Delicious! Stayed at the hotel beside the restaurant the night before a cruise and ate here twice. Every dish was amazing! Best Thai tea we've ever had. Spring rolls were delicious. Hubby loved pumpkin curry and i enjoyed Pad mai koo. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed every bite and would return if ever visiting the area. Very reasonable priced generous portions.

On holiday in Redondo, best food by far that we have had while we have been away. Lovely friendly owner too, would highly recommend.

"Willie" the owner/host/jack of all trades was wonderful. But. more importantly, the food and service was superb. The best place we ate during the entire 24 day trip.

I did not come to this place for such a long time, I was amaze to find out that they finally did some remodeling. It looks much better. The food is ok, but not the greatest anymore. I think it was better 20 years ago when I first ate there. There is always room for improvement.

Delicious food & great inexpensive lunch specials for under $10

Tonight we celebrated my aunt's 80th birthday. A friend recommended Thai Dishes Redondo Beach. I don't know when I've had a delivery dinner (or any dinner, really) that was so good. We ordered coconut chicken soup, Pad Thai, spicy Thai fried rice, and Kang Ped Curry. I cannot say enough how wonderful each of the entrees were. The soup had a strong and tangy galengal-lime-lemongrass flavor, offset with the sweetness of the coconut. It is hard to say which was better: the pad thai with a mildly peanut vinegar idea, or the curry* which was utterly complex yet light with notes of basil and cilantro in a sweet coconut broth. (*Note - the curry does not come with rice, so be sure to order some.) Willie, who I think may be the owner, delivered the food himself. He also took the order, and customized the order for our party readily and happily.
For example we asked for no mushrooms in the soup - Sure!
Can every item be mild? - of course!
Could you add egg to the spicy Thai fried rice? Sounds good!
He is very personable and friendly. This restaurant could shut down all other Thai food places around, if people only knew. I've lived here all my life, and this was my first time. Check it out, for sure!

American Thai food.

This place was is right next to where I’m staying (Redondo Inn and Suites). There is nothing like motel life and Thai food. Fortunately for us, this place is authentic and flavorful. I am very discerning with Thai food because I’ve lived in Thailand and the only difference here is that they have a storefront and portions are bigger. Food taste is the same!

The owners are incredibly nice! And the prices are super affordable. More than anywhere in LA for sure. The quality of the food is fantastic, and my go-to is pad see ew. Delicious flat noodles stir fried with sweet soy sauce with egg and your choice of protein.

Disappointed, terrible bland food. Beef tasted like they rubbed peanut butter in it! Gross! Pad Thai had no spice, no taste. Rip off!

Honestly not sure how this place is reviewed so well. I suppose if you haven't had Thai food, this might be okay. But if you have had Thai food and are craving it, you'll still be craving the flavors after eating here. Bland, none of the curries or noodles had flavor. Even the papaya salad was bland...I'm used to papaya salad with lime and spice... The liquid on their papaya salad tastes like water. It may have had a slight hint of lime, but definitely no spice.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant around here in terms of flavors, fresh dishes, quiet ambience, price, size of dishes, and price. It feels like places in Thailand. It's friendly. You can eat with friends, family, a friend, or eat alone and read or chat. It's comfortable. Go in for a leisurely meal and order as you go. The food is carefully prepared so take your time and enjoy it. Me? I try chicken curry everywhere. Here? Delish. Haven't tried Tom Yum Gai here yet.

My first Thai food experience was at the Thai Dishes up on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica way back in the 80's. Still one of the best that restaurants in Los Angeles County. This one in Redondo Beach has amazing food and a very friendly and accommodating wait staff. I can't wait to go back!
