All of them are amazing and delicious. Much recommended place for Thai food lovers. Staff are very friendly and helpful to find the right food options. Maintained restaurant very well. Only issue is they are charging Gratuity for 2 people too that is around 15%, this one should be replaced or get better option.

Whenever I crave Thai corn patties, Mango Thai is my go-to destination! Their corn patties are absolutely delicious, and I've never been disappointed. But it's not just the corn patties that impress - everything we've ordered has been consistently great, from the refreshing Thai iced tea to the crispy fried banana dessert.

I had an outstanding experience at this Thai restaurant! The service was impeccable, with a warm welcome from the manager and staff. They were incredibly patient and attentive throughout our meal. The food was beyond delicious; every item on the menu is exceptional. The spring rolls, corn fritters, and potstickers were delectable starters. The Pad See Ew with spice level 5 was a flavor explosion! I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

We had an amazing experience. Food was delicious. We had tofu soup, spring rolls, potstickers(this was a bit oily). Pineapple fried rice and Pad kee mow was very good. Kids menu is also nice.

It was an impromptu decision to visit Mango Thai because my husband and I both love Thai food, and we’ve explored many places in the DFW area until we discovered Mango Thai. It offers the best authentic taste with perfectly sized portions. The waitress, Ann, who is also the manager, took excellent care of us and suggested the best items from the menu. If you love Thai food or enjoy exploring different cuisines, this is definitely the place for you. A must-visit!

We went here for my birthday and the food was amazing, reasonably priced. I had the wonder curry that is recommended on the menu. I let my sister try it and she ended up ordering it to take home to her husband. Would absolutely come back when I'm in the area.

The ambience of this restaurant is so pretty. Simple, cozy and nice. Beautiful. Got noodles and stir fry. The quantity of the stir fry was really good. Both of the food was delicious.

We ordered Tom Kha soup which is our all time favorite, Chicken Satay and Pad Thai Noodles.
Tom kha soup and chicken satay were delicious. Pad thai noodles had a very strong smell which I couldn’t take at all. We then changed it with curry fried rice and it turned out really good. Our server made sure that rice didn’t smell like fish.

Pretty solid Thai food and very willing to customize orders up to small things like what spices and fries/soft tofu.

We visited this Thai restaurant on Christmas, and it was a fantastic experience. The Khao Soi was rich and flavorful, and the Pad Kee Mao had the perfect balance of spice and freshness. Despite it being a busy holiday, the service was excellent—attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I ordered my food and sat down because no one sat me down, and I assumed you just pick a spot if there isn't a host to guide you. Suddenly , I was asked if i wanted the food to go or not, and I said I wanted to eat inside. And then the person came back and said they already put your food in a to go bowl and I said "Oh that's fine." And then they brought me the food and I opened the bag my food was in and then was told by another person that I can't eat in the restaurant with the to go food.

I was like okay and left.

Expensive for the portion given, they cater to the upper class crowd, I wouldn't go back here again, the price for what you get is a little too boujee for me. I did not find the pad thai and thai tea I had to be anything particularly special and did not taste authentic, but rather really Americanized and salty, Sakthu Thai is better imo, at least there you dont come out still hungry after 20 bucks.

The food was sooo good. We had the Krapow Fried Rice (#4 spicy) and the Mango wings. That was the best fried rice I ever had. It was a nice place to take photos with a digital camera. The bathroom area was mad sus tho💀. Other than that I loved it!!

Someone took our order and then we saw the server when we paid the bill. We were grossed out by the huge bug that was crawling between the booths. Although not great, it happens to the best of places, but an apology would have been nice. The Purple Rain drink was great.

Worst ever experience I had, we ordered a Mahi Mahi fish with sweet and sour sauce, the sauce was sweet enough to be a dessert, the fish we ordered was grilled, instead it was cooked in water, we ordered thai basil fried rice, rice was mushy with no hint of basil taste, tasteless, chicken used was of canned, another chicken fried rice we ordered for my kid, it was so tasteless he couldn't eat few of the bites, on the way back I had to buy him McDonald's , the waitress was very rude, was asked for water and was served @ the end of the meal

Does it really warrant a 15% service fee for someone to just answer order for 1 person, bring the food, and then bring the check? If it is like 10 ppl, I get it, but this is for one person only and at most 2 dishes...Those are basic job roles, and you shouldn't be charged extra just for that...

On top of that, it is before tax unlike normal tips, so you are paying more than the 15%....

And, they still have the audacity of asking for tips on top of that... I already have to pay 15% gratuity and sales tax on top of that extra 15%... And now you want me to pay extra tips?

The food is incredible. I dont usually leave reviews but the 3 times i have been here i feel that the service was indifferent and rude. But the resturant is beautiful and the food is so delicous that i dont mind that the staff makes me feel bad.

My first time here. They have the best mango iced tea I’ve ever had! I went at lunch and you get a small complimentary salad with peanut sauce that was yummy. I then had a lunch appetizer serving of 2 chicken satays with peanut sauce ($3.99), 2 vegetable spring rolls ($3.99), a bowl of chicken tom kha soup ($3.99), and chicken pad Thai ($11.99) for my entree. Everything was so delicious in addition to being so reasonably priced! The inside of the restaurant is a little run down (needs a fresh paint job) but I’ll definitely be back. I want to try so many of their other dishes. I highly recommend this little spot! Such gracious, caring service too.

The food is so delicious. Tried the Thai fried rice, Chicken Satay, Green curry with fried rice on the side. The fried rice by itself is so rich in flavor. And the show stopper is the Mango sticky rice. Just look at that, it tastes x10 better than its looks.

Quality Food with clean Ambience

I called and placed an order. The man that answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. He didn't say hello or anything his response once he answered was "Yeah what do u want"? I had to get clarity that I had the correct establishment because he was so abrupt and aggressive. I placed my order and once I was done he said 15mins and hung up! So once I arrived I asked to speak with a manager and he said there wasn't one on duty ( which I'm 100% sure was a lie, an establishment doesn't leave a place to the workers to just run the show). So then I asked if he was the one I spoke to on the phone and he said yes. I told him he was rude over the phone with the way he answered and hung up on me. He blamed the phones and I asked him if the phones had anything to do with his tone and manner and he continued to blame the phones.

Me and my family spent $49 tonight for what we consider great Thai food, but there are literally 100's of options to choose from within 10mins of our house. We CHOOSE to come here and have been for over 15yrs.

Poor customer service! And apology was what I was looking for...nothing more.

But please understand we don't have to and never will again. I will be respected and not lied to at any place I spend my money!

Tried this restaurant on my trip to Dallas.

We ordered Vegetable Penang Curry, Vegetable Pad Thai and Chicken Pad Thai. The food was delicious. I ordered spice level of 3 out of 5 with 5 being the spiciest though one of my friend ordered the Penang Curry with 4 spice level. 3 spice level was mild and perfect for me.

The service was great and we got our entrees on time. The server even helped us clicking a picture for us.

The Food was very traditional Thai and Lao. First time visitor and will be back. When trying new Thai/Lao restaurants we always try to do 4 on the heat scale 1-5. We did have to go up in heat, but they gave us a nice amount of fresh Chilis. But our old Thai restaurant always called me Fire Woman. So I like it hot. We had several dishes and was pleased to see Crying Tiger Beef on the menu. One of our favorite Thai dishes. We also tried the Moo Ma Nao, loved this, the sauce is very similar to Nam Jim Jaew or Esan sauce. I will have to see if we can get a bed of cabbage versus the lettuce, next time. We will be back, even though we live in Waxahachie, Texas. Great food and Great service.

Every time I order from Mango Thai Cuisine, the food is awesome and it’s made exactly as I ordered it. The amazing thing about this place is that you can pick the level of spiciness you want, which a lot of places don’t offer. As a person who medically can’t have spicy food, having the option to have Thai food that isn’t spicy but is still full of flavor is a big deal. As long as I’m still living in the area, I’ll continue ordering. Definitely recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

As a regular customer, I've observed a decline in the food quality, and when I addressed it with the manager, she responded rudely and seemed unwilling to acknowledge the issue. The restaurant's decline in maintenance and customer service is noticeable compared to their previous standards.

They were open on Christmas Day, which gets an extra star. They were full and still taking to go orders. All of the food that came out of the kitchen looked great. We ordered a Thai fried rice to go. The rice was OK but nothing really special. My wife liked it, but I thought it was average. No real character for the rice. Stir fried chicken with some vegetables. Portion for $13.99 wasn’t particularly generous and I would seriously like more flavors. This was boring.

I love Thai Food. But this is not the best one in the town. We felt all the veggies were uncooked in the curry and fried rice. The taste of all items was outstanding. But poor service.
They charged 18% graduity even though we were 4 adults + 2 small babies. Rule says it's above 5 person, and they included 4 month baby and a 2.5 year old toddler. "THEY USED OUR SERVICE" was the reply we got upon asking. Not sure what service they gave to our 4 month old.
Will not dine in again here.

Always punctual with my pick up with quick and easy checkout. Food is reasonably good. One shortcoming is staff needs to be more attentive with customer approaching the counter. It took a minute before staff noticed me at the counter for pick up.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. Great options for vegetarians. Atmosphere is warm and cosy, service is consistently great, food is delicious, quantities are generous and the prices are very reasonable.

It’s a place which is not cost worthy. The foods are not proportionate as it’s mentioned. The atmosphere is decent. The servers are always asking “what’s next”, before you finish your food. They charge mandatory gratuity fees just for 2 people

Mango Thai easily ranks among the top three Thai restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. I paired it with some fried rice, although it usually comes with jasmine rice.

Food was good for take out but inside was meh

The food is decent and pretty authentic Thai. However the food portion is absurd. Ordered a curry duck at $19.99 and getting served with only five pieces of duck. For comparison, I can get identical dish at NYC for $25 with double portion of the duck. The same portion even goes to their chicken wings.

Restraunt mandates gratuity in food bill. This is forcing guests!!

Food quality is good.

Atmosphere is good.

Service is good.

Taste , if you're expecting flavorful and spicy Thai you'll be disappointed. Very mild on both ( even spice level 4) ! If you're a 70 yr old Caucasian, you'll be very happy.

Quantity, portions are small. 8 medium shrimps in 1 entree which is loaded with broccoli.

Texture, chicken is generally overcooked/ hard and tastes boiled.

I've had plenty of Thai food across the country and this was a surprise! 👎

Ordered online through grub hub for delivery and order pad see ew beef and requested with only “Chinese broccoli” I did not want the additional vegetables that came with it and both orders came without any broccoli just meat eggs and noodles. I spent $50+ on 3 meals and still didn’t get everything I asked for. Its probably best to call in your order instead. I probably wont return.

What is there not to like? This is my local go-to Thai place. I go there so much, the waitress knows my standard order. I have branched out a bit here and there and friends try other dishes as well, and they are always great. It is a very welcoming place with great food!

Bad service, staff doesn’t speak basic english. They got the order wrong 3 times and then added an item we didn’t order onto the bill. They also add a 18% gratuity even though we were 2 people! Ruined a family dinner.

The price of the food has sky rocketed and the quantity is so less, not enough for an average adult person.
Gratuity is 18.5% … not going again.

Have visited this place for the last 10 years. Good food. Lots of veggies in fried rice. Nice service. Very limited parking. Mandatory 15% gratuity.

I Love Mango Thai. Jaci and all the girls are so kind, friendly, and great service! The food is always so fresh tasting and flavorful! I’ve never been disappointed. My Fave is the Red Pineapple Curry with Chicken and fresh basil. I ordered it somewhere else the other day , because it was on my way home, and it did not compare at all , and I would not go back. Mango Thai Plano, is a hard act to follow😊

Fast and friendly service. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow on high spice level and spring rolls. I would recommend.

Update after reply from owner:
English is my primary language, not Chinese, so you're saying my English-speaking is too fast? Then that's definitely a problem on your business' side since I have no accent at all when I speak English. I was thankful for the recooking of the food and there was an obvious difference with the new dish, so that does show to me that the food given to me the first time was not up to standard and that shouldn't be happening to any customers. Like you say, you stand by your quality and recipes, so customers should be getting that quality. Customers don't like to experience that they're getting "jipped" (cheated/swindled) when we're paying, which is what I experienced. It is not my first time ordering from you guys and this Plano location, but it has been a number of years since my last time and I just want to say it was unfortunate to experience what I experienced.

Initial review: Got “trash food” in my phone order for take-out, called back to ask why was the quality of food so poor, and was treated so rudely! Don’t know what’s happened to decent customer service these days… Mango Thai used to be good but not anymore!

Mango Sticky Rice is 🔥🔥🔥

Nice option for a quality Thai food. Taste is pretty good, service is fast & ambience is relaxed. Good portion size. They provide extra sauces on the side for you to customize spice level if needed.

We ordered pad Thai noodles,we didn’t like it it was very sweet although we asked for medium spicy. Overall we didn’t like it at all. And it was my birthday so we got very disappointed.

Thank you to (I think her name is Bop or Bom, my hearing isn't great at times) her recommendation of Singh beer with the red curry was just what I needed. Very clean place, welcoming atmosphere, and the food alone is worth the price. Thank you, Mango Thai! Can't wait to try out more menu items!

The food was overall good, I am not happy with adding 15% gratuity for 2 people and a kid and when ask they showed menu saying this is service charge/ tip. I am not going here again. I would have given 20% in tip adding 15% without my consent is not acceptable.

I stopped in for lunch by myself and the host asked if I was there for take out, I said no just a table for 1. The service was super quick and attentive. The prices were incredible. The selection was not as extensive as other Thai restaurants. I also prefer more authentic but it was great for the price and service! I would visit again.
