I love a good lunch special, and after living here for so many years, this was my first trip to Thai Anantra.

I tried the sesame shrimp, which is #12 on their specials menu. It comes with rice and a salad, and at $12.95, it's definitely a steal.

I also ordered their Thai tea, which looked absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't wait to mix it up.

The staff was incredibly kind, and our food arrived quickly. If you're in a hurry during your lunch break, this place is definitely worth a visit.

They were a little plain tasting, however the sauce that came with them gave them a boost. I ordered my meal to go and it was still super hot when I got home. That’s a plus!!

I was craving for Tom Yum soup, and we decided to find a Thai place to have dinner. Its even our first time here. And the expecatation was on point. Food was amazing, i love the drunken noodles. The ambiance,we have a baby they were able to accomodate us plus the service is great. Pricing are reasonable. We would come back for sure!!!

It's very small inside, and clean. However, if there is a large party, or a party with children that are poorly behaved (actually an issue with poorly behaved parents), then there will be no place to hide from it. It is very cozy.

The folks are very friendly, and very attentive. The menu is broad, and the food is very fresh.

Parking is tight, but there are a number of spaces available.

I have had pad Thai so many time in my life, all over the country. This was the worst most lame pad Thai that I have ever had, noodles were dry and flavor less..How
do you screw up a pad Thai lol it’s one of the most popular thing to order. Wasn’t even worth saving. Don’t waste your money like I did :(

The food was SO delicious.
I felt at home, as if I were being served a home cooked meal, so delicious again, thank you 😊.
Quiet and quaint, I was very comfortable there. Enough food to take some home to eat later or for a neighbor.

The waiter (man) gave bad service, took long to give us our food when we were there first.

The host doesn't seem pleasant whatsoever and doesn't even greet you properly. Brought out my lunch, and the person with me had to wait for theirs for over 10 mins. My lunch got cold from me waiting for the other person's meal since it would be rude for me to start to eat mine while my co-worker waited on theirs. Apetizer was brought out way after both meals were served. Please do better.

This restaurant deserves more than five stars! Get the Alaskan Salmon—it's really, really good. This place is less than a block from my office, and the Thai tea did not let me down. I'm not sure why I hadn't visited before. It's quite affordable because of the fair costs.

Now that I've been here twice I could definitely say the food here is quite good. I haven't dined in yet, but usually I like to pick up to go and although I can say they're usually busier than you would think the service is usually quite good everyone's pretty nice, although sometimes it feels like they don't want to give you extra soy sauce or chili sauce. If you ask for it they will do it. The ambiance is quite cozy so I would say it's a cool place. If you want to pop in for lunch or something. Do be aware they do have a parking lot but it can get a little packed at times so keep that in mind but I would definitely say it's a good place to check out.

Parking is hard. Was packed during weekdays lunch. Looks to be a bit understaffed that day we went. Food is really good and decently priced.

I cannot express how upset I am with the service I experienced today at this restaurant. The older man with tattoos took our order and rushed us. He was walking away as I ordered and wasn't even finished. Then he kept rushing me In a disrespectful manner. At first I believed it was because it was busy but then I saw how he treated other customers. He handed the check and thanked other guest but he slammed our check and just walked away. I would never recommend this location until you reeducated your servers.

I ordered the yellow curry and the chicken was dry. The curry itself was watered down as well. No flavor.

5 stars is not enough for this restaurant! Order the Alaskan Salmon, and wow, simply delicious. The Thai tea did not disappoint, I'm not sure why I didn't come here before, is less than a block from my office. The prices are reasonable, so it's very affordable.

My first time to order here and the ground chicken flavor was not good. The raw onions on top didn't do any good to add flavor. It tasted bitter.

Just found my new favorite Thai restaurant!
From the minute I set foot at this place I think the owner was so nice and alway checking on me asking how was the food and if I needed anything. The food was amazing very well explained menu with variety of food and explained if was vegetarian, gluten-free, tofu, and I like it it was so easy for me to pick (I’m a very picky eater). The place wad super clean and nice and the background music was excellent. Definitely will come often. FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s hard to not love this place. This lunch specials are hard to beat, the food is ridiculously delicious, and the employees are always so kind.

The good part about this specific location compared to the one on topanga is they have weekday appetizer specials. Truly a bargain.

Overall , I highly recommend Anantra.

They serve the best Thai fried rice and pad see ew I've ever ate. The price is amazing. The restarunt looks new and has a awesome vibe. The service is excellent. Overall 10/10. Ate here probably 20+ times and the food and service has always been 10/10.

The 2 stars are for the ample parking and the spotless dining area. I had takeout and didn’t stay, but it looked lovely, and the staff was kind. The dishes that I ordered had all of the usual ingredients but zero flavor. I asked for “medium” but still no spice. I order from Thai restaurants for the cultural spices that aren’t sold at Ralph’s. The kafir leaves and galangal were missing. So imagine ordering Thai food at the Ralph’s deli counter. This is how it would taste.

You’ll need proof of vaccination to dine-in. Prik King Spicy Chicken with string beans & chili sauce. The rice size is about a small fist. I had to order another side rice which is about the same size. Other than that this one meal made me full (string beans). Usually I can eat more...nope.

Used to love this place, but honestly I feel like the service has gone down. They sent us an offer since I’m on the phone mailing list for a free special entree with purchase of $40- so of course I wanted to get it. We followed the link they provided and when the site prompted us “Redeem coupon?” we chose yes. However, we get our food, and no free entree. We called, and they just continued to tell us we needed a “coupon code.” The people over the phone were quite rude, especially given that this was a coupon especially provided for returning customers. The text did not provide any code, nor did the site they linked ask for a code. So basically, we spent $50 on food and never received the promotion we were promised. I love this place- I went here for my birthday, and my mom’s birthday. But clearly they don’t respect their customers, so I’m going to avoid eating here in the future. If you order here, be aware that you probably have to read the fine print before doing so.

Ordered the lemongrass chicken and shrimp soup and orange chicken. Seemed like a cute place in a not so great location. The soup lacked flavor and the shrimp was very fishy. The orange chicken didn't taste fresh and was tough not tender. Left me rather disappointed.

It's so good. The tum yum soup is on point. The curry too. Fried rice was good. I can't complain. They had outdoor seating. Customer service was good too. Can't wait to come again! And their dessert omg must try!!!

Ordered pad Thai and it had no flavor, just noodles soaked in tomato sauce. Chicken was just boiled with no flavor. Try something else maybe.

Went for dinner, food was ok. Americanized thai food. Service was ok, came to ask us 1 time and if we were ready to order. 9pm came around and waitress cleared our table without asking....not again

Food was full of flavor. Really enjoyed their well prepared desert dishes. I will be going back again and again. Looking forward to trying their lunch menu.

Glad we decide to come eat. What we ordered was really good. It was clean, calm and a relaxed environment. The only thing is their was only two servers, as soon as we sat down and placed our order a large crown came in and several small groups. it did take a long time for us to get someone attention. They were more attentive to the larger groups. Overall it was good food would come back just not too hungry.

The restaurant is nice, new, and clean. The staff is friendly. But that's the only nice things I can say. The crunchy veggie rolls were like taquitos that are 2/3 filled. The Pad See You although not bad wasn't good either. The noodles fall apart and were bland. I couldnt taste any garlic. For almost $20 its definitely not worth it when I can get the same flavors at Panda Express.

So wemt back and basically the lunch specials have a little more flavors but still weak when I think of what I expect from Vietnamese food. The only thing that had flavor was the lemon mayo on the lemon chicken.

Their food is amazing! It did take a bit of a wait for the food to come out, but that may have been because there was a large party that got sat around the same time as us. The staff were very friendly and apologetic for the wait and made sure we were happy and taken care of while we waited.

Every dish was delicious. We got the Crying Tiger, Pad Thai, Crab Fried Rice, Yellow Curry, Fresh n' Gingerly, and a Prik King with chicken. It's important to note that they use real crab meat in their fried rice was very pleasant. Sometimes I know some places use imitation crab.

The parking lot is TINY. There are around maybe 7-10 parking spots? But if you can find a spot, it's worth eating here! The restaurant is also on the smaller size as well.

Anantra Thai Restaurant in Canoga Park was alot better then I expected. It's a brand new looking restaurant. Very conservative and clean feel to the place. With awesome service to add. The food didn't exactly "blow me out of the water" but it wasn't bad or anything like that. My entire party of 5 all left full, so no complaints there. I did notice they have pretty good lunch specials Monday-Friday. I'm definitely going to come back and give a few more dishes a try.

This restaurant is next to our office, and we sometimes go to Anantra for lunch. The food is great, the service is efficient, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I am glad they opened. My employees and I like it.

2nd time here. Just opened a month ago. I ordered the gingerly chicken with white rice. The food was amazingly delicious! The tender chicken and carrots and celery and ginger sauce was all sorts of nom noms. The service was attentive and very friendly. The price point of my meal is just slightly above average cost but the quality of what I ordered was delicious! I would recommend to give this new cozy little place a try.
