We are a Thai restaurant serving the Yakima Valley.
I was very excited to try this restaurant Thai food is my favorite. We visited tonight for our valentines date. The atmosphere was cute and the server was very nice however the food was unfortunately extremely disappointing . Ordered the pad see ew and the noodles were very chewy. The cashew chicken was also not good . It didn’t have any of the usual aromatics that you would expect . I don’t usually write reviews let alone poor ones but we left feeling pretty let down I feel that we overpaid for food we couldn’t even finish . Thai tea was good .
This was our second time eating in. Our server was nice and friendly. She answered our questions of items on the menu we asked about. Our choices we ordered was amazingly good. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients used in the meals we ordered. Definitely will be back again.
This is a favorite spot for my wife and I. Our go to dishes are the pad Thai and the chicken Penang curry. We’ve dined in, picked up, and had delivery. Always great service. Try their food truck and Thai grocery as well!
When in season the best desert is the mango and sweet sticky rice
So we tried out this new place thanks to Instagram. And it didn’t disappoint at all. My cousin and her son joined me and we tried some food. Started off with the cream cheese rangoon which were really good, light and fresh. We had chicken pad Thai 1 star, Pad Kee Mao which is my favorite no stars since for me is already spicy with the chopped Serranos and side of jasmine rice. Also had the sweet n sour with chicken. The food was overall great, service was good, fast and friendly. Will definitely be back again.
I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this was be far not one of the better ones. They're way over priced for what you get. All parts are at least $19 and appetizes are over $9. I always get a 2 spice. Because there is a warning on the back of the menu I decided on a 1. HOLY HOT!! I was able to tolerate it but my husband couldn't at all. The pad woo seen was level 1 and it didn't have the best flavor either. They did apologize for the high level of spice but we had to request to not be charged for the plate which they agreed to. We also ordered pad thi and it was overly sweet and had to much sauce. Not enjoyable at all. The one good dish was the fresh summer rolls. I've always known then as spring rolls. Let's face it how can you make those bad, Vegas, rice noodles, shrimp. No seasonings or cooking needed. This restaurant not a win. Unfortunately I won't give it a second chance.
Perfect Thai restaurant for Yakima. This is just what Yakima needed for Thai food!

Our appetizer and entrees were delicious! Server was super friendly. We will definitely be going back again!

Really good food we ordered the pumpkin curry and beef boat noodle soup, we had to get an extra order of each to take home.
Pumpkin Curry was really good, just enough spice to give a good taste.
Had the Pad see ew and it was so blatantly not even remotely close to being authentic or good. Barbecue sauce ketchup based? Not sure how this place has such a high rating. Take it from someone who is actually Thai, this place is not it. The audacity to charge $20+ for an entree too.
My partner and I wanted to try something new, so we visited this Thai Kitchen. The staff was welcoming and kind as soon as we stepped inside. The establishment was well decorated and looked clean. Unfortunately, as we sat down and touched our silverware. A cockroach came out from under our napkin. We felt uncomfortable eating there or speaking to the staff about the roach, so we walked out. Wishing them luck with their roach issue.
The food is good but customer service was very poor when I received an order that was not ordered. It was take out and they would not remake and deliver without me returning the wrong order. Really? I will not go back.
amazing place food is always awesome I highly recommend the boat noodles
Small and cozy place with friendly staffs that greets you as soon as you step in. I never thought I would stumble upon a gem of Thai cuisine here in Yakima. I’m visiting from California and have visited Thailand many times. There’s many excellent Thai restaurants around California, and let me say that Bangkok OMG definitely can stand toe to toe with many high end Thai cuisine I’ve experienced. I highly recommend their cashew chicken and pad thai. It’s about the closest you can get in authenticity to dishes they sell in Thailand. I would definitely dine here again when I visit.
Delicious! We got the summer rolls, pad thai, pad see eew, and Thai iced tea and all was fabulous! Would definitely come back.
Just passing through town and was having a hankering for some Thai food. The yellow curry was excellent!! Highly recommended!!!
Great Thai food with excellent amount of spice!
My favorite for Spicy rice and yellow curry… I’m going to have to try the other dishes because they look amazing!!
The lab salad was one of the best I’ve had, also the tom yum noodle soup. Did not expect to find such great Thai in a non mega metropolitan area. Impressed!
Food was very authentic, I ordered Laarb gao
I am on my annual sisters trip and we love Thai food. This was spot on delicious. Would highly recommend. Chicken and shrimp pad thai with 1 1/2 spicy.
The dish I had here, Khao Soi, was out of this world! I don't think I've had better, even in Thailand, where I lived for a spell. Customer service was excellent, and the establishment was very clean.
Great Thai restaurant in any city - Yakima diners are very fortunate. Four experienced diners. Great service, comfortable setting. Excellent pot stickers (sauce!), cream cheese Rangoon, curry dishes, and, soups. Clean bathroom. Certainly be back.
OMG it's good. Highly recommend the mussaman curry but everything I've tried is delicious.
Amazing! From the warm welcome coming in the door to the delicious food, this place is wonderful. I tend to like spicier food and Level 3 was perfect - heat well balanced by the other spices. Portions were good and the price was more than fair for what's offered. Ultimately, I loved this place and will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
Absolutely delicious! The price for one dish seemed to be a lot but the portions are generous. My BF and I split an entree of Pad Kee Mao and had leftovers. We went with a 4 on the spice level as we love spicy foods, the hotter the better. The 4 (almost) proved to be too much for us so I definitely suggest sticking with a 0 or 1 level if you don’t like heat. Also, we had this delivered, and by the time it arrived to us across town, it was STILL hot temperature wise! We can’t wait to eat here again!!
Definitely will be back
Food was over cooked and Tia was just coated in sauce terrible quality
Such a great little Thai place. The owners are so kind and the food is delicious. A place you must try!
Stopped here for dinner, we are from the west side. Everything was delicious and the waitress was so sweet.
I drove for 20 minutes to get here. It says they are open but they are closed. So annoying.
Thanks for your reply.
I was really expecting the food to be better after reading some other reviews but I ordered my chicken pad thai medium hot and it had no spice at all and it also had no bean sprouts or green onions this is the first time I’ve ever had such a plain pad thai
Excellent spot to get some sweet & sour chicken.
Would recommend level 3 spicy.
Plate was very filling me and my boyfriend shared the soup and still had left overs
Food was really good very filling good portions 100% recommend
Absolutely love this place. Pricing is average for Thai food not sure where the complaints come from. Tried several dishes and loved them all so far. One of my go to places because of the amazing flavors. Def worth a try. Fast and kind service.
I recently had the most amazing time celebrating my wife's birthday here. This place is an absolute hidden gem when it comes to family-friendly dining.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff. They quickly seated us in a cozy corner that was perfect for our little one, who is just one year old. To our surprise and delight, they even brought out a toy for him, instantly making him feel at home and putting a big smile on his face.
Now, let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, it was incredible! Every dish we ordered was mouthwatering. Whether you're a fan of classic favorites like Pad Thai and Yellow Curry or you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new, Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen has got you covered.
What really sets Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen apart is their incredible attention to detail and their commitment to creating a welcoming environment for families. Not only did they provide a toy for our little one, but the staff also went out of their way to make sure he was safe and comfortable throughout our meal. Their genuine warmth and willingness to cater to our needs made us feel like cherished guests, not just customers.
In conclusion, Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen is the perfect place for a family-friendly dining experience. The amazing service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal spot for any occasion. Whether you're craving authentic Thai cuisine or looking to celebrate a special day, Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen is the place to go.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Make a reservation at Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen and prepare to be wowed. They truly deserve a resounding 5-star rating!
Great people... Tasteful food... Recommend the tom yum soup here, it is fire🔥🔥🔥
Best Thai food since coming back from Thailand!!
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had in the US. The khao soi is particularly delicious and filled with flavor.
Best Khao Soi I’ve ever had! Go eat their food.
My absolute favorite place to eat in Yakima…. Best fried rice ever… perfect spice level every time and staff are super friendly!!! 10 out of 10
I ordered cashew nut stir fry and spicy fried rice. Very tasty. Service was good and restaurant was clean and comfortable. I prefer my thai food a little spicy side, though - maybe they could ask how many stars?
I'll definitely come back.
This place is ridiculously overpriced…. 19$+ before tax… in Chicago you can get a pad Thai, soup, and egg roll for 9$ Geography aside, the food was very average/below average. I love supporting local businesses, but it’s hard to do so, when it’s overpriced and overall very underwhelming.
The food is delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff is gracious and welcoming. I just keep returning and introducing more of my friends to this wonderful dining experience right here in Yakima Valley!
Service was good. Ordered to take out. Very small portions for the price.. Ordered the Green Curry and Pad Thai. Out of pork and talked out of ordering it hot. Choice of 1-5 . They said "2 was really hot, are we sure ?" No heat at all at 1. No flavor in any of the food. Very bland. Also Ordered the cream cheese Rangoon. Just this side of burnt. Greasy and no flavor. Sadly we will never go back.
I really like their pad thai and curry dishes. Glad to have more options for Thai food in Yakima.
We had six in our party and chose to share our different meals. That was a great idea. In the end we were all full and our taste buds were dancing for joy. We highly recommend this restaurant
Pretty standard Thai food. Larb, papaya salad, Kao Soi, sticky rice, etc. Do yourself a favor and explore the menu. Don't be afraid to order something other than pad Thai. Spice was fine but I love spicy Thai food. It was a little spendy but good.
31 March 2023 - 5 Stars
Another great meal and service.
17 Dec 2022 - 5 Stars
We have returned a couple times since my last review, today's visit was again a great meal. I'm slowly moving up the "spice" scale.
09 July 2022 - 5 Stars
We read an article about this new restaurant in the paper a week ago and were looking forward to trying it. This, of course, was the first time here for both me and my wife.
Was happy with the food description by the waiter of all the dishes, plus the verbal waring (in addition to the back of the menu) about the spiciness of Thai food. I've had lots of Thai before, this was extra good and the spice level is higher then I've had at other Thai restaurants.
We had an appetizer (Satay) because I enjoy a good peanut sauce. The 3 skewers of chicken were large, filling and VERY tasty. We ate 2 skewers before I remembered to take a picture.
My wife had the Kao Soi Curry Noodles. She loved it at one star in spice. I tried it as well. The spice kicks in after a minute. This is a dish we have not had before and we both found it extremely good. Will have it again.
I had one of my favorites Thai items, Swimming Rama (with Shrimp). Was better then I've had before.
The portion size is large and we both took half of our meal home to eat the next day. It was still good. I think everyone we saw leave also had part of their meal boxed up.
Now that we know the food is really good, we will experiment with other menu items that intrigued us next time we visit.
Glad this has come to town. Will return, plus my wife is happy to know they deliver as well. She works downtown.
Side note: the staff attire is extremely casual. I was a bit surprised by it, give the freshness and style of the food / restaurant. Also, our waiter left on a delivery (I think) without saying anything to us. Just walked out. I happened to see him go - otherwise I would not have what was up. Another staff member served us the rest of our meal and was helpful as well.
We talked with the owner after we finished our meals. A wonderful women, very personable. I think this place will do well.
Finally, my wife is excited about the small shelf display with retail ingredients for purchase. Many different styles of Curry are available plus many other items.
Had their chicken pad Thai for the 3rd time in two weeks! Love this place.
Really great food!
The only thing I rated down was the American atmosphere of the interior. I think this might have been a pizza place or burger joint previously. It's a good place and great Thai food. We will return.
The food here is amazing, we were served very quickly after having our order taken. Staff is very friendly and even checked up on us when they noticed I was sweating because of the spiciness (not that it makes the food bad, it was perfect). I heavily recommend this place for anyone looking for good Thai food in the lower valley.
Omg is right 🥰
This place was fantastic, I been searching for papaya salad ever since I had it in Las Vegas, and by far the best and most authentic Thai food my wife and I ever had, we drove all the way from Wenatchee, just for papaya salad, and yes we will definitely be coming back, the waitress was so sweet.
Best Thai Food in Yakima - Maybe the best ever
This place is so good! They let you choose between 0-5 stars for spice which I love because I love really really spicy food, I got the 5 and it truly was very hot, they don’t play around, if you want it spicy, they’ll make it spicy. I don’t know much about Thai food so I chose a dish based on the description and it was delicious. My wife had something else and it was delicious also. Very homemade and nourishing. It seems like a very sweet family run business and I like that a lot. That being said it’s also a nice atmosphere. They have nice lighting and music I’m assuming is Thai music. It was a great experience overall. I hope they gain traction and do well here in the valley. It’s a new restaurant. There weren’t many people eating there on a Saturday night and that worries me but there were maybe 3 or 4 takeout orders while we were there. Come and try this place!! It’s great! Oh also, it says it’s 20-30 dollars per person but the dishes I remember from the menu were all under twenty dollars. Making them beef or shrimp costs a few dollars extra. I assume they have a lot of imported ingredients which would account for the steeper prices but it’s well worth it to have something different than most you’d find in the valley. We will be back!
I had a chance to visit an authentic Thai restaurant in Yakima for Holiday named ‘Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen’. There are quite a lot of spicy Thai food. It was so yummy and the food is awesome😆 I highly recommend this Thai restaurant. (Menu: Thai Garden Chicken)
Great service and they sell ingredients for making the food they sell
The food here is awesome. Hot and spicy or mild. Love it both ways.
Staff is super friendly and the food was served fast. Even during lunch rush! I Would recommend this place to anyone.
I Iove this place ❤️
First time visiting Yakima. Our group stop by here to have lunch the food was good I really liked fried chicken with sticky rice.
GOOD
good 👍🏻 very good
Nice
Taste like home. This restaurant do really good thai food. Highly recommend
Had lunch and wanted some fresh spring rolls but was told they could take 15-20 minutes cause they only had one cook. So we ordered a fried rice dish and pad kee mao.. the rice dish was ok but greasy. The pad kee Mao was unedible and smelled odd too. So we sent it back. The waitress asked the chef if he had added fish sauce and he replied yes. So too much fish sauce I guess. Long story short, they refused to refund the cost and did not offer to make something else. Just avoid this place there is much better Thai food in Yakima. I expect a rude response from management, claiming I don't know Thai food. I've had hundreds of good Thai meals and this was the worst.
I totally love this place, the food was wonderful, can't wait to go back, I want to try everything on the menu!
Had the phad thai and the drunken noodles and wow, best thai food I've had in Yakima! Service was amazing and my drink was never empty!!!
Love this place, great family, husband and wife both fantastic chefs. If you love Thai food, you won't be disappointed.
Good food. I'm so happy I can get spicy like I want here. Highly recommend
I don’t normally give bad reviews or even review a restaurant if I didn’t absolutely love it but I feel I have to let people know.
Absolutely would NOT RECOMMEND this place. The prices are outrageous and all the food looked and tasted like it came from a can or a bag.
I asked for water 3 times and never got it and had to ask twice for napkins and silverware and there was only one other table in the restaurant. I asked for a 2 star spice and the waitress said she would bring it on the side and then when there was no spice I asked for some and she brought me red pepper flakes literally like the glass jars you get at a pizza restaurant.
The Pad Thai had grease (orange like the stuff that comes off chicken tacos) pooled up around the edges and was dripping from the noodles. The flavor was very sweet yet bland.
The Penang Curry the meat didn’t even taste or look like meat. All that was in the dish was odd meat and super mushy green beans that looked like they were from a can.
I was so excited for a new Thai place and want to support new local places but I was so insanely disappointed and won’t be going back.
Best spicy curry in town!!!
Stopped here in the middle of a snow storm and grabbed some dinner before driving 30+miles home. I love heat and my daughter does not. Her pad thai was perfect for her and my pumpkin curry was outstanding. If you think you are a spicy person 2 is probably as high as you will want to go. Their food is truly Thai authentic on their spice and they warn you. I had my curry at a 3 which was perfect for me, but it will take your breath away initially if you are not use to it. They warn you. The menu warns you. The signs warn you. Don’t be mad. The owner is super sweet and was attentive. Give them a try. You will get an authentic taste of Thailand. I have converted my daughter to a Thai food lover. We will be back!
Yakima has been in need of a good Thai restaurant and Bangkok OMG fits the bill. The food is great, but heed the spicy level warning on the menu and the wall! In most places I get a 4 star. Here I go 2 star.
Wow. Great food.
Better than average Thai food in Yakima.
We will definitely go back.
Excellent!!!
Awesome food people! One of my favorite restaurants!
Not worth the money. Food was mediocre. Wonton were dripping grease. Service was not existent. Prices were too high for what you get. Won't go back
really nice treat. we got our food with 4 stars but the rating is 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
had a business dinner here and gotta say, those city slickers folks gave it 5 stars too!!
Crazy....I bit into my fresh spring roll and crack!!...I shared with the waiter and after examining the rest of it, this piece remained and weird enough perfectly in the middle ... I checked all the others ...I ate here last week and it was good but I can't anymore ...I'm still in shock
My fiance and I ordered takeout from here tonight. We got two orders of phad Thai, one with veggies and one with chicken, both 1 stars in heat. We also got Thai tea. The veggie phad Thai was great just wish it came with more veggies, I got maybe 4 pieces of zucchini in it and mostly garnish carrots. It was big portion though. My fiance said his was super good. Thai tea was bomb.
Sadly disappointed! Went there today and my wife and I shared a meal not by choice. We ordered two meals and one to go for my son and only got one meal and the to go meal. I waited to eat mine thinking my wife’s would be out soon but after a long wait we started sharing. Glad we did because they brought the to go meal and had forgotten the other meal completely. Flavor was good but the experience and wait made it not enjoyable. We had a glass of water with no other options presented and no refills of water the entire meal. After we finished our “shared” meal we got two orders of rice we had ordered from the start. We said we don’t need it anymore. Hope they improve!
We really were looking forward to a new Thai restaurant. Service was poor, we had to ask for napkins and silverware after food arrived. Portions are really small for the price they are charging. Rangoon is cream cheese only, no crab, as is customary in all Thai restaurants we have ever eaten. Very bland Rangoon and arrived cold. Two separate parties came in and were told staff was "on a break" - at 3 pm? They were told to come back at 4:00 but after those two parties were told that and walked out, two more parties came in and were seated. No paper towels in bathroom. We won't be back.
Was the best Thai food I've had in yakima.
Tried it for the first time today. Food was excellent! A bit pricey but we’ll worth it for the quality of Thai food. I’ll definitely be back.
Delicious! Great people! Good food!
So we tried out this new place thanks to Instagram. And it didn’t disappoint at all. My cousin and her son joined me and we tried some food. Delicious! Best Thai I have had in a while!
Food was very un flavorful and bland. Another Thai offering from the same owner of the place by the jail. For $20.00 you should get more than rice noodles, six shrimp, shredded carrots, peanuts and red tamarind sauce. Do not believe the pictures of the food in the advertising. Not even close to reality. The potstickers were fairly good and the sauce was flavorful.
Made me sick after I ate here!! to expensive for what you get.
😋 Was waiting for them to open. Very good service, first time here. The Pad Kee Mao is excellent! Will try the Tom Kha soup next.
"One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster!" Authentic Thai cooking. Generous portions. Rangoon are easily the best in Yakima.
My family and I went for an early birthday dinner for me, since Thai food is one of my faves. It did not disappoint! Do yourself a favor and check out Bangkok OMG Thai Kitchen!
