Service was great. They r very busy. The food was ok. I should have known the good wasn't going to be exceptional, when the Thai Iced tea was not sweet enough.

Diner Review №2

This is my first time ordering from this place. Maybe it was because it was Uber'd, but it was a little pricey. I expected a little more food on my plate when the total for one meal goes up to $27.
The food was average. Thai is a better option than the other stuff around the area. My Pad Thai was a little dry.
Update I've ordered for delivery three more times and each time is worse. They always forget something. This time they have me the order completely wrong. But I called and they corrected it for me.

I can't say enough great things about Good Thai Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the owner and her family made us feel like we were dining in their home rather than a restaurant. Their warmth and generosity truly set this place apart.

Now, onto the food—everything was absolutely amazing! We ordered Pad Thai with shrimp, chicken noodle soup with added ginger, eggplant stir-fry with beef, and crab fried rice, and each dish was packed with incredible flavor. To top it off, we had mango with sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet and creamy ending to our meal.

The ambiance is just as wonderful as the food! It’s a cute, inviting space with plenty of seating, and I loved the TVs displaying rotating pictures of the menu. The menu itself is also filled with photos of the dishes, which makes ordering so much easier—such a great touch!

If you're looking for authentic, delicious Thai food served with genuine hospitality in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place to be. I can't wait to come back!

DELICIOUS! 🤤 and lovely family 🥰 I have a favourite childhood location for Pad Thai that I am no longer near to, and I have always struggled to find a new Pad Thai I enjoy. This might even beat my childhood favourite 🥹 had the shrimp wontons, eggplant stir fry, crab rice, ice tea boba YUMMMMMM TO IT ALL!! Will be back 🫶 P.S. do yourself a favor and get the coconut rice + mango for dessert 😉

I've ordered both delivery and in person. Don't bother with delivery. The print size is smaller. You probably won't get your sides. The price is higher in the Uber eats app, their preferred app.
But the food is tasty! I recommend everything, just walk in.

10/10 amazing underrated thai food in LA. It's authentic and really good, pretty reasonably priced. They deserve more love the service is also phenomenal

Diner Review №16

My favorite Thai restaurant in LA. We usually do to-go, and it is a restaurant that always satisfies us in terms of quantity, quality, and price. And we always walk there because it is within walking distance.
I was always sad when several restaurants in the same location closed down, but I hope Good Thai Kitchen will continue to operate well for a long time.
The parking lot is a bit inconvenient, so please understand that.

Diner Review №17

My best friend and I absolutely love this place!! The owner, AJ, is absolutely wonderful and the food here is phenomenal!

Our go-tos are the chili and basil with ground chicken, the pad kee mao with fried tofu, the tom yum with chicken, and the chicken satay. We absolutely loved our meal here and will be back.

As long-time customers of Hot Thai, which closed in January of 2024, we are so thrilled that AJ opened a new restaurant. Good Thai Kitchen is a perfect, casual, delicious spot. The service is fantastic, and the food is to die for.

We are so happy our favorite Thai spot is back and better than ever! 🍜💚

WOW. For $12 we got a plate of pad Thai that came with 2 veggie rolls and rice. I’m shocked about the price and quality. Authentic Thai food. We showed up around 10:30 trying to enter , we didn’t know it opened at 11am - so the gentlemen there was lovely and told us to wait 10 minutes and he would help us out. Such nice people , that was a plus! Recommend this place!!

Diner Review №21

Excellent and honest Thai food. It's probably one of the best in (all of) LA, and you wouldn't even know it based on the ambience. If you like Thai food, you have to come try this place.

Thank you

Diner Review №24

Delicious food and great customer service!

Diner Review №25

Small, hole in the wall type place. But it is so good and the waiter was very kind. Pad Thai was the best I've had in California

Diner Review №26

Most definitely recommending this spot to all!!!
The flavors, the flavors, the flavors! They captured the, well balanced, authentic - ness of the dishes. So many Thai spots in L.A. but this non assuming place really hits every time. The Chilli basil chicken (med. Spicey) is so delicious. Not blazing hot, but just right. The Pad thai also very well done. Not smothered in an overly sweet sauce like a loooot of places do nowadays. Same for the mango sticky rice. Nice even sweetness to the rice, not mushy not drenched in sweetness. Listen , they have an ALL DAY $12 specials Menu along with regular menu. The $12 is like the lunch special at other spots abut here it's ALL DAY. portions are not skimpy. You get a vegetable egg roll and veggie potsticker with the special. The Thai ice tea is big and again not full of sugar. Just perfect. Really awesome service from the staff and the place is always clean. Highly, highly recommended.

Best Thai food ever had and I came all the way from Portland, Oregon where there's a lot of Thai places there not even close to how this one tastes

Diner Review №31

The best Thai food we’ve ever had! This is our second time eating here while waiting for our car to be taken care of at Dr. Autosound down the street. We’ve eaten all over LA and nothing compares. It’s a fairly new place and small but the food is excellent! The flavors aren’t overwhelming yet flavorful enough. We have ordered, tofu pad thai, chicken satay, combination fried rice, orange chicken, mango and sticky rice. Everything is deliciously filling 😋 we’ll definitely keep coming back and recommending. The staff is excellent as well , above and beyond service. If they’re busy they’ll take a while but worth it for sure!

Diner Review №32

Excellent food with friendly and attentive staff. They made me feel like I was back in Thailand.

Diner Review №33

The staff is super friendly and food is amazing, highly recommended if you are in the area. Tom yum noodle soup was perfectly spiced and seasoned the broth is to die for.

The best place to get Thai food in Ktwon. I’ve lived here for 2 years. Food is fresh. Egg rolls are bomb, best I’ve had in a while. Chicken basil super good. Pad Thai is amazing

Diner Review №37

$10 doesn’t take you very far these days, but it fed me at this lovely restaurant! I got the pad thai which comes with a egg roll, potsticker, and rice (I opted out of it,) and a $4 Thai tea and left full! The portion was perfect and the food was actually fire! The pad thai was savory and not as sweet as other places which I appreciated. I got chicken with it and it wasn’t dry at all which rarely happens in my experience! So stoked about that too!

- the service was perfect and because the space isn’t huge, they’re attentive and not overly attentive!
- the space itself is perfect to grab a bite but isn’t a fancy date spot; honestly I would go here for a date anyway because of the value and quality!
- The parking lot is semi-limited but you should be able to find a spot whatever day you decide on going! So glad to have driven by and decided to take a chance on this joint. Definitely coming back!

Diner Review №38

Omg!!!! This place is soooooo good! I wish we had this in Denver. Food was absolutely delicious also very good prices. Will come back before I leave back home.

Diner Review №39

I went for lunch and the place was spotless. They went over and above service for me. The menu is traditional Thai and I have been looking for a good place to get Thai food in the neighborhood. They answered my wishes.

It's really hard to open a small restaurant and trying to juggle every aspect of that type of business. I have been to a lot of restaurants, and this is a keeper.

Too many street vendors that don't pay rent here in the neighborhood. Where are their reviews? I truly wish for their continued success.

Diner Review №40

Great place. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Food is excellent. We ordered from $10 menu lunch, very tasty and affordable.

Diner Review №41

New Thai restaurant in Koreatown. Delicious and very good price. Excellent service!

Diner Review №42

A small group of us came in for the all day special and it was a lot of food for $10! We were pleasantly surprised and it tasted amazing. Fast service and clean establishment.

Diner Review №43

Great spot right on the edge of Koreatown. This is my 4th time. I love the Pad Thai and the curry. I love the beef noodle soup too. I have some both done in and take out- this time was take out. Good prices too-for 2 people I have always spent only between 20 & 28 depending on if I ordered the dinner special or not. And easy parking for koreatown- good alternative to bbq places with long lines and no parking. Also I wasn’t sure if I wanted to add photos since I had already started eating when I remembered to take photos- but here the good food I be had here.

Diner Review №44

My new favorite Thai food spot. The food isn't greasy as other places and the flavor is good. I got shrimp fried rice and paw see ew.

Diner Review №45

Amazing delicious Thai food

Diner Review №46

Great food! Had Pad thai and yellow curry and both of the dishes were very tasty!

Diner Review №48

Great Thai food available in Ktown! My wife and I have ordered from here a few times after seeing them open and it’s become a neighborhood favorite of ours.

Their various curry dishes are so delicious!

Diner Review №49

Food's pretty decent and affordable. But when I sat down, my table was gross—covered in food and oil stains. They really need to step up their cleaning game for a better environment and hygiene.

Diner Review №50

You guys really need to give more rice for the lunch special. Its wayyy too little

Diner Review №51

Great food , great service and very friendly staff.

Diner Review №52

Love this new spot!! Definitely my go to spot whenever my tummy desires authentic Thai food👌🏼 absolutely recommend this place!

I visited a new Thai restaurant in LA this week and it was very impressive with great food and fast service. It reminded me of a Bangkok restaurant. I had the yellow curry and tom yum soup. I highly recommend it.
