This place deserves 5 stars. It's very clean, the service is great (friendly husband and wife duo), food is delicious, and the price is really good!
We are so happy that we found this gem. The food is made to order. We didn't wait long to get our dishes, but knowing that the food was cooked to order, we were happy about that.
We got the Avocado Rings, spicy edamame, pad see ew (1 spice level), and pad wood sen (-1 spice level...lol). All of our dishes had great flavors. It was seasoned well.
The service was so good. Absolutely, friendly service and helpful.
If it gets busy, the food is worth the wait. Food is fresh! Don't be quick to leave. It's so good. Trust me, my mom is very picky about eating Thai food, and she loved this place. It was our first time and we were glad that we came.
I'm definitely bringing the rest of my family here.
Ordered 2 takeout meals. The red curry came with almost no meat and a tiny bowl of rice. The bamboo was super tough and chewy. My girlfriend got fried rice with chicken and is currently sick to her stomach a few hours later. Claims the food was very oily while eating it.
For these crazy high prices I would expect to get more food and stuff better quality. If you are someone who doesn't enjoy quality nor quantity we have found the spot for you.
Omg, I try and eat here at least 1 time per week. Customer service is bland, but it's not bad at all. They do their job. They take your order, get your food to you fresh, hot, and on time. Not much conversation, but it's OK. There are so many great choices of vegetarian options to choose from. It's a nice, cozy, chill spot. I love it and will continue to visit.
I submitted an order for pickup, and my partner picked it up for me. Padaek forgot to give me rice with my pumpkin curry (I ended up making some rice at home to accompany my curry), and there was a strand of hair in my spring roll. BTW, they don't really give you four spring rolls. It's two spring rolls cut in half, and they're 98% full of shredded iceberg lettuce that consistently falls out. If I was eating in, I would have most likely requested a refund for the spring rolls.
However, my pumpkin curry dish (with tofu) was delicious, and my partner loved his pad see ew (with chicken). The flavors are definitely on point. I was just sad and disappointed about the spring rolls and missing rice.
I rated the atmosphere with three stars because I have no idea what it's like there
Their salad menu is delicious. I always go there for lunch when I’m working in Irving. Make sure you mention the correct spice level because they don’t joke about that (order steam rice on the side to help in case you forget).
This review was taken out for some reason. It is from Apr 2022 Food is ok. Owner was nice. I had the green curry. Not very green but it was good. The fried avocadoes were really good. I have only been back a couple of times. I got the beef salad. It was tough and small compared to the place I usually go to.

Excellent food and lovely service. Pad Thai and pad see ew were exceptional, boba Thai iced tea was amazing 😍
Delicious food, fresh and tasty!
Freindly service and pleasant calm atmosphere :)
I really enjoyed the spicy pork gyoza and the mango sticky rice 🍚🥭I will definitely be coming back soon 😊
I like the food very much and the service amazing very welcoming and nice
Great food options, reasonable prices which is difficult to find these days.
Love this place. Have been back multiple times. Food is really good. I always get the drunken noodles. Have had a few other things as well and everything I've had is great!
Food extremely good! Best Asian place in Irving and I’ve lived here over 30years. Good quality and reasonably priced. So grateful to find them!
This place is spectacular. The place is extremely clean, servers are attentive and kind, and most of all the food tasted authentic! Would definitely recommend.

I've eaten their cuisine about 4 times since Summer.
High quality food, service and always nice setting in old downtown area of Irving, Tx
Excellent Thai food with quick and efficient service.
Restaurant person here: We've been meaning to try this cute little place across from Di Risonti's (which is AMAZING). We came in to grab to go lunch. The nicest lady greeted us warmly and look our order. Such a spotless chill place to dine in we thought. After seeing all the 5 star reviews we ordered an entrée and 3 apps. Thai Herbs Steamed Seafood, Fried Gyoza (Pork), Lao Sausage and Fresh Spring Roll (Shrimp). We were extremely disappointed in the quality of every single thing we got. The Steamed Seafood was mostly Mussels and should have been served with rice or with crusty bread. The Spring Roll was 90% lettuce unlike anything I've ever had anywhere else and the rice paper wrapper was sticky. I make these fresh at home so I know what they should taste like and the texture. The dumplings (Gyoza) were rather hard and although I ordered them fried they are supposed to be supple like steamed and finished off with a crispy bottom when cooked properly and these were far from that. Finally, the worst thing was the Lao Sausage. I have had it homemade at the Lao Monk's yearly festival by our house and at numerous restaurants before. It was overcooked to the point of being hard as a rock and extremely dried out. I've never had anything like it anywhere. For us, as much as we wanted to support this family owned business right by our house, it will be a one and done.
I actually really liked this. I got the c4 with pork. I loved the consistency of the broth (no idea if that's what I'm supposed to call it) and the flavors were excellent. Keep in mind, I have very little experience with Thai cuisine.
One of the best thai food we had , boba tea was awesome . I will keep coming here
Incredible food!!!
Spice level was perfection, tried a 1,3,4 and they were well spiced and flavorful.
Authentic thai. The pad see ew 😋. will come back whenever im in Dallas.

GREAT THAI
This place is fantastic, and dirt cheap!
The flavor and texture of the green curry were awesome.
Highly recommend!

Excellent, quick and no-frills service. Staff and owners are very friendly. Good level of spice.
Pumpkin curry
Everything was great. Food came out steaming hot and full of flavor, and couldn't have asked for better service.
The food is always fresh, hot, and presented well. Service is professional and friendly great enforcement my favorite is the red curry with chicken
Picked up order and brought it home. Really surprised by the very small portions, I ordered panang curry with beef ($16) and there was not more than 4 chips of beef, easily less than 1/8 of a pound. This was essentially a soup.
Disappointed.
Too bad for this restaurant, ngmi
Food was very good. The food coma hit me hard on the drive home. We had papaya salad level 5 spice. All the umami and the spice was as expected. I am glad they did not hold back.
Service, was good until we had to leave because they had a break time where they shut down the restaurant. They brought water drinks out immediately. Food was quick and I really guess that’s all you can ask for. They got the order right and brought everything out in a timely manner.
It was HOT inside. The AC was struggling.
1st time to go there. Restaurant was very clean , the waiter was very helpful and polite. Food was made fresh and it was delicious! Our new favorite Thai place 💕
My husband and I LOVE Padaek. It’s always consistently delicious and the service is always great. They’ve never messed up the order and even remember our orders! (We come here a lot). All of our friends and family love it now too, we take everyone here. 10/10
I was very satisfied with my meal tonight. There were many options to suit my GF, DF, EF diet. I ordered something that was a level 4 spice and was pleasantly surprised to find it was eye wateringly spicy. I will be back again.
The food was prepared quick and was very very good. Spice level 3 is going to be hot! If you want a spice kick but not too hot then go with level 1 or 2.
My only concern is that I paid a cool 20. bucks and was still hungry after finishing.
So glad I found this place, I had been wanting thai and the food here was perfect. I went during lunch and was in and out in 30 minutes.
Tried beef laab, good taste, fast service, just the portions are small for the price, would buy again if in the area.
Absolutely loved the Green Curry! One of the best I have tasted. Only reason I mark the place down was due to no AC.
Great shrimp salad.
Clean restaurant with good food. Our regular go to.
Best place to eat in Houston
The best Thai food in Irving! 👌
They are the best! Super great service and awesome food!!! When we have friends over we always either go or order from them!
LOVE this place, food is consistently good, the Panang curry is great. Always have our to-go order ready on time.
Best Thai in the area! I’ve had lots of Thai food in DFW, and this is one of my fav spots. Spice level is always on point. If you live in Irving, and want some 🔥 Thai food go support them!
Nice place to eat and feel in love with the orange chicken and mango sticky rice
Found this place a few months ago. Have only tried the chicken and shrimp pad thai. First time I tried it I got a spice level 3 and it was way too spicy for me. Spice level 1 always seems a bit spicy also, but I need my food to have a little kick lol. The chicken today was a little tough 😕 but they made my order exactly how I requested. 🙂
There's not much to see here, but THE best shrimp fried rice I've ever had
Best Thai food in Irving TX!
Very delicious food!! I tried Padaek one day because they had great reviews and I immediately understood why. I’ve gone back almost weekly and my wife loves their food as well
I was pleasantly surprised with my Cashew Chicken Stir Fry dish. It came out looking picture perfect and tasted just as good. Can't wait to return.
Stopped in a few months ago on lunch and had a great experience. Excellent food and good portions for the price. Needing a good dinner, I decided to come here again tonight and I'm shocked that I'm the only one dining in! Slow night, but the service I've received has been top notch! The food is delicious of course. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Best Thai food I've had in the DFW area. Spice was just perfect and they used first rate ingredients.
Nice people and good food especially the soop

Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend.
Very fresh and delicious. Don't hesitate to ask for spicy if you like it, we choose mild and it was really too mild. But I don't regret anything, it was a very good value for the money !! Very tasty
I love this restaurant and its food! I started coming here 2 years ago and I still come in frequently for its pad kee mao! And it’s Bangkok Pho!
Fantastic flavors! You can have something mainstream like fried rice or pad Thai OR you can try their curries and soups!
The selection ranges from fresh to savory flavors.
The service is also very polite and diligent
10/10!
Absolutely disgusting if this is what Irving Texas considers good Thai food! Made the mistake of stopping here for three entrees. One was suppose to be a stir fry and is swimming in a thin, watery sauce. Other two are Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow both very little flavor but sugary tasting and clumpy noodles, can even pick them up they are like cement. No chicken to speak of, we waited forever for our food putting us and hour behind to our destination and overall just a mediocre experience. I realized how lucky I am having actually authentic and savory Thai food in my Texas town! I know for a fact that reviews are fake when they look too perfect and they all say the same thing! Ugh, save your money and your time and taste buds. Go somewhere else.
Ordered food and paid, showed up to pick up food within published open hours and they were closed.
We ordered the pork ribs, Khao soi gai soup, coconut rice and mango sticky rice and they were all delicious! Be aware their spice is real, I love spicy food and a 3 was more than enough spice for me. Love this place, I live a little far from it but totally worth the 30 minute drive.
It's nice to have something other than fast food and taqueria food in South Irving and it's really really freaking good!
Yummy is all I can say. We found this place by chance and it's a bit further for us to go, but we will be back. Love the Currys , everything is so good.
Excellent Thai food for a local eatery. I grew up in South Irving and we always have to drive a ways to enjoy good Thai cuisine. Now its just a few blocks away. I enjoy the Panang Curry , the coconut fried rice with pork, and the Pad Thai. Outstanding ! Keep up the great work!
We got pad see ew, pad kee mao, and fried rice. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely return
Absolutely delicious food! A must try!!!
We were visiting my wife's aunt and we felt like some Thai food. This place was the highest rated in the area. After eating there I understood why. Absolutely delicious. So good that me and my daughters snuck out the very next day for round two.
Very delicious, real Thai food 👍👍👍
They never fail to amaze! Their food is delicious, customer service is on point, and they are so friendly!
Food is authentic, but was very salty. Not sure if it's that one time occurance.
The Pad Kee Mow was tasty, the only downside was the top heat level was still low (not mild, but not the extreme heat typical with Thai cuisine)...also, I especially liked the amount of chicken and the absence of carrots (just my preference, I'm a carnivore not a rabbit)
The food was very good and fresh. We will go again.
Good Pad Thai. Nice and spicy.
Just passing by and decided to stop by here with a friend for dinner. Irving is my hometown, and it was a pleasant surprise to discover this eatery! We ordered the pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and eggroes. It was fresh and delicious! I've never had fried rice prepared this way before. Enjoyed the ambiance and service was awesome!
Ordered the basil fried rice, egg rolls, and one of the curry’s and everything was really good. We got level 3 spicy for the curry and the rice and both had a good kick to it. Will be back.
Very high quality food; great portions. Great taste. Nice staff. Thai tea tasted much more authentic than competition.
Most entrees are below $20.
If you have a bit of extra time, much better use of your money than the Burger King or McDonald's down the street. If you like Thai/Laotian food, you sound try this food.
Will return.
We just had dinner here and loved it. Good service and food. Loved the Lao sausage and green curry.
Had lunch there for first time - food was delicious, good service. Would definitely return.
Tom Kha is perfect on a cold day, and the laarb is done phenomenally well
Owner very friendly.. Remembers my name after 1 visit.. Food was fresh big portion.
SO GOOD! My husband and I took his parents here for dinner and we received the best service and even better food! We got pineapple fried rice, the eggplant dish, and their drunken noodles (called something different on the menu). All the main dishes were absolutely perfect, however I will say, we ordered the avocado rings as an appetizer and they were very bland and the sauce served with them tasted like cole slaw dressing. Everything else was seriously perfect though!! 10/10 recommend.
Ordered takeout, a Pad Wun Sen and Tom Kha soup.. and I have to say it was PERFECT! I showed up to pick it up a little early and it was ready and the staff preparing it for me was very friendly. This establishment is fairly new to Irving but they have definitely earned a new customer for life. Highly recommend!
Top notch. Always. Well intentioned owners. Quality preparation. Delicious curry. Support local.
Great food..very good service. Easy in & out parking. Hoping road construction doesn't adversely affect this little restaurant.
Excellent food and service
Food is excellent! Staff is super friendly
Open Again and still same flavor and good attention good Thai Laos food
Delicious!!! Been a while since I’ve had some really well-made authentic Thai food in the local area.
Fair warning: dishes come really spicy, even if you ask for a medium spice level.
OMG!! This is a great place! Egg Eola were hot and fresh! The food tasted wonderful and flavorful. Enjoyed my Red Curry, and I loved the little of the Panang my friend shared!!! I will be back! Service was timely, warm, and fun. Pat was very knowledgeable and helpful. Please check this place out!!!
Me n my friend got noodle soups and it was sooo good. The broth was very flavorful. Totally recommend it.
Always delicious. Curries are very filling and the pad Thai is always my favorite.
