At White Elephant, we offer a fun modern exploration on the iconic, bold and mouth-watering flavors of Thailand. Carefully crafted into delicious, health focused plates and made with natural, high quality ingredients.
I recently visited the Anaheim Packing District with my family and stumbled upon White Elephant Thai, and I'm so glad we did! We were pretty hungry and decided to give it a try.
We started with their Basil Wings, and let me tell you—these were absolutely delicious. Hands down the best I've ever had! The wings were juicy, tender, and full of flavor—definitely a 10/10 in my book. Unlike many other places where wings are dry, these were perfectly cooked and had a great balance of flavor.
We also tried their Thai Tea and Green Tea, both of which were bomb. Refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect drink pairings for the meal.
Overall, I had an amazing experience, and next time I'm at the Anaheim Packing District, I'll definitely be coming back to White Elephant Thai!
Ordered Chicken coconut, spinach and thai noodles for the sides. Everything in that order is nothing close to what you will get from a Thai restaurant place. The food was tasteless, chicken coconut was oily, battered with no trace of being marinated. The noodles was cold and the spinach was did not pair well as it was served as a fresh salad with bad dressing and maybe some walnuts or pecan nuts. After the 18% tip, which the food and service did not deserve, it was way over priced for a total of $30.51 I paid for. I threw half of the food in the trash. Stay away not worth it.
One of many trips to my favorite food haul! I love the Anaheim Packing House! There’s so many options to choose from, and majority of the time, the food is great.
Parking: Their parking lot is small/med size. Parking will be most difficult on weekends, and very easy on weekdays. There are also some street parking, but beware of towing. I noticed they only offer valet parking on the weekends. I valet parked my vehicle once for about $7-10 (including tip; most likely increased). But I don’t even bother trying to find parking in their lot or valet anymore. I only park in the large structure on the corner of Anaheim Blvd & Broadway then walk over. It’s free 2 hour visitor parking and less stress.
Ambiance/Environment: White Elephant is located on the top level, to the left when you walk in. They have very small seating in front of their location.
Service: Our cashier was quick and efficient. Throughput was under 10 minutes. Both the cashier and the cook who handed us our order made small conversation with us, and they were funny.
Food: I ordered the Pad See Ew with steak. I thought the portion size is medium/large. It wasn’t too salty, filled with flavors, and definitely savory. They cut the steak into tiny bite sizes, and they also cut the noodles also. I’d prefer a bit more steak and broccoli, but overall this dish was a 4/5.
Pricing: Prices are $$$ more than average. Majority of their main dishes were $19+. Considering their location, I’m not surprised. But yes, they’re very pricey.
Now I have been to the packing district many times and never visit here. I’m glad I came this time. While I couldn’t believe I was about to pay $20 for some fried rice, I have to say, this was the best fried rice I have had in the OC. It was so delicious. I plan on going back for more. Maybe I will try something else but if you come here the fried rice is a must have.
Please go here when you get a chance. The place wasnt what we were expecting, which is always good for me, I thought it was going to taste a certain way but it didnt. The flavors are awesome and glad we waited for the parking to try this place out.
The steak that i got with rice, DUDE... they nailed it. Not sure what its called because my wife ordered it for me but dude it was good.
The workers are also awesome people, they treat you right.
THIS IS A MUST GO TO PLACE!!
Located in the Anaheim Packing House (top-level). This Thai spot is definitely one of our favorites. Their dishes are simple but very flavorful. Our favorites are the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and the Fried Chicken. PRO TIP: We have a peanut allergy in our family and they always take extra care to meet our needs. This can be challenging in Asian kitchens where peanut is widely used.
Seating can become competitive in the Packing House, but there are quite a few tables near this restaurant, and high top seating along the banister. The Packing House also offers general seating in and around the main building, not to mention at the adjacent Farmer’s Park.
Highly recommended!

No pictures or amount is shown in the menu board. The price is unknown until you order. Not sure if the male cashier knew English but he was very rude with his service, minimal talking. I bought the classic Thai dish and it came to 22 dollars. When I saw the amount of food, it seemed as if it was only worth 13-16 dollars. The food wasn’t as pleasing either.
Best Thai food with lots of flavor and heat,if you like it spicy.
The best, amazing food and always provide excellent service. Staff is always very friendly and polite!

Don't order online or bother calling they never answer. Placed order online and showed the order number and bank info and they had the nerve to question us why we don't have proof of the order when I did! Now I gotta go through the hassle of calling my bank to cancel. They never answer their phones and went cheap on their food portion. Also there is never a manager or person in charge these employees just stand around and ignore you and have attitude. Finding a better spot
Was at the Anaheim location and in trying to efficiently order online, I accidentally ordered from the downtown LA location. When I realized mistake and told the restaurant staff, they tried to call someone at the downtown location but couldn’t get through. Then they told me to call and have them cancel the order, so I did. When I got through, the downtown location said they couldn’t do anything and that Anaheim would be able to help me. It definitely seemed like neither location wanted to help me. So…just like that, spent a significant amount of money for no food. I can’t speak to how tasty things are, but I can say their customer service leaves much to be desired.

Tried the Lebanese restaurant and will give it 8/10. We had the Shawerma and salad. The shawerma was fabulous, but the salad not that much and not even authentic lebanses salad like Tabouleh or Fatouch. We also tried Georgia and it was good but not worth the hype.
While exploring the packing house for vegan options, I discovered this place and decided to try their Puffy Basil Tofu with jasmine rice on the side, which was absolutely delicious. The dish reminded me of tofu tater tots, and it came with a delightful side of spicy sauce. The service was excellent, and my food was quickly prepared. I definitely plan to return for another visit.
Flavourful and fresh. The Pad see ew with pork belly is rich and satisfying and we also enjoyed the Tom yom soup and papaya salad.

I was looking for vegan options at the packing house and found this place - ordered their Puffy Basil Tofu with a side of jasmine rice and it was so good. The dish is like tofu tater tots 🤩🔥❤️. Very spicy and tasty 😋🤤 food! And they give a huge quantity per meal!
I didn't expect the food to be this good here! One of the best Thai cuisine in Anaheim!
Good but too expensive for what you get. Needs more drink choices.

THIS IS A MUST GO TO PLACE!!
Food was not that great!! I had better.
Order the turmeric chicken for $18 just wasn’t worth it for the amount of food you get.
Order the garlic sesame salmon as well which was a bit under cooked and for $30 it really wasn’t worth getting.
Surprisingly the one of the only restaurants here that didn’t offer filtered water. The guy told me to drink water from the water fountain in front of bathrooms behind the restaurant.
Best to just stick w the original Thai food spots for less price.
Tumeric grilled chicken bowl was so dry and came in a tiny portion.
Food was salty and not worth the price
I ordered their shrimp Pad Thai with spicy level 4. At first I was disappointed with the spice level, until I wasn't. After maybe 3 mouth fulls, the heat comes. If you eat this with something else on the side, the level 4 spice is almost sweet but very very good in flavor. By itself, you better like spice a good amount to have it be an enjoyable experience. The shrimp one comes with about 5 shrimp which are nicely cooked and very tasty. I would buy again, but the location (super packed on Sunday midday) and the price will keep me from this place for a while. Although you do get like 1.5 servings, it did cost $21.55. I was also able to wait in line (no else in line), order other food and come back and I still didn't get help with 4 people readily seeing me so a little tick on the service but when I asked for fried onion, they were very accommodating and asked if I wanted more napkins/peanuts too. Would try out other restaurants in the packing district but I would come back here.
Some of the best Thai food we have ever had! I had the yellow curry with chicken and rice, it was so good! Full of flavor, good level of spice and decent amount of chicken. My husband had the basil fried rice with pork belly and loved it. He did wish he got it a bit spicier but enjoyed it. We will def be back next time we are in town.
Terrible service more than anything.
I didn’t want to eat the food cuz it tasted just like bad fast food and wanted something different from the place so I went up and asked if there’s anything else but the Asian girls that works there were rolling their eyes at me and and laughing at my request in my face.
I would have tried something else but the service was disgusting and I never ever wanna go back.
Before you roll your eyes you need to improve your service.
I honestly doubt this place can last long with the service of bac
Ordered delivery. Didn’t send all the items and just crossed out the missing items on the receipt without a refund. No phone calls. No refund. What a shady way to do business.
Skip
Wait was 30 minutes for the food and there didn't seem to be a system of any sort. I think there were also online orders being placed as well so the wait can be especially deceiving on the weekends. The "medium" pad Thai I got was more like 7/10 spicy so beware. It tasted fine as I tried to get past the scorching heat, both temperature and spiciness but for $20? Hard pass.
If you want good Thai food I'd recommend just going to a proper restaurant than a chaotic togo packing house.
Food: 5/10
Service: 3/10
Atmosphere: 4/10
Value: 3/10
Not impressed with the pad thai - lots of sauce but lack of flavor. It didn’t do it for me and I LOVE pad thai.
Excellent, healthy food! The packing district is a bit crowded for my taste, but the food here is great!
Enjoyed coming to the Anaheim Packing District with my girlfriend. Nice atmosphere for a Tuesday lunch and a variety of restaurants to select from. We decided to try the White Elephant, a delicious Thai restaurant with protein options on the entrees. Ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and Pad See Ew with tofu - nice flavor & delicious. The chef really cares about the quality of the food and flavors. Also, tried the sweet cream green tea which was very tasty. I think due to covid, this restaurant packs all the dishes to go, however, you can dine in and eat in the packing house. Looking forward coming back and trying new dishes. Staff friendly and easy parking. Really enjoy the open atmosphere at the Anaheim Packing District. Definitely kid friendly.
I only have great things to say about this Thai restaurant! It has phenomenal Pad Thai with customizable heat levels which is awesome for my boyfriend and I who like different spice levels. The orange chicken is the best we have had and the egg rolls were really good.
The service is always fast and incredibly friendly!!
This is our first stop every time we land from the airport!
Phenomenal service and 5 Star food
Coconut Chicken is accompanied by a secret sauce that is a game changer.
Great job gents
See you soon
Food court atmosphere, self-service, nothing special. Phad Thai and fried rice were both too sweet for my taste.
We love this place! The food and service are always fantastic. My partner loves the pad see ew with pork belly, and the yellow curry is among the best I’ve had. Worth a drive, and a must if you’re in the area!
Fantastic take away
Food was amazing! Portions were very large.
Food was wonderful and staff was super nice!
We got the crying tiger streak with arugula and the coconut fried chicken with steamed veggies. The sauces were delicious! Would recommend! 😋
Decent pad thai, amazing salmon and arugula bae salad! Great easy healthy meal at the Packing House
I went to this restaurant yesterday and had the Pad See - it was effing amazing! The food is so fresh and made right in front of you
Tastes fine, but level 3 has zero spice. So gonna just get level 5 next time, pretty pricey but you are at packing house so kind of expected.
I've been to the Anaheim Packing House countless times in the last few years, but this week was my first time trying White Elephant! I wish I had tried it sooner. The pad thai was such a classic staple, but their quality surpassed that of any other Thai places I've tried out recently. The customer service was great as well, super accommodating and very friendly. Thank you so much!
My whole experience here was not great. The worker didn’t want to cook what I ordered because they were closing in 20 minutes. He was doing me a big favor. I paid 33 bucks for an extremely tough steak that I ended up giving up on, a few pieces of lettuce drenched in dressing, and a small ice cream scoop of rice. The steak had no seasoning or flavor. What I got for 33 bucks was a total joke, and the workers were rude.
Cream cheese wontons burnt
Crab noodles blanketed with cilantro and green onion
i highly recommend the green tea😋
Solid food and very unassuming
Had the pad see ew. I haven’t had Thai food in a long time, but it was really good. Great flavor and friendly staff.
We had a wonderful experience. Ty gave us recommendations and was so kind. Great customer service and great quality food! We will be back.
Great pad thai! Big portion size, too. Coconut fried chicken was nice but salad (power greens) was excellent!
Good food and good drinks!
This place was awsome!! Great food and delicious tea, i love the pad se ew its very very yummy
Expensive for what you get. Food was just okay. Make you pay for water when asked for a water cup.
Hard to say which is better - welcoming hosts or the great food.
Had a beautiful meal and have fallen in love with a new place. What a great first impression being introduced to the Packing House and District in Anaheim. Can't say enough good things. My heart is full and so is my belly. ❤️
Every Sunday we are here. The fried rice with shrimp is yummy . Wish they changed the brand of soy sauce they use tho 😪. The yellow curry is very flavorful.
Very friendly staff and atmosphere. The food all looks very delicious! The crunchy kale was a big recommendation.
We came to the packing house not knowing what to get and we came across White Elephant and the worker started talking to us about their specials and their popular items. We ended up ordering food but the best part were the workers! They were so sweet and fun! We’re def going back!
They were super sweet and helped us out genuinely. I’ve came before and this place never fails to disappoint
AMAZING FOOD!
Super friendly staff!
Good food and nice staff!
Seems like they are not serving authentic pad see ew here. Food was very bland but just super spicy. Never had spicy pad see ew before.
Padseeew a little spicy with pork belly. Hands down the best I've ever had. White elephant probably has the best food in the whole packing house.
Walked by this place a dozen times but always passed on it since the menu doesn't have any vegan options. Well I asked the sweet gal taking orders today if they could make some items vegan and they totally can.. score! We had the Pad Thai w/no egg or fish sauce and added fried tofu with level 1 spice.. it was one of the better vegan Pad Thai's I've had in a while. We also adjusted our Basil Tofu Puff dish to exclude the cottage cheese in our salad. We weren't aware that fish sauce accompanied the tofu but they made sure to me know that they are giving me a sweet and sour sauce in lieu of the fish sauce. That's very thoughtful of them! Happy to know there's a local Thai spot with vegan options
Delicious food had orange chicken best I taste nice and crispy would definitely come back when I'm back in Anaheim
Nothing but excellent, well-prepared, fresh Thai food. Takes a few minutes but you'll watch the prepare it right before your eyes. Well worth the Lyft ride over to find this gem in the Packing District.
It was so-so. I asked for 3 out of 5 spicy food and got a 1, the only good thing I got from here that I would like to buy again is the Thai tea.
I ended up eating at the fish shack inside this nice restaurant with a live band playing some Blues music and the food was delicious and on the second floor.
Pad see eww was fantastic!
The most delicious Thai food in San Diego. This is how it is when the owner is in place!
Great delicious food !
Great service
The yellow curry!!! 🙌
Tom yum soup was incredible. I ordered with tofu and with a spice level of three (out of five). It was delicious 🤤
Very good Pad Thai!
Wow, the food here is fantastic - we couldn't recommend it enough! We just moved to Huntington Beach from the Seattle area and have been looking for local authentic Thai food without any success. 100% worth the 30 minutes drive for us. It's soooooo good!! I wish we would of ordered more.
Their drunken noodles are so good!
Menu is limited. Taste is good though.
Visited Anaheim for 4 days and ate here twice because it was so good!
The staff was very friendly! The food was yummy but not what I was expecting and I felt pretty let down by that. But first of all let me say it took FOREVER to get my food. And there wasn’t even a line to order. My husband ordered ramen next door, got it, ate it, and then went and got us boba all in the time it took for them to get me my food.
I ordered the coconut milk chicken and somehow missed the part where you won’t taste the coconut milk because it’s inside the batter 🤦♀️ so I was really looking forward to a saucy creamy coconut Thai dish and got normal fried chicken with rice and salad. I should have looked at pictures on Yelp or something (that I saw, there were no photos of the dish at the restaurant). But ultimately it seemed like false advertising to me. It should just be called fried chicken because that’s what it was.
It seems there is a flaw in the wording on the menu. The menu says “chicken thigh, coconut milk and Thai herbs” but should say “chicken thigh fried in a coconut milk batter” or something more clear. Just felt so disappointed. Like when you’re really expecting and anticipating one thing and get something entirely different.
My son and I loved our meals. The food was made fresh and came out looking and smelling great. The greens were very fresh and complemented the proteins well. Everyone in our group enjoyed the experience at the Packing District. I would second many other reviews that recommend valet parking. M
Great restaurant
I had the coconut fried chicken and thai ice tea it tasted great. The chefs after a morning of prep work still had immaculate aprons so they take hygiene pretty important.
I came here during the week when it was not busy and the food was A1! We got the pad see ew, yellow curry, and fried rice. All had great flavor. The portions were great for sharing or for leftovers. The Thai tea was also tasty. Staff was friendly and service was quick. This may be my new go-to thai spot!
I will never go to another Thai place after eating here. This place is beyond delicious and great customer service.
Great food for average prices!
Had their new item, basil chicken wings. Yum-ditty-yum!! Can’t wait to have them again!
Tasty food and good portions, with a protein, side and salad included in each
Amazing Fried Rice
Located inside Anaheim Packing District so it’s gonna be pricey and it’s moreso this is based on one dish: Crying Tiger steak
$24 paid with tips, it left my taste buds and wallet crying for real.. worth $8 portions wise elsewhere I could’ve gotten.. and larger sized meal.
Rice tasted like a-day old hard rice - yuck!
Too much spice smoke sauce on the steak which was too tough need knife to cut it in 1/2 inches to eat. Not chewable in slices they had cut.. soooo not a real “steak”
I honestly love this place. The first time I came here I tried there pork belly and it was one of the most flavorful and tasty meals I have eve had. It melted in your mouth and the flavor sat on your tongue. Today I got their AMAZING matcha green tea. I am super picky about my matcha and this place loved up to the hype! I also got their sticky rice and it is so fun and tasty!! Give this place a shot of your looking for something new and tasty! My friend got the Thai tea and she loved it!
I was so happy to see a Thai place open in the Packing House, their service is great and the food is delicious! I love the pad Thai
I must say... this restaurant's chef understands FLAVOR. Every ingredient is well thought out, and out of all the restaurants in the complex, this is by FAR the BEST one out of the bunch. I had the coconut chicken, steak, salmon, and pork belly so far, and none have failed to impress. Oh and don't get me started with their Thai tea and green tea drinks. Hands down the BEST take on Thai tea and green tea I've ever had. If you're spending your money elsewhere, you're wasting your hard earned money.
