Relaxed eatery doling out Thai & Pan-Asian favorites, from noodles to curry dishes & stir-fries.
Small, cozy place serving authentic dishes. The wings were great, crunchy outside and nice and juicy inside. Pepper steak was tasty, as was the curry beef.
I ordered beef pepper steak. It told me to choose Amy when I put beef. It said it was a dollar more yet. Chicken is free. How is beef pepper steak beef pepper steak for the same price? Why do you charge extra for the steak. Secondly, I ordered my food to goand I said easy onion, easy green pepper and take a look at the picture. This is what they gave me for $15 after tax. And a small white rice.
To put it short, this place is awesome! This modest Thai restaurant is a little gem hidden in a big city. First off every dish is made to order, and the freshness shows from the golden, perfectly crisp egg roll wraps to the perfectly cooked vegetables in your dish. The flavors are amazing. They have some classic dishes, and their unique take on many familiar dishes insures you will have many favorits to choose from. From the Pho to the savory slightly sweet brown sauce you will not be disappointed. The serving size is perfect, for the price. I have found that anything I have ordered could be split between two leaving no leftovers, or if just for you, you will have lunch for tomorrow. The level of customer service is a rare find in this crazy world today. You will frequently find the owners out on the floor checking on customers, refilling water glasses and serving food right alongside the wait staff. The atmosphere is modern yet with a touch of culture. It is clean, and the tables are promptly cleaned after customers leave. Lovely decorative pieces on the walls and Asian music softly playing adds the authenticity you just might be looking for when dining at a Thai restaurant.
This place is amazing. I have been going here for years off and on. Some of the best carry out Thai food in Milwaukee (and during COVID it was our "thing" to get carry out Thai from a new place every Tuesday). If you ask for extra spicy they can make it with good strong spice.
Scheduled a takeout order. Order wasn't ready when I arrived.
• Beef Pho $12 - Noodles and veggies were packed in separate 5x5 styrafoam container. Broth was dark and cloudy, no pho flavor other than salt which I had to add more water to dilute the saltiness. Thick beef slices that were tough and overcooked.
• Papaya $7 - Came in a small 16oz container, tasted of salt/fish sauce and lime; nothing special about their homemade sauce and didn't come with cabbage either.
• Crispy Squid $8 - Came in the small 5x5 styrafoam container. Very small pieces. Not crispy but the flour texture is comparable to sweet and sour chicken. Not worth the price.
• Ordered the side fried rice $5 and eggrolls $4. Both bland and tasteless.
Overall, overpriced for small portions of tasteless food. First time at the restaurant and most likely will be my last. The prices for the amount of food and the lack of flavor isn't worth it for me.
One of the best and underrated Thai restaurant in the city.
Best customer service hands down. Waitress took care of a full dining room, during a busy lunch hour, by herself without skipping a beat. She is always super sweet, attentive, and quick.
Food is usually consistent here. Good pho, still at a decent price too considering everywhere else is close to $15 for a bowl. Love their pineapple fried rice with shrimp too, paired well the Thai sausage.

Everything was good thank you
The owners are sweet, the food is delicious.
I had the pineapple rice and crispy chili chicken. The pineapple rice was ok, I wish it had more flavor, but the chili chicken was really good. And the thai tea and thai lemonade was good too.
Delicious and the staff was very polite and had great service.
Food is not as good as it has been and portions are much smaller which means it's pretty overpriced

I would go here every day if I lived closer 😊 such a great spot for a girls day. Amazing food.

Everything that I have tried is as excellent as the service! Try the garlic noodles and plum tea or some Pho and green tea or a curry with a Thai iced coffee....nothing will disappoint, from mild to very spicy!
Best pad Thai I have found in Milwaukee!
Wife and I were in the area, and stopped in for some Thai food. Was seated and looked at menu. Placed our order for Appetizer. Main meal and drink. Met the owner, Joy, and had a nice conversation. Happened that my Wife knew her Mother. Great food choices and fully enjoyed our meal. Definitely will stop again for another meal choice.
The place is really nice, but the Pad Thai which I ordered had a very sweet sauce. I still enjoyed it alot. Our server was super nice and it looked wonderful inside. The yellow curry was also great and I recommend this place!
Always so great
I order papaya, pho & bubble tea.
The Papaya was decent & so was the pho. But I had better elsewhere. It wasn’t amazing….
And the Bubble tea was horrible!!! I was so excited to try it but didn’t even drink mine.
Worst bubble tea I ever had. And wasted money.
The customer service was great though. The waitress was kind and helpful. I jus wasn’t in love with the food…
The pad Thai was delicious, except they didn't mention that shrimp was a $4 upcharge. (For like 4 shrimp.) The menu specified that on some other dishes, but not that one and the server never asked.
The volcano chicken was pretty good, too.
Their bubble teas were a good price but certainly not the best ones I've had.
Overall we liked our experience and would return.
Always good food, sometimes the wait is pretty long for pickup. (Usually later than what is said).
I have been coming to Siam Thai for years. Love the food and the staff.
Great service and food.
Been going here ever since it opened. Food is phenomenal. Staff is friendly and sweet, especially the owner Joy. Stop reading this review and place your order now. I recommend the curry fried rice! :)
The food was excellent, loved the spicy beef salad and volcano chicken! Service was outstanding!
Amazing Thai food and just the absolute nicest people working there! 10/10 recommend!
Placed an order for Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) thru Eat Street. Inside was what I picture a Thai restaurant in Thailand would look like with the decor. Lady who works there was nice greeted me when I got there and when I left.
The food was on point, piping hot and spice level was out of this world. I asked for very spicy and since I’m SE Asian. The ingredients tasted fresh and the food is reminiscent to Thai restaurants back home in SoCal. I plan on trying other dishes on my stay here in MKE.
This place is amazing! The serving size is a hearty amount, the food has great flavor, and the employee both on the phone and when I picked up my to-go order were wonderful. I feel like you really get great value for your money here and it's been the best Thai place I've tried so far in Milwaukee. Definitely recommend!
Always delicious food
Loved the food!
Food was great! Service was great too, however; I am use to larger portions. This would be 5 start if I didn’t have to order another entree to fill up. This would still not deter me from coming back. I would put the score at 4.6 not a 4.
Found my new fav Thai restaurant, definitely the best in MKE. Love their pad, Kra Pao!! Recommend
Great food and service!
The food was excellent and the staff was very kind. 10/10!
My new favorite Thai restaurant! The Yum Nua is amazing and super fresh.
My wife and I love the food.
Fave restaurant, we take friends and family all the time. The owner is a real sweetie. Huge choice of dishes and it's always yummy. Highly recommended
We stopped in before going to a Brewers game and so happy we did. The service was gracious and quick. We ordered 3 main dishes and a small soup then ate family style. The Drunken Noodles were the standout for us. The Pad Thai and Singapore Noodles were also very good. The wonton soup was flavored well, and my kids enjoyed it the most. If you're in town for a ball game or VA hospital visit and looking for some great Thai food, this is worth a visit. If you found this review helpful, please give a 👍.
We tried everything. It was all great. If you're into spring rolls, these were magical.
Orderd shrimp frried rice, beef fried rice ad tom yam soup.everything was good. But tom yam soup needed to be improve.
Siam Thai is my favorite local restaurant! Great local restaurant and amazing welcoming staff and owner. The food is just lovely!
Good food and price is good prefect. thank you siam thai
Great restaurant. The food is great with large portions. Don't miss out on this hidden gem. Near Brewer's stadium. Check it out. Great Asian food with a sit down atmosphere.
I love this place! The atmosphere is very lovely. When you first walk in you're met with a lot of thriving plants (including some kumquats!) and a well kept fish tank. The food here is amazing. They make it just right every time - very flavorful and well executed. The green curry is amazing as is their pad thai. Highly recommend the thai coffee. The server there is so kind too, so it hits every mark perfectly!
Siam Thai is my favorite Thai place in the area. They know how to make things spicy, their food tastes delicious (best crab rangoons I've ever had here), and they are super friendly. Given how small the dining room is, I'm surprised it's not full more often. Definitely go here if you want some great Thai food, though!!
We had chicken fried, beef chili garlic noodles, chicken wings and chicken pho. Everything taste great and authentic, and service was great as well
4 stars because we did find a tiny gnat in one of our dishes

Amazing food and friendly service
Great service, great atmosphere, great food, great prices 😀
Best Pad Thai, and everything from Broccoli Beef to Volcano Chicken
And the Corn soup is beyond incredible.
Wish I could them more than 5 Stars
I come to siam thai at least once a week. The whole family works there and are all very nice. The food is very tasty and Joy who works in the front always smiles.
Good food. I liked that they take care of their aquarium fishes and plants.
This is the most enjoyable place to go eat
This little place has great food and service! I have tried numerous dishes and am impressed every single time. I'm happy that the dining room is open. I can order my pot of plum tea and choose something delightful from the menu. I'm content to be sipping my tea in this quaint and charming space while my food is made to order. If you like Thai food, let these lovely people feed you!
Food was good! The curry I got was pretty soupy but it still tasted good! Crab Rangoons were AMAZING
My son got food poisoning from this place! 2 weeks of not being able to eat. He threw up constantly!
Food and service were great. Portions a bit underwhelming.
Overall very good. Nice, simple, clean restaurant. I ordered my food medium hot since I’ve never been here before but could not detect any heat. There seemed to be a sweet undertone to both dishes that were ordered and surprisingly very sweet plum tea. The women waiting tables was a sweetheart. I will definitely go back but will request any sugar used in the sauce to be omitted. Perfect portions and very reasonably priced.
It was clean, and service was prompted and polite. The food was great!! What made it extra special was the chicken. It was lean, and clean chicken. I usually dread getting meats at thai, vietnamese, and chinese restaurants because there's usually tendon, chunks of fat, and other undesirable bits in the dish. While it does at flavor, it completely kills the meal for me. So the fact that the chicken was perfectly cut and lean made my meal.
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had! Fresh, tasty, affordable. I had pad thai with tofu and spring rolls. Woman working was really sweet
This place is fat guy approved! Every single part of my meal was awesome. I had the honey ginger tea. It was the perfect blend of spice and sweet. The crab ragoon and spring rolls were delicious. The spring roll was fresh and light. It felt like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I ordered pho amd yellow curry. The pho was well balanced. The yellow curry was my favorite. I ordered 10x spice. I love hot and spicey food. They definitely delivered on the spice. It was pleasant but not over powering. I will be returning again and again. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.
Fantastic service and great food and speedy will be coming back many more times highly recommend!
The basil fried rice and Thai iced tea was amazing!
Great food, great service! Will definitely recommend this place to others!
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The curry was perfect and the appetizers (wings and egg rolls) were delicious and the perfect portions for 2. We came for pho and it was good, but we'd like to see a pork pho option. The staff was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable and good for a quick date night.
Delicious Thai food and very kind service.
You will not go wrong by having Thai food here. I have been coming here for years and the taste has remained wonderful! I had thai tea boba smoothie and red curry with tofu (medium spicy). The food was delicious. If you have the chance, i would absolutely recommend dining in-person - they are open till 7! You eliminate the need for this small restaurant to pay delivery app fees by coming in-person. The atmosphere is chill and there are a ton of outlets if you want to do work here as well! The prices are also very very reasonable.
Consistently delicious! Owner is so sweet and timing is always prompt for pick up. I am always shocked this place isn’t busier, we LOVE their food and service is awesome. We typically get pad Thai, garlic chili noodles, and pot stickers - spicy and amazing flavors!!
The food here is so delicious, and the service is wonderful. I would highly recommend eating at Siam Thai!
Always good. Great staff
Prepare for mini-food and portions! At the price point for certain items, you’d expect at least a reasonable size for say, egg rolls and crab Rangoons. Instead, you will get tiny bite-size versions of them. The Thai wings tasted like normal chicken wings with a hint of curry powder/cumin? They were also tiny. Ordered the Siam fried rice and they didn’t even fill the take-out carton all the way to the sides. The Pad Thai was the saving grace, pretty good, and a normal-sized portion. Not as good as Sweet Basil though. All in all, the food was “okay” to “good”, but for the price we paid, we wouldn’t make another visit…
Very sweet lady runs this place. Food is delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. A top notch place for lunch/dinner.
I have have eaten the Volcano chicken, Curry fried rice and Chile garlic noodles. All of it was delicious- high quality and nice portion sizes. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I had the volcano chicken #4 spice for a dine in lunch. If your not not into spice stick with a lower number. Great attentive and polite service. I would definitely recommend this place and this dish.
Love the food
I have one of the most wonderful meal ever I had the volcano chicken and it had the most unique flavor

Great Yellow Curry!
Best Thai food in Milwaukee. Employees are so nice and helpful, prices are great and the egg rolls are to die for!
My favorite Thai restaurant in town. The staff are very nice people. Their prices are reasonable and portions are generous. I recommend Pad See Ew (they use the authentic fat noodles, which I love), Siam fried rice, Siam Supreme, and Tom Kha soup. I’ve also tried Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice with shrimps, yellow curry, crispy squid, Thai iced coffee, and egg rolls. All were also very good. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Some photos for reference :)
I've had the "Siam fried rice" and was great and I love the crispy egg rolls. They have an excellent chili powder to put in your food. Family owned place has friendly service🥢🍜🇹🇭
I ordered the red curry. It had the consistency of water, the bamboo chutes were undercooked and still hard, and the side of rice was literally mush from being over cooked. I asked for number 2 spice out of five and it’s insanely hot. Never going back.
Amazing Thai food!!
Hands down the best SE Asian restaurant I have been to in Wi. A small place but clean and well furnished. The flavors are very complex, you can tell someone who care is in charge of the kitchen. I must for anyone who likes spicy! But you can get it without the heat too.
The latest visit was amazing. Try the Pad Se Ew!
This is not a real Thai restaurant cause their Pa Kra Pau is not even close to Thai original Pa Kra Pau. They need to go take a Thai cooking course and bring out Thai Real Dishes. Wasted money on a fake “Pa Kra Pau” (Stireed fried basil leave with ground pork). Would be the first time and last time there.
Really enjoyed our lunch. They were low on staff so I didn't mind the slower wait time. Classic thai papaya salad was refreshing and flavorful and their pho was good. Overall a solid place to dine.
This is my favorite Thai place. I love the dumpling appetizer, always cooked to perfection. The pineapple fried rice is delicious, I never even liked pineapple before coming to Siam! Please come here and enjoy the always hot food, I’ve never had a bad experience and I’ve eaten here more than 15 times in the last 2 years.
Food was tasty, the staff was very friendly!
Nice place and the lady who served us was great. The food is awesome.
Love going to lunch or dinner here, always friendly and always good food...thier tea is fresh homemade and awesomely delicious
Loved this place! the pho was delicious!!! The only thing they did not have was sticky rice. Pho price was roughly $10. We enjoyed the pad Thai, an appetizer, pho and 2 beers total price under $50. Cute little lady that reminded me of my mother with winter boots and an apron was taking our order and serving our food.
The pad Thai was too sweet for me but I think that is how most people like it.
Excited to go back to try more dishes
Incredible pad thai.
Very friendly staff. Only complaint is the booth seating is uncomfortable. Food was delicious, highly recommend their hot teas.
Great food, very nice service.
Favorite Thai restaurant in Milwaukee. Food is always delicious. Portions are good for the price. Customer service is excellent. Recommend you check it out!
I love this place. Chili garlic noodles with shrimp is my go to. Just wish they would allow delivery. Like... How can you run a successful restaurant if there is no delivery in the middle of a pandemic...
The food here is delicious. No problem with special request l love they're Singapore noodles and cashew chicken once you try it you'll be back
A great enjoyable lunch. Fast friendly service. Fantastic fresh spring rolls!
Best Thai!! Very professional
Tom Kha was as tasty as Tom Yam!! 😋
This is the BEST place in Milwaukee if you wanna have some real Thai food.
Pineapple fried rice is also
recommended 😁
I can’t count how many Thai places I’ve been to but this by far has been the best I’ve ever had. Had a large variety of appetizers and entrees and everything was phenomenal - set the standard for a number of my favorite Thai dishes. Service was personable and overall provided for a fantastic experience.
A little gem in Milwaukee's South Side.
Great pho
-Friendly staff
-Clean environment
-Good dishes
Both of our meals were great. Will be coming back !
Slowly making my way through all the items on the menu. Thus far I've enjoyed every dish. Basil rice with meat is delicious. Along with the good food service was fantastic. This is definitely a spot deserving of repeat business.
This is my favorite Thai place is milwaukee, I switch between getting any of the curries(green is my favorite though but it depends on my mood), pad Thai medium spicy- best in town , and the pho and no matter which I get it’s always amazing. The woman who works there is always so sweet and so kind and it makes my day when I talk to her. I also love their thai iced coffee! I recommend this place to everyone who likes thai food. I think it’s reasonably priced.
I did take out so I can’t say how the dining experience is but they provided great service when I got there to pick up my order. The food is delicious, very flavorful. I had the pad Thai and the volcano chicken. The only downside is the price and portion. They are a little bit on the pricy side. Portion is smaller than I expected for a $14 dollar volcano chicken when you compare it to their competitors. Nonetheless I’d reccomend everyone to try it. It could be your next favorite Thai take out.
Good food and wonderful service!
Amazing food at great prices. Try the Pad Thai
Friday night is curry night in our household and Siam is our go to!
Good food and service! I've finally found my favorite entrees made right just the way I like it.
Friendly staff, and quality ingredients! Had the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. The pad Thai is a little different than most styles of dishes I’ve tried and it’s actually so good. The crispy spring rolls are perfect. Curries are also delicious!
Always good
I enjoyed the pad Thai very much, I thought It was delicious and well made. Also, we ordered online and it was all accurately made to the order and made quickly. We didn’t wait long. No indoor dining but inside was cute interior, good nice and professional staff.
This is my go to restaurant for curry and bubble tea. Always delicious, always hot, always worth it and the staff is wonderful an keeps me coming back.
Super yummy food, great variety, really friendly service. It's our favorite! Definitely recommend!
Their yellow curry is to die for!! All their food is great, its quick, and easy on the budget, too.
Best thai food in MKE!
Excellent Thai Food
Joy is a sweet & helpful employee at the restaurant
This is my first visit & they will be a frequent guest there
Delicious!
Never disappointed by the food, the pad Thai, yellow curry, fried rice, pho and the best spring rolls. Everyone is so kind and smiling and enthusiastic, worth every penny, and 20% tip every time. 10/10 will go as often as I can and recommend to anyone who likes Thai food.
I went to Thailand for two weeks in 2015 and this is the most authentic I have found in Milwaukee, IMO. The portion sizes are generous and the flavor is fantastic. Can't wait to do take-out again!
Flavorful, yummy food with generous portions! The best Thai food in town! Frequent customer here!
An extremely pleasant host and she would remember your spice levels and preferences for future orders. She treats her customers as family.
Highly recommend this place..
Food is always fresh tasting and sooo good. Frequent customer for sure! Staff are awesome! TY for working. I get cravings for your wonderful food.
Amazing food and service! This is our first time ordering from Siam as we are new to the area. We got the pad thai, chili garlic noodles, and chicken wings. WOW!!! Our food was delicious! I have tired several Thai restaurants in MKE and nothing compares to this! I'm so excited to have finally found a place that serves amazing pad thai. They were so friendly and the service was extremely fast. We got our food on time and they brought it over promptly for curbside pickup.
I 100% recommend you try this restaurant! I'll definitely be back for more!
Good food, kind service.
The best Thai in the city! I have been going here for years and it never dissapoints, the food is delicious & the portions are generous, best of all, the service. The owner is literally a JOY! She is so kind & wonderful & treats her customers like family. Highly recommend!
Best Thai in Milwaukee. Owner operated and they take extreme pride in what they do. Get this a couple times a month. Always love the Chicken Pad Thai. I get level 2 but it is pretty hot. My boyfriend takes level 4, no idea how!
Favorite place to eat Asian food whenever I’m in Milwaukee. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is amazingly yummy! Highly recommend.
Excellent service! Very easy curbside pickup tonight and the food was excellent! The person who brought my food was so kind and appreciative. I’ve been going to Siam Express since it opened and it is always excellent
Good food, even late at night. The portions were ample.
Ordered the Pad See Ew from Siam as a recommendation of some folks at work - easy to call and order, food was ready when they told me it would be, and it was very good! Great noodle texture, it’s all about the noodles!
Good food, great atmosphere, great location, great service. We will be back!
Food is great, service is friendly. Eat well, be happy!
Awesome food. Very consistent.
Always get pad Thai with shrimp
Great food! Is now my new go to for take out! Also friendly delivery service.
Great Thai food and friendly service. It is a go-to for dine-in or carry-out.
Excellent Thai selections. Brought me back to the food I remember when in Thailand.
Large portions & best Smoothies ever.
Asked for spicy, got spicy! Most places think white men can't take it. Glad I stopped here. I will be back!
I've yet to find a better Thai restaurant in Milwaukee, from Phó to Curry to Khao Phoon. Every time I leave feeling like it was an experience. Oh and their Teas are nothing to scoff at either.
Exquisite Thai Tea and Food! Service was outstanding
We eat here twice a month. It's the best in town!
Great food and service!
