My husband enjoyed the red curry with chicken, and my kid loved it too. The mango smoothie was delicious, but unfortunately, the mango rice didn't quite live up to my expectations.

Rice was soft and pillowy, sauces were very flavorful, the chicken was tender and juicy, the spring rolls were crispy with super fresh tasting ingredients, and customer service was very kind and quick. I would come often. This place is great! Totally recommend it.

i’ve been twice , the second time hopeful, giving the place another chance. but it simply isn’t that great. its okay at best. i’ve had friends and coworkers recommend this place and im met with a confused look when i say im not impressed, which is quite surprising to me. the food isn’t seasoned great or anything, its by no means bad but i feel like i can make tastier curry at home; given the price this just feels a bit bittersweet! my partner and i love thai food and have a place in milwaukee we love greatly and were excited to go somewhere more local at the time but it just gives us no reason to come back; id much rather drive 30 minutes and pay around the same price for food im actually with which im actually impressed. i dont really even care to take my leftovers home with me here unfortunately. the staff was nice though!

I can’t tell if the people of Racine have never had actual Thai food before, but this place is absolutely not special. The yellow curry is under seasoned, incredibly bland - same for their green curry. I never have had to salt a curry before but it’s necessary here. Food was okay at best (was it warm? Yeah. What is edible? Sure. Service was fine) but absolutely NOT worth the price. Go to Milwaukee to get Thai, this isn’t at all close to it.

Restaurant was OK decor wise, there is a giant step in the middle of the restaurant (semi-hazard). The calamari and volcano chicken that came out was excellent, however the volcano shrimp and vegetable sides that came with the meals tasted and smelled of rot. Those who ate either in our group became ill later. Will likely not be returning in the future.

Solid spot. I ordered the Thai fried rice with pork, tomatoes, cashews, and pineapple. I did one star and it was more than I was expecting, but a good amount of spice. If you’re a fan of spicy food, two or three stars will do the trick for you.

Tried something new this time and got a grilled chicken dish. It was very good but I still think the house curry is my favorite. Can't go wrong with a Thai green iced tea and mango sticky rice.

It had no salt it had no curry flavor it had sweet potatoes, potatoes, carrots, and some noodles looking stuff and it tasted awful no salt. And runny sauce . It was supposed to have coconut milk in but it was water soup with no coconut flavor whatsoever That was the first time we ever ordered from there. After eating at a Thai restaurant in Chicago,we were surprised to see that Racine had a Thai restaurant .So we wanted to try it. The dish cost over $18 after being advertised for only 14 which was a surprise and it was not a bang for the cost, it was a bust. my family and I will never go back to that restaurant again.we were not met with a smile We were met with a frown even though we had ordered ahead and it was just a pickup the waitress assumed that we were going to order and sit. We ordered our food around 7:20, when we found that the restaurant would close at 8:00. So we ordered to go. Don't ever order house favorite Curry if you like your food seasoned and with spice and you want it to taste like Thai food. the food was ready when we got there and it tasted awful.

Thai is a weekly go-to food no matter where we are, and I have never had a bad Thai experience. It does take a bit to really impress me, though. I will say that Sticky Rice didn't disappoint. It was very good but not the best, that's not a hit as I've no complaints and really enjoyed the meal. Overall, a mild americanized Thai that was unique and flavorful. The veggie entrée was excellent with a flavorful light brown sauce and a good portion of fresh veggies sautéed perfectly. Fresh spring rolls were very nice as well. I recommend eating here and will return when in town again.

Every time I’ve eaten here, I’ve been thrilled. It’s become a favorite of our family! Absolutely delicious, well prepared food. The restaurant itself is a delight - friendly and prompt service, nicely kept place. I have to stop myself from eating here every time I go downtown. If you haven’t tried it, you absolutely must!

Today was our first time trying Sticky Rice. We have heard a lot of good things about it and have been wanting to try. My husband loved his chicken fried rice with broccoli and pineapple. I’m sure I would have enjoyed my Mango chicken if it didn’t have hair in it. 😔 The rice was good though. I’d be willing to give it another try & hopefully be able to update this review.

Ordered Thai Green Tea. $6.99 more expensive than a glass of wine. Original Curry was ordered. Stringy nasty pieces of butt ends of chicken . No green color from curry. Barely tasted any curry, so watered down. Makes me wonder saving the Curry and reusing till it has no curry taste? Always had somewhat ok experiences but this dinner last week was horrible. Won’t be back. Lost my business like Krung Thai did….Will go to Milwaukee for real Thai food in the future….

This place is VERY popular. We were there on a Tuesday night and 10 tables of people walked in the 15 minutes before we arrived. The server was honest enough to let us know and that we might have to wait. But the manager stepped up and made sure our table of 12 got served. Food was very fresh and hot and tasty. I got the Hot Pot seafood soup. It was in an odd shaped bowl but still very good.

First time here at Sticky Rice Thai! The reviews did not disappoint! I had my favorite Yellow Curry Chicken which is gluten free.. it was excellent. Perfectly cooked chunks of chicken and a Perfect blend of veggies and rice. I highly recommend

I want to preface this review by saying I love this place. I previously had a 5-star review, because I love the food, the service is always great, and the owner has always been super friendly with us. It was definitely our favorite restaurant in Racine. But after a recent visit, the whole table agreed that there is something that the management/owner needs to hear.

Your spice ranking system is completely useless. It is way, way too spicy for the average person, and it is super inconsistent. I like spicy food much more than the average person, and you can trust me when I tell you this. At this recent visit, the dining experience was essentially ruined for more than half the table by this. They all wanted some spice (not mild), but the levels of spice offered were not acceptable for them, even at the lowest level.

In my experience, the half star is functionally identical to the full star, and this is already way too hot for the average person who enjoys some spice to their food. From there, the levels just get ridiculous and I can't imagine many people at all enjoy them.

I've heard many times now that "if the wife is cooking, she tends to make it hotter." This concept is simply unacceptable for a restaurant. Your food needs to be consistent.

We're also aware that the spiciness levels were INCREASED in recent months. They were already way too spicy before, but this is pure insanity.

I recommend switching to a 5-level system where the first level is far, far less than the current half star. Your menu has several items that should land here (but currently have no stars), such as waterfall beef or the hot and spicy stir fry. For people like myself, this level of spiciness is essentially nothing. However, your current half star completely blows this level out of the water, they're not even close to comparable and there's essentially no middle ground.

This is the one and only glaring flaw to your restaurant. Please fix it. We love you!

I’ve lived all over the country. This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve had Thai food on the East coast and the west coast and every where in between. They really know what they’re doing. I’m going to be a regular from now on.

First time here and everyone including the owner (I believe) was very attentive to details and friendly. We will be back!

Phenomenal food! The flavor is delicious and the portions are insane. I ordered crab wontons and fried rice (both amazing) ate the crab wontons and some of the rice with still plenty left over. I have made 3 meals out of my left overs on top of eating at the restaurant (enough to fill me up each time) and even reheated you get amazing, fresh taste. The service was wonderful and restaurant was clean. I would recommend this place to anyone!

OMG…. This place is absolutely amazing! A friend brought me here and I was skeptical as I’m not a huge fan of Asian style cuisine. I ordered the Thai Gumbo with 1-Star heat and I was blown away! It used to be my favorite place but lately it hasn’t been consistent. I always get the Thai fried rice I remember it being sweet and had flavor now it’s just bland.

I also got 2 orders of fried spring rolls but instead they gave us just 4 long ones. It was weird because the usually is cut up , I can see it faster for then but I just wish they stayed consistent.

I had the most delicious bowl of soup there. So fresh and fragrant with authentic fresh Thai herbs.

I been to Thailand multiple times and this is the closest I have ever tasted it like it is there, it is delicious!

The first time I tried all what I ordered was delicious ! The padthay and the traditional lemon grass soup have spectacular taste. Second time I tried the home tradicional curry (chicken) and the sea food red curry (just shrimp). That was good too and not so spicy (could be a little more). Good choice in downtown Racine.

I just got done eating there with my friend and I loved it. I had egg rolls, dumplings , green tea and soup. This was my 2nd time eating there. The first time I ate there was years ago when it first, first opened and ordered the green tea and nowhere else do they serve green tea like this and today the tea was just as awesome as my first time. So delicious! My go-to’s are Green Sea Curry and the House Curry. The Red Devil Curry is also very good. Pick your level according to who is cooking… if grandma is cooking, get a 1… she likes her heat a lot LOL. Otherwise a 2 is plenty enough heat for most palates. My only recommendation for this place is to try to get an online menu, order feature and prices. Otherwise, this place has amazing, authentic, home cooked food that slams every, single time.

Always great food and the staff is super delightful. The yellow curry is my go to and it never dissapoints.

Sorry to say 1st time there, but i will be back. Had the seafood stir fry A+. Curry next time. Very good, great service.

Since moving to Racine six years ago and trying a lot of the local restaurants, Sticky Rice is still our favorite. The service is always great as well.

We love the Pad Thai and the Stir fry Beef with Thai Basil (3 hot). Our family has been monthly regulars for 6 years, and they do it right all the time.
A good restaurant is consistent and is always happy to see their regulars while welcoming new customers. Sticky Rice offers an atmosphere that is authentic and soft on the heart.

Here in Racine we love our traditional home made food, try something different and extremely special if you dare.
Good food knows no borders and they will welcome you as they did us.

My family and I really enjoyed the food here. The service was very welcoming and warm. It's COVID world we're living in so we took our food to go. But the restaurant itself is very spacious! The food was tasty and we'd go back.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I had the Thai Basil stir fry with chicken and it was great. I will have to try another dish on my next visit.

I can’t say enough good things about Sticky Rice Thai. Their food is amazing, the service is great, and the location is wonderful- it’s so nice to be able to appreciate a revitalized downtown Racine after eating here. Their pad Thai is my favorite yet - just the right amount of heat but all delicious. I love coming here to eat!

This is the better of the two restaurants for Pad Thai, but service is declining. Word of advice: Don’t accept the sealed bag with your order without checking it first, or you’ll end up asking for no broccoli and get a marginally edible fried rice loaded with broccoli.

Excellent food but horrible packaging And hence I won't recommend this place. Basil stir fry with brown sauce was packaged in a white box which is used to package rice. All sauce dropped in the plastic bag and the dish was extremely dry. In pandemic situation, it is a big disappointment to come home with such food and spoil one's lunch.

Best Thai Restaurant in the Kenosha/Racine are! I love the Chicken pad thai. The Tom Kha is delicious too!

Great food but please stay open later. 8pm is way to early to close. We usually eat at 8pm

to be honest, the food in this place really just isn't that good. Of course food is a choice that we each make for ourselves, and I know many people who like the food here.

On a scale of 0-3, 0 has absolutely no spice at all and a 1 is so miserably hot that is takes away all flavor from the food and it ended up in the trash - this from a person who typically loves spicy food. Such a frustrating scale. 😕 Presentation for takeout had a bit to be desired as well, but that’s likely still a work in progress......? Will be going elsewhere moving forward unfortunately.
