Unfussy but polished Thai eatery serving classic dishes made with all-natural, organic ingredients.
I was craving papaya salad and was so excited to see it’s served here at Erawan! I tried to call in my takeout but nobody picked up the phone so I had to order online instead.
Pick up was quick and easy. I got the papaya salad and Tom Kha chicken coconut soup. The food was tasty but I felt that it was quite expensive for the portion size. My total was over $25 with tax for the soup and salad. For a $15 salad, I was hoping for more papaya salad and not a little papaya salad + a small wedge of lettuce. Overall, the food was yummy and I would order again on special occasions.
This is the best Thai food in Sandy Springs...period! The owner, Kate, is such a sweetheart and runs a successful clean restaurant! I've been coming here for years, and they always display a 100% health score rating! I love a restaurant that consistently delivers quality delectable dishes! I highly recommend and am a forever happy customer!
I feel that this is one of the better or best Thai restaurants I've been to in a long time. I feel like I would have given it a 4.5 out of five but I'll give it a five anyway. The reason why is because they open at late hours. 5:00 p.m.? But besides that I mean you can order I guess ahead of time on the app. And I don't know if it was at their clothes till like do whatever in the kitchen and then open back up. But that's it about the only complaint I have now. Now what I ordered. Oh man, there was some good stuff. I would suggest anybody get the shrimp bikini if you're a shrimp fan, it comes with a plum sauce or you can order the calamari. There are lightly spiced not too heavy on the hot side but it does come with a very tasty sauce with it. Also the chicken satay skewers those are pretty good. The peanut sauce is a little bit on the sweet side but it was still good and the puffed Curry pastry. That was delicious and it comes with another type of sauce. Can't remember cuz I ate it so fast. The place has a very nice ambiance to it. They have good, sturdy silverware and glasses. I know it sounds weird, but it's not your run-of-the-mill restaurant where they have cheap utensils. It does have a nice clean insides no sticky floors which is also a plus. No blaring music. Nice soft music and so far I like the place a lot.
I came to this restaurant and the restaurant wasn’t busy, my order took so long for them to bring me the food the lady that took our order is very rude. I noticed that they give priority to all the pickups orders than the one in the restaurant. I waited about one hour and 30 minutes. Our order was a very small order. I’m very disappointed and I feel not good for posting this review I normally liked to leave a good review but this was a very bad service and the bad attitude. There is a lady with short hair her name is Nancy she was very friendly and but the lady with a long hair Kate wasn’t polite. The food is good.
This restaurant is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. The atmosphere is incredibly hospitable and lovely. Excellent cuisine and incredibly kind and attentive servers. Furthermore, the cost of the food is reasonable. I will most definitely be returning to excellent establishment, which I heartily suggest to everyone!
The food here is excellent, however, ordering on DoorDash or through the website is a joke. Every time I come in to pick up my order (when it says it’s ready) I have to wait. Today we had a large order and I arrived to them telling me that only a few items have been completed. Waited over 20 minutes for the rest of the order. They seem disorganized and unable to handle take out in large volumes. If you order from here just give yourself extra time and practice patience.

Food was good. Service was fast too.
My experience ... Rude staff and overcooked shrimps. Will skip this place going forward !
Service very good and good very good
Hands down the best Thai food that I’ve ever had!
Food was so good, best Thai place I have eaten at

Always amazing! The only Thai I ever eat in the metro Atlanta area! Seriously, it's consistently good quality and delicious. Give them a try.

I got the calamari, it was very soft, fried to perfection. Not chewy at all. I really enjoyed it.
The duck noodle soup and mango with sticky rice are awesome. This is my second time at this restaurant, and I've ordered the same food both times.
This is literally my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Possibly my favorite restaurant of all time. I no longer live in Atlanta and every time I return this is the first place I go. The service is amazing and the food is so good. I have been coming here for the green curry since 2016, and it has only gotten better. Truly could not speak more highly of this place.
Called to place an order(just 4 items including a drink) but the lady did not understand what I said instead ended up being rude, which is unexpected in the service industry. While I was in for pickup, she forgot my drink but took payment for it. Oh my god!
Their cheese rolls and green curry are delicious. I order from Erawan Thai at least once a month and really enjoy it!
I've only ordered to go from here twice and its been phenomenal both times. The pad thai portion is perfect and the ladies at the front have always been polite and sweet. Theres multiple spicy levels and #2 is perfect without overpowering the dish. Overall amazing would highly recommend!
We were turned away at 840 pm when restaurant supposed to close at 10 pm. Reason being they needed to clean. Seriously ?

The food is phenomenal!
The food here is so good. The curry puffs were so soft had a nice sweet and savory flavor. The Panang curry is rich and flavorful. Wish the rice to stew ratio was a little better but other than that the food was delicious
Good Thai food
Excellent food in a high-end atmosphere
The service person was not very good, happy
Food was ok
They put 20% gratuity TIPS automatically on the Bill
I came in to pick-up a to-go order. I wasn’t acknowledged. Then walked up to the lady at the kiosk and said I was here for an order. She said, ok.
10 minutes go by. I’m not given an update or even told ‘apologies for the wait.’ I then just walked out.
The crispy duck
Yellow curry
And sticky mango rice
Everything was so well seasoned, curated and presented. The flavor profile was clean and sophisticated while keeping the traditional THAI recipe.
Amazing for a family night, meeting up with friends or a carry out stay in option.
The atmosphere transports you to Thailand and helps deliver the meal with star quality. The plates and cutlery is divine.
Excellent attention to detail
Best Thai in Atlanta
Great food great service. Roasted chilli fried rice is a must try! And it smells amazing inside the restaurant!
Best Thai food I had in the area
Amazing customer service and most importantly great quality food.
Years ago when I moved away from Atlanta I realized that I would never find a place like Erawan Organic Thai - fresh food made with fresh ingredients that has so much flavor that other places just can’t replicate. Whenever I am in back in the city I drive out to make sure I can get my fix for Thai food. Can never recommend highly enough
Great service and coffee!
Very delicious
Excellent Thai food. Great quality and authentic. Good takeout.
Great meal and friendly service. I always love coming here.
The restaurant is incredible The service is excellent The quality of the food is excellent will definitely become a regular.
Definitely overpriced for Thai food, even for Sandy Spring, but it's absolutely worth it. I order from here on a weekly basis.
The food here is fresh and always absolutely superb. I normally get the Basil Fried rice with chicken and shrimp, but my favorite is the spicy catfish and a side of Kanom jeep!
The crispy duck with basil was amazing
The foods was great and service was nice as well.. me and my husband really appreciated even they were busy at that time… i will come back again for sure.
Service was amazing, food was made with love.Atmosphere and music ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ definitely coming back, they also helped me make my wife’s day by gifting her a rose 🖤
Today I went to the restaurant with my family and we been here around 6.30pm The glasses lady seat us on the table and then after that 10mins we order the food, and wait over 30 minutes for them to bring our food. Abysmally slow service. They didn’t look busy at all, and then they visited other tables multiple times before even bringing out the drinks. And when bringing out drinks, The glasses lady slammed down the cup and made a face (🙄) at me when I said thank you.
Pas Thai and soup were amazing!!
I will be back to try everything else. 💙👌
First time in this location and it's a beauty inside a small strip center. Food was excellent
This is now a monthly lunch spot! Great service and food
Erawan Organic Thai Restaurant is truly exceptional. The inviting ambiance and attentive service set the stage for an authentic Thai dining experience. The Tom Kha soup, with its rich coconut milk base and harmonious blend of herbs and spices, is a standout. Equally impressive is the Pad Thai, featuring tender noodles, succulent shrimp, and a perfect medley of flavors. With a diverse menu crafted from fresh, organic ingredients, Erawan Organic Thai Restaurant promises a memorable and delicious Thai meal, making it a top choice for those seeking genuine and outstanding Thai cuisine.
It's the best Thai food in the area. All of the entrees are amazing including pad Thai and drunken noodles. The chicken satay is amazing. Highly recommend.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing also how clean it is. The food is incredible!!! Will be back again!
The restaurant is super clean and the food is YUM !
Food is fresh here ! Love the service
Ordered from here on a public holiday when everywhere else was closed. Had the spicy Thai basil fried rice and it was okay. Nothing special just your standard fried rice. Asked for Thai spicy and it really was super spicy!
Thank you for the recommendation Chef Alex. The food was amazing. Best Thai I ever had.
I got the sweet and sour chicken. It was so dry and stringy I couldn't eat it had to spit it back out.
I have ordered take out from them for about five years now. The ownership has changed hands after covid. The new owners have jacked up the prices and food is not as great as before.
So good!
Not authentic. Overpriced.
Excellent food and wide selection but somewhat crowded because of the large wine display at the entrance.
Food was just okay. And even after talking with them on the phone. They still did not get the order right. I just don't get it. I used to love this place back in the day. It was one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Not anymore. The quality of everything is just going down better to make your own food at home and stop giving these people your money.
This is our to go thai food restaurant. We usually carry out, food quality is consistent every time.
Delicious food. Not as many options for organic but we had the spring rolls and the salad and it was wonderful. Great atmosphere as well, very accommodating!
My partner and I frequently talk about how delicious and professional this place is! We have ordered from them about 10 times now and they have never made a mistake or anything negative. We love this place!
Came to dine here, after a long time. I used to love this place. Prices are now pretty high compared to before.
But thats not the issue - we ordered the chicken satay and 2 of the skewers were raw. I told the server and she said she’ll go to heat them up, Ahhhh no, thanks! I refused as since you serve it raw im not sure that i can trust anything after that.
When the bill came, the raw satay was still on the bill and the server said that the chef said they were fine and that ill need to pay for it.
This is the last time i dine here. They lost my business!
I've been coming here for lunch and sometimes dinner for 16 years and they have always had great food and great service. I recommend anything on the menu, it will always be fresh and delicious!
Truly good place to satisfy your cravings for Asian food, specifically a Thai food
I just stumbled on this place and I decided to take a chance because the name was so appealing. However when I walked into the restaurant, all of the employees were busy looking at their phones. I was not greeted upon entry into this establishment. After my lunch was at my table, the waitress didn't have much else to say. Not even to ask if everything was OK. The food was phenomenal, but first impressions are everything. You never forget how someone makes you feel. The food was amazing, but I will never patronize this restaurant in the future.
I’m pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The grass fed beef red curry was RIDICULOUSLY good. And the service was great, even for takeout.
Delivery was fast and delivered with courtesy. I was sent a text to advise when on its way. Arrived so hot that egg rolls were still crunchy.
Pad see ew excellent. So was everything else. My daughter is well travelled and advised best Thai food she has eaten outside of Thailand. We agree!
Absolutely delicious and fresh.
Best wonton soup I've ever had in my life. No exaggeration, you will never want this soup from anywhere else again. Trust me, try it!
First time there. Never had Thai. The service was warm, the food was hot. I enjoyed my experience.
Very racist they ignored me while seating individuals who came after us. They were rude and basically threw the menu at me when I asked why I wasn’t being served.
better ingredients better Thai food. best Thai in ATL. My go to is the yellow curry with chicken. Carrots, potatoes and chicken are cook perfectly with great flavored curry.
Clean fresh and excellent tasting food!
I’ve ordered here a few times before and i always order the same thing. I ordered pad see ew through their website not a third party app. The menu says pad see ew has carrots and broccoli in a brown soy based sauce. Through the app I requested no broccoli and extra carrots. I pick up my order which was done pretty quickly however I didn’t check before I left. I get home get ready to eat when I notice a bunch of different vegetables in my noodle dish that I know don’t come in the dish I ordered. I called to see if I can bring it back and get the correct dish I ordered since i had spent $19. The lady I spoke with tried to argue me down like I had made a mistake during my order, she tried to tell me that I should have ordered my dish and put “no vegetables” but on the menu and through ordering this dish plenty of times before it is only served with carrots and broccoli. The dish I had received had onions, bell peppers, snow peas, mushrooms and a bunch of other things I rather not eat. The lady on the phone then told me I needed to reach out to the website I ordered the food through. I advised her I ordered directly through their website. We went back and forth a few times and I told her I just wanted what I ordered and I assured her after a long day I definitely didn’t want to come back up there and waste my time nor theirs. She then told me pad see ew didn’t have bell peppers in it which furthers my point of they gave me the wrong order. Which I understand mistakes happen but she acted like it was my fault I didn’t order the right thing and never really gave a solution. She just asked how long it would take for me to come back (never apologized for my inconvenience and even interrupted me a few times) and I said I could be back in 5 minutes and she said ok and hung up the phone. I went back and she must have seen me come through the door and walked toward me and placed my corrected order on the table and didn’t hand it to me and took the bag with the incorrect order and never said a word to me during this exchange. I frequent here often and usually enjoy my food but I will not be returning.
What a rip off. Ordered a large soup and the container was half empty.
Placed an order online and the pickup time was 45 mins later. Arrived and the soup was ready on the table and I was able to quickly grab it. Got home, excited and the soup was half empty. Apparently paying double for a large just means the container is larger but not the quantity of the soup. Was also very cold. I used to really like this place, but apparently it should be avoided during any type of dinner hours. Won’t be returning after this.
Best pad Thai of my life
Ordered some food for pickup. Everything was hot and excellent! The Thai Curry was delicious, highly reccomend!
WARNING: They are not fully organic, and we believe even use traditional sauces and condiments.
If you are not fully immersed in an organic, chemical free lifestyle, then order the food here - its delicious!
However, the few of us that adhere to that lifestyle, may have a ruff time. I use to own restaurants myself, and understand the hardship associated with organic dining. You guys obviously put attention and care into your food - but making your own sauces is not only going to provide a better experience, its one of the highest cost-per-serving items you offer. So you REALLY should.
While veggies and chicken are readily available and cost efficient, beef and noodles can harder. Beef is especially hard, but there are farms that adhere to organic farming, but cannot take on the costs for certification. With a little effort, you can find one (or msg me, I'd be happy to help).
I left 5 stars, as I understand I am the minority here (and the effort is appreciated), but there are other reviewers that seemed to share my disappointment.
We feel drained, and just awoke from a chemical coma. Not the experience I think you are trying to deliver.
While people that eat traditional food probably feel great not realizing it's the absence of chemicals causing it.
We will be in GA in a few months, and look forward to see if this had any impact.
Delicious Thai
The best Thai food in Atlanta! We have eaten Thai food all over the area and Erwan is the most authentic Thai food we have had here. The dishes takes just like they should and what you would expect only better! You will not be disappointed!
Their food is consistently delicious
This is our go-to restaurant. The food is fresh, healthy and flavorful.
Customer service is great as well.
Good Pad Krapow Gai and Pad Thai.
I have been going to Erawan for over 15 years. I don’t know what I would do without this place. Hands down best Thai food in the area.
I mostly order drunken noodles and it’s so perfect every time, I’ve never had a bad experience before. Used to dine in a lot before Covid, but it’s a great dinner option that gives you lots of food.
Best Thai food I've had in ATL. Reminds me of this incredible place in LA. The Tom Yum soup is legitimately mind-blowing. Get the medium spicy and life your best life.
DO NOT GO HERE! The price you see is NOT the price you get. Food is mediocre and WAY overpriced. They will short you or over charge if you don't pay attention.AVOID
Not very busy. Service was slightly slow considering few diners on the floor but was not a serious issue.
I have been so surprised by the authentic dishes from here. Every time i order something most Americans don’t order I am shocked by how amazing it is. Order the curry at least once in each spiciness. Order the duck, the catfish, something you don’t think sounds “normal”, its always amazing.
Ordered Thai Basil friend rice with egg ok but no mushrooms . added mushrooms & fried rice didn’t have any salt or egg
Food is good. And they have organic meet. And sone menus with organic veggies... Thats a start. But of you want to eat a full organic meal your wrong here. For example, All The sauces are non house made. They come from ab Asian store, packed with Stabilisators, e-numbers, sugars etc
This is my go to place for pad see ew a couple times per month. Very consistent and always good and spicy.
We showed up 2 mins before they were closing between the lunch and dinner shifts. Even so, they were so nice and still accepted our food to go order. Food was really delicious, nice amount of spicy heat too. So glad we stopped. We enjoyed Eggplant with Tofu (really nice amount of Tofu too), Pad Paw Chicken (hubby is usually not a fan of Thai, but he loved this), Spring Rolls (nice and juicy fresh) & Bikini Shrimp (nice size shrimp).Win Win
Arrived starving, sign in window said takeout only due to covid. Thumbs down.
Their item listed as Pad Kra Pao is misleading/incorrect. I've had Pad Kra Pao at multiple Thai restaurants and found the dish at Erawan inconsistent in regards to preparation/ingredients with what I had in the past and what you find with a simple Google search.
Was disappointed. Was happy to see Pad krapow on the menu but it is not authentic. Says pork is minced on the menu like real pad krapow but instead it’s thick slices of pork and chunky vegetables. Soupy sauce, no fried egg with rice.
Only ever gotten take out. Top ten best food I've had in Atlanta. I've lived in L.A. and Tokyo. Usually Atlanta restaurants don't even hold a candle to them. But this is the best. Flavorful. Fresh.
5 stars just for having Duck Noodle Soup :)
It was delicious!
Will be coming back for more.
Fantastic food. Great quality and healthy. Very good service as well..
This mom and pop Thai restaurant is amazing!
The Crispy duck is my absolute favorite meal. we've pretty much tried everything on the menu with no duds.
I highly recommend!
Love this place. The only place I get Asian food
pad thai was good, but not $17 good.
We ordered off Uber and all the protein was overcooked in all the dishes. Pretty disappointed. Only thing I liked was they actually have holes in the Styrofoam containers for the appetizers so it won't steam and get soggy.
This is probably one of the most amazing Thai food places I have ever been too. Prompt service, great decor and most importantly, amazing food!! Everything was so good. I can’t wait to come back and try other things.
Good is consisting great! Best wonton soup ever
Blown away by my Spicy Thai Fried Rice with Basil and chicken. So darn yummy and just enough kick to make you thirsty! My friend had the Roasted Duck salad and it was delicious too… Fantastic homemade dressing and lovely presentation. Thanks Erawan Thai for yet another great meal. Happy to support this small business in Sandy Springs!
Excellent food!!!
My friend and I had so much delicious food that we could take a meal home with us. Wonderful service.
Pricey food. Nothing close to food in Thailand. And I have been there many many times. 👎
They have unethical business practices and their mango used for desert is not ripe and is very bitter. Manager doesn’t speak English well and not receptive to criticism,
Fresh flavorful fantastic meal. Perfect size and taste
Roaches in food
👍
Great Food!
Very delicious food!
Believe all the good reviews on here. This place is fresh! Chicken basil thai hot was so good, veggies were crisp, good portion of chicken, and organic brown rice!
We had satay, gyoza and calamari for appetizer and their Thai fried rice and green curry for entrees. Food was absolutely phenomenal. My only complaint, if any, was that some of their sauces were too watery.
horrible service, owner is rude, condescending, and tries to cheat prices/items. Ordered here for a long time and finally had enough. Will never order again. Do not support this business.
I used to love this place, food is good. Service is horrible. Cheap you out of things at every chance i.e. sides, egg rolls, etc. Lost a long time customer today will not be ordering again.
Nice taste
We recently ordered vegetables thai fried rice , fish cake and pad pix khing and thai curry (organic chicken) . It's was really good and fresh spicy .
awesome food, great service! My family and I have been ordering from Erawan for years and everything we have tried is delicious. The massaman curry, tom kha, cashew nut chicken, spring rolls, the fish...all of it is awesome. And the service is great, even now that we are only doing take out!
I love the sweet and sour chicken as well as the cream cheese crab rolls! Too bad I only discovered this place post covid— it would be nice to go inside to eat! They need to open up and do reservations or something like all the other restaurants... I would definitely go there more often if they did! I get tired of take out— you miss the whole fun part of going out, being waited on, the atmosphere, etc...
It says it’s an organic place. And the food might be organic but something in the food is not organic. I think they used non organic salt or msg or something artificial in the sauce or something. So now I can’t eat it cause I get may not stomach pains whenever I eat something artificial. Kinda disappointed cause the price was so good. And it was so much food.
You have to order 20 mn and when you be there you wait 40 mn more
Love Erawan's! Lovely, amazing people and terrific food. We've been customers for 27 years and we are grateful for their presence in Sandy Springs.
VERY VERY good Thai food. I’ve tried almost every Thai joint in this town, and let me tell you.... Erawan might just be my 2nd favorite Thai restaurant in Atlanta (Surin in Virginia Highlands is my #1). The food is truly authentic and has unbelievable flavor and spice. If you want really consistent, delicious Thai food for a decent price... look no further. I will continue to regularly order food from this restaurant for a long time.
My 1st Order . Ordered the Basil Chicken with Jasmine Rice , The Chicken was tough and very chewy overcooked or frozen may be. The flavor was OK at least the spice level was as per the order. May be its due to Covid as their ratings are not that bad . Will give it another shot .
This is my new go to for Thai!!! Drunken noodle was great. Will definitely be back.
Recommend the crispy and/honey duck as well as the 3 flavour snapper
I've been coming here since the beginning near the Lamborghini dealership. Service depends on who u get. Owners r always cordial but weren't there lastnite. We got the bald male server. He was very helpful with menu suggestions and take home packaging. Ponytailed helper did not smile at all. I think u have to pay her for those. 🤣She barely gave us eye contact but gave her tables big smiles! Watch out for the icy treatment🥶
First time customer (takeout) and ordered Pad Thai with grass fed beef and Tom Kha soup. Both are so flavorful and fantastic but I did medium spiciness and will do mild next time! Can’t imagine what Thai hot must be like!
I've only ever done takeout. The food is consistently good no matter what I've ordered. Ingredients taste fresh and dishes are full of flavor.
Ordered the masaman curry and the garlic duck on Ubereats. The duck was incredible so crunchy and tasty. The masaman curry was also insanely good! Give this place a chance! They deserve it!
Always good and fresh! Friendly staff
My family and I LOVE Erawan Thai and eat here frequently. We love that they have organic and dairy free options, plus a lot of the food is gluten free which is great for us as well. The restaurant is very clean, the food is always fresh and the owners are lovely people. Below are our favorite dishes.
1. Tom Yum Soup & Tom Kha - If we are feeling under the weather this will open you right up.
2. Roasted Duck Salad - This is a delicious salad full of fresh veggies and the chili paste on the duck is delicious.
3. Honey Ginger Duck - This dish is rich but delicious! Great flavors!
4. Pa-Nang Curry and Matsaman Curry - Both curry dishes are dairy free and are delicious, great flavors. I always ask for extra veggies. So yummy!
Very tasty. Green curry, garlic shrimp, and garden rolls were yummy. Fresh ingredients. Recommend.
Love the service, love the food. The BEST Thai food I ever tasted. Me and my family use to eat the at least once a week. My kids love the sweet and sour chicken. They make the BEST sweet and sour sauce EVER!!!
Delicious food. Ordered online multiple times. You have to pick up.
Racist and fraudulent business practices! Since the fire, they changed for the worst. Portion sizes are smaller, the owner is rude and untrustworthy. She knew she upcharged me because she refused to give an itemized receipt for my to-go order. Instead, she provided generic receipts (see photos). I did the math from the menu and calculated my orders to be:
Chicken Tom kha soup $8
Matsaman beef $8.50
Mango sticky rice $5
Total $21.50 + 7.75% tax ($1.67)= $23.17
NOT $31.25 and I left a $4 tip= $35.25
I've long supported this restaurant for 10+ years. No way to treat a loyal customer who referred many customers here. Now I have to go through the ordeal of filing a cc dispute. They should be ashamed.
