St. Pete's longest running Thai restaurant. Serving authentic Thai food since 1988.
I really liked my panang curry (not pictured) and my partner liked his dish too. The shrimp app was good the calamari not so much. I wish there was better ambiance, the lack of music just kinda forced us to listen to nearby table's conversations. The ladies were super friendly.
I am sure that in Siam Garden's heyday, the gardens would have looked awesome. Now neglected and having to pass the "gardens" to the entrance certainly not a good sign for new guests with a name like Siam Gardens. Having eaten there three times raving about their brown sauce on the Crispy Duck, I brought along a critical chef with me. Of course, his first comment was, "If it looks this bad outside, imagine what the kitchen looks like!"
I knew to take him into the larger dining room instead of the smaller DR having with greater visual appeal.
Food: When a restaurant is stingy with food, I will lower the rating by one point. Usually in Thai restaurants, an Orchid bloom is placed atop each Thai dish, not here.. Nor do they serve the traditional soup and spring rolls with lunches. They are also the only Thai restaurant I've been to that still doesn't offer the Spice Tray in the beautiful Thai ceramic dishes. Having had stopped the spice tray from Covid. Instead, the server brought to the table THREE tiny plastic to go containers per person. Missing the imperative chopped birds eye chilis in fish sauce of which EVERY Thai restaurant that I have reviewed in the past 3 yrs that have not brought back the ceramic dishes filled with FOUR types of hot chilis to include red pepper flakes, chili sauce, chrushed peppers and Birds eye chilis. NOT Three types of chilis and NEVER American pickled sliced Jalepenos that Siam Garden serves. STINGY!
The seafood sampler platter is a must! Ample for two guests. The fried shrimp and squid wasn't greasy at all. The curry puffs included in the platter are better than most Thai restaurants excluding the Orchid.
The Papaya Salad was average, but I appreciated using Hericot Verts instead of American green beans. No Thai basil or cilantro in the salad and no orchid.
The crispy duck was served with the best brown sauce I've had in Tpa Bay. Fresh ginger and lemongrass in the sauce makes for a fresh, lively sauce compared to the Black pepper or Garlic sauces. The sliced Duck breast is served atop a generous mixture of vegetables. Zucchini, carrots, onions, and cabbage, more vegetables than most Thai restaurants.
The crispy duck is the star. However, that cutely cut bunny eared lemon served on the lip of the ice tea glass may beg to differ who's the star here!
Had dinner here for the first time tonight by accident since the restaurant we were planning to go to was closed and I am SO HAPPY we did. The food was delicious and the price was amazing too. Our server was super friendly and everything came out very quick. I can’t wait to go back!
This establishment has continually provided friendly service, delicious food and fair pricing since my first visit in the late 90s. No matter your taste for the day they provide it freshly prepared and served with a smile.
I highly recommend Siam Gardens. You won’t be disappointed.
I onced lived very near this restaurant and have watched it increase in size and continue to taste most excellent. I ordered delivery tonight and was excited to try after many years. I ordered the papaya salad and some fresh Rolls. I was so ready to eat I forgot to take pictures of fresh Rolls. Fresh Rolls often come with peanut sauce or hoisen, this one hoisen and it was most tasty. I also thoroughly enjoyed the papaya salad 🥗. I look forward to eating there in person someday real soon! I will also say it was delivered prompt and fresh.

Quick service and great food, a lot of personality in the of Thai.
Great food, nice people
Delicious chicken Penang. Only been here once before but very good!
I have been going to this restaurant for years. My parents, the Erdmans, who passed away absolutely loved it. My daughter is coming to town to visit and this is the first place on her list of things she wants to do.
I have ordered pad thai several times from Siam Garden Thai. I would highly recommend the shrimp pad thai. I also love to get the crab rangoons, spring rolls, and veggie dumplings. Staff is always friendly. I will continue to be a loyal customer.
Very long running for Thai food with friendly, welcoming staff and reliably tasty food.
A St. Petersburg "institution."
Overall a great spot for remote work. It combines a comfortable working environment with excellent coffee and snacks, making it a place I’ll definitely return to.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a productive workday outside the office.
Ordered drunken noodles dish and requested mild plus "not spicy" comment to ensure and was made it's waaaay too spicy to eat. Noodles were all clumped together too. Not fresh. Unpleasant experience.
Can’t say enough about this place. Probably the best Thai I’ve ever had. The spice levels could not be more perfect. I’ll be back for sure
Very pleasant and attentive staff, the panang curry and fried shrimp.appetizer were tasty.
I work all over Florida, and This is by far the best Thai I’ve had in ST Petersburg, Ocala, Brevard. The Panang Curry and Pad Thai both with Chicken were spot on. So many other Thai around do not use fresh or sub par ingredients. Here it’s always fresh and perfectly seasoned. My 12 year old granddaughter eats gluten free and is able to have a good variety of choices. Not only is their food the best tasting, but their prices are low too. Much cheaper than all the other Thai restaurants in Florida. I won’t go anywhere else while in St Pete.
Bravo Bravo Siam Thai
Delicious. Everything
We love it here! Always so friendly and their food is great.

The food at this place was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Our waitress was so sweet and funny, very welcoming. Pad Thai was yummy and papaya salad was so fresh. Really everything we had was good & the service was great!
Our waitress was nice but the cashier at the counter was extremely rude. She seemed annoyed every time she was asked a question. Even her facial expression showed it. I mentioned to our waitress about it. Our waitress
was very nice and apologized for her coworker’s behavior. I’ve eaten at this place probably 10 times already. This is the first time I encountered a very rude cashier. Three in my group noticed her rudeness.
I was never a pad thai person but very familiar growing up eating it, had it in various numerous restaurants, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Cali, Vegas, this is by far the best pad thai, and I don't even like pad thai as much until now.
I stress this. If you want really good Thai, and are in St Pete, go here. Great prices, better food, outstanding service. There is a reason they have been around a long time and they live up to it every visit.
When I season, get the softshell crab in garlic sauce. It was a legit 12/10.
Food was delicious and the service excellent.
It's OK. Too salty for my taste & too expensive.

Just had food delivered and I must say it was delicious. We had Thai Fried rice with chicken and Dumplings. Best Thai food in town!
My to go place for some thai food. I've tried several places around but nothing compares! It's a yes from me!
This establishment has continually provided friendly service, delicious food and fair pricing since my first visit in the late 90s. No matter your taste for the day they provide it freshly prepared and served with a smile.
I highly recommend Siam Gardens. You won’t be disappointed.
We brought our catch in and they cooked the whole fish and we topped it with delicious garlic sauce. Quiet, reasonable, family owned.
If you go order the green curry it's always the best
This place has been here for years and it's still amazing. Went for lunch with my sister. Dining room was pretty full but still had a couple of tables available. The server was friendly and helpful. She had suggestions for our tastes. Food came out quickly, hot and yummy! 😋 We forgot to take pics, though. Oh and they will still cook your catch if you get lucky fishing. Very cool. We'll definitely be back!
Pad woonsen was fantastic! Service was great.
A local g e m that we have had since 1988. Wonderful food good service fair pricing
The duck was excellent, but the custard was absolutely not fresh and extremely soggy. Otherwise everything was great.
Food was great with plenty of vegetarian options, servers were nice, and place was clean. I’ll be back!
Food was pretty good, felt kinda skimpy on the amount though. Stir fry price isn’t bad but I’d almost wish they upped it from $12 to $15 and gave me more food. Honestly would’ve been 3 stars but the service is excellent so bonus for that, great wait staff.
Brought in our fresh catch and everything was soooooo good! Will be back
Hidden secret spot that has a great selection of food and the service is always quick and kind. Delicious.
The pepper steak and Pad Thai with chicken was great. Some of the best Pad Thai I have had in a very long time. The sauce was perfect on heat level and not over powering. I will go back again.

Always the best experience here. Service and food spectacular.
Very authentic.... And delicious. Outside is nice too : )
Staff was fun and friendly and helped with choices. The food was very fresh and flavorful. I want to go back and try more things
We ordered the Panang curry and dumplings. We rate the curry 9.5/10 and dumplings 9.2/10. Very delicious. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Our entree, appetizer, and 3 beer came out to be less than $40. Can’t wait to come back.
Super recomendado para todos !!!
Excellent food, different than many Thai restaurants
Everything very good
Lovely Thai restaurant, fresh ingredients and everyone loved their meal. The pad Thai was fantastic, woon sen was fresh and delish. Crab rangoons were good. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for fresh and delicious Thai place in the St. Pete. Will be back and recommend trying it!
Get their food all the time, some of the best curry chicken around. Reccomend this place all the time
Good food..nice people
The people here are so nice and kind! The food here is amazing and the service is incredible.
I have been here about 10 times so far. It was really good the first 3 times, but then they started giving me poor quality meat for my curry I was getting. I did say at the first few times that it was the best curry I'd ever had though. It's a shame that they didn't stay consistent though, the last few times even made me feel sick and indegested so I haven't been there since. The servers and employees were always very nice, so no complaints there. as far as atmosphere, maybe I just have bad luck, but I've always experienced some weird, nosey and unpleasant customers eating in this restaurant, so all of that made me not be a fan. 🤷 I'll be nice with my 4 star, but thats my honest review.
Easy going delicious fare with attentive friendly service at a modest price. We were tourists staying DTSP looking to escape the frivolous bougie downtown scene and found this gem serving very comforting Thai food would definitely come again and highly recommend.
The service was excellent, the food was super tasty. Will eat here again for sure!! There’s a cute little garden outside too!
This is one of our go-to places. We love the curries so much, and we rarely deviate. The staff is lovely. The location is great.
It's the best place I've dined in St Petersburg. We've gone back there 3 times in one month.
Great food! Excellent curry! Highly recommended!
Green curry pork is delicious 😋
3rd (fourth?) time is a charm. The Thai dining experience began at a conference on St Pete. After dinner at one Thai shop, we (myself and my Thai expert) were unimpressed. We repeated this experience at another Thai place (found out it was the same owners, so thanks Nori Thai for your uninspired menu subject to SE Asian neighborhood cultural appropriation). We tried a truck at the St Petersburg market. Cook was probably cool, but the Anglo dude running the window was an asshat who wouldn't know good Thai food if someone rightfully drowned his bad attitude in it. I digress. We've had quite a good adventure.
Finally, looking for some mango sticky rice we land at Siam Garden Thai. The owner picked up that my lovely companion knew the language and what Thai food should be. Apparently, so did they. The duck ka pao was fantastic, pad SE ew spot on and the papaya salad (som tam) some of the best we've had both at home and on the east coast. The mango sticky rice was a great finish. Oh, and the family that runs this place knows how to provide great service. Long story, short bottom line: eat here, be nice, and ask for a great Thai meal.
Best thai food in st Pete! I get something different every time and it’s all been tasty. The staff is so friendly and the food is always good. Highly recommend.
Awesome
The very best Thai restaurant in Saint Petersburg!!! So many delicious dishes here, something that everyone will love. Many birthdays, family gatherings and great meals had at this establishment since 1989. Beyond the delicious food, it is the waitresses who truly make Siam Garden the great experience that it is. Simply put, fantastic food, even better people.
Top picks: Massaman Curry, Tom kha kai, Pad Thai, Cashew Pork.
We always get our freshly caught fish cooked here. Incredible flavors!
very quick service and sweet staff 😊 good food as well 😊
Thisnis hands down the best Thai food arround. My pad Thai was far better than any other I've had and I've had them all in st pete.
Wife thought the fried rice was the best she's ever had also.
This is our new goto for thai. Needs an update on the inside but that's part of the charm I guess.
10/10
we went to try this place for a date night. our first time going here. my wife had the shrimp pad thai plate ($15). she liked it. i had the bai ka pao duck plate ($25) it was great and very filling. and we had an appetizer of pan fried dumplings ($6 or $8. i can't remember) to snack on before our plates arrived. everything was very good and delicious. good service as well. they kept us topped off with our water the whole time. all for 50 dollars. a decent price considering where it's located. we will be back to try other stuff out.
Great food, inexpensive, very friendly staff.
The best Thai in St. Pete!! Food is consistently awesome and staff are always friendly. 10/10
I have to write a review because I do not like crab rangoon. Never have. My boyfriend on the other hand loves them.. and I LOVED THESE. They were made so differently it was wonderful.
We do also always get Thai hot, and it wasn’t super spicy but the flavor was there, and it was impressive. Also, for the price it made it even better. Will be back!
We ordered takeout. Pad Thai, fresh rolls, Green curry, red curry, and custard. Just not good. Pad Thai was oily and had no true flavor. The vegetable in both curries were over cooked, and definitely not fresh. Either frozen or canned. The pineapple in the red curry was definitely out of a can. You could taste the syrup. The fresh rolls were skinny and had no flavor. The custard was gross.
The absolute best Thai food I've had in the United States. Does not get any better.
Great experience and food
Love this place, and so glad we decided to stay and eat our take out order instead of heading home.
Everything was great but the beef added to the Pad Tai was dry with no flavor... Disappointed in that
It's been tricky for us to find good Asian food here in St Petersburg. We had takeout. I ordered a beef curry. My sister ordered the duck dish. They were both good. The staff that tended us were super cordial. As expected it has a nice Asian theme. Will definitely go again.
old school Thai restaurant. good food. good service quiet atmosphere which is enjoyable these days. I've been eating there for 15 years now and it's steadily good. I enjoyed you. drunken noodle Thai basil.
Really good food and great staff
THE BEST
I always have to come with my mom for lunch when she's in town. Always see the same 2 ladies up front that are so sweet and kind and have great service.
You must try the Crab Rangoon it's like no other I've ever tasted - a special recipe they make in house where the filling is precooked and we have to get our own order every time.
We always get the lunch specials it's a great portion usually taking a small bit home, Massaman pork and Pra Ram chicken are the go-to thing for us.
Haven't been here in years (moved away). Ordered couple of different dishes for delivery. Food was fresh and hot and everything tasted better than I remembered. Son was in a food coma after :-D. Have to make this a regular spot again even if it's out of the way.
Great pad thai!
Phenomenal food and fantastic service. Knowledgeable staff and relaxed setting, highly recommend the crispy duck.
Phad Thai and curries are the best in town. While fried fish and mango rice for dessert. Friendly and efficient service. Owner Boon ran Ft.Lauderdale’s Mai Tai for years.
Tried 3 apps and none were amazing. Will be back to try more
Love this place.
Consistently great food, reasonably priced with nice customer service. Highly recommended.
Really great spot! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back
Very good food. I forgot what they called it on the menu but basically red curry with chicken and it was very good. Their crab Rangoon was a nice crispy and flaky crust with a fluffy cream filling. Friendly attentive service and great food.
favorite Thai locally (St Pete area)
Excellent staff. The food is the best Thai I have ever had. I have traveled extensively, and it truly is the best
I've been coming here for a very long time. Authentic & delicious 😋
Good food. Reasonable priced. The duck dishes are great.
Love the food and the staff is super nice!!
I’ve never really been into Thai Food, but Siam has changed that! I’ve had the Massaman curry a few times and is extremely good! Everyone is super nice. Once I accidentally ordered while they were closed and didn’t realize that the pickup time was the day after. I reached out via google’s chat option, thinking that I’d get a response once they opened, but they responded to me immediately and canceled my mistaken order. I highly recommend!
Best thai food I have ever had but I may be bias because it was also my first thai experience. Been going here for 20+ years and the food and service are always first class😊
BEST Pad THAI.... EVER. Not too spicy, they ask me what spice level, so I appreciate. Most AUTHENTIC Thai, in Pinellas!
I was in the area, so I swung by for a to go order on my way home to Tampa. In ordered pad thai with before and spring rolls.
The spring rolls were really good... No complaints there, but the pad Thai was just barely ok. The sauce was more tangier than I expected and flavorless. I had to add salt and other spices when i got home just to make myself eat it.
I ate it bc I paid for it, but based on the Pad Thai... I don't have to return.
Most satisfying Thai lunch my family and I have enjoyed in years. We had Panang and Green Curries along with Fresh and Spring Rolls and some Crab Rangoon. Staff also super kind and accommodating. Thank you Siam Thai
Helo Mr Bun!!!!!
The best food I had all vacation and the "bird on the roof show" was great.
This is a great place away from the downtown crowds.
Service was quick and the food was quite good.
It's small and quiet with outside seating. Lots of choices around this area, definitely worth a visit.
Great food and casual atmosphere!
Came here because of all the excellent reviews. Ordered the fresh rolls, chicken pad Thai and panang curry. Fresh rolls were WAY over-priced and didn’t even have fresh herbs in it. Just lettuce, noodles and a tiny shrimp. The amount of fish sauce
In the pad thai was overwhelming…that’s all I could taste. AND…the noodles were over cooked! Lastly the curry only had bell peppers, onions and chicken…wth?!?!? No mushrooms???bamboo??peas?? NADA!! Anyways, flavors are dull and we will not be coming back.
Excellent service food and overall amazing meals
Delicious green curry and chili chicken. The friendliest staff and the the most welcoming environment. Give them a try!
Absolutely amazing food and service. Our waitress was extremely friendly and offered amazing recommendations. Anyone who enjoys good Thai food, this is the place for you!
I have driven past Siam Garden over 100 times and never thought to stop. We have family in an AirBnB nearby and they raved about it, so we had to give it a try. We had fresh rolls, cucumber salad and laab appetizers; all were great. Main courses were Pra Ram, Bai Ka Pao, Woon Sen, and a 4th that I don't recall. Again, everything was fantastic! The service was very friendly and attentive, but not smothering. There is a decent beer and wine selection to top it all off. We will be back.
Not a fan, the worst Tom yum soup, tasted like a salt shaker. Not good quality food
Tonight was our 3rd time eating here. 2nd time dining in (we did take out once also)
We Would always drive past this little treasure, and we wish we'd stopped here sooner! Now it's quickly becoming our favorite spot.
Anything we've ordered here has not only been fresh and flavorful, but always quite consistent and well made.
The Tom Yum soup is delicious!
The spring rolls are perfection as well, and we absolutely love the Thai Tea! The Tea is not way too sweet like some others, though not too bitter. The Cashew Chicken is wonderful, as well. (I'd suggest also the Satay and Thai soup)
One thing I personally find to be absolutely amazing about this place is how charming and cozy the restaurant is, and how sweet and warm the staff seems to be; Our increadibly kind, wonderful waitress remembered us from previous visits (both dining in and what we picked up for take out), and even remembered what we had ordered those times! She even took time talking to our 7yr old each visit. Tonight especially she engaged in wonderful conversation with our 7yr old.
Not just her, but most everyone seemed happy to talk with our kiddo, and even delighted our 7yr old by recognizing and asking about her BTS toy and book she'd brought with her (Very exciting for our little one because she was thrilled to talk about it).
All in all, don't be like us and drive past this little gem. Stop and eat! It's so worth it!!
I was right next door at Lidas checking out plants with a friend and we wanted to get dinner. And I'm so glad we saw Siam was open! We shared spring rolls , Panang curry, Pad See Ew, and hot sake since it was so cold. Every dish was delicious and the sake hit the spot! The food was so good I didn't get a chance to take any pictures haha. Service was spot on and the ambience was perfect! I would definitely come back and I recommend this place.
Amazing. Everything!!! Curry, noodles, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Reasonably prices and so so good! Great service too!
Rich flavorfull comfort food s prepared fresh. Huge fan of the Bai ka pao and Garlic/ black pepper. Spring rolls were delightfully crispy with good crunchy shell.
Always have a delicious meal and feel satisfied and content when eating here. Excellent service and atmosphere.
Food was great ! We had a large party of 12, plus there was another large party so the food took just a little bit longer to come out but no complaints . It was worth the wait. Fave dish during This visit was the pad thai. Sprinkle a bit of lime and it really is one of the best noodle dishes here. We’ll be back here next time we’re in st pete !!
Always hot fast fantastic food and friendly service.
If Joon (June) is not the owner of this restaurant, her service is filled with ALL of the intangibles I have experienced at Oceanprime.
I prefer to visit an establishment more than once to ensure consistency. It was simply a heart warming experience.
BTW, that's not a ghost, the smoke was still coming off the food HOT! YES!!!
Delicious gluten free pad Thai and bai ka pao. The outstanding customer service inspired this review. Plenty of seating from 12:00-1:00 on a Saturday. Food is made to order and they are very happy to accommodate dietary restrictions.
I grew up in St. Pete but have lived in NYC the last 10 years and I have yet to find a Thai place that can compare to this one! It’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had and always a stop when I’m home in St. Pete!
If you are lookimg for spicy eyewatering thai dishes this is not the place. I requested medium spice for each dish and there was nothing less than mild. The yom ped duck salad my favorite dish was bland snd boring. Everythung was room temp. The charm of yom ped is the contrast of the hot crispy duck and the icy cold lettuce. It was not enjoyable. The service was lovely and the place is clean and cute. Order carefully is all I can say.
I've gone for many yrs. food good
First time eating there was scrumptious can't wait to eat there again.
Enjoyed our first Siam Garden take out meal and were absolutely impressed. Had the Drunken Noodles and Green Curry. This is Thai food at its best. We will be repeat customers. Highly recommend!
Mushy, soupy pad thai... place is not what it used to be.
Great food, different, great service
Great food!
Been going here for 20 plus years, the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I’m luckily enough to be able to fish a lot, I don’t like cooking fish so I bring my cleaned catch here. We have them prepare a soup, fingers, and main fish meal. We love the Spicy garlic the best. Staff is so amazing as well, can’t wait to go back! If you make it past the meal, order the mango and coconuts rice ♨️
First time at Siam Garden and a friend ordered Pra Ram with duck. not something I would order because I am not enamored with duck...some time tough sometimes aftertaste. But at Siam Garden St Petersburg's First Thai restaurant the duck is done right. We enjoyed the rest of our meal as well. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the outside seating and they allowed our dog to sit outside with us. Overall it was a excellent experience at Siam Garden.
Friendly service, and delicious food.
It's our go to place!!!
Amazing food! Ginger soy chicken was so tasty! Definitely will be back.
Fast, friendly service and delicious food!
One cup of sugar and 1TB of salt goes into the pad Thai which is dark brown. Panang also several TB sugar and no chili. I’ve had Thai food all over Thailand and the US and never have I had anything I would say is inedible until this place. This is Chinese food lover food. Cake has less sugar and probably closer to pad thai tasting than my food. Waitress waited 10 minutes to see how food was and by then we were ready to leave.
The pad Thai was delicious, one of the best I've ever had here
We went here cause it has 4.6 stars rating. We ordered over 10 dishes and only papaya salad and deep fried shrimps were good. The rest were ok.
Good Thai food and quaint place. The service was good and quick.
Traveling to Thailand more than once, this restaurant does not serve authenticity or quality for what they ask for in price. Portions to go were small, and indoor atmosphere is stuffy. Wouldn’t recommend. Many other Thai restaurants that are better
Great experience. Friendly staff. We brought in our own fish and they prepared it in the perfect way. Would definitely return.
Mm delicious! I got the ginger salmon with veggies and white rice on the side. Refreshing, tasty, with a mild spice. The fried egg rolls were delicious too!
There is no better Thai restaurant than the award winning Siam Garden! Have been coming here for decades, have tried others and none compare to the consistently fresh, flavorful, beautifully plated, and overall high quality food they serve. No matter if you eat there or have Uber deliver it, it is soooooo good every time!! #goto #1 #bestthai #noplacelikesiamgarden
Delicious Thai food. The spring rolls are so good, the Pra Ram and Pad Se Ew are fantastic. Friendly people. Will be back soon!!!
This used to my favourite place and I gave 5 stars before. Lately some things have changed…. like their peanut sauce. It used to be the best I’ve ever had. Now it’s probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. The coconut lemongrass soup tastes different too.
Siam Garden-Whatever you’re doing different STOP doing it and go back to what you used to do. Not sure if it’s a new chef or what but I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s disappointed with the food now. Please. You used to be my favorite restaurant. I miss the great food and peanut sauce you used to make.
