This place is easily the best Thai place I've ever been to. The customer service was great and the older lady was so nice. Every dish was great. There is nothing I can complain about with the food. Every bite was a new rush of delight as the flavors danced in my mouth. The place was pretty empty so the food came out super quickly (in about 5-10 minutes). The yellow chicken curry with jasmine rice is a must try. Overall great restaurant.👌
The best Thai restaurant in town. The taste is amazing. You can easily go for the 🥵 hot level of spice. It’s super tasty and delicious❤️
Try their drinks menu- the pink lemonade is to die for!!
I love tier Spicy Basil fried rice.

The mango sweet sticky rice is amazing!!! So is the crispy roti 😍 the yellow curry with crispy roti was so light and delicious 🤤
The food presentation and everything about this place is on point!
I loved the veggies and how bright everything was. The service was quick and they were very friendly!
I recommend coming here if you want a lovely date because the interior was beautiful as well! Very well themed!
R-Haan Thai is probably the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The decor inside is so pretty, with real creepers and golden lights. The people are very polite, and the food is so delicious 😋. It is also located near a boba tea shop called Teaspoon and a Japanese store called Osaka, where I purchased Japanese candy and cute little sauce bowls. Overall, this Thai food was very flavorful and my family ordered the Tiger Prawn Pad Thai, which they said was very yummy, and they would recommend it if you eat meat. But, these meals come in very big portions, so if you have 2-3 people, I recommend only ordering 1 appetizer and 2 meals if you want a heavy dinner. If you have a big party, feel free to order how many ever dishes you would like. Below, there are some pics of our meals.
I want to give this restaurant a good rating but at best, 6.5 out of 10, and possibly 7 is being generous. The positives are, it's a good date night spot, almost romantic vibe. The food seems upscale wannabe presented nicely in pretty tableware. The flavors are mild, and not intense so its adapted to most folks. For those that suffer from gout triggered by anchovy based fish sauce, fear not. The chef only uses salt for flavoring. You can ask for chilli fish sauce table side for those that want to enhance their selected entrees. The menu selection is more than ample to represent Thai food. The dessert may have fancy names but don't be fooled. The negatives is simple. The staff conversations are loud enough giving the place hair & nail salon vibes. Enough said. Will we come back? We do prefer more intense Thai flavors. In a pinch, sure but it won't be our first choice. However, we are glad it's in our neighborhood.
Absolutely delighted with my visit to R-HaaN Thai restaurant! The food was exceptional, with vibrant flavors and perfect seasoning in every dish. The presentation was equally impressive; each plate was beautifully arranged, making the dining experience as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. The service was top-notch—attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars!

Lost its touch. I have a strong feeling the restaurant’s ownership and cooks have changed, it’s not run by authentic Thai people anymore. This one was one rare restaurant in Fremont that we liked and were regular. Very disappointed.
Haters can bite the curb
Excellent service, great food. Very cozy place and was served fast. 5/5
Quite disappointed. Poor service, impolite staff, uncomfortable seating and food is not great.
The food was great and the service was just amazing!

Food is decent.
Table is too small!!
Worker need to learn customer service
I ordered wonton soup to go. $20 after taxes (Never paid anywhere this much for wonton soup). The container had a little more than half container broth! Not even full. The noodles were gelatinous and crush into one huge cube on the Togo small box. The noodles never seperated into the soup and were super mushy. 4 wontons and 3 shrimp 🦐 very very little bok choy. NO side-condiments, napkin, utensils added. Will NEVER return here. Totally rip off. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Flavorful food, not oily at all and very well presented. The staff was very friendly and the ambience was peaceful Will definitely visit again.
This restaurant was fantastic, from service to atmosphere to food! I don't know the last time I had such a delicious meal, plus the portions are excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and super attentive, as well. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!!
This place is an absolute gem! The flavors are bold and authentic, and you can tell they put a lot of love into each dish. I ordered the pad thai and green curry, and both were fantastic. The portions are generous, and the staff was super friendly. Definitely a go-to for Thai food in the area.
The service is really good. Food is delicious. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken. Ambience is colorful and unique.
Great place for Thai food. Ordered mango sticky rice, panang curry and spicy fried rice. The baby corn tasted a bit weird but overall good felt great.
The food presentation and everything about this place is on point!
I loved the veggies and how bright everything was. The service was quick and they were very friendly!
I recommend coming here if you want a lovely date because the interior was beautiful as well! Very well themed!
Subpar sad looking ingredient less drunken noodles.
Food was tasty but my son and I both suffered from stomach upset right after eating here.
The worst Thai in Bay Area!

Ordered Pad Kee Mao as Togo order
The order was ready in 10minutes
The packing was in a plastic container , I wish they had a paper Togo box
Felt that the Pad Kee Mao lacked taste , had ordered medium spicy
I DO NOT RECOMMEND the place for Pad Kee Mao
I did visit this place to specially try Khao soi.
The ambience and the service was very good.
Khao soi was good. Some of the things that would have made it much more better as I have tried the dish from many other restaurants is more coconut milk added (to have more coconut flavor)and the chicken if it was boiled in the gravy it would added more flavor to the chicken.

Authentic high end Thai cuisine at reasonable prices. Every dish is cooked to perfection! Ingredients are high quality. I have gluten intolerance and was ok with eating the fried soft shell crabs. My fave is they pad Thai and curries. The dessert is also delicious, not too sweet. Service is outstanding and friendly. Definitely a gem in the Bay Area.
Very cute Thai restaurant! They accommodated our huge group of 16 for a work lunch. All of the food arrived at the same time and tasted great! The drinks were good too.
The lunch combo is convenient and makes it easy to choose.
Only con is they charged us 20% gratuity then charged the tax on top of the tipped amount…
Great Thai food
Looking for vegan Thai places, stumbled upon this. Biggest mistake. The tofu curry was swimming in excess oil and had exactly 4 pieces of tofu.
Do you know how cheap tofu is? An entire block is maybe $1.75 or $2.
For a curry worth $16 or more, this was abysmal. The portion was small as well.
Nothing noteworthy, won’t be ordering
again.
Best Thai food around Fremont. Spice levels are up to the mark. Good presentation.
Food is sooo good. This is the best thai food I have had.
Pricey for pretty standard Thai food
Food is good but pricey and serving portions are small; the noodle plate I ordered with tofu had very few vegetables and tofu;
This isn't my first rodeo with the restaurant. Food is better than other Thai restaurants. But service sucks. They are only selectively nice with certain group of people. If I have to dump tip money a lot to get certain level of service, I won't go here for dine-in because it's not a Michelling level restaurant but a decent eatery. So just to-go right?
Lol I opened "spicy pad thai with pork" is well mild chicken and tofu pad Thai. This is my last straw breakage.
Wow!! I'm really impressed with this local restaurant. It's a very cozy and intimate store with friendly staff. Service is quick and attentive!
Here's what I have tried these past few months:
+ Pad Thai Crispy Tiger Prawns (5/5): Soooo delicious! This is a MUST TRY. The shrimp are cooked perfectly and make this dish so addicting. The pad thai itself is really great too! I am getting hungry just writing about it...
+ Chicken Pad See-Ew (3/5): It's okay. The noodles are great texture and it's seasoned well! The portion was very generous too. However, the American broccoli and carrot addition is odd. They were also undercooked.
+ Khao Soi (5/5): INCREDIBLE! If you love creamy curry, the broth is perfect for you. They add an entire chicken leg in this, which is fall-off-the-bone tender. The noodles stick together though, so be sure to toss the noodles as soon as they hit your table.
I got some spicy drunken noodles here. The server warned me about getting the Thai spicy and I definitely should have listened to her, it was extremely spicy but still taste. It cleared my sinuses right up.
The food is just average..not that great, and the staff is incredibly rude. I would never go back to this restaurant at all. There are many much better restaurants in the area. For much better Thai, try Sala Thai which is down the street from this restaurant.
Excellent restaurant and quality food but quantity is too less. I had ordered fried rice and it was like a kids portion. I had to order another one.
Great find for Thai food. For spice lovers like myself, if you ask for spicy, they WILL make it spicy, so proceed with caution. Drunken noodles are great! Come for lunch if you can, the entree-drink combo for $18 is really worth it! Can’t go wrong with Thai iced tea here. I did find the fried tofu to be a bit bland, so maybe skip on that if that applies to you. Overall, really nice place and very welcoming staff!
Todo es delicioso, buen servicio al cliente, personalmente me encanta el Yellow curry con pollo
My Husband , son, and I Just went to R-HAAN Thai & it was hands down an awesome experience from the moment you walk in.
Its located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking .
The ambience is cute and cozy. It's very clean inside . I love their wallpaper they have on the walls. They have a bathroom inside .
The service was fast friendly and efficient . My husband got the red curry , spicey hot level and a cucmber salad .I got the yellow curry , hot spice level w/ side order of roti , and my son got some steamed veggies and Jasmin rice. We also all got thai teas.
All the food was super good . My son loved his plate as well.
We definitely recommend this lil gem.
They close at 930pm & stop serving at 9 pm .
If your in the area definitely recommend to check out R-HAAN THAI !
Ordered :
Cashew nut chicken : 5/5
Will order again : 5/5 , most definitely, this is one of our favorite thai places.
Food is really amazing, flavorful and delicious, plus the combo gives you a dish, rice and a drink for a very reasonable price. The only downside is the quantity is less, maybe 10% less than what I would have expected.
Solid Thai food with curries filled with crisp vegetables. Medium spice is pretty low, but still full of flavor. Tea comes as individual with a cup of hot water and teabag you open and use. Nice interior and a good spot for work lunches.
We ordered takeout and really liked the Pad See Ew both with duck & tofu and the summer rolls. We will definitely order again and try more things.
The restaurant itself looked super cozy and everyone was quick and nice when we picked up our food.
Their service is great but the Food is below average. Ordered Pad Thai and chicken red curry, red curry has only bell pepper and chicken in it. Chicken was very hard and smelly. Pad thai was like sticky rice.
Food and service are excellent but they are charging Gratuity fees without our consent. When I did a research got to know that it is illegal for a restaurant to add an automatic gratuity to a bill without the consent of the customer in California the restaurant cannot force you to do so.
In the above situation I also told them that tip will be paid by cash still they refused.
Food, service and staff are good though...
A simple restaurant with great customer service. Good options for vegetarians like that. The food potion is good to fill yourself. We ordered green and red curry with rice. They customized it since one of us do not like bamboo shoot and mushroom. The meal option was good. Taste was really great. Definitely recommend 👌
Such great food. The service is really awesome people! Me and my family love all the dishes we have ever tried. Very good dishes! The honey chicken is really good, pad Thai, yellow curry was on point!
Average
A colleague introduced this restaurant and all four colleagues ordering different items fully enjoyed those.
They also easily accomodated vegetarian - no fish oil, no eggs and also no onion, no garlic (swaminarayan/jain)!!!
Next is to introduce this restaurant to the family.
Keep up the great food/service.
Been there three times and what an amazing quality and tasty food. Nice and cozy and super clean and good portion size and just amazing
My favorite Thai restaurant. I eat there once a week and the food is always perfect. People are super nice, service is reasonably quick and it is not too expensive. Their pad Thai with crispy tiger prawns is the best pad Thai I have ever had.
Good place for vegetarian Thai food.
Woman on the phone is unable to copy a phone number. Minutes wasted trying to order. Gave up. Get better staff. Get caller ID.
Food was ok nothing special. Biggest ripoff were the shrimp spring rolls. Half of a half of a shrimp. Rolls cut in weird halves and were falling apart by the time I got home, and the peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter with almost no manipulation. You can find better peanut sauce at the grocery store. And they were ~12 dollars so not a great use of money. Also ordered spicy pad see ewe and it was dry, tasteless and not spicy at all. CAVEAT tho the place was packed so maybe it tastes better when you eat in person instead of taking to go.
Go to lunch spot for Thai food.
Always great service.
Always great food.
A really impressive Resteraunt, loved the service and the Thai red curry with iced tea. Definitely recommend.
Food was incredible and service was so friendly. Restaurant itself is very lovely and clean. Highly recommend!
First time dining here. It wasn't that busy so we were seated right away. Waitress was very helpful with the menu as well as polite and friendly while speaking to us. Food came out and it was amazing. Hands down one of, if not, the best pad thai I've ever had. Highly recommended!
Good hole in the wall. Great food, par for the course for Thai restaurants.
Best thai food ever.
Restaurant closes earlier than closing time
First time ordering here and the curry doesn’t come with rice nor bread.
After taking my food home, realized that there is not even forks inside the bag. Like nothing, no napkins, no sauce, no nothing. I guess the owner really want to make his/her next investment money faster than the schedule by saving 25¢ on every order.
May the cheapest be with you!
Went to this place off of a friend’s recommendation. I got the red curry with rice and it was really delicious. The dish was presented nicely and the “hot” spice level was perfect for me. If you don’t eat spicy food frequently, don’t get hot or Thai hot. All the right flavors were there and no single component was overpowering.
We tried to have Mother’s Day dinner here but there was a one hour wait at 8:00 pm so we had to make other plans. We did come back the next day for lunch and we’re so glad we did!
Lunch on a Monday was still quite busy but the staff was attentive and very friendly. She suggested that we order the weekday lunch specials since they were the same portions as the a la carte entrées but included a free drink. Score!
We ordered the Roti Canai, Spring Rolls, Yellow Curry, Thai Fried Rice, Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. They all tasted terrific, enhanced by the Thai Iced Tea.
A new Thai place in the town. Amazing food and super cute ambiance.
Huge portion, food was delicious, had chicken Thai fried rice lunch combo.
Excellent service and food was delicious.
Got a party order of from R-HaaN Thai. It was very good. We got crab fried rice and pad see ew. Both tasted awesome 🤩!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area !
Have eaten here several times. Really like their coconut rice. Had the flavor without being to sweet. Ordered their Satay chicken skewers which were tender, flavorful and juicy. Also ordered their crispy duck which was crispy like fried chicken on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. Service was excellent. Ample parking. Family friendly restaurant. Definitely will come back again.
This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. I loved the vegetarian green and red curries. It’s on the expensive side after pandemic. Hopefully they reduce the price!
Great vegetarian choices! Loved the hospitality and the food was great.
Excellent Thai restaurant. My family and I have been back a few times and each time is still as delicious as the first. Tom Yum, Pad See Ew, Roti, Coconut Rice and Yellow Curry.
Note if you have kids: Even though they tell you the Yellow Curry dish is just like the curry dipping sauce for the Roti, that it is not spicy, (the menu doesn't have a spicy icon next to it) it's mild; my kids won't eat the Yellow Curry because of this, but they'll eat that roti dipping sauce all day long. Really this is my only complaint, still 5 stars.
Great service, great food. Will visit again!
I recently had dinner at R HAANTHAI and it was an amazing experience! The restaurant is located in a busy strip mall, but there's plenty of parking available so it was easy to access.
The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Cashew Nut Chicken, Red Curry Prawn, and Thai Samosa, and all of the dishes were bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. Just keep in mind that the default spice level is mild, so be sure to specify if you prefer spicier food.
The dining hall was quiet and peaceful, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The service was attentive and made my dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Overall, R HAANTHAI is a great option for anyone looking for delectable Thai cuisine in a cozy setting, with plenty of parking available. Highly recommended!
It was a mixed experience. Crispy veggies rolls were very crispy, tasty and less oily.
Crispy prawns pad thai was served with deep fried prawns with shell on! The server mentioned that it is supposed to be eaten like that but I think its not for me. The noodles were good.
Panang curry had very thin consistency. The bell paper pieces were too big. Taste was just fine.
Ambience was good. Place was clean.
The vegetarian soup had shrimp paste in it. Ginger Tofu and vegetarian Drunken Noodle had no flavor. I have eaten much tastier Thai food elsewhere.
Typical small sized Thai restaurant. Had chicken fried rice, chicken basil and chicken satay. All were good. Fast service. Place was empty when we reached for lunch. Soon folks started coming in. Plenty of parking (may depend on time of the day though). Would visit again. Btw, not sure if they have alcohol.. You May want to check..
Amazing Thai restaurant. Small place but very clean and hygienic. Amazing hosts.
Ordered green curry lunch combo. Not awful but a bit too watery. I prefer Sala Thai’s version. The environment looks pretty nice though! Very convenient location next to the grocery store.
Very good food
Went here for my birthday. It was definitely one of the best meals I have had. I will be returning.
Good food and decent portion sizes.
Will visit again
Amazing service as always. Food is great here. This is my 4th time here and I always try something different each time. This place never disappoints. Good flavor and portion. Would come again in the future. I would recommend pad Thai and curry.
Five stars for the right reasons. Consistenc and freshness. Another five stars for the generous portions. It's a go to for Thai food lovers. Flavors crunch on the right dishes. Never overwhelming, the freshness on chilled sal compares to none. We feel lucky to have the best places to eat in the neighborhood. Dine or take out no frills. It's a loving family business.
The green curry was thin and the chicken was over-cooked. The eggplant was mush. Not planning to order here again. (Delivered via doordash)
I stopped by on a whim and what a find! The pad Thai and iced tea I got was spot on. The food is delicious and it was made super fast to order. Very pleasant experience.
I got Pad Kee Mao with tofu and it was delicious. The portion was just right, and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. We definitely want to go back soon.
Edit: The red curry with tofu is also great! It’s slightly sweet and quite tasty. Be sure to order a side of rice if you want rice and specify no oyster sauce if you want it to be vegetarian.
We were so happy to find a new Thai restaurant so near us and even happier to find such great food and pleasant service. This restaurant is not to be missed if you love Thai food.
Wirklich sehr guter Tai in der Region Fremont. Sehr nette Bedienung und wunderbares Essen. Wer in der Region ein sehr gutes Essen sucht- hier findet man es! Toll und gerne wieder…
Great place to go if you are craving for some Thai. Absolutely delicious dishes. Ordered pad kee mao and some Thai samosas. The mango sticky rice was great too.
It’s a small place but great detailed dish presentation and taste. Good ambiance. Plenty of parking around. Would definitely go again.
Went in here today after doing mission Peak and it was really good. The chef/owner came up and chatted with us a bit, service was prompt, food and prices both good will definitely come again!
This is by far the best Thai restaurant i’ve ever been too! I came here with my mom and my sister and the food was just delicious!! The presentation was so awesome and their the prettiest things i’ve ever seen!! If you decided to drop by there, make sure you get the mango sticky rice for desert 💕
I came here for my mom’s birthday, and we just had seen this place and decided to go here instead. We ordered Tom Kha, Garlic Prawn, Crispy Tofu, Pineapple Fried Rice, Spicy noodles, and Mango Sticky Rice. Overall the portions were somewhat small but the quality of the food was really good, however the prices were slightly overpriced. The Tom Kha was rich with flavor and the spice was perfect. The Garlic Prawn was nice, flavorful, and crunchy. The Crispy Tofu was crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The Pineapple Fried Rice was fresh and was flavorful. The spicy noodles were not too spicy and overwhelming but was good with the spice. And the Mango Sticky Rice was beautifully presented and overall delicious. So overall the food beautifully presented, delicious, slightly small in portions, and slightly overpriced. But I would come back every now and then, so I recommend this place to people who would want to try high quality Thai food.
New Thai restaurant in Fremont. I like their pad see ew noodle which I order lunch special with Thai Iced tea. Great deal!!!
Living in San Jose, I typically drive to the City whenever I crave good Thai food. I am really happy that this great restaurant opened up fairly closer.
I had the veggie paad Thai and the crispy rolls and I was very happy with the freshness and flavor! The great and friendly service is just a bonus to their nicely plated dishes. (Plating the dishes is half the battle, but the flavor is the nice cherry on top)
Overall, I enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the amazing service. I will see you all next week:D
