I read mixed reviews about this place (mostly about the service and wait time), but still wanted to try it. We made reservations for 5pm on Sunday (highly recommend reserving) and were seated right away. Our server was lovely! Wish I remembered her name. We really liked her and she was very attentive to our needs so I’d say they have definitely addressed service issues (although I can’t say for a Friday or Saturday night so take that as you will). We ordered a variety of foods:

-Chicken Pad see Ew (5/5)
-Papaya Salad (3-4/5)
-Mooping with sticky rice (5/5)
-Basil crispy pork belly (3-4/5) - a bit salty and I wish it was a little crispier but it was otherwise good
-Tomzap soup (5/5)
-Tomyum soup (5/5)
-Sashimi and nigiri pieces (5/5)
-Matcha and coconut ice creams (5/5)
-Thai tea (5/5)
-Chicken teriyaki (2-3/5) - I didn’t try it but had to give it the rating my husband said. Not his favorite
-Pork katsu (4/5)

Overall we had a great experience aside from some of the dishes, but could really just be everyone’s different palates. Would def visit again tho if we’re in the area.

The restaurant looked nice and clean, which was a good impression from the start. Unfortunately, the service was somewhat slow. We'd get a server taking our order, different servers bringing out food at different times, and no server to really check on us to ask how food is tasting, if we need anything, or if we're missing anything. After food was delivered, no one bothered to check on us until it was time to give us the check. It's confusing to know where our tip is going.

As for the food, some were very hit or miss. The crying tiger, papaya salad, and cocktails were very good. Unfortunately, the sticky rice that came with the papaya salad was very stale with inedible and soft edible parts. Almost like they didn't stir and mix the rice well enough. I wanted to like the khao soi, but this was very incomparable to the khao soi I've had in Thailand. The chicken and broth was too bland, and the veggies weren't pickled enough.

Although some things were a miss, some of the food was very good. I'd still be happy to come back and try it again, hopefully giving this place a better rating.

We came here for an early Friday night dinner. We were able to fina a parallel parking on the outside. We made a reservation ahead of time and our family members arrived before us so we sat down immediately.

The interior decor is simple and elegant. Modern with some classical elements. Serving utensils are pretty. The woven basket under the plates gives it a nice touch.

We ordered papaya salad, chicken satay, pad see ew, and two curries from the Thai food menu. We did not try the sushi. The food is not terrible, but not very memorable either. One curry comes with rice and the other comes with Roti. The roti is very greasy. Curries are a little watery.

The service staff seemed to lack some basic food and beverage industry training. There are an identifiable black debris in my water but they change the cup quickly. We were given open lid boxes for curry takeaways and had to request several times to get the right number of boxes. We were approached by some staff mentioning about upcoming reservations about 20 minutes after paying when there are at least 4 empty tables around us and an empty section in the back room. Not sure why there is a rush.

Bangkok Kaizen is one of the best restaurants in the Milwaukee and surrounding area! The food is excellent! And, from the greeter at the front door to the wait staff at your table, the service is outstanding! Also, the ambiance is beautiful, comfy, and inviting! My husband and I have been there once or twice a week since they opened. We highly recommend this restaurant for all types of occasions. Enjoy!

Diner Review №5

Food coming out of the kitchen is fantastic but there's alot of room for improvement everywhere else. FoH team is friendly but the whole time we were there it was like they were deer caught in headlights. Needed to prompt them for basics like silverware and napkins. I know they've only been open a month but there are tons of kinks to work out and honestly without FoH leadership intervention, it's not going to get better. Chef/Owner clearly has the BoH team running like a well oiled machine but needs to devote some time to coaching the customer facing side too. As for ambiance concept and decor are good but things need to be cleaned up... Bar prep stations were all sorts messy, cleaning solution was sitting right next to garnishes, staff personal effects (Starbucks cups) were openly visible, just to name a few things.

Diner Review №6

My family and I made reservations here for an early dinner on a Friday. The interior is bright and open, likely owing to the fact that this space was previously occupied by a French restaurant that closed shortly after opening. (Could this be indicative of the location?) The restaurant has many tables, but few were occupied. The staff were attentive, making sure to check in and see how we were doing. The food was fairly quick to arrive. We ordered chicken satay, papaya salad, pad see ew, basil fried rice, and two curry dishes (green and massaman). Overall, the food was unmemorable. The satay was cold. Both curry dishes were too watery with a paucity of contents. The only food worth trying was the pad see ew. Noting else stood out. Oddly enough, for a party of four, no serving utensils were provided for sharing. Multiple requests were made for such utensils, but most of these were met with the waitress' blank stare. Even though this is a minor detail, this may be indicative of an overall lack of training for the restaurant staff.

Once dinner was finished and the cheque paid, we sat at the table for a short period of time to chit chat, when, I presume, the manager (or someone with a headset) came over and said, "I have other reservations, and need this table." Ordinarily, I can understand that a restaurant needs to turn over tables quickly to accommodate long lines of customers, but when there are at least 3-4 empty tables (I counted), such a request is unprofessional. It fails to convey a welcoming environment for people to come, eat, and enjoy themselves. Rather, it signals to patrons, "You paid, now leave."

Needless to say, I have no desire to return. There are other Thai and sushi restaurants in the Wauwatosa area that are much, much better. (Kin and Thai-namite immediately come to mind.) To emphasize how unremarkable and forgettable this restaurant is, I forgot the name of the restaurant after I left, and had to look it up to write this review.

Final verdict: Pass

The sushi menu changed and it's not as good as it was when it was Spicy Tuna. Bring back the old sushi menu please

Diner Review №8

Service was extremely good. Not my kind of food BUT took my 21yr old granddaughter who loves it. She said it was the best crab Rangoon she has ever had. Everything is made fresh to order.

Diner Review №9

Great food and service!! And the place is beautiful as is the food presentation. Really delicious food cooked perfectly and with really awesome high quality ingredients! My pad thai had tons of veggies including some interesting mushrooms. The curry is also good! Huge menu! I’ve eaten there twice and can’t wait to go back and try more. Loved their amazing sushi when they were Spicy Tuna so I know the sushi is outstanding! So thrilled to have this level of Thai cuisine on this side of town! Perfect date night place!

Diner Review №10

food tasted amazing!! i think i might’ve had a server that was training so the manager had to retake our whole order again, but its okay! def time and room for improvement, other than that, a lot of different people checked up on us which was a little awkward but everyone was very friendly and the food tasted really good!!

Super friendly service! Food and sushi were absolutely amazing — everything came out super quick! Great atmosphere— will be back! Definitely recommend making a reservation as we were here at 2pm on a Sunday and they were busy. Thank you! Kim was great and we will request her next time for our server :-)

Very extensive menu, great presentation, and very flavorful food. Several options for vegetarians if needed. The sauces for both vegetarian & meat options are phenomenal.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Took my wife here after her long battle with cancer. Great food 'made to order' amidst casual elegance. Staff was very kind and accommodating try the Tamarind Chicken and the Ginger King Shrimp Pad Khing!

Diner Review №18

Stopped in at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, a slow time for almost all restaurants. Staff was very attentive checking to ensure we were happy, ater glasses full, etc. Wanted something unusual and staff helped us work through the extensive menu. Our choices were:

Chive Dumpling (appetizer)
Steamed Fish Curry (special Valentines Day app. special)
Basil Crispy Pork
Pad Khee Mao

Very authentic. Owner suggested that despite our concern with ordering cliche' pad Thai is the most authentic in the area outside of Chicago. Very clean, very chic.

All dishes were delicious. Suchi is not our thing, but the menu was extensive.

Will definitely be coming back which is a rare compliment considering the many great choices in the Milwaukee area.

Very beautiful thai restaurant and really good service.I like Moo ping🤤 The taste of the meat is soft and smooth on the tongue. I've never eaten it anywhere else. It's as delicious as here. If you want to come and try it, you have to come to Bangkok Kaizen the original street food of Thailand to day we are orders appetizer set A look very amazing. Pad krapao crispy pork,Rad na, Kow soi. The owner services for waitress served very kind person and services mind. Thank you so much for the best thai food around Milwaukee we will come back for trying more the food next time

Diner Review №23

Had a great meal here last night. If you are familiar with Thai food I think you will find a lot of options on the menu. If you are not (like me) the staff is very helpful in explaining things and guiding you to a choices. I had the classic pad Thai and a beef satay appetizer. Both were very tasty. Give it a try!

Diner Review №24

Y’all seem to be changing real quick. Not for the better. When y’all opened you made a good first impression but now I’m sure some people (like me) are not a fan of the service. It’s clear their staff really need to step their game up.

Listen, run to this place, it is worth it! The food is so flavorful. They made our beef sauce to perfection with the modifications we wanted and the roti was so delicious! The waitstaff were super friendly and accommodating! And the place was spotless and the ambience was soothing!

Diner Review №30

We were so excited to come here as we were HUGE fans of Spicy Tuna and we were not disappointed! Would recommend a reservation to secure your spot due to popularity! We were very happy to find out that some of our favorites (crab rangoons and the spicy tuna roll) are on the menu and have the same quality we came to expect at Spicy Tuna. We also tried out some of the new menu items- the garlic stir fry and the “into the wild roll” both of which were great. We will definitely be back!

Diner Review №31

Food-taste wise was good when we received it. But food was on the warm to cool temperature wise. Service- Our drink refill didn't happen. If food didn't take so long to come out, I would come back, but we waited 30 min for seating, then an additional 48 min for food. Then, when food came out, it was not hot. It wasn't busy either, so idk what was the long wait.

Diner Review №32

2 of our chairs were broken, the server said he was the owner. When I said my noodles were too hard he explained that they are supposed to be that way and would not give any other option for me to enjoy my food. I asked could they cook mine longer and he did but it was still bad. I ordered chicken pad Thai but I didn’t like it. The service was not good. Would never go back.

Diner Review №33

Arrived at 5:45-6pm on a Friday night for dinner with my husband. Upon entering, we witnessed a server arguing with the two hostesses at the host desk about the amount of tables she’s had - clearly unprofessional from the start. When the hostess finally greeted us and asked if we had reservations, we indicated we did not, but with just a quick scan around the restaurant, it was nearly 3/4 empty. We didn’t argue and went next door for tacos - which was delicious BTW. After finishing dinner, about an hour later, we had to walk past the restaurant to get back to our car and happened to glance through their windows just to see how “busy” they were - they weren’t at all! The restaurant was still 3/4 empty. Anyone with a smart business mindset would not be turning away customers, especially when they’ve just opened and are trying to establish clientele.

And don’t come at me with that bullshit saying those tables were saved for people that weren’t there yet. We witnessed the entire fiasco and the restaurant was pretty much dead on a Friday night, when they should’ve been hustlin’ & bustlin’ otherwise. Unsure how long this place will stay in business if they continue to operate this way.

Diner Review №34

Sushi is fresh and amazing!

Diner Review №35

I decided to try out Bangkok Kaizen since I saw a video ad of it on Instagram. Although the restaurant is atheistically pleasing, I was extremely disappointed with the food and service. The server had no enthusiasm and barely checked up on us.

The only dish that I enjoyed was the chicken satay (which wasn't even a main dish, it was an appetizer). The pad thai had such an odd flavor and was super sour. The chicken was bland in flavor. From my experience, pad thai should have a well balanced flavor of salty, sour and sweet. I took one bite of the pad thai and stopped eating it after that since it was not appetizing. The crispy pork belly was over seasoned, salty and not even that crispy.

Overall, I was not impressed with the food or the service and will not be returning. I am aware that the restaurant just recently opened and they are working out the kinks. In all honesty, I'm unsure on how authentic the food is, but hopefully they take some time to work out their recipes and flavors.

Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Dinner Experience

Today, I went to dinner with seven friends, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we arrived, the tone was set: the hostess informed us that if we were seated, we’d have to be rushed because the restaurant closes at 9 PM. While understandable given it was 7 PM, the way it was emphasized felt unnecessarily unwelcoming.

Once seated, things went downhill. The wait for our food was unbearable—I waited over an hour for my basil fried rice, and my friend’s dish took around 50 minutes. To make matters worse, our waiter never checked in on us—not once. I had to flag down a different staff member 40 minutes into the wait, who promised the food would arrive in 10 minutes. Thirty minutes later, my food was still nowhere to be seen.

When I finally spoke with the manager, I politely explained the situation and acknowledged that they had just opened, but I asked for some form of compensation for the almost 90-minute wait. While the manager agreed, our waiter only offered a meager 10% discount. After further discussions and another rude interaction with a different waiter, we were begrudgingly given 20% off. By that point, we had already spent over two hours in the restaurant feeling neglected and dissatisfied.

The irony of the situation is that the food itself was fantastic—every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. But the customer service was a glaring 0/10. There was no empathy, no proactive effort to address delays, and the dismissive attitude from some staff members made the experience even more frustrating. I made a point to politely shake the manager’s hand and explain the issue, hoping they’ll take feedback to heart.

If you’re considering dining here, I’d suggest giving the restaurant a few weeks to sort out their growing pains. For now, though, I’m deeply disappointed with my experience. Great food can’t make up for poor service, and until improvements are made, I won’t be returning.

Great sushi. Good people. Very reasonable prices. Very nice atmosphere.

Diner Review №40

Lots to choose from, HUGE menu. I came in during their first two weeks open and the wait time is looooong. I don’t recommend the pad sew ew even tho it’s a “favorite” but the roll was good! I would say I would come back because it’s gorgeous inside, but the wait to get food and everything just takes too long.

Diner Review №41

Place was half empty on a Saturday night and we need reservations? Getting tacos next door…

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Food was absolutely phenomenal- the crispy shrimp donut was delicious as was the takoyaki. Service was really bad - we were there for 2 hours for lunch. After waiting over 40 minutes for entrees we were told the kitchen was backed up and they make each thing to order. I don’t mind a leisurely pace but this was excessive. They did address it and gave 10% off total but they may need some changes in the kitchen as it wasn’t very busy. And a table that was seated after we were received multiple items while we waited and waited.

Diner Review №44

I was so excited to try this place. But, ended up very disappointed. We ordered a spicy tuna roll which our service forgot to put in. We ended up getting it after we were eating our mains. At that point we didn’t want it anymore. Our mains took a very long time to get. The crispy pork was very chewy and unpleasant. My husband thought his curry was pretty good. They knew we weren’t satisfied yet still charged us the full amount. We really wanted to like it.

Diner Review №45

The food was alright but I thought it was weird that the hostess implied that customers have to have a reservation????

Diner Review №46

The restaurant was clean and gorgeous inside. Their food/sushi was fantastic. They do designs on the board the sushi comes out on. I cannot wait until I go again.

Diner Review №47

After waiting 1.5 hours they came out and told us that they weren't happy with how the food turned out. We then had to order something different and wait for that to be made as well. It wasn't that busy of a night either. The food was pretty good when it did finally come out. It was a pretty interesting choice that the check didn't get adjusted after all this either. Also, they have some high tables and chairs that don't have food rests and my feet were dangling like a toddler and were falling asleep. Weird.

Overall the food was good but the experience was not.

Diner Review №48

The servers were incredibly kind and the food was delicious. I tried the Crab Rangoon and Crispy Pork! The Curry that my bf got tasted very piney, so if you're into that kind of thing then go for it, otherwise everything else was amazing 😊 thank you!

Diner Review №49

Diner Review №50

The food is phenomenal. I'd say it's very close to true authentic thai/Asian food. Especially in Milwaukee. Would def come back in the future!

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

I really want this place to succeed. I feel like some items quantity should be increased by 2 - 3 more for the current asking price. $8 for (3) takoyaki is criminal. I haven’t tried the others, but at least make it at most 5. I haven’t seen the satay but 3 for $14 is a bit steep.

Either increase the quantity by adding an extra 1 at most 3 for some of these items or lower price a bit. The sushi was good, but feel like quantity is lacking.

I’m willing to give it another try. But I hope they rework some of the menu quantity of a few items for the current prices.

Horrible service

Diner Review №54

Service: 0/10
Food: ?? couldn’t get seated to try

Went on Sunday afternoon with a party of 4. Place was not full, there were 2 booths opened, and 2 tables that were probably a 4 top. But hostess told us it would be a 45 minute wait bc we didn’t have a reservation. I asked if I those tables were already reserved and she said no. Ok.. we decided whatever, we’re here we want to try the food, so we’ll wait. Within the first 20 mins of our wait, 2 separate couples came in and were told it was an hour wait. They left and that should have been our cue to leave. When 30 minutes passed, 2 different tables had left so there were now 6 tables/booths open. Wait staff was just standing around. Another lady who had been sitting, waiting a little after us was also getting restless. She went up to the hostess to ask if any of us were going to get seated soon seeing that there were now 6 open tables. Hostess said no, it’s for reservations and rolled her eyes 🤯 lady, we have been here for 30 minutes and no reservations came in. What are you holding these tables hostage for? Management needs to do a better job training these kids. They have no service skills or problem solving skills. There is no communication between the wait staff and the hostess. And if these kids are following management’s weird rule of reservations at least make it clear that reservations are required. If they’re the same owners as Spicy Tuna/Siam Thai, it’s quite mind blowing how different the management styles are.

The hostess’ eye rolling and attitude was our cue to leave. She was literally going to make us wait 45 mins to be seated in a now almost half empty resto on a Sunday afternoon. We drove down to Thai-namite and the staff could not wait to seat us and serve us. A night and day difference from a long established resto compared to a new one that needs a lot of training.

Diner Review №56

Food was fantastic and very good. Had a huge menu option which I was suprised about, but its a very good thing. Many appetizers to choose from from both the Thai and Japanese options. Customer service was phenomenal, like very good. We ordered alot and the chef would apologize about the wait for food which was super kind. Waiters were always attentive and aware if we needed water or not. Always there if we needed something as well. Great place for dinner or other occasions. I throughly enjoyed the food and customer service. Would recommend this place.

Diner Review №57

Very rude person at the door told us in a condescending no tables available no walk ins and bartender was not in so could not eat at the high tables or bar . Was are first time there and last time !!!’ The funny thing is it was a “Sunday “ and we saw tables open and it was just me and my wife !

Diner Review №58

Tried to go on a Sunday afternoon. There was maybe 6ish tables. The placed looked empty. They asked us if we had a reservation, did not because it was Sunday at 1 PM. Then told us it would be greater than a 30 minute wait. We ended up eating next-door and when we were walking back to our car, multiple people were at the door trying to get in the restaurant and the doors were locked, even though people were still sitting at the tables. Host was still at the stand right by the door. Very confused and slightly disappointed. We’re Looking forward to trying it. Not sure I want to try again. It’s OK to tell customers that you are short-staffed and apologize.

Saw promotional media for this location. Started following on social media. Nowhere in their stories or postings does it mention reservations are recommended. Was unaware they did not open until 5, no issue was just unaware. Arrived just before 430, doors were open but a staff member said they open at 5 please come back. We chilled in the parking lot and came back at 5:05 to not be there right when doors open and were told unless we had a reservation that we could not be seated until 7:30. Why didn’t they tell us that at 4:30? We wasted 30 mins just to be sent away. And there was maybe 10 people there at 5. Poor customer experience before even getting to try the food.

I visited last Thursday for dinner and had the chicken satay—it was absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to see it served with toasted bread, and the server mentioned that’s the way it’s typically served in Thailand.

The chicken satay was perfect and rich in flavor. I definitely plan on trying the mooping on my next visit.

I also ordered the classic Thai fried rice, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious!

Thanks for bringing such amazing food to our area!

I absolutely loved the food there! I tried the pad thai with grilled chicken, and it was simply divine—juicy and perfectly marinated with herbs. It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had!

Diner Review №89

The food is good, but the service is so bad that it makes everything else fall apart. The restaurant was half full and I waited 15 minutes to have my order taken, and this was only after I had to flag my waiter down. My food took almost an hour to be ready. I was there for two hours and the waiter didn’t check up on me once.

Diner Review №90

Great food and service. The plates are literally a work of art!!

Diner Review №91

It's not for everyone. This is fine dining asian food. Read that last sentence again. If you're more on the healthy side and less sodium, and ok with the fine dining price, this is for you. If you like more flavorful and a little more portion than a kid cereal bowl, this is not for you. It's a 1x experience for me. Our food was brought out as they were made along with other tables as though they were trying to lock people down on staying as long as one dish was out. Our dish was 15-20 minutes apart so if you have a large party 3 or more, do not expect to eat at the same time. Some of our dish were cold by the time everything we order was complete. I am not sure if we needed reservation, but we walked in and lady told us to wait because she need to check if any table was available and I kid you not, there were only 2 tables occupied and it's only 430pm. Aside from this, food was mediocre. Dishes we order: pork belly larb: sour and you need to mix it first. The liquid is on the bottom. This was 5/10. Next dish was Komatsu- chicken was cooked nice and moist. More curry could help and need more flavors, salt helps- 6/10. Next up was some pork curry- 1/10- I don't know, flavor was not there, very watery for curry. Real curry does not taste like that; could've been my bowl- idk, it confused me. Finally, there was a eel over rice platter (forgot what it's called)- 8/10, it's ok...it looked like sushi sweet sauce smother the eel- nothing crazy or special about it. Portion doesn't matter much to me as long as the flavor is there. Unfortunately, this place is not it. Atmosphere is great tho.

Everything was delicious. I’ve been raving about the crispy pork belly for about two days now. You need to try it

Diner Review №99

Just opened and working out some timing but food was good. Will come back.

NEW RESTAURANT ALERT! Yesterday, I had one of the tastiest and most beautiful meals I’ve ever had in Milwaukee! At the new Bangkok Kaizen at the Mayfair Collection! We got to try the chicken satay, a gorgeous sushi platter, crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, lard na, and homemade pandan ice cream. Everything tasted very high quality yet homemade. My husband’s favorite was the nice flavorful pork belly. 🐷🍚 My favorite was the fried shrimp on the sushi platter because it was perfectly cooked. 🍤 We were really impressed with the Thai dishes in particular. The interior was also lovely and inviting. We will definitely be back and we will bring others! Go and check them out!

I am a long time follower of Spicy Tuna and was very excited to try their new place. Everything was amazing. Service was impeccable and so warm and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back! Fingers crossed the lion king roll makes an appearance someday. I had the dancing dragon and spicy tuna roll. Both were delicious.

Food was delicious, but the portion size could be bigger for the price being paid for. We ordered one of the special sushi , but it turned out to only be rice paper wraps with veggies which was weird. Otherwise, the food was good and well plated.

Diner Review №106

Solid. Great service. All 3 enjoyed the food

We had an incredible experience here. The waitress was absolutely fantastic -Olivia, she guided us on what to order and recommended some of the best dishes on the menu. The sushi we tried was truly out of this world!

I highly recommend giving this place a try. We can't wait to go back and sample more of their amazing dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also beautiful, adding to the overall dining experience.

Diner Review №108

The food was amazing, the pork and beef was very tender and melted in your mouth. The decoration and attention to detail w as fantastic.

Enjoyed the food and service!

Grand opening of Bangkok Kaizen! This is their 3rd day opening. We decided to stop in for lunch since we heard the dinner was packed for the past few days. Located in the Mayfair collection. This place has a nice and elegant setting. There's also a big reservation room in the back. Nicely space out tables. The servers were nice. I forgot her name. She gave us free crab rangoon for being loyal customers.
Crab Rangoon was really good. The stuffing was to da max! I give it a 10/10
We ordered a papaya appetizer
Thai-style papaya! Came with some sticky rice and grilled chicken thighs.
The papaya was on point. We ordered a medium spice level and it was spicy. No issue here. Those who don't like it spicy just ask for a little spice. 8/10
Grilled chicken was okay. Moist and delicious. 7/10
Chicken red curry- good curry. They used chicken thighs. Extra plus. 8/10
Chicken Pad Thai- The portion wasn't that big. But this dish was on point. Noodle and chicken was a little char which I liked. One of the better pad thai if not the best pad thai Noodle in the MKE area. 10/10
Pork belly laab salad- this dish was on the bottom. The pork belly itself was good. But there seems to be too much lime and tamarind that didn't quite go well together. 5/10
We didn't try any sushi today. Will have to come back for more.

9/10

Terrible management.

Diner Review №112

Very unprofessional.

Diner Review №113

Seriously good Thai food, just like we had in Thailand. Haven't found many options as good in the Milwaukee area, especially not with authentic ingredients (the limes and Thai basil). Food was made just as spicy as we wanted it, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back again.

A cute restaurant with delicious food! Great service

Diner Review №115

Second opening night and this place is a winner! Beautiful presentation of sashimi, rolls and dishes overall. Fresh sashimi. Comfortable decor with expansive menu of Thai, Japanese items. Spacious. Many selections of soups, noodles, curries, and rice bowls. Location is easy to get to as it's right across from Whole Foods. Food itself was tasty, reasonably priced and authentic. Would highly recommend!

Diner Review №116

We went on their first day and everything was great! The drinks were really good and not too sweet. We ordered a medium spice pad see ew and it was really balanced with salt, spicy, and sour compared to other places we’ve tried. We also got a crying tiger steak with sticky rice and the steak & sauce were soooo flavorful. Sauce was spicy and the steak was tender. The portions on everything were a bit smaller compared to other places but flavor-wise, it was great. I will say it was a bit of a wait for the food, but our waitress, Olivia, kept checking up on us and updating us. It was their first day so I get it. I would definitely want to come back in the future once they’ve settled in and got a better system in.

Diner Review №117

Very tasty authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine. Great menu. Pad Thai, Laab, and Pork Belly was delicious. Service was solid, very friendly. Would recommend checking it out

Diner Review №118

Went for their soft opening. Very bright atmosphere. Presentation of food was very eye catching! I had 2 of their signature sushi rolls and they both were delightful! Will definitely come back to try their other choices

Diner Review №119

Everything was fantastic and will definitely be back.

Diner Review №120

Bangkok Kaizen is really pretty inside, gives me Vegas strip vibes. My wife and I come through for a couple dishes. Had the Crab Rangoon, Massaman Curry with chicken and "a Thai to remember" signature sushi roll. The Rangoon's were perfectly crisp. The curry was delicious, the potatoes in it didn't do anything extra for us, but it didn't take away from the dish either. The speciality roll was as flavorful as it was visually beautiful. Will definitely return. They just had their soft opening so they are working through some kinks with their technology, but it was a fantastic experience!

What a treat to have this across from my office. After a few years of looking out to a prime vacant space, it’s great to have a local establishment here in Tosa. Loved the fresh spring rolls with the peanut sauce. And the chicken green curry was spot on, full of fragrant flavor and perfectly prepared fresh veggies. I’ll be back! Best wishes in business!

Diner Review №122

The food was good but a lot of dishes were sweet.
