We had many vegetarian dishes, all were very tasty

Diner Review №2

Terrible service. Made us change tables in the middle of the meal and were rude about it.

Diner Review №3

Delicious drinks and good gluten free options.

Diner Review №5

It’s a pretty decent Thai restaurant!

I’ve sat outside a few times, but this was my first time dining inside. The service, atmosphere, and food were all great. Both the service and atmosphere were casual, but the food seemed to have more attention to detail than typical casual places, and the taste was noticeably better compared to others.

The Tom Yum Goong was great, and the Green Curry was delicious too!

Diner Review №6

- good curries, i liked the panang, portions are small
- avoid pad thai
- pineapple juice was nice🍍
- summer rolls

Diner Review №7

Awesome Thai food . Loved the different curry flavors. The sesame chicken is very yummy and flavorful. The well rounded spices makes the curries tasty and delicious. Try the smelt fish fry .
Loved the jumbo shrimp 🍤 fried rice .

Papaya salad smells bad. Taste ok.
Sesame chicken a bit salty. But not too bad.
Pineapple rice is good.

Diner Review №13

Indeed authentic.

Diner Review №14

Diner Review №15

The saddest moment, only went here for their oax tail soup and they discontinued. Whish I had the recipe

Diner Review №16

Very bad service, appetizers are not good. Pineapple curry was ok. Go to other thai restaurants, they added gratuity by default 😅

Diner Review №17

Great restaurant with upscale vibes. Food tasted good too. Only downer being pad Thai had too much tamarind sauce and tasted over tangy. Smelt fish was crispy and great with their peanut dip. The pop star drink is very sweet. Definitely recommend their crab fried rice and summer rolls.

Diner Review №18

Great food and incredible service. Forgot my AirPods in the restaurant and amazing waiter chased us down the street to return it.

Diner Review №19

pathetic excuse for thai food. this place is a stain on my beautiful city.

Diner Review №20

went here over a year ago this place is so bad that i still think about it sometimes. worst thai food I've ever had. disgraceful that this exists in the bay area lol. don't get me started on the service

Diner Review №21

I see a bunch of mixed reviews here.. Bec of which I was actually hesitant to go here on my birthday..

My husband being him did a lot of homework and said it will be nice..

We had a fantastic sumptuous lunch here.. Portions were huge. Taste was very authentic.. and the menu items were very unique from other Thai restaurants...

Their peanut and soy dips were outstanding and I have never had chive cakes in my life before..

The ambience was very good and our guy Dilan was so good.. Thanks to him personally for making this a very memorable lunch for us. It was quite the experience 😀

Diner Review №22

The service was great, but sadly the food was less than stellar. The fried shrimp at $33.00 a dish, we're overcooked and rubbery. The pad thai was awful. The coconut rice with shrimp was barely tolerable.

Diner Review №23

Lots of seating both indoors and outdoors! On the pricier side for the given portions but the dishes tasted sweet and savory, what you’d expect for Thai food. Great service! My sister was stung by a bee mid-dinner and the waitress took notice and immediately whipped out some TIGER BALM :) atmosphere 4/5 cause of bee

Diner Review №24

great

Diner Review №25

We had a corporate event here for a large group. Everything is perfect from drinks to food. Dylan is super nice and helpful. I will definitely come back here with friends and family.

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

I wish it had zero stars for service.

Diner Review №28

The best Thai food I have ever tired in Bay Area! And their cocktail is good too, very valuable and delicious Thai restaurant!

Diner Review №29

蠻好吃的泰國菜,東陽宮湯好喝但是太濃建議加水味道更好。
咖喱好吃、烤肉很香搭配生菜很棒🤤

Diner Review №30

Exotic, Delish Thai and genuinely good! Sarah at the bar is Fabulous with the drinks. Love the happy Hour !! prices are great and even better r the drinks and appetizers!! Large plates are good but highly recommend the Happy Hour bites!!

Diner Review №31

I went there with my friends a couple weeks ago and we had such a good time. The food was amazing and very flavorful, we got the Tom kha soup and pad see u. Clay was our server and he was very respectful and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Diner Review №32

Just want to warn anyone not to give your credit card to the waiter, just pay to the machine directly. I got 5 unrecognized transactions, in the morning after the dinner last night. I was suspicious why took a while to get my credit card back after giving it to the waiter. I dont want to accuse any employee overthere but I have not used this particular credit card for a month.

Diner Review №33

service is so bad for items so expensive. curry doesn't even come with rice... you have to purchase even rice... servers come only to take your order and when you have to pay, then they are trying to be nice so they get a tip. they literally don't do anything. never coming back again. not authentic. front door greeter does not let me finish asking a question and just cuts me off and walks away too.

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

Great food and service.nice indoor and outdoor options for happy hour too.

Diner Review №36

I have always been very fond of Thai restaurants and am excited when newer restaurants that I haven’t yet tried out yet pop up.
Pineapple Thai has been around for at least a few years now at Main Street and they have an array of Thai dishes. We’ve visited Pineapple Thai a couple of times and have had good experiences.
I wish they would do pots of Thai soup like other Thai restaurants offer and while some of their dishes are decently sized, some are small. The flavors are delicious and it’s nice that they have outdoor seating as well.

Diner Review №37

I always loved every dish here!!! Recently my dad declared that it was the best duck he ever had!!! So that is good too! I had the papaya salad, great vegetarian dish!

Diner Review №38

The pad Thai is great.
The vibe is nice and not loud.
There's a free parking lot in front.

Diner Review №43

Been there twice. Food was just okay. A bit pricey.

Diner Review №44

Simplicity at it's best, manageable portions, visibly attractive, stunning flavors, a plethora of authentic selection, and all deliciously satisfying.
Thank you Dylan

Diner Review №45

Phad see ew with chicken was pretty good, chicken satay and Panang curry chicken with coconut rice were okay

Diner Review №46

每道菜都太好吃了,服务员特别热情周到

Diner Review №47

Had a lovely dinner here with my brothers. We ordered a few dishes and split them. If you have anyone in your party who is less keen on spicy food, may be best to check in with your server for some recommendations, as the food was delicious but some had a small kick to them. Was a clean in atmosphere, and quick with service.

Diner Review №48

Definitely one of fine Thai food in yet South Bay.

Good collection of wines, little collection of beers but great collection of fancy mock tails.

Resturant is in the mall called Main Street Cupertino.

It has nice walking area between the Restaurants.

Diner Review №49

Diner Review №50

I eat Thai food regularly so I was excited to try this place out, having walked by a bunch of times. We came late, 30 minutes before closing on a weekday. It was quiet and last call was in 15 minutes.

We ordered Pineapple Fried Rice and White Lotus Curry. The fried rice was simply the worst fried rice I have ever gotten at a restaurant. The rice was clumped and soggy like it had sat in an unregulated pot for hours. It was not fried and appeared to have just been stirred in some curry sauce. The centers of the soggy rice globs were still white. The pineapple and shrimps were large and plentiful but could not nearly make up for the execution. Honestly it was a disgrace to see rice served this way at a Thai restaurant, which should pride itself in high quality, fragrant jasmine rice.

The curry was reasonable, but the fish was pretty overcooked and dry. Quite disappointing for $30+ dollars but edible...

Overall we paid $70 across two people for what might have been the least value I've ever gotten from a meal of this cost. Our experience with the service staff was positive, as they met all our expectations. Strongly don't recommend this place overall. Two stars, as one star ratings reserved for issues like food poisoning. Many other better options in the immediate area.

Diner Review №51

The food I thought was good. Kinda overpriced, but expect that considered being next door to other high-end restaurants. If I come again, I probably wouldn't come here during work hours since service was so slow for me.

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

Cute place but overpriced.

Diner Review №54

Growing up as Thai Chinese, I have high standard of Thai food. To be honest, there are not many good Thai restaurants in the Bay Area, they are not authentic and add too much sugar. Pineapple Thai served authentic Thai food! I always go there for lunch, happy hours and dinner.
They have great menu with reasonable price, not to mentioned nice interior design and good service! Just host my big bday party there at the patio, everyone love the food! The servers are very attentive, all my guests feel like they have been taken care of. Thank you Ging, Rainny and the rest of the team!! You guys deserve my five stars review!
My favorite food
Dragon ball
Lychee pork salad
Papaya salad
Pixel wings
Veggies pastry
Garlic noodles
Pineapple fried rice
Tom yum soup with jumbo prawn
Mu Yang (the best!)
Boat noodles
Sausage
Mango sticky rice
Lots of good food!

Diner Review №55

ALERT!! I got food poisoning! We ordered 4 dishes which includes the pineapple fried rice and pan Thai. 🤯10 min after the meal, both me and my boyfriend got severe stomach aches!! 🫠
Then we both had diarrhea and my stomach hurt lasts for a whole afternoon.
Ruined our weekend. 😭😭

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Great food with good service.

Diner Review №59

Food was good but one of the servers that go by "Tom" was being rude at me for only tipping 15%.

Like all you did was bring me food that you didn't even cook.

Diner Review №60

I was trying to have a nice dinner out with friends, but unfortunately our server (Tom) wasn't the best. The food was decent, but we had extremely poor service, with our server consistently begging (I am not joking) for a high tip. We didn't end up tipping very high since we were consistently left without water, and basically had to hunt down a server each time we wanted to order something or ask for a refill of water. After we had tipped on the lower end our server (again Tom) made a point of being extremely rude to us for the rest of the time we were there.

Diner Review №61

Definitely 5 ⭐️. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. At this time I ordered Tom KHA soup and Pad Thai with seafood. My soup was very tasty 👍👍👍 i will go again. Also Most of people don’t know about free parking. Street parking busy.that’s why you can park in front of restaurant for free in parking garage.Nice place, nice location and open till late.

Diner Review №62

Delicious

Diner Review №63

I was quite happy with my meal here, especially the papaya salad—very fresh and tasty!

This is the second time I’ve had the sticky rice mango dessert in the US, and the sticky rice was prepared with pandan leaves, which made it very delicious. However, I prefer the sticky rice to be more loose and not pressed.

Diner Review №64

Diner Review №65

Definitely the aroma of Thai know how to fry!!! Ain’t no lie. Flavors caught me by surprise.
Had 2 power rangers cocktail

Diner Review №66

Loved the food and the services. Nicely done interiors.

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

The duck noodle is really underwhelming :( The noodles were overcooked and bland, which is not cool for $28😢

Diner Review №70

We walked in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. The server was friendly, professional and quick. We ordered the Dragon Balls for appetizers which were warm and fresh to taste. For entrees, we got the Chicken Pan Dong, Glazed Duck and Duck Salad. All three tasted great. It was all a bit too pricey, hence the 4 stars.
But we'll happily go back here again if we're ever in the area.

Diner Review №71

Amazing service and food. Has the pleasure of having a great cocktail with mezcal from an enthusiastic cocktail waitress who was also our server. Then we met the staff Khun’Champ and
Khun’Georgie. We drove from Palo Alto to try 😀 I’m a big fan of Pixel Wings because it’s hard to find. We also had the beef jerky. They knocked it out of the park with these appetizers. I plan to be back to try more drinks and also their happy hour!

Diner Review №72

Very fun place, very well located. In love with their pineapple rice with shrimp, definitely my go to Thai place in Cupertino.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

This is a good place for Thai food. Slightly on pricey side. Good place to celebrate special occasions. We ordered pad Thai, it was yummy but had strong egg flavor. Chicken satay, this was tender and the peanut sauce was flavorful. The Thai soap was comforting. It was hot and delicious. Overall a good place to visit. One thing they can improve is to add more vegetation/ chicken options.

Diner Review №75

Good food, fast service, good ambience

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

The portion of this place is ridiculous. The plate is only half full and the price doesn’t justify that. They also charged a wellness fee, I’ve asked them to take it off. Not visiting again!

Diner Review №78

The vibe of this place is really nice! The service was good and the staff were very friendly. We ordered pad kee mao which was good but a little spicy for me personally. Then we had their pineapple fried rice which was very flavorful. Also tried their chrysanthemum tea, it was okay just tastes like hot water.
At the end of the meal we ordered their pineapple pie for dessert! It was delicious, the filling was very tasty and pie was flaky and buttery. The coconut ice cream on top was yummy too, it had a little bit of a tough texture but the taste was pretty good!

Diner Review №79

Ambience, food, cocktails and service is pretty good. Very much satisfied. Reservation is recommended. Our Server is Taylor and she did pretty good job.

Diner Review №80

Tasty food and nice environment.

Diner Review №81

Great Thai restaurant !
Ordered papaya salad , delicious but be careful if you are not enjoy spicy !
Chicken satay - just ok , hope they can grill more with real . charcoal
Fired Calamari was the best dish in that night , tender and light crispy , sweet sour sauce good match with that !
Pad Thai with pork , very good , rice noodle texture great ( don’t like too soft ), with slice pork , yummy !
Service is friendly and great !

Diner Review №82

Food wasn't special in terms of taste, portions were small, and it was expensive. Wait time was so long, we ordered food and it took over 30 min. There's a 3% "wellness" charge that they put in small print on the front of the menu. I guess it's to cover employee benefits but you'd think a company would just give their employees benefits automatically ??? Also you can't get it removed

Diner Review №83

As most reviewers have said, ambience is good but food is overpriced and very mid. Pretty much sums it up.

*They have a good variety on their menu and everything is nicely plated; I'll give them that. It is also conveniently located in Main Street Cupertino.

Diner Review №86

Food was awesome and flavorful but the drinks were mediocre. Just next to Eureka this is med sized Thai restaurant with outdoor seating options. Recommend the calamari and prawn curry!

Diner Review №87

I visited Pineapple Thai recently with my team. The service was great, and our server was very attentive. However, the food was only average. Given the reviews I had read, I was expecting something more special.

Diner Review №88

The food is pretty good, but it’s a bit on the expensive side given it’s location.

Diner Review №99

We really loved the pineapple theming, but the food was overpriced and not that tasty.

We got the shrimp pineapple, duck dynasty and the salmon run. The shrimp pineapple had a really overpowering mint leaf. The duck was good but we wish they gave more of the sauce. And the salmon was just ok.

Diner Review №100

Nice cozy place in Cupertino . Prices are on the expensive side . i had pad kee mao and it was really nice and spicy . Will come back again

Diner Review №101

Diner Review №102

Great food, hospitable staff. Definitely will be back. You have to try the pineapple fried rice.

Diner Review №103

Love this place

Diner Review №104

I will probably give a 3.5 if google allows 0.5 star. Came for the pineapple dessert that has coconut ice cream except that it has nothing to do with coconut ice cream I had in Thailand. Tastes just like vanilla gelato which is kinda disappointing. Other dishes are about average thai food but slightly overpriced. Good location and good vibes in the restaurant.

Diner Review №105

Liked the ambience, outdoor area was great. Unfortunately, every dish was very average. Kind of disappointing.

Diner Review №106

Food was not great, but the ambiance was good.

Diner Review №107

Portions are smaller than other Thai places but food tastes great.

Diner Review №108

Very nice ambience. Not the most authentic Thai food.

Diner Review №109

I've eaten at this restaurant so many times with family and friends. The service is wonderful. The food is delicious. The ambiance is relaxing.

Our kids love pandan rice, pad see ew and sesame chicken.

Diner Review №110

First time here, food was delicious, friendly staff and not too busy.

Diner Review №111

It's a good deal for happy hour: $10 for food, $10 for cocktails, and $6 for beers.

Diner Review №112

Diner Review №113

Was there last year and this time felt some thing is not right. Spoon was not clean even with a piece of noodle on it. They apologized but this should not happen and I felt the kitchen is short handed. Saw a guest leaving after long wait. The food was not up to the price. Really wish they improve and get back to where they were

Diner Review №114

Tried a dessert made of coconut ice-cream, pineapple sauce, pie and mint. Must try.

Diner Review №115

We went on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit indoors. The indoor seating feels somewhat cramped for space, since the tables are very close by. The food was alright, although I found it pricey for what we ordered. The cocktails took a *long* time to come out. Especially the one in the power ranger mug, it arrived almost after I was finished with my Pineapple fried rice. Our server was apologetic and kept telling us that it's on the way. It seemed like they were out of the mugs that they served the drink in, and were waiting on another patron to finish their drink, so they could use that mug for my drink after cleaning. I feel the place is alright to give a try, the ambience is nice and the cocktails are good. Food tasted okay, but I feel someone can get much flavorful Thai food elsewhere for much less.

Diner Review №116

Loved the pineapple cups for the Thai iced tea. Delicious food and good presentation as well.

Diner Review №117

I love it the pad thai

Diner Review №118

Get the calamari and the sticky rice, delicious!

The service was fast, friendly, and caring. Sean was our waiter and was very attentive and kind.

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

The heng leh curry and mango sticker rice were super good! A little on the small side for the curry for the price, but the awesome taste made up for it!

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

I love the ambience of this food. Good food and fast service

Diner Review №124

We always strongly recommended this place in the past, but this time it was a bit different experience. The menu changed, the the prices dramatically increased, the fact of not able to pay with different credit cards for separating the bill (up to 2 cards) affected on service experience. It definitely moves down from the first and default Thai food option in the past to much lower preference for us.

Diner Review №125

Enjoyed lunch at Pineapple Thai with coworkers. I tried the Phanaeng Curry with Tofu and the Green Curry with Tofu. Both were delicious. They could stand to be a little less watery however. The tables and chairs were a little smallish inside. The vibe and cleanliness of the restaurant were good.
Service was attentive and nice, only a little slow.

Diner Review №126

Not one to post reviews but the staff and their service along with the great food and drinks had us really impressed. Will definitely return more times.

Diner Review №127

We couldn't figure out what to eat, so we just came to this plaza to find this new gem. At the moment you walk in, the staffs are so friendly with a cozy ambiance both inside and out. We tried the pad thai with pork (flavorful, pork slices different from other thai restaurants), smelt fish (so good! They said it's thai traditional food), coconut rice (actually green from the leaf with just enough frangrance), beef curry (I believe it's their special), and Cha Cha Matcha drink to go with everything. We loved our server and the whole experience there. Will definitely be back!

Diner Review №128

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Horrible food, pineapple fried rice is just turmeric rice, for 19$ the quantity of curry is very little. The manager is also very rude.

Very tasty pad see ew with chicken, and extremely tasty mango sticky rice!! Our server Taylor was wonderful, nice, and attentive. She always had our water glasses filled, and the staff was able to bring out the dessert at the perfect time for our group of 7 to share. Two of our party showed up late, at the time of lunch closing (2:30) on Memorial Day, and they were able to still get their food because the staff did a last call for food orders. We'll be coming back again for sure!

Diner Review №141

bad portion sizes for the price. there's so many Thai restaurants in the Bay Area where you'll get a ton of high quality food around too, so not sure what the appeal is. the pad thai and green curry was average here and the green curry doesn't come with rice either - you have to add a small bowl.. we didn't want to order drinks - partly because most of the cocktails were $18? and it didn't seem worth it at all. the waiter kept prompting us and asking if we wanted to order anything else. i guess he wasn't satisfied that we only ordered an entrée each... they asked if we wanted the heater opened outside and we said yes, then the waiter and the manager proceeded to chatter and bicker about whether opening the heater was necessary for the next 5 minutes before they finally turned it on and motioned for us to sit. the next party that came to dine outside requested for the heater and they waited 10 minutes before coming back to turn it on. service was so bad - you only get your order taken, then someone from the kitchen brings the food out, and you'll see your waiter again when they bring you the check. that's all. no small talk or any smiles. this type of service does not fit the price point or the Main Street vibe...

Diner Review №142

Very good Thai food. This place is fairly trendy, so when going on days like mother's day, I recommended making a reservation (and service may take slightly longer). My group's favorite dish was the chicken satay. 10/10 most definitely recommend.

Diner Review №143

This place never disappoints! This time we had fresh rolls, vegetable pastry, pineapple fried rice and green curry. Everything was delicious and the attention to detail on service was impeccable. Diner Review №150

My first two meals at Pineapple Thai were excellent. But my three subsequent meals have been disappointing. The three disappointments were: 1) duck was overcooked, not juicy and tender; 2) Cornish game hen was overcooked so badly that I left 2/3 of it uneaten; 3) a meal was served when it was not hot, was lukewarm.

On two of those problem occasions, I told the waitress about the food problem. Her response was: I will tell the cook. On one occasion I informed the manager and his response was: I will tell the cook. What was disappointing was the neither the manager nor the waitress apologized. They should have. And they should have offered some recourse to me, such as some $$ off the cost or a gift card for my next visit. They did neither. And that is poor management and waitress training. The impression is that they do not care.

The Pineapple Thai manager and wait staff are quite friendly. The décor is pleasant.

So I was disappointed that I had three meal problems and no offer of help.

I may try them again or I may not,

It would be good if the manager or the owner reaches out to me to offer something. Otherwise, I conclude that Pineapple Thai does not care about customer satisfaction. There are a lot of other Thai restaurants without similar problems.

Diner Review №151

Since the beginning everything was wrong, they wanted us to seat wherever they wanted ( not where we wanted) and the restaurant wasnt even packed, they didn't even bring water to our table or an extra menu. The services people (specifically a white boy) didnt wanted to go to our table to take our order. We were the only ones actually waiting to be attended. Then a white lady seats next to us and this white boy, goes directly to her and starts acting all nice and asking if she wanted water and asking for her order immediately, we couldnt hold it anymore and we just left the restaurant. Was clearly a case of discrimination for some weird reason honestly, we left the place feeling humiliated and miss treated….Honestly this place should not be operating. Hope whoever have an experience like ours (racism, discrimination or any other miss behavior) can find this review helpful. Its honestly weird to keep experiencing this type of behavior here en california. To you white boy hope you learn how to deal with interracial couples and people with different cultures.

The food was excellent!!! The menu featured a large variety of Thai food options and cocktails.

The Crispy Garlic Smelt Fish and Calamari were light and crispy!! The Thai pad was tasty with the perfect balance between sweet and savory. The Gang Panaeng curry was so rich and creamy, it was so delicious with the coconut pandan-flavored rice and sticky rice.

🍍Last but not least, if you love pineapple as much as I do, then you have to get the pineapple delight! It’s so freaking delicious with coconut ice cream!

Super friendly staff and service. If you love Thai food and are in Cupertino then you need to visit this place.

Diner Review №158

We came from out of town, first time here. The service was extremely unprofessional and the staff was very unwelcoming. We ordered some cocktail, the drinks were mostly water and sugar, food was greasy and no taste, we felt like we got ripped off by this restaurant. We asked to speak to Manager, he showed up after a while, he said well, this is how we make food, and was very argumentative and defensive.
PLS TAKE CAUTION BEFORE COMING HERE. I RECOMMEND ORCHID THAI IN CAMPBELL, AUTHENTIC TASTE, HUMBLE STAFF

Super inventive cocktails in cute glasses. Pad Thai and Green curry chicken + summer roll lunch specials were delicious. Nice dog friendly patio with overhang shade or sun. Outdoor heaters during cooler temps. Great service and delicious food. Will be back!

Diner Review №160

Food was extremely delicious. Seasoned to perfection. I recommend this place to everyone. I honestly wasn't expecting the food to be tasty but I was surely wrong. It was my Birthday dinner. I will definitely come back.

Diner Review №161

We had a lovely date night at Pineapple Thai in Cupertino. They feature vegetarian dishes highlighting Thai cuisine.

Ambiance: 4/5
The cozy atmosphere, servers in Hawaiian-shirts, and a mural of Bruce Lee holding a pineapple all contributed to the cheerful vibe. Indoor/outdoor seating options are available, which we look forward to trying next time.

Service: 3/5
Although we arrived late, the staff kindly accommodated us. The service was slow throughout the evening, and there was a minor hiccup when our server forgot to bring our Green Curry. However, the staff quickly corrected the oversight.

Food: 4/5
* Summer Rolls (4/5): Refreshing and flavorful with a delightful peanut dipping sauce.
* Drunken Noodles (4/5): not listed on the menu, but the kitchen made upon request. Savory, sweet, and tangy, but less spicy than we preferred. Ask for extra heat if desired.
* Pineapple Fried Rice (3/5): Fell short of our flavor expectations.
* Green Curry with Tofu (5/5): Perfectly spicy, creamy, and fragrant.
* Mango Iced Tea (4/5): A deliciously fruity palate cleanser.

Overall, despite the slow service, we enjoyed the food and overall experience.
Note: Pineapple Thai charges a 3% wellness fee on the bill. Spice lovers, don't hesitate to ask for extra heat!

The desserts here are amazing. I loved the coconut (pandan) sticky rice.

THE BEST THAI FOOD IN SAN JOSE that I have ever had ! At a friend's suggestion, seven of us ate dinner here. It is a lovely venue in an upscale mall Everyone at the restaurant was very cordial and the food was delicious. The soup was thinner than I was accustomed to having, but the PAD THAI was DELICIOUS and with an unusual smokey flavor. We ordered the calamari, which was so succulent, we ordered it several times.
Our waiter, Joseph, had a phenomenal memory and made useful suggestions I really enjoyed. I usually order mango sticky rice, but mangoes are out of season, so I had custard on FRESH, WARM sticky rice served on a china platter with a banana leaf. ALL the dishes were served on blue and white china - NOT plastic or paper!
ALL the staff were unfailingly gracious and hospitable.

I celebrated a double bday celebration here with my friends and again for my daughter’s birthday celebration with just a couple of her friends. The service okay during the first visit but it was tough during the second one - they’re were probably short of server or something. It was hard to get anybody’s attention. Food is good enough but ambience is great! We were so entertained by the blooming jasmine tea. Try it! I could come back here again but maybe not on a busy brunch shift.

~ 8 PM 2/2/23 | Ng, S | Uber eats delivery order | Pad Tai heavily under cooked on one side, no Wok flavor.

The papaya salad was heavily spiced to the point where our mouths were numb for 1+ hours. We threw the dish into the garbage after a couple of bites.

We have been coming to this location for the past two plus years. This was our absolute worst experience to date ordering from here. What happened? This place went straight down hill after opening. Even eating in had been a horrible experience on our last visit. Our only reason for attempting to order remotely was for the Papaya Salad. The kitchen staff completely ruined that experience for that us tonight.

Is the staff trying to make us sick? We're not taking any risk. Contact your local FSIS if you also experienced what we had.

Great food, good flavors, plenty of options for vegetarians.

Extremely underwhelming food and service. only thing which tasted good was pineapple fried rice. The grilled prawn were gritty sandy and undercooked! The summer rolls fillings were skimped. Every else was just ok. The food took forever to get to the table. They missed our entree dishes. And the food menu isn’t really cheap either.

Delicious food and amazing service from Tom and the sweet smily staff 🥳💜

It's ok

Diner Review №174

The food was good. Drinks were really good too.

One issues was the space. We made a reservation for 2 and the table didn’t even hold enough space to put our drinks. It was very congested. I saw that other 2 people parties had made reservations for 4 so they got a bigger table.

Also very overpriced for the portions.

What a mistake to come!
The male host arranged us to sit outside because we didn't have a reservation, took him a while to turn on the patio heater, by then I was already feeling cold and uncomfortable.
Took a long half an hour for the food to show up, they forgot about us- the patio people. No apology was offered. I was almost ready to leave.
Food was terrible, unauthentic & very expensive with small quantity.
Oxtail soup had oxtails in mostly bones and were hard to chew. Green scallions scattered all over, what a lousy presentation. $8 for a small bowl. Tasted worse than my home-made soup.
Rice plate had rice tasting of pepper. Grill pork salad was a small bowl with lettuce, some pork, and three pieces of lychee for $17.
Service sucked to hign heaven, instead of bringing the food fast, they were more worried about getting tips. The whole experience was fake and superficial. I can see through it.
I did not like my experience at Pineapple Thai and would never come back. Do not recommend it!

Pineapple Thai is a delicious and unique take on traditional Thai cuisine. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which are infused with the sweet and tangy flavor of pineapple.
One of the standout dishes at Pineapple Thai is the classic green curry. The curry is rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. The pineapple adds a nice sweetness that balances out the spiciness of the curry perfectly. The chicken in the curry is also cooked to perfection and is incredibly tender.
The service at Pineapple Thai is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are more than happy to make recommendations or adjust dishes to suit your tastes.
Overall, Pineapple Thai is a great choice for anyone looking for delicious and unique Thai cuisine. The pineapple infusion adds a refreshing twist to traditional Thai dishes, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Pineapple Thai is a fine place for fine Thai food. The vegetarian pad see ew was amazing as were the endless spring rolls on the happy hour menu - don't be fooled by "endless" as it's not truly endless as we learned, you are charged for ordering each time, but name aside it's quite good. Plenty of seating both inside and outdoors in a pleasant ambience. I definitely recommend this spot!

Went in for some small plates and a couple drinks with a friend while it was pouring rain and was greeted by the friendliest staff!!!

Ordered chicken wings, calamari and ribs and server had amazing drink suggestions so we left it up to the mixologist.

Food was AMAZING and that mixologist behind the bar created impressive drinks~

This restaurant is located in a nice spot in the Main Street Cupertino area, and finally got a chance to try it today!

We arrived around noon on a Thursday. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily we were able to get a table right away. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was bright and inviting. I was in the mood for some curry, was slightly disappointed that they either come in dinner portion (rice ordered separately) or a lunch "set" which includes a bunch of other stuff for ~$25. I decided on the set to try out the salad and spring roll, but probably would've preferred to just have this served as lunch portion with rice.

The food arrived quickly, and all the items were delicious. The penang curry has a nice kick to it. I was a little surprised their default spicy level is maybe med-strong. I enjoyed it but some people may want to tone it down if they're not used to this type of spice. One thing I will note - the staff kept coming by to pick up every bowl as we finished. While I appreciate fast service, this does interrupt the table conversation each time and I don't think that's quite necessary (unless they're doing it intentionally to make us eat faster?)

Anyway, I did enjoy the meal and will come back. I will try some of the other dishes on the lunch menu!

It’s very cute restaurant, reasonable price and good service. Pineapple juice and fried calamari are highly recommended. The other dishes are good but nothing is ready stand out compared to other Thai Restaurant.

Enjoyed multiple appetizers and enjoyed their cocktails. The food was amazing. Garlic noodles with duck added was just a fantastic dish. I was highly impressed with the menu and quality of the food. The service and attentive staff was an increased bonus to the experience.

Vegetarian green curry was average at best. They charged mandatory gratuity despite their service being super slow. There are plenty better Thai places in the area, save yourself the trouble :)

Came here for a pre Thanksgiving feast with my sister and our 2 small dogs. We sat on the patio and had the heater on. This time of year its dark and cold by 5pm but we were very comfortable.

Our server was Nha and she had the menu down and explained a couple of dishes I didnt know. I lived in Thailand for a bit while in school, and I'm very picky. Between my sister and I we ordered 5 entrées, and 3 desserts. And we stuffed ourselves because it was so good. We will be coming back. I live in Santa rosa and Ill be driving my partner down just for this resturant and hopefully we get the same server as we really liked her, but all of the staff we interacted with was wonderful.

I just wish I had ordered more to bring home and have again tomorrow as Im finishing the left overs as I write this.

Fancy Thai restaurant.

Diner Review №191

The food was pretty good but I feel like you could’ve gotten the same anywhere else. The actual food was very delicious and I had no complaints about the restaurant or the food… you can get the same quality I feel anywhere else that’s why I gave it only a 4 stars. But I ordered the pad Thai and if you want something simple but yummy I highly recommend it.

It was my very first time trying Thai food and I had a great experience. We were seated outside. It was beautiful and cozy. Their dishes were so aesthetically pleasing to look at. Everything matched perfectly. The food was delicious and coconut ice-cream was my favorite. I’m definitely coming back here again.

Super slow service. Once seated with my water I waited over 35 minutes. Excuse was that there was a power outage in the kitchen.

Nice ambience in a hip location, but the food left much to be desired. Oily smelly friend rice with pieces of chicken bone and eggshell. The pad Thai was..meh. This place is an advertising for what Thai food is not.
