I’ve been coming here for three years, and every dish has been fantastic—except the Lemon Chicken. Favorites include Chicken Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Seafood Delight, and Dumplings. Great portions, too! A 10/10 recommendation to anyone.

My daughters and I would eat Asian food all day, every day, if only it were feasible. Best Thai is among our favorites, and while I have reviewed it from a solo visit not long ago, I’ll share what the three of us had today.

Youngest Daughter opted for Udon Noodles with Tofu, which is essentially a huge bowl of soups with massive chunks of plant-based protein. The tofu has been lightly fried, and while this is a soup, it was still edible for the most part with chopsticks. Well, until you are left with only the broth!
Oldest Daughter chose her favorite, Tom Yum Soup with noodles, chicken, pork, and shrimp. This bowl packed a lot of heat, both temperature and spice, which fit her just fine.
And I went with a long-time fave, Green Curry Tofu and Steamed White Rice. This, too, was mouth-on-fire hot, and Oldest Daughter and I laughed about how we were having to wipe our sudden sniffles.

We give six thumbs up. Best Thai provides sizable portions at affordable prices. Check hours for openings, because they shut down between lunch and evening meals.

I have ate here about 40 times and I have never had bad food. Some of my favorite item is the fried rice and fried chicken. This is some of the best I food I’ve ever had. I go here once a week.

Service was okay, but they weren't super friendly. My massaman curry with tofu wasn't that good. Not spicy at all, and the tofu was almost crispy on the outside (fried, I guess?). Portion was small. The others thought their meals were okay, but not great. The food here wasn't bad, but it isn't a place I'd probably go back to. Our Thai places back in San Antonio are much more flavorful, and most have the option of sweat-inducing spiciness like I prefer.

I ordered the Spicy Ginger and Jasmine tea . It was very good and the portion was more than I could eat. I love ginger and this dish really hit the spot. It could've been spicier, but I'm from NM where chile runs in our veins. The waiter was very nice and quick to serve. I definitely recommend Best Thai Restaurant!

The place has gone down hill on quality. It was good during the pandemic. I went back a couple days ago and food lacked flavor, had plenty of spiciness though. The ingredients were not fresh. Not terrible but not great either. I'm sorry. Won't be back.

Food is always fantastic and reasonably priced fantastic food. My issue is they close dining room early or when they want to and when the dining room is open service is just lacking some.

I LOVE Thai food! However, I am often disappointed by many of the establishments we end up going to. They’re usually not very authentic or just not that good. We were traveling though and stopped for dinner here. Everything was so so great! The restaurant was clean and the server (maybe the owner?) seemed to be doing the serving, the register, and the cleaning, yet did it all with grace. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Best Thai left us incredibly surprised by how delectable it was and satisfied with nothing left to be desired! If only we lived closer, I’d be a regular!

Our first visit was a great visit. The food was excellant and the service spot on. We were looking for a good Thai food restaurant close to home and we were pleasantly surprised. We will be back again soon! I highly recommend!

Just average food. We had drunken noodles, the flavor was good, but definitely needed more sauce as the noodles were sticking together. The beef was over cooked, and the tofu was deep fried and just added to the top, so it was flavorless.

Highly recommend! Our family was traveling from Texas to Colorado and stopped along the way for dinner. Best Thai was so welcoming and the food excellent. The authenticity made us feel we were being fed a home cooked meal. Left with warmth in our bellies.

Take out was terrible. Went in trash. They DO NOT back their product. All you get is..so sorry...so sorry. A refund for slop is not available.

Spring rolls were good. Pad Thai and lo mein were bland. Fried rice was just rice and some scrambled egg chunks. Disappointed.

Literally the best Thai restaurant in Canyon. The staff is amazingly friendly, and I've never had a bad experience in all the years of dining here. The portions are generous, the sweet tea and lemonade are outstanding, and nobody makes crab cheese wantons like Best Thai. The pad Thai is perfectly sweet, salty, and savory, and the cashew chicken is the best comfort food. I love the vegetarian options too!

Best Thai served Thai food that is hard to beat in Canyon. The averange price per dish is $10($8.50 to $12). The kid's dish is $5 each. I spent $42 for 3 normal size dishes and 2 kid's dishes. There are four Thai restaurants in Canyon that I know. Best Thai got the biggest dish portion among them. If you want the best bucks for the big bangs, I would go to Best Thai. Best Thai also serves some Thai traditional dishes. If you like Thai traditional, look for the Thai traditional section on the menu. I personally like the traditional, and their spicy seafood(not spicy at all in my opinion, only the sweet smelling of chili) dish is my favorite. I would rank the best in Canyon in overall aspects. I would definitely recommend Best Thai if you are looking for Thai food in Canyon.

I'm obsessed with Thai food and this place is just hands down the best in Canyon TX. Awesome Goyza, Egg rolls, Spring rolls, Pad Thai, Tom yum noodle soup, Beef noodle soup!!!! I highly suggest trying out Best Thai if you live in Canyon TX, Amarillo TX, or you are just passing through and find yourself hungry. Best Thai is the best place to give a try. Their staff are wonderful people and their food is always cooked to order and they give pretty good portions. You can call ahead an order or dine in and they have a drive thru. The stir fried vegetables are the BEST! Everything we have ordered is good. Hubby loves the pad see ew. Last night the parking lot was full but the restaurant had just a few customers. It appears WT students are filling their parking lot, so don't be discouraged.

My original review is below but I had to update it since the quality has decreased in recent times. The curry is super watery now, as if the coconut milk is almost non existent. The chicken is overcooked most visits. Instead of sacrificing quality, just raise prices a little. Disappointing…Not the best Thai, by far.

We just tried this restaurant for the first time recently and have since been back several times. I always get the Sweet and Sour Chicken for lunch and the price can't be beat. The food is always super fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is always well-lit and relaxed. The same employees have been working each time we've visited, and they're always really friendly and welcoming. You can't ask for better!

During our short stay in Canyon we ate there twice. Very good service easy call in and window pick up for minimum contact. Food was very tasty.

We always love going to Best Thai. The food is full of flavor and the staff is the best. They are always attentive to my wife’s food allergies and take special care in making sure they cook so it does not affect her.

A nice surprise while we were visiting the area to see Palo Duro. Stopped in for lunch and the food was delicious, and they were very friendly and accommodating to my requests: vegetarian and REALLY SPICY. Everything tasted super fresh and scratch-made. When we were there, it was a brother and sister team running the place, him out front/her in the kitchen. They were communicative with us, and with each other, to make sure we had a great overall experience...and we did!

5 stars for the food! 3 on the service. There was only one waitress and no one offered to help her out! The kitchen also screwed up and lost our ticket! Also not sure why but it was hotter than hades in there!! Best Thai y'all can do much better!!

It’s a good place to eat but I prefer a few others. Service isn’t bad but it’s not amazing either. Nothing to write home about. But I would eat here again. There is a lot to be done to make a 5 star review.

I wish there was someway to get Best Thai in Canada because it was some of the best food I've ever tasted.

Got the Best Thai Noodle and Spicy Mongolian. Both were excellent. Leftovers will be breakfast and then we may go back for dinner tomorrow to get some Pad Kee Mao. We've been traveling so it was nice to discover a lighter dinner option than fast food. I usually post a picture, but we were done before I thought of it.
