Maybe, I’ll try again in a year to check if the resto has its act together.

I ordered the pad thai with tofu - the menu only has meat options, but when asked, they gladly accommodated! - and my partner ordered the seafood combination soup. Both tasted amazing and authentic. We were attended by two Thai aunties who were very kind and attentive. I’ll definitely be returning here when I find myself in the area again.

I waited over 30 minutes when I was the only person there ordering takeout then was told one of the items I ordered was not available. I ended up asking for a refund and leaving.

We came bc my sister recommended this place and the nice lady said to wait an hour when there were only a table of 5 people there. Bummer

Friendly accommodating service

I got the yellow curry with chicken and steamed white rice. It was flavorful, delicious, and had plenty of servings that I had leftovers for the next day. Highly recommend this place.

They would not make vegan food because they only have one wok to cook all food in. For the non-vegans, it took over an hour to make the food.

Worst play that u can go and eat wait 50minutes to get a sea food soup,, the fried rice and noodle never came on the table by the time we finished the soup. Only two persons attending all the costumers one cooking and a older lady attending the tables, we left the place hangry.

I keep coming back for more, the curry is that good. I always get the Red Curry with Shrimp and the balance in flavors and spice are you die for. I don't stray too far from the curry but the appetizer wings were just as delicious ❤️

I miss the original owners, prices, but most of all...FLAVOR! They didn't change the name or menus when they bought this restaurants from last owners. They aren't the creators of the pics depicted in the menu. That's why your food looks nothing like what your order. They know they make their food messy. Anything that involves noodles or wontons in your soup, will always be sticky, yellow and over done so it falls apart. Not recommended at all.

The owner was very polite, but food is mediocre
It was over seasoned and the food tasted like it was warmed up. The portions are small for the value. I didnt make issue because I thought it was really good quality to make up for the size, but it wasnt. Those other reviews must have been made up because the food was not good. Don't waste your time or money.

Best curry and fried rice ever.

The staff is rude and can barely speak English. We asked for everything mild because our kids don’t like spicy food and guess what? Everything was spicy! The yellow curry was so watered down that the dish should have been labeled “curry soup”. The pictures are misleading, the restaurant is dark, dirty, and neglected. I put in my order telling the lady that I would pick it up. She instructed me to arrive in 15 minutes. I did and waited an additional 20 minutes. To make things worst, it appears my dish had been waiting for me at a table right in front of me the whole time. When I complained the lady said “oh it’s fresh. I put it out when I saw you come in. Not true. I saw a customer reach for it when I first arrived. Then the lady said they only have one chef so patience is appreciated. Fine, then tell me a half hour wait if you are backed up!

Probably one of my favorite Thai places in lakewood / long beach. Food was great and the owners were so nice. Great service and great food? What else can you possibly want.
Their curry and appetizers were great. Heat level was on point. Definitely coming back soon.

Papaya salad and soups all taste great. When ordering pick up, tend to play it safe and wait a half hour. They suggest earlier times but usually hit or miss. Otherwise really good food and service.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. I'd been a patron of this restaurant for over 15 years. They HAD the best most authentic tasting food. The owners were great. BUT NOW, they are under new ownership and didn't change the restaurant name. The new owners and Cooks claimed to have 25 years of experience and 3 other LA restaurants. But from what I experienced today, I find that highly doubtful. I always order a wonton soup to go along with whatever else my family and I order, but the soup was the most disappointing this visit. The wontons literally fell apart and the food lacked flavor. There was 0 customer service and 0 professionalism. I left there with my stomach turning. And to top it off they are using the same menus but are trying to charge $1 extra per item without making you aware of it when you get there. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant.

Very delicious green curry, very spicy and beautifully seasoned, will be back, thai iced tea is perfect also. Seemed very authentic but be prepared and have cash on you as they do not take other forms of payment Totally worth it though. Wonderful lunch, thank you so much!

Great Coconut Thai Soup

I've eaten here before. Twice but today the food wasn't as good.

The food is ok, the portion is small, they charge you a minimum requirement for using a debit/credit card. It's strictly cash only - there is no sign anywhere stating that until it's time to pay! Also, the sciracha sauce is watered down (you will see it and taste it when you ask for it) and their milk-tea bobba are watered down and over sweetened (more sugary than coke and actual less tea, but more milk and water -- you will find out after you order one). Sorry, but this is the truth, I usually do not write a review, but this place warrants me to tell everyone before you get trapped stuck in line and purchase something there, and then find out later after you paid.

Bahn Thai restaurant is one of my favorite
places to eat. The food is always consistently authenic and delicious. Customer service is improving. The one waitress they have seems to be putting forth more effort to connect with customers, but we really miss Jheri! If you are unsure about what to order, try the curry fried rice with chicken or the bbq garlic chicken dinner. Both are delish!

This restaurant should NOT!!! Be in business after the way they treat their customers! When we got there the first thing they said was they do not have high chairs! What place don't have high chairs? Only a booster which did not have a seat belt .Second they never brought us water or asked if we wanted a refill. They didn't cook there veggies in there curry! At all! They had the nerve to tell us to watch our kid who was 12months because he dropped rice on the ground! If they had high chairs that wouldn't of been a problem!!!!! They told us not to come back and to eat at home because we needed to teach our 12month how to clean up after himself. They wanted us to clean the floor. Which is not our job! If they can't clean there own floor when it's dirty then they must not clean there restaurant My other son who is 2 would not eat the food because it was nasty! They cuss at us in front of our children and others who where eating calling us names!!! Like STUPID!! . And yelled at us because they didn't like our children there and yelled at us for not tipping who does that? Why would we tip when we where treated less than HUMAN!! they need to be reported to the Heath department & also the state they should not be in business. Don't go there if you have children!! My children should not have been discriminated against!!! And yelled at and told not to come back to eat at a restaurant! They really broke my heart and made me lose hope In society!
