This is my new fave Thai place. Everything was delicious. I ordered the curry fried rice and yellow curry chicken with bamboo shoots and eggplant. Yum yum yum I’ll prob be ordering fr here once a week. The waiter/cashier dude was also very nice n pleasant. I ordered the curry fried rice without pineapple and raisins and cooks mistakenly made it regular and I was fine with just picking it out but he insisted on making it right. Great customer service.

Stop by for quick Thai food. After ordering, food came out within 10 minutes. Overall the food was just okay. The yellow curry was relatively light and the potatoes were still semi-raw. The pad see ew was more on the salty soy side. I think the highlight of the meal was the mango sticky rice.

The best Thai restaurant in Chula Vista! Service is very nice! The food is beyond amazing! Our favorite dish is bbq chicken and south side fried chicken!!! They come with sticky rice. The portion is very big (Good for sharing), flavorful and tender! We will definitely come back!!

Have gotten take out here 3 times and every time has been great. Currys, spring rolls, Tom yum soup, ribeye massaman, all great, will be back

Had a lovely night here with a group of friends before a show over at southwestern college. Great Thai milk teas. Fresh, delicious food. Service was so so. I order an appetizer for dinner and everyone’s entrees came out before my spring rolls!

I would definitely go back to try their drunken noodles.

Found this place by chance, but glad I did. Ordered the avocado curry, and the pumpkin curry. Food was delicious to say the least, service was excellent and the price for the food was extremely reasonable. Will coma back to try other menu items but it is worth the drive.

Chiang Mai, here I come!

The fresh spring rolls is one of my fav dishes, but they gave me a weird brown sauce, Not peanut sauce. And even this was in short supply for 2 rolls. The plating was weird and the food was off. Didn't taste good. Just Strange. Not usual thai food. Portions were fine, but it didn't taste delicious. Limited food variety. The service was good, but I wish the food was much better.

Our 1st time at this restaurant. Decided to try it after being at the movie theater a mile away. Though we normally take-out thai we decided to dine in because it was so cute, clean and had cozy booths. Our Server was curteous and our food arrived quickly. We ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls, the Southside fried chicken, and drunken chicken noodles (level 3 spice, just hot enough). All dishes were fresh and absolutely delicious. Will be going back soon.

Very clean, casual restaurant. The food is so delicious here. A great selection of traditional offerings including Kra Prao Gai, Massaman Ribeye and many more. Service has always been great. It has become our go-to restaurant. Highly recommended!!

I come here all the time! They have great vegan and vegetarian options. My favorites are the Tom Khar soup, tofu spring rolls and sticky mango rice. Love that there is such a yummy Thai restaurant in Chula Vista.

This is my good to place whenever I want great Thai Food! My fav is both the pineapple and mango curries! Highly recommended! Prices are reasonable. Perfect for takeout to relax at home.

Simply Fresh Thai is amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, full of rich and authentic Thai flavors. Every dish we tried was a delight, making it hard to pick a favorite. It's a small, cozy place, but that just adds to its charm. The staff is super friendly and courteous, making sure you feel welcome and well taken care of. We enjoyed our meal so much that we went back the very next day. If you love Thai food, you have to check this place out. Highly recommend!

They used to have a really good papaya salad, that I would recommend coming here on its own, but the version I had recently seems less cohesive and a little less freshly cut. It's absolutely amazing. Willing to drive 3 hours to eat here from Palm Springs . Family owned mother does the cooking. My friend is from Thailand says it's like home cooking.

Terrible service. Went in with more than 30 minutes prior to closing with my family and they basically told us there was not enough time for us to dine in. Took our business to another Thai restaurant where the service was much, much better.

Name of restaurant definitely represents its fare. The drunken noodles, green curry, and shrimp spring rolls were delicious, fresh, and plentiful. We recommend this restaurant if you like authentic Thai cuisine.

This is my 5th time in a row they have messed up my order. I simply ordered spicy crab fried rice. The rice was not even mild. What is the point of asking the customer what they want if you are going to give them whatever you want to. This is extremely frustrating as I want to give this small business a chance

Tried this place tonight for the first time. Hands down the best Thai food I have had in SD. Had the Tom Kha soup and Mango Curry. Both were incredibly flavorful. Will be back!

My husband ordered the Pineapple Curry, and I ordered one of their original specials called Khao Soi. We both thought that this was the best Thai food we've had by far in Chula Vista (not to insult the others, but this was really good.)

This was our first time eating at Simply Fresh Thai (formerly Thai Fresh 2). The staff was friendly and the wait was short despite being there at dinner time. We ordered the papaya salad, gyoza, tom yum soup, I had the pad see-ew, my husband had khao soi, and we both had thai iced tea. Everything was delicious, a bit better than the average Thai restaurant I’d say, my husband especially loved the khao soi and my toddler loved the gyoza and the salad luckily lol. We definitely plan on coming here more often as my husband is excited to try more from the special menu and we enjoyed our experience.
