Great Fried Rice, will be back.

Diner Review №3

My sister's took me to this place for my birthday last year and it was horrible. We waited almost an hour before our food was brought out. The pho was watery and had no flavor! The papaya looked like it had been sitting on the counter for a while. The laab meat looked like it had been blanched, flavorless, and overcrowded with onions. We left there determined not to return. I was craving laab, so I thought I would give this place one more try. I should've known better. Same thing! On the way back to work with the laab in a container and bag, my entire car smelled as if I had been peeling and chopping onions in my car. Every bite was nothing but onions. I finally removed all of the onions. I ended up tossing it away. Maybe the onions used are just that pungent!

I keep coming back as everything on the menu is so good.

Absolutely great food! Would highly recommend if you have not tried it! Service was great!

Diner Review №10

Basic atmosphere, but excellent food and service.

Diner Review №11

The curries we ordered were super watery and super bland. No flavors at all. Drunken noodles were not good either. We didn’t enjoy the food.

Simple and dated decor, but clean with Thai music playing over speakers. Food was absolutely delicious, and attractively presented. Average prices for the area, with generous portions. The egg drop soup was especially good - flavorful and full-bodied. Very small staff, and freshly prepared food could result in a wait, but well worth it.

Diner Review №16

The Pho broth just like plain salted water with minimal meats even though i ordered 2 of the special combination. Not worth the $11 dollar at all. I couldnt finish it. The Pad See Eel, it was okay. I never have Pad see Eel with broccolin
It's usually stir fried thai collard green with handmade thin noodles, but these was the dried store brought thin noodles instead so it didnt taste as good. Boba tea is good but they could've uses more of the flavors power because all I tasted was sugar and no flavor.

This place is amazing I've never had Thai food so good before, and when you order it they always ask you what spice level you want, which is always a great thing I do medium I like things spicy now is just enough for me! The service was excellent she came got my order right away, and it came out almost on fire hot! and very quick and when I tasted it it was unbelievable! Portions were very big too so I had meal for the next day and it seemed like it tasted better the next day somehow... Can't wait to be around there and go back again try something different!

There is 100 people from my team that are visiting this town. One of the guys recommended this place. Said the food was amazing. I do not doubt it was for them but my food experience was the totally opposite. My food presentation was AWFUL. I called 3 minutes before they closed and asked if it was too late to place a to go order. I was told no and so I ordered a Masaman Curry with tofu and chicken and extra rice. The food was so bad I literally had to throw it away. I guess they didn’t want to do the full process in making my food so they deep fried some potatoes or maybe pan fried them. By the way the potatoes looked drenched in oil. Secondly who makes a Thai curry dish with fried potatoes. Smh. To make matters worse they filled my entire container with fried potatoes and there was barely any sauce. My gosh Thai curry is all about the sauce. The sauce looked like it was basically old sauce and they added a bunch of oil. It just looked awful. Tons of peanuts was thrown in my dish and barely any tofu and vegetables. I mean this was the worst Thai curry I have ever tasted. I really feel that this place can cook far much better but because they were anxious to close they made something up. This place gets a 1 star. I even tipped the restaurant for being generous to stay open a few minutes for my food. Smh I wish I had a better food experience. I’m hungry with no food now just sad. Yea

Diner Review №34

Another Thai restaurant has won my heart again. I am usually very skeptical about Asian restaurants in the suburbs. Most times you get a watered down version of the food.

This was beautiful made, large potion, spicy ( I love my Spicy) and most importantly tasty. You will not be disappointed.

Diner Review №35

They skimped on the boba which was completely rock hard and uncooked.

Diner Review №36

I have never had a bad meal from Vue. Awesome, tasty, delicious food. Efficient service and friendly staff. Don't let the dated lobby fool you, your meals will be great.

Diner Review №37

Really good food

Diner Review №38

Great food, great price, big portions. You can pick your spice level which is perfect.

Diner Review №39

Place is very plain in decor. Got our meal before our appetizer. Meal itself left no lasting impression. It was ok. Ingredients seemed fresh. Could have used better seasoning blend to bring out flavors better.

Diner Review №40

Perfect! The food was super tasty...the soup, fresh rolls, and Dang Gang were all great. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Service was quick and friendly. Food was very good. Food can be served very hot and spicy so remember to ask for your desired temperature. Daily specials are a great value. Either way you get a lot of food for the price. Definitely recommend checking them out and giving them a try.

Diner Review №69

Traveling for fun along the Eastside of the state. My brother, son, and I were quite excited to see a Thai restaurant. Looking at the overall Google reviews, this was a fantastic option. Excited to try the pho and fried rice we stopped in. First reaction, ........Ok.......where is the dinning area and where is the wait staff??? After hanging around for a few minutes a young waitress comes and asks, "How many"? Umm....3, just 3, the 3 that have been standing here, in an empty bar room, for the last 5 mins. We were brought back into the dining area and the ambience was a little off. Dimlit dinning area, gave you the feel of a bar slash, 60s American diner slash, asain diner with booths kind of feel. Very unique, all was fine and dandy, but as we sat there and got settled in, the music is what really through me for a loop, country,.....country music in a Thai restaurant, who'd have thought. I would have rather had no music at all but I digress. We're not here for the atmosphere! We're here for the food. So I proceeded to order 3 large pho, one fried rice with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Service was good, food came out pretty quickly. Fried rice was unique! Enjoyed the smokey flavor. This restaurant has true authentic Asian spice levels. When you try medium hot, its hot! Very nice. The pho we ordered was not bad. The serving size is quite small though. I ordered 3 large with extra noodles, extra meat. What we got was a regular large bowl at most pho restaurants. The noodles were perfect! The broth, a little salty, but aromatic was well balanced. They served it with lemon slices and jalapeños. I thought that was a little awkward. I ask our waitress for some bean sprouts, basil, and lime instead of the lemon. I was promptly informed. "We are out". How do you run out of condiments for pho at 6 in the evening? We ate our meal and the tab was brought out to us. When I saw the bill, my mouth hit the floor. 3 phos and a fried rice $80. Not sure if I did the math right but, in what world is 3 bowls of pho and 1 fried rice $80? The meats in the pho was not kobe beef. What cost so much? On top of that they didn't even have everything with my meal. I am all about supporting small family owned restaurants. My hopes were so high for this place and it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great! I don't want people to avoid coming here and an honest review needs to be made. I am just sharing my experience. So in conculsion, for those that say the price is fair, you need to travel a little more. Fried rice generally $8. Pho generally $10. For those that say this is the greatest food, you need to expand your palette. This was a clash of Chinese, Hmong, Vietnamese, and Asian American cultures. As far as authentic, the spice is right. In your mouth and in your wallet. Being the only Thai restaurant in the area.......Come and try, if you want, but don't do it because of the raving reviews, you will be let down. I am truly sorry for my experience here. Hope this helps other travelers.

Diner Review №72

Great food and great portion sizes!

Diner Review №73

I thought I give this place another try but sadly I won’t be ordering from them again. My Pad Thai have super soggy noodles and I’m wondering why? How can you go wrong with noodles for Pad Thai? My Papaya looks like it’s been sitting for a day, doesn’t look fresh. Looks more brown and Beans look old and wrinkly. They are not that good as they say. It’s mediocre food. If you want something that is ok then Vue’s Thai restaurant is to go. Otherwise take your money elsewhere for something better. Rather travel to another city or state for better Thai food.

Diner Review №110

As we like trying new restaurants; and have been seeking decent Thai food for some time now, we ventured into Vue's. The first thing you notice is the place is kind of third world in its decor and settings. But well worn buildings don't faze us at all. Just watch that step. This place is advertised as "vegetarian friendly". We were disappointed that both soups had chicken in them; but our friendly and helpful waitress told us the Tom Yum soup could be made without the ubiquitous bird. The soup was spicy and flavorful. I ordered a dish with white rice and veggies with well browned tofu. My wife ordered a noodle dish. You can order mild, medium, or hot. Having learned caution earlier in life, we chose medium. It had a good heat to it, but next time we will order hot. The "crab" rangoon and veggie eggrolls were perfect appetizers. They were really good. The portions of our meals were prodigious. I would suggest that if you have appetizers, you split an entree. Otherwise you will be eating your order for the next day. The lass waiting on us was perky and really seemed like she wanted us to have a good experience. The food was very tasty; and we enjoyed our meals quite a bit. Both of us are very sensitive to MSG. My wife thought she had a mild reaction. I didn't. So I will ask them, point blank, next time we go here.
Real Thai food is a treat to find. We found it here. The food and service were really good. Use real crab meat in the Rangoons and use brown rice; and you'll get that 5th star. Don't be put off by the shabbiness of the place. Get yourself here for some good vittles. You will thank me for telling you about this place.

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №119

Great food

Diner Review №120

Great taste service

Diner Review №121

Delicious food, very authentic. Thai food is my favorite. I have eaten at Thai restaurants in major cities around the country, including Chicago and Houston. Vue's food was some of the best Thai I've ever had. Everything was made fresh, not frozen. I'm not even a big fan of egg rolls but Vue's home made egg rolls made me a fan of theirs. My catfish curry was uh-mazing. My family members enjoyed their dishes very much too.

This is a family owned and operated business. The service by co-owner Frank was top notch. He was very helpful about making recommendations. He accommodated our request to modify which sauce came with our dishes and he ensured our dishes were as spicy (or mild) as requested.

I'm in town visiting family and if I had my way, I/we would eat at Vue's every day as long as I'm here. This is by far the best food I've ever had in Manitowoc. For anyone looking for a change of pace from the usual Manty food fare - give Vue's Thai Restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed. :)

Diner Review №122

We stopped here in our way home from Door County, with high expectations given the reviews. My husband said his fish (a special of the day) was okay and the sauce was really good. I was very excited to try Pad Almond and was expecting a dish with, well, almonds. It's in the title and says it contains almonds in the description. Sadly, the only almonds were a few pieces of Fisher-type sliced almonds garnishing the dish. Sooo disappointing. Our server was very nice so I couldn't bring myself to point out the glaring omission; wish I would have. Decor and ambience are drab; no background music makes the room seem even more dreary.

Diner Review №123

Visited for the first time. Easy ordering from the menu. Server was very friendly and answered questions. Main dishes were served after Hot and Sour Soup was brought to the table. Sweetened Thai tea is very sweet but DELICIOUS. We ordered 3 main dishes and had enough to bring home as leftovers. We definitely will go back again. Parking available on the side of the building.
