We offer Traditional Thai food in downtown Mesa, Arizona. Enjoy a relaxing upscale environment while you are served delicious food by a fun & friendly staff!
12/9/23: highly recommend Nunthaporn's. Why not 5-stars? They did not have sticky rice or Thai custard for dessert (yes, we went to another Thai place for this) :-) .
Four of us stopped in Saturday at 4:30. Cute little place that we discovered is bigger than what we saw - as we walked out after dinner down the street, we saw they had a whole second dining room.
They have a small parking lot immediately behind their place, but there is also parking out front (if you want to brave Main Street), and also plenty of free city parking lots southwest of their building.
The young gal who took our order was very nice, and repeated our orders as we gave them to her and even did so again after we all had ordered. The food did not come out quickly, so cool your jets if you're in a hurry, but it also did not take overly long to come out - it all came out hot and well presented. The gal who delivered it was different and she did not seem all that happy to be working.
We did all enjoy our food although we were all surprised at lack of spiciness to the dishes. Point of note, yes, we did all say mild, but at other Thai places mild still is pretty darn spicy (for us). Nunthaporn's was lacking in that kick so when we return, we will definitely go for more spice. Maybe when we return, they will actually have dessert.
First time here and they CRUSHED IT! We got the green chicken curry and chicken pad Thai on medium heat and it was so good! The green curry had eggplant and green beans and basil and just perfection with some nice rice to go with it. The pad Thai? Don’t know how to give a good description other than it might be my favorite ever. Can’t wait to come back and our server was genuinely the nicest lady and so kind while managing a very busy room!
Nunthaporn’s has divine thai food right on Main Street in downtown Mesa. You can’t beat the Red Curry or the Evil Jungle Princess. And they’re very good about getting you in quickly even when they’re busy. We’ve been enjoying this delicious spot for years, and we still love it - every time! The staff is efficient and nice, and when you’re done eating, you can enjoy wandering around downtown for a bit.
This place offers the most fresh and best tasting Thai food in Mesa.
The staff can be a little cantankerous when they are super busy. Overall they are friendly enough, but they tend to be under staffed on weekends.
The red curry and pineapple curry are amazingly delicious. The papaya salad is the freshest I have ever had in the United States, and I always order it. Amazing flavor and incredibly delicious, freshly cut (not pre-prepared and sitting on the shelf).
The kids loved the wonton soup.
They were incredibly busy on the night we came with a large party. They seemed angry that we came. The owner started getting terse with my wife, enough to leave, but we had a tight schedule and really wanted to eat there. The owner called himself down and became friendly and polite again for most of the time we were there. They were extremely understaffed, with only three servers. We didn’t get water for long while, probably because they were out of dishes and hadn’t caught up with the crowd yet. Despite these challenges, the food was incredible.
My in laws all thought the process were steep, but they seemed fine to me given the high quality food.
Delicious! Just avoid crowded weekends.
We tried to come eat there on a Friday night at 7:45pm. We went inside and saw lots of people seated and eating. We stood, waiting to be seated, when one of the workers came up to us and said rudely, “We’re closed!” So, don’t believe what their posted hours say, which said they were open until 9pm that day. We won’t ever go back here again.
Best Thai food. Authentic as you can get. Tried many of their dishes and all have been delicious. Their spicy level is on point as well. We have gone back several times. Their service is great as well. This place is a must!
I had a group of 6 so I called ahead to see if they could accommodate, the person in the phone informed me we needed be there 15 minutes prior to the agreed upon time, we g there and they forgot and had to wait for tables to open. When one Opened, we were just told to sit. 20mins yes went by and no drink order nor server helped us. Once I asked for the manager the server shook her head like she was disappointed she had to serve us. So we left. I’m sorry but if you want people to eat there maybe you should provide your guests the chance to actually eat.
This place is going downhill rapidly. Tried to order by phone the last two times we wanted their food but could not get anyone to answer the phone. So I went to the restaurant and they told me they could not get me an order for 45 minutes.
Their food is usually good but, lacking a decent atmosphere, I do not like to sit in the restaurant.
I have found another much more appealing and customer-friendly Thai restaurant in the vicinity.
Pretty good food, but I'm not an expert on Thai
The worst part was trying to park if you are heading west

The Drunken Noodles were amazing.

Great little thai restaurant. My wife has celiac and eats here all the time. We love this place and the owners are great.
Delicious food. Very accommodating to gluten-free needs.

The best Thai food in Mesa!! Very fresh.
Disappointed in the taste. Papaya salad and Tom Ka. Not coming here again!!
Wait staff horrible
No communication.Slammed down the food and left only to return with the check.Food was even worse . What's up with the 2% convenience tax.

I did an online order. Showed up and staff said they called to tell me they were out of pad thai. No call was received. They had my correct number.
Above and beyond your average Thai food.
Jungle curry is so interesting. Evil jungle princess is fantastic as well!
Thanks.
This is the only larb I like. And I’ve tried a lot. Incredible chopped chicken with lime seasoning and cabbage leaves to scoop. No weird toasted rice textures like other larb I’ve tried. Also, yellow curry is amazeballs
Some favorites are the evil jungle princess and basil fried rice
Literally THE BEST Thai I've had!!!!
Absolutely delicious! The green curry was creamy and perfectly spiced. Very clean and friendly as well! ❤️ If I lived closer, I would come all the time!
Best Thai food. Authentic as you can get. Tried many of their dishes and all have been delicious. Their spicy level is on point as well. We have gone back several times. Their service is great as well. This place is a must!
"The food is truly authentic, reminiscent of the meals I enjoyed in Thailand during my rigorous Muay Thai training in preparation for an exclusive, invite-only Kumite. I faced off against the formidable 'Kung Fu Panda' in a grueling 33-round match on pavement. Although the match took a dramatic turn when I lost an arm due to an illegal bite, I ultimately emerged victorious after the deduction of points. Writing this review took me some time, as I now have only one arm. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic culinary experience."
Tried the Green Curry and it was excellent.. also enjoyed the good service and atmosphere..
Tried the pad Thai and Thai fried rice and both dishes were excellent! We will be back!
Best Thai food in town. Every dish seems so home cooked.
Best Thai restaurant around by far!
This place makes me sad. It would be great to have a Thai restaurant that uses authentic ingredients downtown, which they do, but they just don't seem to care. Restaurants in Thailand will ask you how your food was and they do want to hear it was good.
I ordered Tom kha gai and massaman curry. The Tom kha gai was good, used the right ingredients (many places leave out galingale which is in the name of the soup) and they did use it. It's an easy dish to do right, it's just the ingredients that can be hard to source. I wanted sticky rice and steamed rice and the waiter said no to the sticky rice. I know it's not traditional to have with a curry, but I missed it and do enjoy it that way. It was a very strange interaction, but I let it go.
My massaman curry was coconut milk and after taking one bite and confirming that, it was untouched. I'm not sure if the curry isn't made to order or why, it wasn't curry at all. The potatoes were nearly raw. Massaman is a favorite dish of many Thai chefs that gets overlooked in some US Thai places and they should have opted to not serve this. I ended up just eating the plain rice.
The waiter just cleared it and dropped the check.
I just don't think their heart is in this place anymore. This was my first and last visit and friends had really hyped this place despite me saying having lived in Thailand. It's frustrating to see a place run by Thais in such a good location decide to take so little care with their food and service.
My wife and I came in for the first time tonight and it was AMAZING. We will definitely be back again. The food was fantastic as well as the service. Very small and intimate setting. Very quite if you wanted to bring a date or date night with your wife or husband. Two of us ate and the tip we paid $62.
My go-to Thai place. Great food, quick service, and never a wait.
Great food and service. I love the Pineapple and Massaman Curry dishes. I also love how private the restaurant feels. The perfect place for a meal without a ton of televisions and bar patrons.
Finally found something on the menu I didn't like- Massaman Curry it was all potatoes and peanuts, but still 5 stars because I've been probably 30 times and have enjoyed everything else I've gotten there. The Green Curry and Pad Thai are bomb.
We found this restaurant by chance when I looked for Thai food driving down the highway (as a passenger.) We didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. It’s located in a good area with food and service that were both outstanding. I’m so glad we happened upon this place!
Fantastic meal! Traveling through and wanted good Thai food that's vegetarian friendly. This place totally did that and more! My eggplant basil stir-fry was outstanding and my partner's drunken noodles were delicious too! Definitely recommend.
This place has great food and has been around for a long time
I feel this is the best Thai in the valley. The owner is the best.
It is such a wonderful place to eat. Great Food, Great Service!! We will be coming again soon. Love this place! Highly Recommended!
I was at a conference near by and needed some food. Called in an order of curry without looking at the menu. Person answering the phone was really nice about checking if the curry was GF. They packed up a generous to-go portion and it was delicious.
I've only been here once quite a while ago and we were the only people in the whole place and it took ages to get served and the food was hands down the worst Thai food I have had.
It should close.
Excellent Thai food!
My favorite Thai restaurant in all of Arizona! Also the service is amazing. Best pad Thai I’ve ever had just make sure to do no spice (unless you like really spicy!)
Great Thai food with good vegan options. I got the vegan pad Thai and the owner said I was the first customer they were trying out a new sauce with and to let them know how I felt, and I thought it was really good! I think I’d ask for it a little spicier next time but that’s just me. They were really nice and they are a great part of downtown Mesa.
Friend of mine went and picked up a bunch of food here, when he brought it back it was extremely oily and soggy to the point where we couldn’t eat it. Not a great experience when you’ve been up and about all day without eating🙃
Then he called in, let them know, they said they’d refund him, however when he went back in they turned around and refused to do so.
Got some tofu for some friends. It’s soaked as you can see and when I called in they were super rude and told me to come back in. I didn’t want to drive all the way back up there because of their mistake. I threw it away as you can see. They told to come in the next day to get a refund and that I needed to have my card on me. So I drove up the next day and they lied and didn’t give me a refund.
My boyfriend and I went here last night for fried tofu. We LOVE fried tofu, figured we would try this place out as we are new to the area. The food was horrendous. I never leave a bad review but wow, the tofu was not cooked, the To-Go box was soaked in oil, and the customer service was not up to par for the mistakes made here. It was not edible, and yet the owner refused to refund us and refused to accommodate us in any way. We will not be returning.
Great food, great service! Try the Curry beef Panang. Make sure to get it spicy, you won't be disappointed!
Best Thai in the valley… From the Pad Thai, to the Pineapple Fried Rice, and every thing else on the menu, it always hits. I always enjoy it with a cold glass of Singha. Great friendly service with a great environment, Nunthaporn will be a spot I frequent no doubt.
Took my sister here for her birthday 12/29/23 Around 6:30pm and we been here before many many times…but today we got there we see it’s busy so we wait about 10 minutes which it’s cool its busy. A couple walks in (YT) they wait with us for like 5 mins THEN THE Waitress GOES RIGHT TO THEM and asked how many… WAIT WHAT!!! The couple advise them we were here first… she tell us to sit at table with one sit we ask for a new table she says it busy … my sister says where was she going to have the couple behind us sit. she takes them to be seated… we know it was busy we are fine with waiting but to walk passed us and try and seat them first is crazy to me… we were seated but we felt some type of way after that. So we left! TO WALK PASSED US IT WILD! Never again
The massaman curry had good flavor. But value for money is lacking. My curry was very thin with little chicken and potatoes. I feel like I have to eat a second lunch after eating there.
The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. I had the beef mushroom dish. There were ample amounts of mushrooms!!!
Great selection of dishes!
Love their Thai coffee!!

Excellent food and service. The Pad Thai was excellent. The flavors were well balanced and the spice level was perfect. Service was fast and friendly. Overall a great place to eat.
I love the Evil Jungle Princess dish. It never disappoints. My wife loves the Yellow Curry. We stopped in for a quick bite the other night and the service was fast and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed.
First time here and they CRUSHED IT! We got the green chicken curry and chicken pad Thai on medium heat and it was so good! Excellent food, excellent service!
We ordered the cheaper bottle of sauvignon blanc because they were out of the more expensive one. Both were from California...no Marlborough. It was sooo bad...we had to send it back. Had to settle for a Kendall-Jackson chardonnay which was also horrible, but not as horrible, I suppose. They really need a wine consultant. Food was ok. I didn't finish my dinner so that I could get some mango rice for dessert, but they had run out by the time I ordered. It's a noisy place. Good news is that they don't add to the noise by playing music. Don't think we'd come back. Do restaurants with liquor licenses ever let you bring your own alcohol and charge you a corkage fee?
So delicious! The curry noodle soup is stellar. We come here every time we're in Mesa! 🖤
Delicious food with a home-made goodness. Wonderful welcoming service.
Perfect if you are attending a Mesa Center for the Arts event. Park on Main Street near the restaurant, have dinner and walk to the event.
Great place to eat
Dont go here half hour before they close, pushy to get out.
The evil jungle princess is literally my favorite dish on the planet. If I were on death row, this would be my last meal. It's to die for.
Great service and even better food.
Food is always fantastic and service is great. We will return soon.
Best Thai food in the valley
The owner is rude and treated us disrespectfully. I will never eat here again. Food is OK and the rest of the staff seem decent. But the rude owner killed it.
I lived in Thailand for a couple years. This place serves delicious Thai food!
Just finished eating here, I got the wonton soup and my mom got the coconut soup. They were phenomenal and very filling for getting the small size bowl. The servers and host were really kind and the atmosphere was overall really pleasant! Definitely coming again
It’s unfortunate I have to give this restaurant one star. My wife and I frequently went to this restaurant because we liked the atmosphere and food. But, I won’t be going back there anymore. Today, I met a friend there for lunch and the host who greeted us as we walked in was impatient and rude. He showed us to a booth, and gave us menu’s to look over. He came back shortly after we sat down and asked if we were ready to order, we indicated we needed more time because the menu is quite long. Impatiently, he left only to return a couple minutes later. He asked us again if we were ready to order, and again we said we needed more time to look over the menu. Well at that point, he started yelling at us that we needed to hurry up, and he did this in the presence of all the other customers. My friend and I looked at each other in disbelief and then we decided to leave. As we were leaving the restaurant, the host continued berating us and yelling “good luck” among other things as we walked out. I’m not sure if this is standard practice to treat Nunthaporn customers this way, but I’m surprised they’ve been in business this long if that’s the case. So, in short, I don’t recommend this place to eat, unless your really quick to order.
The waiter was really friendly and helpful
If you are looking for place where the locals eat this is it. Great food, great service and good people. If you get a chance talk to owner he is a great guy.
Nunthaporn's Thai Cuisine is the best Thai food around! Very authentic food! It's always fresh, cooked to order, and consistent. We eat here about once a month and have never had a bad experience!
Love this place! Food is excellent and the staff is very nice and the place is clean!
Phenomenal meals and atmosphere!
I was excited to try a new Thai food place near me… got the Pad Thai, since it’s one of my favorite dishes. Honestly the worst I’d ever had! Tasted like wet dog. And on top of that, I found a long black hair in it. (I didn’t show my wife cause she would have lost her mind.) Loads of great reviews for this place, must be a lot of people that like the taste of wet dog. 😒
Both the food and the service were great and you can get almost anything on the menu vegan if you want it.
I had the Green Curry and my wife had the Phai tie
The food was bland. Worst Thai restaurant I’ve been to by far.
I love this place. Feels so authentic, the food, the service, the flavors. Great food!!! Highly recommend
One of my favorite lunch spots. Easy to get in and out, amazing curries, and a wonderfully light and mellow pandan tea. Prices are awesome and portions are perfect. Their Panang curry is the best in the Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler area.
utterly americanized, not much of a thai place. it was spicy but that's about it
Very unsatisfying Thai food. I do not know why this place has so many stars. They are overpriced, give small servings and food just has no flavor.... do not recommend, especially if you love Thai food.
Explored messa tonight. Good Thai food but best customers service here
We've been searching for a new Thai place since our other favorite Thai place closed. So far this is the top contender. The pineapple fried rice was very good, I prefer hotter but I'm crazy. My wife had the curry and loved it.
BEYOND RUDE…We were talking and he demanded that we look at the menu. I actually really wanted to order. TOTALLY RACIST BEWARE!!! They were not nice to us at all so we left without eating.
Delicious green curry and EXCELLENT tofu! Great prices too. Owner was very welcoming and gracious.
The server was really helpful with me ordering, and the food was fantastic. It came looking like it wasn't sauced at all, but when I had my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was complex and satisfying while being very light on my stomach. This seems to be their M.O. to serve light flavorful food, all of which is easily customizable. I highly recommend them!
WORST dine-in experience I have ever had...EVER! We arrived an hour before closing and before even being sat at our table the waiter informed us we would need to hurry because the kitchen closed in 30 minutes. That was fine with us, it doesn't take 30 minutes to peruse a menu. Once we sat, the waiter rushed us to get our order in. My partner has celiac, so Thai is usually pretty safe. The menu nicely states that if you would like GF, to specify and they will cook with fish sauce instead of soy. She ordered a noodle curry soup and specified GF. We then ordered hot tea, and were informed they were "out" of tea. (The waiter then brought over a pot of hot tea to the table next to us...?)
When the food arrived, her soup was served with egg noodles---definitely not gluten free. Both my partner and I have done our fair share of working in the service industry, and we are not ones to complain or make a fuss about orders, but when you have an autoimmune disease, you kinda have to make sure your food is safe for you to eat. We called the waiter over and explained that egg noodles are not GF and that there had been a mistake, she could not eat her meal. The waiter went to the back to ask the cook if the noodles were GF, and he returned saying "yes, we checked, they are gf." (Again, not ones to make a scene, but we were a bit skeptical as she has been gf since her diagnosis 15 years ago and not once has she ever found gf egg noodles). So, upon hearing this, we apologized for the inconvenience, and asked to see the ingredients list on the egg noodle packaging to be sure.
Next the cook came out from the back and told us that the noodles were GF. Once again, we asked to see the packaging and explained that this meal would make her terribly ill if she ate it and it was not actually GF. The cook then grabbed her plate, and said "Fine, then this dish cannot be made gluten free. The kitchen is CLOSED!" (At this time, it was 8:25pm, so technically the kitchen was open for another 5 minutes but that's not really the point here).
In the end, I got a to-go box and we paid for just the one meal. I ate it for lunch the next day and it was decent, nothing special but tasty for sure.
Moral of the story, the staff lied to us, then gaslighted us by telling us we were wrong, and then refused to correct it after they had made a mistake (accidentally using egg noodles instead of rice noodles when the dish had been requested GF). If you are not concerned with allergies and don't mind being rushed, I'm sure this place is fine. But, if you have any allergy concerns I would steer you far away from here. We will certainly not be back.
The yellow curry was on point!!!
Excellent
Just across the street from Mesa Art Center. It's a nice place to meet with friends so we go there often. Food is always EXCELLENT and the service is good. It is a small restaurant but they have take out. If you live or work downtown that might be what you want.
Wonderful food with a delicious aroma. Staff is very friendly and catering. Prices are very reasonable, too! Great stuff, guys! Keep it up!
I believe this restaurant serves some of the best Thai food in The Valley! There is not a lot of ambience but the food more than makes up for it.
I wish I could vote 0 star, this is the worst Thai restaurant I ever had. The place was nice and clean but the food was terrible. The service was bad also like the restaurant didnt pay enough for the servers to serve right to the customers. We ordered so many food to try, but the only one that we could tell that is good was fry tofu. I never have a tomyum soup was as bad as this place. Overall, all the food we tried were bad and would never come back to this place.
Authentic Thai on Main Street near the Arts Center. Red curry with pineapple is my favorite.
Very authentic Thai, if you want it traditional hot, just ask for a side of peppers and you will feel like you left the country
I've been coming to Numthaporn's for years now and their food is excellent. My favorite is the yellow curry.
I had the yellow curry with chicken and white rice for lunch. It was yummy. The spouse had the L9 lunch. Looked good had steamed veggies, a peanut type sauce with beef and brown rice.

Delicious! Just avoid crowded weekends.
Very tasty food and very nice staff 😋
Been going to this place since it opened and always tried to supportmy the little Mesa community. It was a place i told everyone to visit because it was amazing food and service. But in the last few year's it has seen it decline. Tried to give it one more chance, but Today's Service was absolutely terrible, menu has been so limited for lunch an food didn't taste like it has in the past for sure. I'm looking for a new Thai food place if anyone has suggestions. Thx!
Very friendly stafg, ordered pick up and was ready fast. Food has lasted multiple meals for 3 people, even 3 days later!
Food was good, but customer service …. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Rude waiter. Rude owner. They gave us a plate we did not order, their mistake and they proceeded to charge us for it multiple times. I’ll never go back.
Been eating here for years. Great food, friendly staff. It could use an update but I'm very glad they are a part of down town mesa.
EXCELLENT VEGAN RESTAURANT!!
The Eggplant, Veggies & Rice were delicious & JULIO was a TERRIFIC server! We shall return!!!
I always go for my fave which is the spicy basil. I should probably step out of the norm and try more dishes.
I have been enjoying Thai food here for years! Very friendly family that runs this restaurant.
When they say they close at 3pm for lunch they really mean 2:20pm.
Lady at the front said last seat is at 2:30, looked at my watch and said "well it's 2:20" she walked off and got someone else to tell us it's closed.
People were seated without food so kitchen must of been open still.
So good. Every dish is amazing!
Fantastic Thai place in downtown Mesa downtown Mesa. For me it is the best Thai food that I have found in Phoenix.
It is authentic as it is staffed by many expat Thai and they are really deserving of your business.
good service, delicious food, though a bit pricy
I wish I could give this zero stars. The food was bland and when this was brought to the attention of the server he said that he could bring me soy sauce, but there was nothing else that he could do. I have never had bland noodles before in a Thai restaurant. This food was horrible. I sent it back. The manager (an older gentleman) starting staring me down and said that by sending the food back I was being extremely rude to him and he didn’t want to see me in here again.
There is an old Asian man who was VERY VERY disrespectful and rude to my friend and I as we were ordering food to go. He was getting an attitude and got someone else to help us telling them “I’m not dealing with them.” The other employee was nice and said that he heard the older man from the back and respectfully took out order.
Probably the best Thai Restaurant in all of Phoenix. Our server Moo was so helpful in offering suggestions, recommendations and explaining the various food offerings. The food tastes so good and the portions are decent. Interior atmosphere is nice and clean. It's a bit of a drive to downtown Phoenix, but if you manage to stop and eat here, it's all worth it!
Delicious Thai food and friendly staff! I highly recommend the cashew dish with beef and their Thai iced tea.
The food was delicious and the service was great‼️
We used to come here a lot for their extensive menu. It can get pretty NOISY inside with the sound bouncing off the flat walls! However, the last time was it for me! Nearby was a large table with an irritable very young child who SHRIEKED and SCREAMED for most of the time we sat there! NO staff asked for someone to take the child outside, as they had finished eating and were just sitting there! Many diners were quite irritated with the whole scenario, so finally diners started asking the family to please consider the people trying to eat and remove the child--forget about having a conversation with the LOUD SHRIEKING BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS!!! FINALLY they left....when we were almost finished eating and ready to head over to the art Center. NEVER AGAIN! If the restaurant doesn't have their diners' sanity and hearing in their best interests, then I won't chance it again! There are many other great restaurants within walking distance of the Mesa Art Center! EAT THERE AT A RISK TO YOUR HEARING!
Advantage: Short walk to Mesa Art Center events! Rear parking and yards from city parking lot. Outdoor front patio dining, can accommodate large parties inside.
Was excited initially to come and eat with my family. Read reviews and seem to be positive….. order several things none of which blow any of us away, bland or overly sweet, there was no in between or redeeming qualities to any of the dishes ordered. One dish was even sent back immediately. Customer service dealing with that was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant before. I believe I spoke with the owner or the chef and she looked me in the eyes and asked me, “how do you think we’ll be able to survive if everyone sent back food?” Honestly speaking that sounds like a personal problem when you’re talking to a consumer who’s bill was sitting at around $70 dollars before the plate was sent back. Never coming back no reason to.
DELICIOUS!!! The man who runs this is amazing.
Food is wonderful. So is the staff.
I've eaten at lots of local Thai restaurants, none however hold a candle to Nunthaporns. This place has amazing food. If its authentic you want this is the place. Not a chain restaurant, there is only one location in down town Mesa. Wherever you are coming from its worth the drive, I promise.
Great food, friendly staff, will definitely return for more!
Good service!
Cute little spot for some amazing Thai.
I can’t comment on the food, I didn’t get that far. Don’t come unless you can come at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before they close. I tried to eat here twice. The first time I arrived at 7:45 and they close at 8:30 on a Thursday. Walking through the door I was greeted with the waiter saying “we are not seating anymore.” Came back couple weeks later and arrived just before 7:30. We were seated and I thought we were all set to eat. Had less than 5 minutes to look at the menu and the same waiter asked to take our order. We told him we need a couple more minutes. He tapped his pen on his notepad and said “we close at 8” (the hours on the door say they close at 8:30) and then he stood there waiting for us to decide what we wanted to eat. We left.
I'm slowly working my way through the menu and everything is phenomenal. The curry noodle soup and the evil jungle princess are my favorites.
very good
Consistently great food; been going for years!!
We ordered Chicken Satay, Mussaman Curry, Green Curry, and Garlic Lover dishes. I enjoyed them all very much. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and well-organized. Friendly staff. You'll need to ask for heat if you prefer it. I look forward to returning.
Curry
We ordered yellow curry and the mixed vegetables. Both were so delicious! The service was excellent. They pay attention to detail. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and majority of the menu is vegan adaptable (indicated on the menu with a “V”.
The prices online are different then the prices they charge when you arrive. I requested to speak with a manager about getting my order for the prices listed online. I spoke with the “manager” and he only gave me the option of not taking the food and get my money back. I only wanted the difference of my money back. The online prices are VERY misleading. Order at your own risk! The Manager can keep the difference because I will NEVER give them my business again! I hope the five dollars was worth loosing a customer! Oh and the Vegan wings are saggy and disgusting!
It's the perfect place to grab Thai if you're a local. Taking the traditional approach to Thai cuisine, it's about nailing the basics which they do better than most.
Doesn't even deserve 1 star. We tried ordering an entree that was offered gluten free. They called me and said they couldn't make it gluten free so I asked them to cancel my order, which they did but they never returned my $50.
Update: months later, never returned my money.
Great service, lots of vegan options and gluten-free items specified on the menu. Much appreciated!
Only come if you want to sit and not be served any food. They served several parties after us and even when reminded they never served us. Save your time and go somewhere else.
An absolutely amazing restaurant with great staff and food which will blow you away! Waiters and managers here are always in high spirits and love to speak with their customers. Options are plentiful along with the portion sizes, and there are numerous choices for those that are gluten free or vegetarian!
We stopped in here on a whim after I saw the sign on the street. SO worth it!! Quite possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The service was wonderful, they were super accommodating with our little one, and the food was delicious. It was also fresh, hot, and really fast. We couldn’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed it on the way home!
Can't go wrong here. The food is always great. Definitely recommend this place any time you're hungry!
Very good food
Best Thai food ever.. I've tried other Thai places and none can compare to this one. Best local Thai food around. Highly recommend.
rude service , decent flavor though.
Our party of 9 for lunch required moving tables, which seemed to stress the OCD server out. Wife had Pad Thai, I had Pad see zu. First time here, and not big on spice so we got regular. Both were very bland (safe). Asked for some pepper (ground chili pepper) and it made a world of difference to flavor it up. The other 7 in our party all enjoyed their food. My food wasn't amazing, but was good enough. Many pokemon go stops and a gym accessible from the restaurant.
Excellent curry!
Truly delightful curries and appetizers — the panang and green curries were highlights. The service was great, too — just all around a great dinner.
Proud supporter of this business for many years. The food is the most authentic I have ever had and by far the best in Arizona. Everything is fresh and made to order, and the owner is the kindest human being. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I LOVE this restaurant. We order Nunthaporn's way more often than I'd like to admit, and I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy.
Decent food, Decent service. 4 star experience.
