Easygoing eatery with low-key decor plating a range of traditional, regional Thai specialties.
The dine in experience felt disposable from plastic utensils, paper plate, and dish served in takeout containers. They don’t serve free tap water which sounds really cheap. I had the basil duck. There were probably 15 pieces of sliced duck breast. Few vegetables and a lot of goopy sauce. I hate goopy sauce. Foods in goopy sauce screams lazy cooking. Everything about this place tells me the owner doesn’t want to give patrons a good dining experience. All they care about is how low can they go to get few people to fund their budget.
What they should do is get rid of the dine in and everything as takeout. They can cut the unnecessary staffing, since they don’t need to clean the eating area or clean the restroom. Send their cook to cooking class and learn to make some great meals
I've tried just about all of the curry on the menu and it is great. I am pretty much addicted to their panang curry, it's incredible, level 5 spice and it is absurdly hot, as it should be imo 🙏🏻. T
Prices are great and they always have the food ready extremely fast, I'm talking 10 minutes for pick up every single time no matter what time of day. I've never had a bad experience and they always are very nice. 11/10 would recommend.
Mediocre thai restaurant serves food in a take out box.
We went 40-45 mins before closing but they were just not interested in serving us.
The garlic shrimp was basic . The vegetable curries were decent but not the best .
Overall an okay restaurant. Go here if you don’t have any options around
Very welcoming and funny staff, they are very kind and helpful. Tom Yum soup was good here so I had to go and eat it 3days in a row. It doesn't come with rice but you can buy it on the side and the flavor is worth it, with a side of chilli powder flakes. Well done Pimmy's.
The customer service here was amazing. The lady who took our order was such a sweetheart. She let us customize our orders with the thick noodles and brought us plates, chop sticks, forks, straws, napkins and even a moist towelette.

Yes, this is just a small place in a little strip mall, but it has some of the freshest, tastiest Thai food I have had. That's why we drove from Milwaukee for takeout! Large portions, inexpensive & excellent service. If you're looking for an upscale location, this is not for you, but if you want delicious food, this is the place!
Pimmy's is an amazing place to dine in or take out! I have now been there over a few dozen times in the last year and have never been disappointed. Everything I have had is excellent and beyond my expectations. The people are there are even as amazing and take pride in their service.
It was very disappointing. It used to be great but when I picked up my order yesterday the portions were les the half of previous orders. I didn't mind that the price went up, but this was bad. It is bad that you are still hungry after dinner.

We saw the high reviews and tried a take-out from this place. We were so disappointed with the Garlic noodles.
It was as if pre-cooked Noodles put in box and then added vegetables and meat on it. The noodles was all white and there was no flavor. Just like cooling noodles separately and adding it to the togo contrainer
Spicy means spicy. Love it!
Best curry in Kenosha!
So so good, had surgery yesterday all i wanted when i woke up was pimmys. Always nice, love the tofu pad thai.
Great Food and Drinks, I love getting the soups and any of the appetizers. The Pad Se Ewe is my favorite and great beef and chicken dishes.
The food here has been consistently great for years. The people are very friendly, despite the strange service style.

OMG This place is amazing.. Hands down the best Rama Chicken I have EVER had. And the Chicken Skewers did not disappoint. If there is 1 thing you do in Kenosha....its eat here! #givethatcookaraise
Great hospitality and customer service by Pimmy and her staff.
Great food, they need to get back to serving on a real plates with real silverware and chopstix!
Amazing & Authentic Thai Food! This is the real deal.
I love this place!!! Pimmy cooked the first duck curry I ever had and I’ve yet to find one that competes, the pad Thai is soooo good as well!! Seriously, they’ve never disappointed me. The staff is very nice and sweet but also so is Pimmy so I gladly support this small business.
Awesome place. Fantastic vegan options and every employee is always very kind. Definitely recommend!

Over the last few years Pimmy’s has become a staple in our routine and we (and our neighbors) order from them frequently. I can’t quite figure out how they are consistently so good - they never miss!
Ordered chicken pad Thai with extra chicken. And the chicken was dry. It was like jerky. I order the same thing and it's usually never dry but this time it was. Also my pad Thai looked different than usual color wise.
We ordered the pepper steak, crab rangoons, Thai iced tea and Thai fried rice with chicken. Everything was amazing, taste was amazing I couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. Will definitely make this one of my new fave places to eat so many other things on the menu look so good and I can't wait to try
Update: No longer the only place in Kenosha for Thai food. Food here is no longer consistent and smaller portions for the price. Service is still good and quick.
Good place for Thai food. The only Thai restaurant in town.
We got supper delivered all the way to Salem Lakes tonight via Grub Hub and everything was SOOOO good. We checked reviews and saw that everyone suggested the Panang Curry, and the crowd is right! It was fantastic! We also loved the Pot Stickers, Pad Thai, and the Crab Rangoons. Yummy! This was our first time trying, and will
Now definitely be coming in for our next visit. :)
The Tom Kha soup here is the best I’ve ever had. We stumbled across this place after trying to go another place that had an hour wait. This is a phenomenal Thai restaurant and everything we ordered was delicious.
Pimmys Thai Food is like your friend who always promises an adventure and actually delivers. Their pad Thai will make you question if all other versions are just sad imitations. The green curry? It’s so perfectly balanced, you might think the chef has a secret spice wizardry lab in the back. And let’s not forget the spring rolls—they’re so crispy, they could probably double as a noise-canceling device. If you haven’t tried Pimmys, you’re missing out on a flavor fiesta that might just make your taste buds throw a party. Just be prepared: after one bite, your boring takeout days are officially over.
Very strange experience. I had to order online even for dine in. They gave me paper plates and plastic silverware and made us pay for water alongside our sodas when the food was a little too spicy and we needed more to drink. The food was good but the atmosphere was terrible. Not a dine in type of restaurant anymore. They seem to only cater to take out.
I've tried just about all of the curry on the menu and it is great. I am pretty much addicted to their panang curry, it's incredible, level 5 spice and it is absurdly hot, as it should be imo 🙏🏻. T

This restaurant is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The service is spectacular. I love the beef pad Thai best but I've had so many delicious things from here. The team is kind, knowledgeable, and always has time to walk you through the menu. If you are unfamiliar Thai cuisine this is the best place to learn more and fall in love with it!
Pimmy's was awesome. My daughter and I had not seen each other for several years. (She's in IL & I'm in FL)
I came to Kenosha Wisconsin to sell my house there, and she drove up from IL to have lunch with me. We met at noon and sat and talked until 9 pm when they closed. They were so accominating. Customers came and went, but they didn't need our seating. The food was fresh, served hot, and was very delicious. I had eaten there another time and was not disappointed either time. The staff was awesome, too. I highly recommend trying them.
Thank you, Pimmy's
Good food, tiny hole in wall but very clean and nice people. The garlic noodles were great. And the Thai iced tea wasn’t too sweet, just perfect.
The service is awesome. I accidentally ordered twice and noticed it when I hit ok. It was made right without any issues. The food is AMAZING!
This is an order at the counter style restaurant with such friendly staff and helpful service. The food was SO GOOD! We came in with a party of 5 and had a table right away, ordered at the counter yet and they brought the food over to us. I had the Basil Chicken and will be getting it again.
Pimmy's is the best Thai in Kenosha hands down. The restaurant itself is partial service, which is fine, but when I was there, the AC was down or off, which made dining in less than comfortable. It's a very pretty restaurant though, feels like a well-presented, family owned restaurant. My only complaint was the temperature, which is a shame, because it otherwise felt like a much pricier restaurant. The food though is amazing, I've been ordering delivery from them for years, and I've never found anything on their menu I didn't enjoy.
Mediocre thai restaurant serves food in a take out box.
We went 40-45 mins before closing but they were just not interested in serving us.
The garlic shrimp was basic . The vegetable curries were decent but not the best .
Overall an okay restaurant. Go here if you don’t have any options around
Delicious authentic Thai food, like I was back in Bangkok.
Great ground basil chicken!
Excellent
Food was ready incredibly fast and the crab Ragoon was great. However there was trash on a number of tables. I ordered scallops, and received a meal with only four scallops in it. Same thing went with the shrimp.
I LOVE PIMMYS. One of the best restaurants in Kenosha. The staff is always kind & friendly. & the food is always delicious & consistent. I love that you can say what spice level you want & they are never shy with the spice. My go to restaurant if you don’t want to be disappointed with what you are going to eat. Everything is so good & fresh.
My new favorite place for pad see ew!
Food is great. Atmosphere and service was awkward compared to other Thai restaurants.
Very fresh ingredients cooked and / or prepared perfectly. Set up for takeout but no "official" table service, yet they will bring food, drinks, and utensils to your table. Too much food? Not an issue, your food is served in takeaway containers. Service exceptional.
Good food. This time the beef was a bit dry, wasn't last time. Maybe the chef was having a bad day. 🤷♀️. Their Tom Kha is pretty tasty, and I really enjoy the tofu satay with the sweet and sour. Priced a bit high for some items... but I can't say that's entirely their fault.
Food amazing , service is spectacular. They have a huge variety of curry.
Always a great meal!
I enjoy the chicken Pad Thai. They have it ready incredibly fast even at peak hours.
Kind and positive staff. Each dish had plenty of chosen protein and was well seasoned.
Not only are the owners of Pimmy's kind, in the last 6yrs I have been ordering (2-3x a month) from them, they have never messed up a single order or forgot items. You can tell the food is fresh and made with care. I have yet to try anything that I didn't like on their menu. I highly recommend their Thai Pepper Steak, Pad Thai, Tom Kah Soup, Crazy Spicey Noodles, Crab Rangoon and Satay Chicken w/ peanut sauce!
I love everything I got here.. The food is great
Great pad Thai! Authentic flavors!
Good food I had the Tom Kah soup I'm usally a "ah yes chicken tenders" at the restaurant kind of person but it was really good as well as their pit stickers
Spicey Tom Yum soup is excellent and quick (and the spicier it is, the quicker you'll get over whatever creeping crud you have going on in your chest that day (just sayin, that stuff should require a perscription it is so good!)
Authentic, fresh, delicious, flavorful food!
I've been here several times and every time I have a great meal! Highly recommend!
They were awesome and super sweet. We stayed till close and they were personable and pleasant. Definitely coming back. The food was bomb and we got a spice level of 2 and it was spot on!!
I've been a customer of Pimmy's for about 4-5 years. I love their food, crab rangoon, duck curry, Rama chicken, my favorites. The staff is usually very friendly. I dined in a few times, pre-pandemic, but usually get take out. I see a lot of complaints on here about not being able to dine in or getting paper plates and take out boxes while dining in. Maybe they're trying to keep prices lower or going through some hard times now. Prices have gone up due to the pandemic. Also it's harder to get help. This is the best Asian place in this area. Like someone mentioned, other places aren't that great. I hope they stay.
Excellent authentic Thai cuisine!
Amazing authentic food! Great service, clean restaurant, will definitely be back.
The best. Been going here for 8 years. Been around the block and world. They are the best. If you don’t like it. You don’t know what your talking about.
Very delicious and fresh food. I was hesitant to try because it’s in Kenosha, but it exceeded my expectations by far. Definitely will be back!
Food was decent but totally killed it for me serving it in to-go boxes while dining in. Would not go in person again which I think is what the restaurant is hinting at. More profitable just racking up on Door Dash orders. I like my spicy green curry in a big bowl with a beer in a frozen glass, not a flimsy, plastic to-go container. No beer, plastic 8 ounce cups of water, cheap paper plates, plastic utensils, no table service. They should not offer dine in or at least let you know it’s not real.
It’s a very clean dining area every time I come here, smells great, and the restroom is always immaculate.
Great tasting food, excellent customer service with a smile, very affordable and large portions (so make sure you’re sharing or bring your appetite) make this Thai takeout spot a go to in the Tinseltown-Kenosha area.
I recommend the Pad Thai with chicken for first timers and the spicy basil rice with chicken, or the yellow curry with shrimp. Duck red curry is my favorite!
Great food and very clean.
We went for dinner couple of days ago. The weather was bad so there were no other guests. Few things didn’t feel right and that’s why this low rating.
Service - we were greeted properly but the reason for not providing full service was there were no guests. Kinda weird but we went along with that. Even though we said we are dining in, we were given paper plates and the food came in take out boxes.
Three out of fours dishes didn’t taste good. Chicken in chicken satay was very chewy. I had Massamun curry with chicken. That was both good either.
I would not recommend this place.
the food was disgusting , i ordered garlic noodles with shrimp which was supposed to be garlicy and sweet but it was just galicy. not to mention all my noodles were congealed and swimming in the sauce. my boyfriends food was nasty too we just threw it all in the trash. wasted $43
The cashew chicken is to die for. Hands down one of the best Asian plates I've ever eaten. They forgot my crab rangoon but they were very polite about it and righted the wrong.
Very ✌️ peaceful atmosphere.
Best Pad Thai!!
Food is always great (love the duck red curry!) I can only go to spicy level 3 but I’ll work my way up!
The food was delicious, fresh, and legit.
I'm a first-time customer and moved out here in 2022.
Hard-working staff, who bust their arses in the kitchen. I immediately saw great staff communication (from my viewpoint) upon picking up my order. And honestly, the most delicious Thai iced tea I've ever had in Kenosha.
The only issue is there were 2 medium length black hairs in my curry. As a person who has worked in kitchens as well as the service industry, I get it, rules slip when things get insanely busy, and you have a million different things getting to at once. I'm not going to freak out. I just hope next time I get food there, they wear hair nets, as I really really want to try the curry fried rice.
I have never had a bad experience or meal from Pimmy’s in all my years of eating at this restaurant. The workers are extremely sweet and helpful and I’ve never been able to find a pad see ew that rivals the one served here. I will come back again and again!
We’re vegetarians, and they served us MEAT. We’ve ordered to-go and delivery from them many times, and sometimes they give us the wrong items or not everything we order, but today’s order was another level of wrong. We ordered two yellow curries with tofu, and a Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Tofu. What showed up was two identical orders of some sort of greyish slop with MEAT, and even the fried rice dish had meat in it, along with the tofu! I don’t know how they messed up this badly, but you cannot serve meat to vegetarians. This is the last time we order from here, this is just unacceptable, and now we’re having problems trying to get a refund.
I’ve been all over the country enjoying Thai food and I’m so impressed with this place. It tastes better than the popular Thai restaurants in LA. I was not sure what to expect considering this is this Midwest and a small town. I’m so glad the reviews were not hype. Everything is fresh, made to order, and has adequate amounts of meat. The lady working the counter was very friendly and gave tips on how to order. I was able to get my daughter fried rice without onions (which she hates) and she ended up thrilled with her food. If you want amazing Thai food, a nice atmosphere, and friendly service go here. It will not disappoint.
Enjoyed lunch here today. Wevordered the Panang Curry, mixed Vegetables w/chicken, egg rolls, crab ragoons, and vegetable dumplings.
My order was rescheduled for three days later bc they closed before they would take my order, even online. After waiting for them to reopen I was refused my right to service since their website was doordash... I'm out 53.00 and no food. Don't trust thier online ordering
The customer service here was amazing. The lady who took our order was such a sweetheart. She let us customize our orders with the thick noodles and brought us plates, chop sticks, forks, straws, napkins and even a moist towelette.
The food was also great. I had the gralic noodles with shrimp and the thin noodles substituted for the thick ones and my boyfriend is a vegan so the lady who took our order customized his to be the thick noodles with lots of vegetables.
We also had 2 order of dumplings. I had the Thai dumplings half deep fried half steamed while the bf had the vegetable dumplings also half deep fried and half steamed.
Delicious food. Great service. Cute and quaint dining area
One of my favorite places. Great Tom Kha. Fantastic Spicy Basil. Amazing curries. Highly recommend.
Great variety of Asian dishes. Always love their pai Thai and crab rangoon
Nice place for Thai in Kenosha
Delicious food, friendly staff. Will definitely be back
❌ This place is different than years ago. Now look like Laos people take over. The foods are horrible, so bad can't finish eat this junks. They don't know how to cook but want to open a restaurant .... especially a Thai Cuisine which reqired much more skill to cook. ❌ Those good rate are from many years ago. New good rate are faked from friends and relatives. Everything here are bad ... Food , Paper Plate and No Services at all should be .. " 0 " .. rate. Good business stay open from repeat customers and this place doesn't know that. This place totally BAD on everything they do. How long can stay open ...?! .... ❌ ... ห่วยมาก อาหาร บริการ แย่ที่สุดในประเทศ ..... !!!... ❌❌❌
...
Very nice staff
so good! staff was so nice and friendly. best thai coffee and tea around!
Wonderful place! Great service (Kenny). Parang curry and Pad Sae Ewe were amazingly delicious. Thai tea and coffee were both delightful. Can’t go wrong!
Really good food, but today we ate inside and you use an app now to order (which charges a fee-plus requests a tip) and then you are served your food in take out containers and paper plates. No water was served and drinks aren’t on the menu. I imagined this might be a new process but I now see reviews from two months ago saying the same thing so I would not choose to go there in person. just order to go.
This restaurant is fantastic. Unique and delicious. My “go to” when we decide not to make dinner and take out.
Thai food made by beautiful Lao people. I’ve spent many years in Thailand so I’m familiar with Thai food. This is as close to authentic that you can get in this area.
However it’s not for me. Lao people prefer strong sour flavors. I like more of a balance of sweet and sour when it comes to Thai dishes.
Y’all need to focus more on quality control and standardizing a little more.
Get some comment cards on the food and improve your dishes. Y’all could really have a great restaurant if you focused more on local tastes.
Why not try some authentic lao dishes ? I’m sure the quality and taste will be much better.
I absolutely loved meeting the staff. They can speak Thai if you’d like but north eastern Thai is typically spoken with Lao people.
Great food staff is friendly orders are out quick
I was super skeptical to try this place after reading the most recent reviews. Thai food is my absolute favorite Asian food so I have high expectations whenever I go to any Thai restaurants. As a side note, we are new to the area and honestly, have been disappointed and underwhelmed by the Asian food scene in general. My husband and I love pho and we have been disappointed at both places we tried. So, when I read the reviews on Pimmy’s, I did not have high hopes because we’ve already been having subpar Asian food around here in general lol. But, we decided to take a risk and try it anyway and….. I was PLEASANTLY surprised at how good our food was!! My staples at any Thai restaurant I go to are red curry and pad see ew. I’ll admit that I’ve had better red curry, but Pimmy’s red curry was not bad. I’d give it a 4/5. Now, the pad see ew was delicious though! My husband also ordered one of the mussel dishes and he really liked it. Me..not so much but again it wasn’t bad. I can’t speak for the other dishes but the red curry and especially pad see ew are worth it. We plan to order again in the future and hopefully the food is consistent! We did not dine in. We ordered take out.
I love providing a good review but in this case, I can’t. Forget the fact that they don’t have table service and the plastic and all—the Panang Curry, which is our favorite, has been terrible the last few visits. We enjoy Thai food and really want Pimmy’s to succeed but they aren’t getting this dish right at all. The issue is that it has the consistency of a curry with a cup of hot water thrown in at the end. I don’t understand it. It doesn’t hold up to any other curry I’ve had anywhere. It tastes like someone forgot the recipe. Maybe we will check in again in a few months, but maybe we are done.
The food is not bad but some things were weird. If you dine in they don’t give you water you have to pay for it and everything is plastic. I asked to switch a bottle water to a soda and the girl working made me dig for a dime for the difference in price. Like It was not that serious.
I’m Thai and I could say this is the best Thai restaurant I have in America, nice service and the owner is very nice.
Best tea ever!
Garlic noodles and curry so good. Always hits the spot. Take out isn't as good as when it was in restaurant but always worth it.
The food is mediocre/fine, trying to get something close to an old restaurant I loved but they REFUSED, downright REFUSED, to provide my young children with TAP water on a 90 degree day. Bottled water is h environmentally a nightmare and a restaurant not even giving tap water, free or not, is insane - especially when it is CLEAN city water. Want to leave a good review, can’t. We actually were so hard refused that we went home to eat and don’t really want to support a business that refuses even cheap tap water… whatever. What a way to lose business. 🤷🏻♀️ Cute little place inside.
One of my favorites in the area for good and quick Thai. Love their pad Thai noodles. Friendly service.
Got a very wrong impression by the ratings. First disappointment was that it wasn’t a restaurant but a Carryout place where food is served in paper plates and plastic silverware.
Then the food was below average as compared to other thai places we have had. Chicken satay was horrible and so was pad Thai. Rice provided was under cooked and unhygienic. So surprised that the rating is so high. May by I went at wrong time.
The wonton soup lacked flavor. Not many wontons, too many vegetables.
The pad Thai was good.
First of all,I just want to say that Pimmy's was clean and the staff was kind and friendly. Also, you can smell the delicious food as you walk in.
However, this was our 2nd time to Pimmy's and it was not a good experience. We wanted to give Pimmy the benefit of the doubt that maybe our first time was just a fluke. Thai cuisine is one of our favorites, so we wanted to try Pimmy's. The first time we visited, we ordered Pad Thai and a Curry dish, and to be frank, it did not meet expectations. Pad Thai was super sticky, had no meat, and was drenched in the sauce. The curry was super sweet, contained all sweet peas, but no meat. Thai curry is known for their coconut based ingredient, but there was definitely no coconut in the base at all. We should have listened to our gut feeling and not give it a second time but because our friends were telling us to try a few new dishes, we did.
The second time around, we ordered the Larb Nue, Basil ground beef over rice, spicy crazy noodles. Again, it did not meet expectations. The Larb Nue main ingredient is beef, but all i saw and tasted was ground pork. You can also smell the pork scent to this. I've had larb in the past and it's more of a cold salad dish. However, it was super sour. They over did it with the lemon and fish sauce. The basil ground beef, it was also over done with fish sauce. The spicy crazy noodles was all noodles, not much meat at all and no basil leaf. It was just noodles drench in sauce.
This was all a disappointment. Pimmy's has failed to give a authentic Thai cuisine experience.
We were also told we can dine in but with no server. We had the choice to order at the front desk and they will bring out our food in takeout containers. While we were waiting for our food, a lady behind the front desk brought out paper plates and spoons out to a family who wanted to "dine in". After I saw that, I decided immediately we are going home to eat. There is no point to eat on paper plates here at the restaurant. If you give the options for customers to dine in, and hand paper plates and plastic spoons, its time to just remove that option over all.
In addition, we had to pay for water. Water?! I had to pay 2.00 for each bottle. They never once told us their water comes in bottles and and we looked at our receipt, we noticed we were charged. We asked for a cup of water, they should had confirm there is a cost for water. I watched the family (as i referred from above), when the dad asked for a cup of water, the lady who gave them their paper plate at their dine in table, she said "you have to pay for water". I saw the mom's eyes open wide, yeah. I doubt they will return. I'm sure it was their first time there at Pimmys.
Sadly, I won't be giving this place another chance again. For some who have never had Thai cuisine may consider the food good, but if you want to experience actual Thai food, there are better places and better ways to cook these dishes. I hope Pimmy's can improve their dishes and services in the future.
The food was delicious! Everyone in my family of 6 finished their food. WIN! I was so full I could not eat another bite, but it was so taste I wanted more.
The staff was friendly and chatted with us. The decor was class and vibrant.
We will definitely stop here again.
I’m from LA (SoCal) where Thai food is authentic as it gets and this place is on par with them. I ordered the Drunken Noodles. It was very flavorful and the noodles were not too chewy or too soft. Very flavorful, meat, vegetable and noodle ratio were well balanced. Will return and try different items if I’m ever in this part of WI again.
Always had enjoyed Pimmy’s Thai food. After not going in for a while now, the food wasn’t nearly up to the standards of what we were accustomed to. Sadly it wasn’t prepared as well and the tableware was ridiculously cheap. Unfortunately, the pandemic changed this too. We won’t be going back anytime soon.
Thursday afternoons are special to me and my partner. We both like healthier options so we decided to try this place out. The staff was welcoming and the establishment seem to be clean. I ordered the papaya salad with Ton wun and my partner had the spicy fish with cucumber salad. The food definitely deserve a five star for taste. As I enjoyed one of my favorite Thai dishes that I have been craving since I’ve moved back to Wisconsin I notice a hair in my papaya salad that made me cringe. I did bring up the concern right away to the staff. They did apologize and offered to make me another serving. I kindly declined and ask for a refund. After several minutes, the staff informed us that they were having trouble processing a “partial” refund. Several more minutes passed and one of the staff members came to our table and told us they could not figure out how to process the partial refund and we’re not capable of giving us a full refund. I was under the impression that something such as a foreign object in your food was worthy of a full refund. I do appreciate the staffs attempt to make it right but the overall all experience was not a good first impression.
I haven't ordered in awhile because last time was a disappointment... BUT recently I ordered and the food were pretty good! Sad due to inflation, there were barely meats in the dishes, but the flavor is there! Glad the soups came in with more soup... The portions were decent.. Thanks for not being stingy! 🤣 I would order again!
Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had hands down. Great staff who cares about good customer service. I personally like that they give you the food in the take away box/no waitress. It’s easy and if it keeps them open from having to staff extra people then I support that! Delicious
Don't come here if you expect to sit down and eat. They give you the option to dine in or take out, which if you dine in, you'd think your food is presented on a plate, nah we got paper plates for our 5$ entree, and our 12$ noodles came tightly packed in a to go container regardless of eating inside. We couldn't even eat our food out of it because of how tightly packed the noodles were, but I guess that means the portions are great. Was wanting a nice evening out to eat and instead had to go back home so I could eat with proper utensils.... So upset about spending so much at a place that doesn't even give you silverware or proper plates to eat off of for the price, that we walked out to eat at home.
Amazing customer service. Me and my boyfriend went to try it for the first time. The service was so sweet and professional to us. The food was delicious
I had never had Thai food before and my wife took me to Pimmy's tonight. Just getting out of the car it smelled good. Place was clean. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Got some appetizers, veggie egg rolls and chicken satay. For the main dinners we got, beef pad see ewe and beef lard nar. All super delicious. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. At the end they came to see what I thought and they also explained a little on the different dishes. Again, super friendly and attentive.
Gave me the wrong thing and tried to blame it on me saying their system is not wrong it was my fault. Tried to double charge me and not try to fix the mistake. They were kind of rude and blamed me! Had me wait so long for my new order.
Disappointed, the food was just OK for the price.
Received the food I a plastic container, even if I ordered dine in, a cardboard platter as plastic forks accompanied the dish.
Man, at this price I was expecting something else for sure.
I understand the lack of servers, however if you don't have them do something about the price.
Not impressed!
Small place with adequate seating. The food was good and the staff was polite
Beautiful presentation.
Great food.
I'm just in a hurry for them to get back to pre-covid in person dining.
The lunch special well worth it.
Great food and great people that work there
New in town. When I came in the owner said there was no waitress. We had to pay for the water bottle. Instead of plates and spoons we had plastic.
Ordered via UberEats as I was checking into my hotel. Food arrived within minutes of getting settled in.
Great flavor, lots of veggies!
I’m truly impressed!
Calling in an order is the worst experience. No acknowledgement of the restaurant just a "hello". The kid Oscar couldn't write down a proper order but yet I felt like I was in the wrong and had to pay extra when it was time for pick up. Come home to find out entree of noodles was screwed up. Kid didn't provide a final price on the phone nor answer what time they closed, just hung up. Owner teach your staff these simple skills before they can just pick up the phone to take an order. Proper training!
Their food is very good. I have yet to try something that doesn't taste good there.
Good food, good drinks, great customer service!
Amazing Thai food!!! I only wish I lived closer. The manager was so cautious about my gluten allergy that she called me to discuss ingredients. The portions are generous and the taste was out of this world!! We will stop in every time we are traveling to Milwaukee!!
A friend and I stopped in, sat down at a table and waited for someone to come by. there was only one other occupied table in the place besides us. we waited for almost 15 minutes and no one came by. One of the staff was very attentive to the other table (drinks, and orders) but no one even acknowledged we were there. there was 3 staff members in the front who made eye contact with us but never came over to get our orders. we finally got up and left and went elsewhere to eat! Never would I recommend this place for the incredibly poor service!!! They obviously do not need or care for the business if they treat customers this way
Red curry and chive dumplings are a must-try. Great vegetarian options such as the tofu satay.
Very good food. Never had Thai food before. Got the Massaman curry and Thai tea both very good. Very clean restaurant.
The appetizers are stellar! The Crab Rangoon, chicken pot stickers, and the egg rolls were all really tasty and cooked well. I tried new items too and just really enjoyed everything I ate.
New in town and I usually rely on Google to find new places to eat. Man did you guys fail me this time. This place does not deserve 4.6 Stars. As you can see by the one star rating, I am not impressed. Ordered the Tom Kah soup....PAID $3 EXTRA for shrimp, there was NONE. Now that, THAT..... should have been the only problem, BUT WAIT.....there's more....🤦🏻♀️
The soup had this weird lemony taste, the vegetables were ok but the carrots had this distinction of previously frozen, and the broth has a strange overpowering of lemon. I thought it was supposed to be coconut. Anyhow, 10/10 I don't recommend.
NEXT: I Ordered the steamed VEGETABLE dumplings they were mushy and I don't know what's inside of them... but, I'm pretty sure it's meat. Now let's talk about the Bangkok fried rice. Again with the frozen carrots but the rest of the "vegetables" were non existent,🙄 except for these two lonely snow peas laying awkwardly in their grave yard of halfway fried rice... I didn't see any eggs in there either The chicken in the dish was dry and unseasoned, my cat wouldn't even eat it....oh annnnd the shrimp........well they were so dry I choked, yes choked..spit it all over my table...I think I must have downed a whole bottle of water after that🤦🏻♀️ PLUS (if that wasn't bad enough) had an alarming taste of what could only be described as CAT URINE by my child. Obviously... We spit it out.
I'm not real sure on Kenosha's standards for quality of food.... But we're I'm from you don't pay $45 dollars for a meal and then rather throw it the trash and eat a sandwich. Serious, a bologna sandwich woulda been better than this garbage. Do better Pimmy.
Delicious red curry and Thai tea. Place never disappoints hope they stay open forever.
5 stars from the atmosphere in the restaurant alone, but the food was also bangin as well!
🤙
Best Thai food in all of Southern Wisconsin. Pimmy and her staff go out of their way to treat you like family and make sure you are satisfied with your experience.
Generous portions of food when ordered. And the Thai ice tea is to die for, will satisfy your thirst and take the burn away when you order your food super spicy.
This place is edible I guess. There wasn't much flavor and seasoning. There aren't many thai places in wi so this is a default. I've been to thailand and had way better thai in the states but I guess it's slim picking in the midwest. We sat down to eat; you have to order at the counter, pay before the meal then they bring the food in togo containers with paper plates. We wanted water but they only had bottled/canned items so wasted money on that. If you want to try here just get it togo. Overall, I won't be back.
The best Thai cuisine in SE Wisconsin! I actually think their Tom Kah soup could cure any sickness. It’s so good! Also the yellow curry is a great go-to.
Tried Pimmy's for the first time today. Blown away. The yellow curry was SOOOOO sweet and savory. The crab rangoon burst with filling when I bit into them. Probably the best Rangoon you can get in the Kenosha area and I've had em from everywhere!
Spicy
This place has the best food ever. The curry has so much depth and they get the spice level just right. The meat and veggies are obviously fresh and are simply delicious
Always the the best food around
Been here several times before - food has been excellent every time. The staff have always been friendly and courteous. Deserve repeat visits!
*Note: With the recent visit, they still had their limited capacity dine-in service due to covid restrictions. The food was provided as if take-out, food in containers, paper plates/ utensils and bottled water.
Usually I have a great experience, and I love the food from this establishment. Unfortunately, my last order has changed the way I feel about them; I was given chicken in my Tom Kha soup instead of tofu and as a vegetarian of 3 years this made me very sick. On top of that, I was told that due to policies I was not eligible for any compensation. This was through Doordash so I will give them another chance and pick up to go items rather than Doordash but the whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended. I am also saddened that chicken meat is was further wasted due to my intolerance, maybe I will warm up and give to a homeless person later today.
Oops! Crab Rangoon was cold in the middle. Ok, not insurmountable, but like so many other mediocre Thai places these days, the chicken is pre-boiled to save on cooking time. Sorry, won't be back for leftovers.
Great flavor food.
Excellent food!!!!
