POP POP!! I miss you!!!!! You were my favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. Thanks for the yummy food over the years.

Diner Review β„–4

Great food and service, will miss dearly

Diner Review β„–5

We always stopped for take orders when we were in town but this last time found they have closed. Brown paper on windows but no notifications stating why? Does anyone have information as to what transpired?

Diner Review β„–6

Incredible food!!

Great Spot for Work Lunch, been coming here for years. Thank you!

Diner Review β„–10

Incredible food at amazing prices!

Diner Review β„–11

Good food, nice place, would definitely come again. The pad kee mow and Thai iced tea were excellent.

Diner Review β„–12

Very good food! Excellent attentive service!

Diner Review β„–13

Great vegan options. Even a vegan brownie! Coffee is great plus they have the good kind of raw sugar

Diner Review β„–14

Diner Review β„–15

I tried something new for me, mango crab thai salad. I was confused, there was no crab. Oh wait, there it is. Small pieces in the shell, a few at the bottom. Taste was great, but I expected crab meat not crab shells

Diner Review β„–16

Decent Thai food cooked by authentic Thai. Generous portions. Friendly service. Dining room is spacious.

Diner Review β„–17

Good food, will go back. The Khao Soi is very good. Fried rice is Ok but like the curry taste.
Braised pork is very taste.

The place is old, small but clean. The one person service is good.

Diner Review β„–18

Food is very fresh & tasty, friendly staff and clean environment. My favorite is the braised pork leg rice!

Diner Review β„–19

Finally a great Kao Soi in Seattle!

Diner Review β„–20

Bomb . Panang curry was great , you can tell the gravy and vegetables where made fresh . So good . All the food at the tables near me while I waited looked awesome . Will go back . Service was good , gentleman at the counter very friendly

Diner Review β„–21

Diner Review β„–22

Diner Review β„–23

I love the food here! I usually get the braised pork leg, pad see maw/eu they are both good

Diner Review β„–24

One of my favorite Thai restaurants nearby. They make some mean dishes that are so flavorful, especially the braised pork leg or Kao mun gai. Service is always quick and easy.

Diner Review β„–25

Menu online not updated. Noodle is ok

Diner Review β„–26

Always has orders out on time

Diner Review β„–27

We really enjoyed our time here. I got the khaosoi and some gyoza. The food was really good and the staff were really friendly. We can’t wait to come back here again and continue to try other things.

Diner Review β„–28

I had the Pad Thai with chicken, but I only got one star in the spicey category.
My plan was to eat half and save the rest but I just couldn't help myself. It was that good.
I can't wait to come back for more.

Diner Review β„–29

I have went to almost all Thai food restaurants in Seattle, I have to say this is the worst Thai food I had in Seattle. Pad Thai has a very strong weird smell. Pad see u is very salty. Their spicy level is pointless as all level taste not spicy.

Diner Review β„–30

Amazing food. But I grabbed pickup but the place was clean while I was inside

Diner Review β„–31

Great food and easy access. Wait was a little longer then expected due to a lot of orders being filled. Overall satisfied and would recommend trying.

Diner Review β„–32

Tastes better than any other Thai restaurant I tried in Seattle.

Diner Review β„–33

Their food was very delicious for me to eat. I ordered pineapple fried rice and pork gyoza and it was good.

Diner Review β„–34

Looks like just a normal small restaurant but the food quality is by far better than most thai places i’ve ever been to.
The fried spring roll is house made. Fresh and tasty and not expensive at all given it’s HOUSE MADE, not some unfrozen trash thing.
Other dishes, not too sweet not salty. That’s how real thai food tastes. Added to list of daily restaurant choices

Diner Review β„–35

Flavorful thai food. Great portions for the price.

Diner Review β„–36

Small little place with good service and nice atmosphere just lacking on the food. The meals were not anything special I would not really go hoping for great quality.

Diner Review β„–37

Love their noodles especially pad see ew and pad ke mao. Curries we’re on the sweeter side and would rate average. One thing that stands out for me about this place is hygiene and cleanliness

Braised pork leg, Khao soi, and pandan sticky rice were authentic and perfect! Amazing food

Diner Review β„–43

Diner Review β„–44

I dined at this restaurant several times so far and tried many things on the menu and every time it’s delicious food.

Diner Review β„–45

They never answer the phone I called 4 times to place an order within 30 mins and still no answer .

Diner Review β„–46

Diner Review β„–47

Friendly staff and the Pad Thai hit the spot, finally a place in Seattle with good Pad Thai. Pad See Ew was good too!

Diner Review β„–48

Forgot to ask for low sodium so their yellow curry was a bit too salty. But I liked the server’s reaction to a homeless lady. The server was soo friendly, which bumps my rating by one star.

Diner Review β„–49

Best Thai in town. Garlic chicken noodles, pop pop fried rice.. both just to die for.

Diner Review β„–50

Awesome Thai Spot!!

Great place for a quick bite to go or even bring your family for a delicious feast!
We tried almost everything on their menu! πŸ˜…

EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUSπŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

My favorite was #29 Khao Soi - NORTHERN STYLE RED CURRY WITH EGG NOODLES, CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS,TOPPED WITH CRISPY EGG NOODLE NEST, SERVED WITH PICLED MUSTARD GREENS, SHALLOTS, LIME AND SPICY CHILLI GINGER OIL

Their #6 Papaya Salad was on point too!!
We added prawns

ORIGINAL THAI STYLE
SHREDDED GREEN PAPAYA, DRIED SHRIMPS, PEANUTS, GREEN BEANS AND TOMATOES IN SAVORY CITRUS DRESSING

Diner Review β„–51

Delicious. Easy and quick.

Diner Review β„–52

Obsessed with their spicy chicken soup - exactly what you need on a cold day. I like it with egg noodles.

Not the generic Thai food you see around.
Hubby had the Tom yum - it too was very flavorful and healthy.

About $12-13 for the soup.

Truly polite service right out of Thailand.

Diner Review β„–53

I ordered panang shrimp curry and told her that i have celiac disease and to make sure it's gluten free. The food was tested by my NEMA tester. It was gluten free and it was delicious. Their spiciness is hotter than most Thai restaurant. I highly recommend this place. ❀️

Diner Review β„–54

Diner Review β„–55

3 dishes, with varying degrees of mediocrity. Proteins all cooked to death, rubbery. Brown rice only brownish... mix of leftovers likely. Flavors very mixed; yellow curry best.

Diner Review β„–56

Very delicious 🀀 approved y’all

Diner Review β„–62

I was happy with the fresh avocado rolls and veggie pad thai

Diner Review β„–63

Amazing food. Super nice employees well trained and quick service. The food here is above and beyond what you pay for.

Diner Review β„–64

Diner Review β„–65

Because of the good reviews I decided to try this restaurant, which is close to me.
Do not think I’ll be going here again.
I ordered the pork leg, and it had more fat than meat, and the meat was dry. Portion was too small.
The chicken wing appetizer was awful, fatty and did not seem to be deep fried at all.
Pork Gyoza was okay.
This meal cost 50.+, never again.

Diner Review β„–66

Diner Review β„–68

Diner Review β„–69

Ordered a beef pad Thai and a Braised pork leg. Took them 40min for my Pad Thai. Waste of time.

Diner Review β„–70

This food was legit delicious! We had the Pad Kee Mao and Spicy Chicken Soup, and potstickers. At first glance you might think the portions are small compared to other places, but all of this food is clearly made from scratch, super filling and nourishing, and we wound up with substantial leftovers despite our first impression. Prices are great, quality is outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Diner Review β„–71

I gobbled down the chicken & rice like I hadn't eaten in weeks it was that good. Friendly fast counter service, no dine in option. I will return.

Diner Review β„–72

First time trying this joint. We ordered the grilled chicken and it was actually nice. Will definitely recommend it.

Diner Review β„–73

I order from here frequently. This restaurant has decent Thai food. Flavor is much better compared to many other Thai places that I’ve tried in Seattle.

Diner Review β„–74

Ordered a few items off the menu all beef, went with 5 stars. For me it wasn't hot enough. The food was excellent. Will eat here again.

Diner Review β„–75

To-go order with doordash, Fried rice is so good!

Excelent service and top quality meals! Highly reccomend for someone in the need of some good thai food! :)

Love me some PPT! Awesome food and spectacular service. We've been eating here for years and never an incorrect order or bad food.

Diner Review β„–81

Diner Review β„–82

Our last visit - Inconsistency with flavor and with portion size. Time to find different place. Seattle too many good Thai place to keep coming here.

Diner Review β„–83

Pretty disappointed considering how highly rated this place is :( Ordered the chicken pad Thai 3 stars and it tasted like a 1, if that. Both the pad thai and pad see ew were lacking in flavor compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. At least there was a good amount of chicken in it. Crispy chicken was good but wasn’t crispy at all by the time we got home. The highlight was the Thai ice tea.

Diner Review β„–84

Diner Review β„–85

Wasn't my kind of Thai. Too sweet and the noodles were a bit too greasy.

Diner Review β„–86

One of my go to place for take-out in Shoreline. The service is friendly and fast. The food is delicious! My favorites items are the: Pop Pop Fried Rice, Chicken Wings (the tamarind sauce is delicious!), and Garlic Noodles.

The appetizers are also great and authentic.

Customer service is great. I ordered the beef pad thai = I didn't like it. The pad thai in Denver from "Swing Thai Restaurant" is soo good. This pad thai was yuck!

Diner Review β„–89

Diner Review β„–90

Diner Review β„–91

Very nice and authentic Thai food. Maybe I have a high tolerance towards spiciness because when I asked for 4 star, it still fee relatively mild to me. Nonetheless, this is a very good Thai food joint. Pop pop fried rice and Phad Kee Mao are really good

Diner Review β„–92

It was very nice

Diner Review β„–93

The best Thai food I ever tasted hands down. Was in town on buissness. Stopped by this gem and boy was it amazing.. I can't wait to return.

Diner Review β„–100

Food come out quick but I have to be honest. The pad Thai was lacking in flavor

I've tried pad Thai from numerous places*

Since is this a thai place I like to start off usually with trying a more traditional dish

Diner Review β„–113

It was a new experience for me. I loved the pot stickers but did not really like how my chicken tasted like fish.

Diner Review β„–114

Website didn’t work when we tried to order online, when we went in and ordered they said 20 minutes, it took 40. Pad Thai was subpar and the tofu was tough.

Diner Review β„–115

Diner Review β„–116

So happy that I found a place in Seattle that has khao man gai that is really good AND not overpriced. I love how they season the rice. The chicken is so juicy and tender. The sauce complements the chicken perfectly. The broth that comes with it is great but could use a tad more salt and maybe add some turnips for some texture, but that's just personal preference.

Diner Review β„–117

Amazing πŸ‘ as usual!!

Diner Review β„–118

Diner Review β„–119

Even if you order/receive the wrong food its delicious!! I love this place

Diner Review β„–120

This place is so good when you dine in but take out is just not the same quality. The staff has always been nice every time I've been here.

Diner Review β„–121

The food is decent (there was an ingredient that made my food taste somewhat bitter which I wasn’t use to but still overall good) and the price point is reasonable for the area. The service was fast. It was only to go when I went there.

Diner Review β„–122

Hands down the best Kao Soi in town. The food is so good and they are extremely friendly!

Diner Review β„–123

Diner Review β„–124

Wow. So much flavor its unreal. Drove past this place every day for the last year and finally tried it. Will DEFINITELY be back! Spice was on point, looking forward to trying the 5β˜† next time.

Diner Review β„–125

I've ordered here via pick up, grub hub and postmates. Had amazing food every time - spice level is a little inconsistent (I like my 5* to burn) but the food is so delicious I don't even mind.
Amazing tofu and they take extra veggies very seriously.
I would recommend this place to anyone.
Pad Se Ew and Panang Curry are my go to options.

Diner Review β„–126

I’ve had my fair share of Thai food, but this place is special. The flavors here are incredible and the portions are large. They have an excellent online ordering system and easy pickup.

Diner Review β„–127

This used to be my favorite thai place in this area and the only one I would get food from, even though I live in Edmonds. I told all of my friends about it. The pineapple fried rice and thai omlet are usually wonderful, but this time I ordered, so greasy and bland that I ended up throwing them away. Perhaps a different chef? Please make sure your food is consistent!

Diner Review β„–128

I haven't been disappointed yet with anything I've gotten there. Good food for take out.

Diner Review β„–129

#28 garlic chicken noodle 4*

Diner Review β„–130

I have gone to this place a couple times. Food is pretty good & customer service is excellent! Portion and price are balanced. I LOVE the mango sticky rice!!!!!! BUT i don’t recommend ordering the special crispy garlic chicken because its more like soggy garlic chicken.

Diner Review β„–131

Great food. Worth the drive!

Diner Review β„–132

We ordered SPICY HOLY BASIL with extra fried egg and PAD SE EW for to go. Very satisfied with the tasty and volume as usual. They may improve the volume issue which some customers' feedback. Good response, definitely will be back again.

Diner Review β„–133

Between the masks, the plastic shield, and the very loud music, communicating your order without having to repeat yourself over and over is a hassle. However, the food is great and the service is quick!

Diner Review β„–134

Diner Review β„–135

Finally found a place north of Seattle that’s β€œour Thai place!” Super flavorful, quality, balance of ingredients, perfect portions. Delicious! We’ll be frequenting here often ;)

Diner Review β„–136

This is my favorite spot for Thai food! They are always timely and tasty, with super kind staff every time we order. Large portions, where each bite is delightful and trying something new off the menu is always great. Love them!

Diner Review β„–137

Diner Review β„–138

Diner Review β„–139

Braised pork leg is consistently a winner! Delicious, satisfying, and prepared quickly! Doesn’t get any tastier than this place. It’s our go to for savory home cooked flavor and prices are very reasonable.

Diner Review β„–140

Overall, very okay Thai food. Panang curry was too oily for me. The pad see ew noodles were overcooked for my liking. The fried tofu in it was tasty, but there wasn't much of it.

Diner Review β„–141

Diner Review β„–142

Great food great service

Diner Review β„–143

Diner Review β„–144

It was OK but portion is wayyyy too small! I eat very little and I was still hungry after eating my curry + rice!

Diner Review β„–145

Diner Review β„–146

We love the food at Pop Pop. We eat here weekly and sometimes more than once a week. I am continually frustrated at the lack of consistency with portion sizes.

I order the exact same entree every time because it is so good (spicy holy basil). Until recently, I was able to get 2 full meals from this entree (not including the rice because I don't eat the rice) plus share with my young child. The box it is served in was completely filled.

The last few times I've ordered the box would be about 3/4 full. I never complained.

Today is the icing on the cake though. The order tonight barely filled half of the box. If it had been put in the small rice-sized box it probably would not have filled that.

Again, we love the food however I am disappointed in the inconsistencies with the portion size. If the portion is being reduced, adjust the cost accordingly and make note on the website so more than 1 can be ordered.

Diner Review β„–147

Diner Review β„–148

Good food but not to much variety. Level 5 spicy is not that spicy.

Diner Review β„–149

Near thai perfection at a great price. Their pad thai and pad see ew are sole of the best I've had. Their pad see ew noodles appear to be house made which is always the best.

I give 3 stars to the food only 5 stars to staff. Staff is very helpful and polite. The food quality was a medium. I ordered pad thai and woonsen pad thai. The woonsen was very chewy like rubber texture. The sauce was a little sour. The regular pad thai was good didn't have all the veggies I'm use to with the pad thai. Again the sauce seemed a little sour. All in all my son and I enjoyed ourselves. We will come back again but will not order the woonsen pad thai. Thank you for reading my review.

Tried the food on my way back from a call. Very delicious! Good portions and packed with flavor. I've gone a few times and have not been disappointed so far. The food is colorful, smells amazing, and taste phenomenal. I ordered the chicken with noodles and veggies. It was fresh, great spice and sooo sooo good.

I'm surprised at the small menu they have for a Thai place. They should definitely add more food. Other than that, very good food, fresh and definitely recommend if you want good Thai food.

One if the best Thai places not just in seattle but anywhere I’ve been. Incredible flavors, my go to is the papaya salad, fresh coconut juice served in the coconut! And their specials are always insanely good.
