Colorful bowls line a wall of this cool, cozy place serving contemporary Thai street food & sangria.
I’ve been a long-time customer of this restaurant, mostly ordering through UberEats. Their food is usually delicious, and I’ve been satisfied with most of my orders. However, my last two experiences were disappointing—I found a piece of a metal scrubber in my food. I contacted UberEats, but they weren’t helpful in resolving the issue. I really hope the restaurant sees this and takes steps to improve food safety and cleanliness because I’d love to continue ordering from them. Please take this seriously and improves its food safety standards.
The food, the atmosphere and the service are great. I’m from northern Malaysia where Thai food is fairly accessible, so I know authentic Thai food when I taste one. Our favorite is the drunken noodles, it is spicy enough to satisfy our Southeast Asian palette lol but not too much. Soft-shelled crab and mango salad is good too although I personally prefer my mango not so ripe; some dried shrimps would be perfect too. But I suppose those ingredients may be hard to get here. Mango sticky rice has the right balance of sweet and savory, I really love the addition of the crispy mung beans to it.
Overall we had great dining experience there and would recommend to anyone who is looking to eat authentic Thai food in the city. 👍🏼
This cozy spot is serving up contemporary Thai street foods that are a burst of flavor! The colorful bowls on the walls add to the inviting atmosphere, matched only by the friendly staff’s warmth.
We tried the steam branzino fish, it was so fresh and flavorful. If you like noodles , try the Bamee, it is loaded with succulent crab meat and charsiu pork, creating a true taste sensation. And for those craving something grilled to perfection, the moo ping grilled pork skewers are an absolute must-try! Each dish is a culinary journey through Thailand’s bustling streets.
Don’t forget to pair your meal with their tantalizing cocktails for the perfect flavor combination. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or simply seeking a delicious dining experience, this place has it all.

Cute Cosy Thai in Hell's Kitchen opens at 12:00pm, and the place fills up quickly. Despite the rush, the service is impressively swift. Their portions are generous, and the four dishes we tried were all delicious. It's a cozy spot with fantastic food and prompt service, making it a definite go-to for a satisfying Thai meal in the area.

High ratings because of free desserts, but the food is great and priced at a reasonable price. I would totally revisit.
Cozy spot with great food, service and nice ambiance!
We stumbled across Noodies when we were looking for dinner before our Broadway show and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and the service was just perfect. Thank you so much!
Amazing food and vibes!
I literally found a strand of hair in my food, yet the staff was so unapologetic. Food was average so was the Thai iced tea.
Always fresh and delicious. Good portions. Many Thai mainstays and other noodle and non-noodle specialties too! Lunch specials available daily. Best Tom Yum Soup in the area. Great efficient service in a cozy, well decorated colorful space.
Highly recommend the drunken noodles, the Thai chili + lime steamed fish, and the crab fried rice. Honestly, you can't go wrong with most anything from this menu.
Servizio ottimo. Consigliato prenotare.
Decent Thai food but not exceptional
If you're vegan beware that the curry has dairy in addition to the coconut milk which I think is odd.
Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time, everything was delicious!
Finally got the chance to try this place! Absolutely enjoyed my time here. The food was flavorful and the waitress was so sweet throughout my dining experience and when I wrapped my food up to go, they stapled it so cute. Would highly recommend coming to this place for lunch, it’s affordable.
My new favorite Thai place :). Food was 10/10 and service 10/10. It’s a small place but they’re very accommodating even for our pup who was with us. Can’t wait to be back!
cozy, great food, very friendly and accommodating hosts, though occasionally it's muggy in summer
I did an order with Uber and never arrived!!!! I tried to call several times and don't answer the phone!!!!! So so bad service
TERRIBLE place!! I made a ubereats delivery order at this place at 7pm on a Monday night. After an hour of waiting the food had not even been made yet. I tried to call the restaurant but their number went straight to voicemail. I waited another 30mins and they still had not made the food. Eventually cancelled the order but will never get the complete waste of time back. If this is a tech issue then the restaurant needs to fix both (i) their ubereats service and (ii) their listed phone number. Will not order from here again.
Order delivery window is 10:00-10:10. called the restaurant at 10:20 to check in, they said it was coming. 40 mins after I called again to let them know order never got delivered. They said I cancelled. I cancelled 40 mins after your delivery window. I am not happy when business don’t take the responsibility. A simple apology goes a long way.
Omg! I can’t believe found another authentic Thai cuisine in manhattan in this cozy place
They have contemporary Thai street foods, OMG, they are a burst of flavor and all staffs are wonderfully friendly
Have u ever try steam branzino fish? Will be surprised, it was so fresh and flavorful, it’s was my favorite dishes.
Curry Chicken was super creamy and had perfect spicy level. Pineapple is perfectly balance it out.
Definitely will come back when I’m near Hell’s Kitchen.
This was the best chicken pad see-ew and soft tofu penang curry!! The curry was a good spicy level and had pineapple to balance it out. Packaged great for delivery, can’t wait to go in person!!
Hands down the BEST Thai food in NYC! I make the trip across boroughs to come here at least once a month because the food is so delicious!! I've tried many dishes here and each one is amazing and so flavorful! Drinks are also delicious and the staff are wonderfully friendly! If you come here for the first time, definitely try the Kuay Jab!
As a non fish eater, I appreciate this restaurant so much cause they have a lot of vegetarian options. Most Thai dishes have fish oil or oyster sauce. therefore it’s hard to find a place like this place which is friendly to vegetarians. Taste was sooo good as well. I will definitely come back when I wanna eat Thai food.

I made it in time for the Lunch Specials. Ordered the Drunken Noodles with a side of Tom Yum Soup. The noodles were so tasty with lots of veg and some huge fresh prawns. As someone who can take a lot spice, the spiciness was just right. What is Drunken Noodle if its not spicy, right? The Tom Yum soup had the right amount of oomph!
Good food. Thai spicy taste. Love it

Delicious and spot on food, seriously some of the best Thai I've had 13 years in the city.
This place is a great vibe. Amazing workers and great food! Will definitely be bad! Oh yeah the happy hour is amazing
Very good and authentic, menu with pictures, and great atmosphere
Great food, great service. I got the drunken noodles and the Tom Kha soup. Really good!
Excellent food, and the staff are very polite and attentive.
I ordered vegetable fried rice with tofu on it. It was extremely oily and tofu wasn’t fresh. I also got stomach ache after my lunch. I ordered vegetable fried rice but it didn’t have veggies except some onions and broccoli stems.
Never ever going back
Cute, hole in the wall vibes Thai restaurant. The waitress is very friendly. We got the papaya salad medium spice and I got the drunken noodles with chicken also medium spice. The papaya salad was not spicy at all, but the drunken noodles had me chugging water. The flavor was great though! I ended up switching dishes with my friend who got the crab fried rice, which was also tasty. Definitely large food portions, and would come back knowing that I should get mild spicy noodles.
Food was delicious and very authentic,

This place is extraordinary. The Pad Thai rocks, and they have amazing drunken noodles. Service is pretty good, and the food only takes about 10 minutes to prep. Wide variety of drinks and not crowded at all. Great restaurant, and I recommend for any NYC visit, short or long.
Excellent experience, food was amazing very authentic. Service very nice and polite. Definitely come back again.
Tasty food and fast service. Restroom all the way in the back. Nice decor, a bit pricey.
Went in for lunch at 2pm. Got overcharged by $6. I was told I couldn’t get a refund and it was my fault that I didn’t specify the lunch menu, at lunch time.
I love this place! drunken noodle is one of my favorites I've ever had
The food was delicious and fresh, very cute and cozy place, would love to come back and eat in.
Thai shrimp fried rice is the best
Excellent Thai food!! We ordered Chicken Basil, Duck Panang Curry & Pad Thai noodle, & Thai ice tea, very authentic, so good, place is quick and very clean! Luv the ambience too!! 😍
By Hell’s Kitchen, you will find The Noodies Thai Kitchen right on 9th Avenue. Walk inside to discover lots and lots of bowls on one wall and a beautiful painting on another. Bathroom even got an exact painting of the restaurant’s interior from the outside. It’s a small but authentic Thai restaurant that you usually find in Thailand so make sure to come early as they get filled up quick. We usually do not like fried fresh fish but they managed to keep the freshness flavor even after deep frying it. The sauce is made in-house which guarantees that you won’t be able to find that flavor anywhere else. Beef soup is constantly warmed in a pot which is perfect for this chilly weather with the broth tasting better than any pho noodle broth. Most importantly, it’s not too salty and it actually quenches your thirst after having that soup. Don’t miss out their happy hour from 5-9pm for their house-made sangria for $5 a glass or $20 a pitcher. Even though the server was super busy taking care of everyone including phone calls, takeouts, and walk-in customers, she managed it with a friendly smile while making sure everyone is served properly and efficiently. Come enjoy their excellent cocktails and drinks while pampering your taste buds with authentic Thai culinary arts.

In 10 years and countless Thai food experiences, I can confidently say that this is the best Thai for your buck. First of all, it’s cozy. You feel like you’re at home with family. I went with two of my best friends for a casual meal and it was one of those meals you eat slowly so it doesn’t finish. If you know, you know. I’ll be back.
Highlight Apps: Fried vegetable dumplings | Fried chicken
Highlight Meal: Just point to the picture of the beef with noodles on their QR. It’s not on the online menu but it was 10/10.
Highlight Drinks: Watermelon Margarita, fresh juice | Thai Iced Tea
Sorry, folks this Thai restaurant is low end. The lady owner/employee needs some training in hosting tables and taking orders. She very impatient and rude.
My Tom Kha seafood soup had nothing fresh in it except the cherry tomatoes, scallions, mushrooms and shrimp. Fish balls and calamari was frozen, thawed and had terrible fishy taste.
Cute little Thai restaurant. Drunken noodles were on point. Their bathroom was surprisingly nice for such a small place.
Delicious! We had the larb, calamari, fried fairy mushrooms, ba-mm, drunken noodle, massaman curry.
The place feels like a local Thai eatery. The food and service are good.
Such a cute place, love the decor and the food comes out quick and tastes amazing
Drunken noodles are a must, panang curry, sticky rice with mango 🥭, etc. Very authentic.
And for drinks, this Yuzu Sake was deadly. Finished the whole bottle in one sitting.
Also the lady working there is incredible. Works so hard managing multiple tables and does a phenomenal job.
Great food, friendly staff, clean bathroom.
The 10-20 pricing is super misleading
Muy rico y limpio
Delicious food! I think this is the best chicken prik king I’ve had. Their mango sticky rice is also amazing for those with sweet tooth. The place is clean but small so it’s not ideal for big groups. Service is good. The staff is efficient. Not too much chit chat (which is how I prefer it) but they make sure your water is filled and used plates are taken from the table right away.
Once inside it feels like beeing in Thailand. The food is very authentic and of course delicious.
Okay, I don’t usually write food reviews. When I do it’s usually because either I LOVED everything about it or I am just SUPER disappointed!
The service of this place was beyond disgusting! The lady that usually takes the order has super NASTY attitude!! This wasn’t my first time going in there.. first time I went and saw her attitude I ignored it thinking maybe she was just having a bad day BUT this is just how she is!!! She makes us feel very unwelcoming and disrespectful as well.
NOT GOING THERE EVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF HER!
I don’t know her name but she was working today. I went during lunch time!!
I don’t know how she’s allowed to work there but people like her is enough to ruin someone’s day!
A tiny Thai spot located in the Hell's Kitchen section on the super busy and trendy 9th Ave strip. My coworker and I stopped here last night for the first time. Their sangria happy hour sign outside the restaurant drew us in. They are promoting $5 per glass and $20 per carafe from 5 pm to 9 pm every day. The catch is it's only for red sangria so if you don't care for or like red wine you're out of luck. However, after sharing a carafe with my friend you're really not missing out. Their red sangria is decent at best. It isn't made with love. I mean it isn't terrible and it got us to where we needed to be. I just wouldn't recommend anyone to go out of their way just to come here for sangria. So many places do it better. Their food on the other hand is a different story. So flavorful and tasty. I enjoyed my Pad See-Ew with chicken and my friend enjoyed her Pad Woon Sen with chicken. The problem I had with my Pad See-Ew dish is it wasn't made spicy like I originally requested when I placed my order with our server Joyze. When I brought this to her attention she wasn't apologetic at all. She just grabbed a jar of chili sauce and put it on the table.
As far as our server Joyze, her customer service wasn't good at all and the tip we left her reflected just that. She was so impatient when it came to us asking questions and ordering food. We felt rushed. Yes there were other customers in the restaurant but she always dashed off before we could complete a sentence. She needs to work on her customer service skills.
Overall it's a beautiful little restaurant (the colorful plates sprawled across the wall and the chandelier are stunning). The food is really good. The sangria is blah, as well as the service. I recommend takeout from here instead of dine in.
I will give you zero star if there's option.
On Friday, my coworkers and I visited there because one of my coworkers recommended it.
We grabbed a table as we walked in and there was no other customer.
From the beginning, the girl who took the order had very unpleasant attitude. When we ask, can we order now? She flipped the finger and "hold on"
We were like "hmm" but okay. Then we ordered the food and drinks. My coworker was ordering a drink and while still talking to the girl, she walked away.
We were like whatever, it is Friday, let's not ruin our day. So the foods came and in the middle of having it, my coworker was like, Last time she was there there was soup and salad option that you can choose because there's lunch special. So my coworker asked her, and she goes "yes this is lunch special" and we asked, how come we don't get it? And she replied, "you didn't say you want it, it is in the menu."
When lunch special is served, usually servers ask if we want either soup or salad.
And honestly, salad and soup wasn't a big deal but how she said it like it was our fault. During the visit this restaurant, the waitress was rude, snappy and cranky.
When we asked for separate checks, she frowned her face so we ended up paying in one check.
Foods were okay and close to my work but I AM NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!
Very rude waitress.
Had the duck noodle soup. That broth was absolutely killer. Also, had some great mango sticky rice. Small place, but really exceeded my expectations. If you’re near by and looking for noodles, check this place out.
We had khao soi and papaya salad! The food was delicious and so authentic. The restaurant is cute and the service is great.
The taste is awesome! I’ve been there 4 times, it’s consistently good. Ambience is good. Cute and cozy.
Loved the food. Do visit.
The food is quite good. But very unpleasant experience about their service. The server (a lady in dirty red) is cranky and rude. Will not go back again.
I had red curry with beef and it was delicious! This is my favorite Thai dish, and I'm hard to please. This place got it right! My spouse ordered a duck salad, he had never had this dish before and said it was very good too. Awesome food!!! 🙂
We were walking in the Hell's Kitchen area looking for a Thai place. We stumbled upon Noodies and thought of giving it a shot.
It's an intimate, artfully decorated spot that stands out among the line of similar sized hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Hell's Kitchen.
The service was super efficient and we loved everything that we had here. The Pad Thai noodles, Veggie fried dumplings, Drunken noodles, the Tom Yum soup were all excellent and we had a great time. Highly recommend!
Solid, got it to go. Wasn’t as good as I thought, but good.
normal Thai food. easy to find alternative in this neighborhood. The waitress is unhappy alway the time and remind us to leave. No one reminds us 20% tips is included in your bill, and there is still a tip part there starts from 18%. I don’t know why they are so confident that they think their unhappy and rude waitress deserves this much tips. Recommend to anyone who love normal food, awful service and 38% tips
Not bad
맛있어요! 자극적이지 않고 슴슴합니다. 볶음밥도 맛있어요. 재방문 의사 있습니다!
This place has the most flavorful Thai on Ninth Ave - plus friendly service, cute decor, pleasant music playing
Nice clean food and portions very nice people.
Amazing thai food
Food is too tomato based. Service is sub par. Super small tables. What were they thinking having 2 square foot tables?
The noodles are overcooked and too salty.
Good Thai food with dinner good drink specials for happy hour
The waitress charged me dinner price even though I was ordering Lunch Special . I came in at 12:30noon and their lunch special is from 12 to 3:30pm. When I asked why I got charged the dinner price instead of the lunch price, she said she thought I ordered dinner . Oh my god…..but it’s 12:30 noontime !! Well I paid anyway but never come back .
Comfort food. Reasonable prices.
Excellent Thai food, but be warned that even the milder dishes can be spicier than some folks can handle.🥵
Incredible food and incredible staff!!! Always my favorite place to go for Thai food in NYC!!
Our waitress need to know more about hospitality and customer service. She gave use horrible service. Not smiling and rushing at with our order. Putting our food on the table and acting like she don’t want to be there. She seems look bothered every time we ask for more water. As for the food, chicken wings was horrible. It taste like they boiled the chicken wings and coat it with some sauce. I used to come here a lot and I don’t think I’m coming back again.
Probably the best Thai food I've eaten in years. Food was fresh, restaurant was clean and service was good. Everything from their Pad Thai to their sticky rice was on point. Highly recommend.
Fast and friendly service. Trayed twice the pad thai with chicken. I would that recommend to anyone.
Good Food and Great Service.
Wouldn’t let our friend in with dress shorts because it had a Nike swoosh on it. Then proceeded to be incredibly rude and push our friend when they asked why he was being denied. The lack of hospitality was alarming. I love in Nashville and I have never been treated this way. I will never return.
Very authentic. Best Thai food we had in long time. Must try if you are thai food lo er and visiting Manhattan. Good option for vegetarian 👍
Food was just Ok and Our Waitress needed a personality 🙄
Overall, good Thai food that is on par with typical other NYC Thai restaurants. The restaurant is pretty small so we were lucky to get a spot. It is nicely decorated and feels really homey. The food was good and we appreciated the happy hour drink specials, like the very sweet sangria!
Absolutely delicious. Tried the vegetarian duck salad and soup and it was so good. Definitely recommend it.
Their duck noodle soup is amazing.
Just love this place! Unpretentious and with absolutely great staff who make you feel welcome. Food is superb, with the place becoming my local Thai to come back to when visiting the city. Fresh, bold, flavours that remind me of trips to Thailand. Really worth dropping in - Hells Kitchen restaurants can be spotty so nice to find a really good one
One of my favorite neighborhood spots. I get the curry for lunch all the time—the chef specials are really good too
My drunken noodles had egg shell in it lot of it , I can only imagine how sloppy and unprofessional whoever cooked my meal was , waitress seem not to care a bit about customer service or food quality , she sees egg shells on the plate when retrieving it and doesn’t say a word , many other restaurants in the neighborhood they better take better care of customers because I’m sure they won’t see me there anymore
Small whole in the wall spot, however the food is amazing , the thai basil fry rice was nice and spicy , thai ice tea was delicious, and the dumplins was amazing. I also tried the fried tofu and that was good as well. My friend had the pad thai and that was pretty good as well. The service was fast and good. Definitely a place to check out and will be back again.
Such a pity that this small restaurant was closed today and we suffered a bad experience at the Thai Restaurant on the next block. Food here was tasty & fresh with expedient service and attentive staff when we visited with our 8 yr old daughter. This really is authentic Thai as my partner will testify. We were made to feel really welcome and would highly recommend this Restaurant.
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Oh my Thai. Soo good. 5 drools!!!!!
Drunken noodle was amazing. Sangria by the pitcher is fun for all.
i ordered their kee mao (drunken noodles). overall the dish was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. it was not as spicy as i had anticipated and the spices/seasoning used were not as “authentic thai” as other places that i’ve tried, or the kee mao i had in Thailand (e.g. i didn’t personally love that they added cherry tomato), but overall still a well crafted, savory dish with balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and quality noodles— i’d say the restaurant is worth a try
I ordered some duck noodles soup it was so good I liked it a lot.
+ Place is a cozy cute restaurant
- I am a software engineer and I pointed out that their QR code for menu was temporary broken and the waitress told me that's not possible.
- When she eventually gave me a paper menu, she came across very rude, as if she was doing a favor by taking order.
- They don't have green curry but have other curries.
- My coconut water had so much ice, after I drank half, I decided to empty the half remaining ice into the curry bowl so I can eat the coconut pieces. Attached pic shows amount of ice.
- The restaurant incorrectly calculated tip percentages on post-tax amount.
Overall, I would avoid this place until they show basic courtesy to customers.
Nice ambience, decorative and calm. Great food and pricing!
It's a small restaurant without any outdoor dining, but the food tastes fantastic. From an iced coffee, a chicken appetizer, and duck soup, everything had a great depth of flavor and wasn't spicy. (Though my colleagues had gotten spicier foods.) It definitely is some of the best Thai food I've ever had.
The food is great, authentic Thai food. One star off for the QR menu code which is advertisement delayed and then doesn't load. Give this up and allow a paper menu. This is an unnecessary delay and frustration to what is a great culinary experience.
Pineapple fried rice w/ chicken was perfect! Throw some siracha on top while you’re at it!
Vegetarian duck curry is great
Great food and service!
The staff just ignore me the whole time. Waited 40 minutes for a pad Thai. Horrible service.
First time here. Food was alright but service was bad. Got a tomyum noodle for lunch. Decent pricing. Server seemed to have an issue with me for some reason and came off quite rude which I’ve actually never encountered in any thai restaurant in all of NYC…. Will not go back.
I went to this restaurant for a lunch. I ordered Tom Yum noodle soup. It was so good!! That was my first time to have Tom yum. This food literally gave me a good impression about the Tom yum. But the portion of soup was not enough compared to the noodle when taking out. So I always visit this place only for dining in. But I highly recommend their Tom Yum noodle soup! I've been trying to find better one. But this is the best so far! Since I moved to another place, I can't come visit here a lot. Nevertheless, I come for dining in when I am near Hell's kitchen!
Had the dancing noodles I think it was called. Had this several times. Delicious! Full of flavor!
Their vegetarian duck curry is the BEST Thai duck curry I have ever had. The portion was very generous in the veg and the faux duck. The veg (tomatoes, bell peppers, green beans) and pineapples were on point--evenly size, nicely cooked, and fresh. The curry had a depth of flavor and umami while being sweetened and mellowed by coconut milk. I asked to change the spicy level to "mild". This dish is binge worthy. My only complaint is that I wish I had more rice to mop up that curry sauce.
Duck curry is top 3 in my most ordered dishes from (Southern) Thai restaurants, and I could easily put Noodies' Vegetarian Duck Curry at the top of best duck curries I have eaten. The veggie pad thai paled in comparison to the vegetarian duck curry. I thought the pad thai was too acidic and lacking the sweet and savory side. Noodies' Vegetarian Duck Curry is an excellent duck curry execution that it's actually hard to go back to typical duck curry.
My go-to Thai place in the area. The curries are heart warming, the pad Thai is fantastic, their steamed dumplings are on point, and their lunch specials are 🔥
