Wide-ranging Thai cuisine, cocktails & various teas served in a mellow space with woodsy-chic decor.
If you've ever had REAL Thai food, it can be hard to find a truly delicious authentic Thai place. Well, this is one of them. The crispy chicken house special did not disappoint. VERY flavorful... Would highly recommend. My wife had fried rice which was also very good if you like fried rice. Dishes were out in less than 5 minutes. I have no idea how they do that.
Service - i cannot comment about much because I went during a very off hour. Nothing wrong.
Food was above average considering Seattle to be a Thai food haven. It's not bad at all. Quantity is great and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the garden rolls.
The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere.
2C Thai Bistro & Spirits is a wonderful family owned local restaurant on Lake City Way that you shouldn't miss! It is on the NW corner where 125th crosses Lake City Way. Street parking was pretty easy to find. The restaurant is clean and everyone was friendly. The food was very delicious. From the creamy crab appetizer and ice tea to their papaya salad, green curry with avocado and veggies, or their pad see ew, everything was clearly made with good quality fresh ingredients and love. They, like other restaurants, are doing their best to support online orders and walk-ins which is hard. The owners are very lovely people and are working hard to meet both types of preferences which is really tough to do. I highly recommend eating there. That is where you'll get the optimal experience of delicious food made and brought right out of the kitchen. Food that's made well, takes a little time, and the small but mighty kitchen does their utmost best to be efficient.
This is our favorite Thai place of all time! Multiple neighbors recommend it to us 7 years ago and we are so glad. The crab wontons are THE BEST. The spring rolls have delicious peanut sauce and all the pad Thai and drunken noodles are amazing. Plus they are so nice and quick!

Food was fantastic and the gentleman working the front was personable and honest. Great experience all around.
Never disappoints, food is always delicious 😋
Great food, great service!

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere.
These are the rangoons you're been looking for and reminds me of what they used to serve at the Garlic Tree in PPM. Also, their noodle dishes are less greasy than most and I'd put I right up there with Kaosamai in Ballard as the cities top Thai kitchens.
Excellent Thai food!!!!

The best place to eat in lake City
Always great food! Love this place
First time visit to this place.
Clean, pleasant and well appointed interior.
Greeted promptly, with courteous service.
Entrees were, simply, delicious.
We ordered Drunken Noodles and Fiery Salmon.
Great experience.
2C Thai is a great option for dine-in or takeout. Service is friendly and polite, prices are average, their food is prepared quickly and is consistently good.
They make great Thai food. I have loved everything I have tried on their menu so far. The beer and drinks are reasonably priced as well.
The sew ew was amazing and they even added carrots for me. Spice level 3 was perfect, I like spice! The service was great and the food came out fast. I would recommend this place for some yummy Thai food.
I love this place. I typically order the same thing because I love it so much (cashew nut w/fried tofu) but I’ve also sampled several other items from here. They chop their veggies in a way that leaves them fairly big, and sometimes a mouthful but they are always fresh and delicious. I like the ambiance as well and the staff are very friendly. It’s my favorite Thai spot on the north end. 😋
I am haunted by their crispy salmon with basil.
Delicious!
It's nice having two Thai restaurants nearby as they each have some different dishes to try.
Designated bar area in the back, not heavily used. You are usually seated quickly, and service is quick and efficient. Everything was served piping hot and was very tasty. Beef in my yakisoba noodles was exceptionally tender.
Nice selection of teas and cocktails.
Really enjoyed my meal here recently with my family. My two-year-old loved the kids menu chicken skewers with rice (and all the serving items were kid friendly too!). My basil tofu was fresh and flavor-ful. Pad Thai is on the sweet side but good.
Ordered two green curries. Disappointing choice and quality of veggies. No bell pepper in the first and only two pieces in the second, old avocado that was mushy, and no bamboo shoots. Which is a shame because the sauce is good, it just needs fresher and better veggies.
Food is amazing, staff are super friendly and the dine in atmosphere is really nice.
Everything is amazing and I could eat exclusively at 2CThai and never get tired of it. My absolute favorite restaurant 🤌
Friendly server, loved the calamry with that sauce!Delicious soup & noodles
The best chicken pad Thai that I've had in a long time.
My sister and I have been here a few times. It's usually alright - run of the mill Thai food.
But Monday was horrible. Our server was so rude and missed half of our order. My mum asked what one of their cocktails on their specials was, and his response was "a drink." He came back with the drink menu and still couldn't say what exactly was in the drink, some "blue stuff." Lol... apparently, he's unfamiliar with what's in their cocktails/food. Oh, and he was the bartender for the night, too! 😅
We ordered some food, drinks, and soup that never showed up. It took forever for him to visit our table, even to get a check. It wasn't busy. They weren't short staffed. The guy hid behind the bar or kitchen half the time.
We actually went to Thai One On down the street because we were still hungry. 🙃
I go here for their crispy chicken with Thai basil. I love it and crave it every few weeks. I have not found that dish done in the same way at other thai places. Drunken noodles and pad Thai are also pretty good. My top choice for Thai in the area. I don't like the recent price hike, though.
They no longer have a lunch menu, so no combinations and prices are higher.
READ BEFORE GOING
EMPLOYEE TOLD ME TODAY *all* ITEMS CONTAIN SOME MEET.
THERE ARE ***zero*** vegetarian options no matter what the menu says.
Please be aware. I will be contacting health inspectors as well. I ask the company to immediately change their menu before they face a lawsuit.
2C Fried Rice is the bomb! Try it with potsticker sauce that they have so yummy.
Consistent, high-quality foods with A+ vegetarian and carnivorous options alike. Been going here for about a year and never had a bad experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful!
The service and atmosphere here seem good, and I think the basic ingredients of the food seem alright, but the seasoning leaves a lot to be desired. As some of the other reviews note, they don’t do very spicy food. In order to keep it tasty they compensate with... salt. Although it was otherwise okay, I found the food almost inedibly salty. If you're willing to ingest massive quantities of salt, you have a lot of options, and this is one of them.
EDIT: I had the Spicy Noodle house special
Really tasty Thai food. Owner saw we were running out of rice and bright us some on the house. Recommend.
Good food
Great service, food was awesome, cool atmosphere. All good.
They were able to produce a 14 person order for pickup in less than 30 minutes which saved our meeting. The food was delicious.
Lunch here is the highlight of my work day
Nice place to eat or take out with a great staff in the middle of Lake City.
This is our favorite restaurant in Lake City ave so far. I personally love their Curries and Garden rolls with the amazing peanut butter. It's always our first option when going to Lake City.
Food here is mediocre at best. The last several times I’ve ordered pad thai, it was super bland and disappointing. We get crispy chicken which is ok and the pineapple fried rice is also a let-down. The one dish I do recommend is tom kha. And what makes it worse is the parking!
Quiet dark clean atmosphere. Pad Thai was average pad Thai. Crispy chicken pieces were MASSIVE but only like 5 pieces. Should cut smaller and do like 12 pieces. Pretty average Thai food for seattle imo.
Great Panang Curry, thank you!
Carol Baskin killed her husband.
Also, this is a really good restaurant 👌
one of my favorites
Great service, kind people!!!!! Good food!
Had a craving for some Phad Thai and saw 2CThai near me. I've wanted to try it for some time so decided order a quick lunch. I generally rate a Thai restaurant based on how I like their Phad Thai, and that's what I ordered.
It tasted good and flavorful. Not a bad thing, but it was a little sweeter than I'm used to. The spice level was what I expected at 3/5 stars as some places 3 stars is too spicy. I will definitely like to try their other dishes and will go back again.
The gentleman that helped me went out of his way to find me while I was getting into my car to tell me he forgot my side of rice. He ran back to grab it and gave it to me while I waited in my car. Small but nice gesture so I decide to do it in return and share my feedback.
Excellent flavors and friendly people. Definitely always go for their lunch special when I'm in the area.
The absolute BEST Thai food in Seattle! I can't recommend their tofu entrees enough. Their Crispy Tofu and Orange Tofu options are outstanding! Gigantic, beautifully breaded chunks of tofu and exquisite house made sauces. Lovely, dimly lit Lake City eatery. Wonderful, friendly staff as well. Can't recommend them highly enough!
I don't know how 2C continues to provide the best tasting food! Everything we have tried on the menu has been great! Our favorites are edamame, veggie rolls, crispy chicken, cashew chicken/tofu, and of course, pad Thai. Thanks 2C for being an incredible part of our Lake City Community!
I love Thai food and I have visited a lot of Thai restaurants and I can say with complete confidence that this is definitely the best Thai restaurant in the Seattle area hands down.
I did take out of 3 different dishes. Ok Thai but fairly cheap ingredients/quantity of protein.
Decent but not great quality/price.
What a surprise of a find. I've been in Lake City since February. I don't eat out much, but had a craving for Thai food. I can't believe this restaurant has been down the street from me and I've been missing out on this for nine months. Its so delicious, I've ordered from them twice this week. New favorite.
Fastest food I’ve ever received in a restaurant and it was delicious! Definitely recommend!
Soooo yummy
Flew into town from a place lacking in good Thai food. And this place hit the spot. Excellent spice levels, noodles were a crispy perfection. I wished I lived next door. Everything was shiny and clean inside with good lighting if that matters to you.
Delicious!
Really good Thai food!
Honestly, perhaps the best Thai place I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot.
Reasonable prices, large servings, great vibe, and tasty food.
Chill spot, Great food
Amazing food, very friendly and helpful staff. Learned about the history and origin of Sriracha (Taiwanese Sriracha is the original and taste soo much better). Highly recommend
*Edited
Apparently I originally went on an off day. I have been back a few times, and it has been really good every time.
Great authentic Thai food. Definitely the best homemade coconut ice cream I have ever had in a restaurant. Service can be improved.
I moved away, and the food I miss most in Seattle is the salmon pad see ew at 2C Thai.
Great food 👍
I've been going here since they opened and it's been wonderful every time. Setting is clean and pleasant, and the food is delicious. They can also make most dishes gluten free!
Happy to find this Thai restaurant so close to our new home! My order was ready to pick up in only 25 minutes and was hot and well packaged when I arrived. My boyfriend and I ordered the drunken noodles with beef, panang curry with chicken, and the crispy chicken. The veggies were cooked perfectly (lightly sautéed so that they were still crisp), the beef and chicken were tender, and the spice level was perfect. Also, we got a lot of food! It will definitely provide us with lunch for tomorrow. The only critical feedback I have is the curry seemed a bit watered down..I would prefer a richer, creamier, and more flavorful sauce. We will definitely be back though!
It's good, but our meals were pretty low on the spiciness level, so you may want to order above what you normally would.
Amazing foods and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
Lake City is rich with awesome Thai food and 2C contributes their fair share for sure! Nice folks, comfortable atmosphere and always tasty food.
Perfectly cooked with great flavor and portions. Will be making this a regular when in the area
We had the yellow curry, 3 star. It was very good! They didn't spare the spices. The broccoli was also cooked perfectly.
My favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant. They also have a great beer selection.
Your place was clean and modernized food was good service great!
not good. I don't understand the raves. overpriced, poorly seasoned, too sweet, poorly executed. Been here 3x and also my last.
If you read their hostile and accusatory responses to other reviewers who've left negative reviews, you'll see how graceless they are.
The most amazing Thai food with an interesting twist. Things to try are the creamy crab 2cThai fried rice with mango and panang curry. And for dessert the ice cream is good, and the mango sticky rice is very good.
Best Thai on Lake City Way! The menu is very large and we have had a lot of it. We have no complaints about a single dish. Highly recommend the crispy chicken, appetizer platter, the beef pad see ew is a favorite, green curry, any of the wok dishes are clean, simple, and delicious!
Great Thai, good atmosphere.
great dinner out. had some great dishes from the wok & the salmon curry is delicious.
Amazing decor, clean, and delicious food!
They’ve shared video chat. Thanks
Do you want attention to detail, get your order correct and your food cooked throughout? Then don’t come here. The past two times I have order from this place always it’s a disaster. I only keep going here b/c my husband really likes Thai food but will not be coming back. First incident was about 4 months ago where we order Phad Thai and other dish and the chicken was raw! I called them and they asked me to go back to get it fixed. I did not want to drive back so I let it go. Recent incident we order Phad Thai again and other dish, we order extra sauce on the side (charged separately). The Phad Thai was naked noodles and chicken it looked so not appetizing. My husband goes back and they make a new one, this time it was spicy (this was for my 3 year old). They don’t offer a new one they just ask my husband if he can take it and of course he said no. They make a third one and finally correct and we don’t get any extra sauce which we had already paid for ! I called them and the lady who answers was not listening to my complaint. She asked me to drive back to her restaurant for a refund, when we had already drove twice! I wish I could’ve kept pictures. Needless to say would rather go to Panda Express across the street than coming back here.
I'm here now, and it is definitely open for dine in! Got the lunch special. Happy to see that there is an option to get Tom Yum or Kha soup in a cup portion, which is rare. Got the basil chicken, very good. The pad thai is pretty good, but I do feel it's not as spicy as I asked for and could use more flavor punch. But better than a lot of spots around here. And the main entree was a perfect 3 star spice level with plentiful basil. Can't wait to try more items!
Do not provide contactless delivery as stated on their website. Have now had multiple bad experiences with this restaurant. We will unfortunately not be ordering from them again unless they change their delivery practices and improve customer service.
Business responded almost a year later. Response was rude and unhelpful.
2C has been my go-to in the Lake City neighborhood for the past 3 years. Everything they make is wonderful. Before Covid, this is where we would take visiting family and friends. During covid, we’ve switched to pickup and occasional delivery.
Everything is good so it’s hard to make recommendations. I don’t usually enjoy so much of the menu at restaurants. Some of my favorite items include:
- chive cakes, my favorite appetizer and the reason I sometimes wait for dinner instead of ordering lunch
- simple noodles - delicious! I just wish they came with more veg
- massamun curry
- wok fried rice
- sunny prawns
They have great food and their dishes are large!
We ordered three dishes. Pannang Curry, Broccoli & Beef and Phad Se Eew. All three were lackluster. The curry was watery without much flavor, but had heat. The Broccoli was cooked crisp, but the sauce had no flavor. The sauce was mostly water with little content or garlic. The noodles had flavor, but the veggies with it did not. It was like they were cooked separately from the noodles. We'll be choosing other local Thai places over this one.
Ordered a bunch of food for takeout, there was a big hair in the pad thai right when I opened it. I know it happens, but I couldn't eat the food after that. I called to get refunded on that one item and the guy on the phone was super nice and said he would refund and call back. No call no refund. Called back the next day, they said oh, sorry give me your card # and we will refund, gave them the number, still no refund?!?!
Wont be back.
I’ve been eating here for years and have never been disappointed whether taking out, delivery or dining in 2C never lets me down. The food is amazing, fresh and service has always been great. I can’t even think of other places I’ve been that have been as consistent with great food as 2C. After years of patronage to my favorite Thai restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants ever I felt it was time to give them the great review they deserve. Definitely eat here and don’t think twice about it!
We were working in the area and needed lunch. Super yummy and would definitely go back!
Their Phad Thai is genuine crack. Usually I save half for later, but i kept pecking away at it til it was gone. I ordered it with prawns, and they gave me a generous amount for the order. Many places hold back because of the pandemic or whatever. Good phad thai never lasts. With good phad thai there are never leftovers. I usually order one of their noodle soups back when I was dining in. The Boat Noodles are great.
Best vegan pad thai I've had!
Really tasty Thai food- Pad Thai, cashew chicken, masaman curry and crispy chicken are our favorites. Super easy to order online and pick up.
I really loved the thai steak salad.
I've been meaning to post this review for a while. 2c is one of the best thai restaurants in Seattle, in my experience. All of the food is incredible, made with high quality ingredients, love and care. Their Thai tea is perfect, and much more flavorful than anywhere else. To top it all off, the service is great and they love their customers. I highly recommend.
Our go-to for takeout or a quick weeknight dinner out (pre-Covid). Food is consistently tasty and good quality. There are other Thai restaurants in the area but we are DEFINITELY 2CThai loyalists. Our favorite dishes are the crispy chicken, Panang curry, pad Thai, and pad see ew. Honestly can’t go wrong here!
Great food, I recommend the Khao Soi, terrific.
Crispy basil chicken is off the hook!!! I order at least once a week! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I love the chang Mai noodles, drunken noodles. And pineapple curry. I don't normally get these either. 2C just makes them on a black belt level.
Great spot for takeout - good consistency as well so you don’t have to worry if your 3star spice request will end up bland or inedible.
Best Thai food in north seattle
We take all of our out of town guests here, as it’s our favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. Great food, good prices and huge portions!
Good thai food and friendly staff. Got takeout here for the fist time and was amazed at the large quantity of portions. They were also pretty quick. My only complaint is that my rice was a but overcooked as it was starting to turn to mush but everything else still tasted great. I would come back and try more of the menu.
The food is excellent, vegtagbles in the dishes are crunchy the flavor is amazing and they will even tone down spicy dishes if you wish. Im definitely going to be a repeat customer.
Absolutely incredible food. Ordering online is easy from their website and the delivery is incredibly fast. Less than a half hour consistently.
Very friendly people. Tasty food too!
The food may be a little pricey but your totally getting what you pay for very filling and delicious 👍 :)
Best Thai food in lake city HANDS DOWN. I carry 36 menus in my car, so as a aficionado, this gets the seal of approval.
Amazing food! Great people! Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.
Best fried Rice I’ve ever had, hands down!! The owners are the sweetest people. 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend! :)
Lots of love from Jamba 🥕
My go-to Thai food in Seattle.
2C Thai is our go to Thai restaurant in N Seattle. The food is always excellent whether its dine in, take out or they deliver! Just this week, we partnered with them to deliver 30 hot lunches to the Overlake Medical Center Staff to thank them for their efforts in fighting the pandemic. Thank you so much for partnering with us and we look forward to many more meals to come.
Favorite Dish - Drunken Noodles or the Crispy Chicken. Just awesome.
Food is great service alright. Decent atmosphere. Take out wait time is very long. Four visits for take out, all 20-40 minutes.
So I just ordered during this whole Corona thing. We got quoted a 1 hr wait time. The food arrived in 20 minutes and was super freshly made, and cooked perfectly. We are about 2 miles away and I'm pretty sure it was plated and driven here immediately. Love this place!
Love the crispy chicken!!
Great food
This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to! Everyone who works there is so nice and the food is amazing! I try to eat there as often as possible. I get the Rama Noodle every time and it is fantastic!
I asked for Pad Thai with Tofu and no bean sprouts. The yellow order tag on the bad even said my order correctly, but when I got home, it was chicken and with bean sprouts. I want a free meal.
Great food and service in a cozy spot
Good food, fast service.
Delicious!!
Best crab rangoons I have ever had. For real.
Ive been in the hospitalty industry for or 40 years and today was the second time i was refused service because they close from 3 to 4 pm for employees lunch. Ive wor.ked on restaurants that are open 365. 6am to 2am wont ever go back
Best Thai food in Seattle. The appetizers were hit and miss, but the entrees were delicious. Best Massaman curry I’ve had, and great basil fried rice. Service was also pleasant and timely.
