Despite over and over again reassuring us of their friendliness to allergies, for whatever reason, they seem to have absolutely no understanding of what cross contamination means. Even when you ask and make they understand it's a severe allergy, it's as if they take little to no precaution

It's not okay that they've been here for so long and can't understanding basic English cooking principles.

Absolutely wonderful pork Pad Thai and Avacado rolls.

Diner Review №5

Food was absolutely amazing, and as someone who works in the service industry I can say that the chef did his damn best to get to everyone as quickly as possible (I think there were about 5 other tables besides myself when I sat down) as well as a few to go orders that were being picked up. He was the only staff member working and I came mid rush time— it is a smaller restaurant so it doesn’t take much to fill up. I had the avocado roll (waaay bigger than I expected and honestly just that alone would have me full) and the chicken larb that I asked for to be spicy. I wasn’t in a rush, so I was fine waiting… Especially because a coworker recommended it and honestly good food is worth the wait. I don’t know if it’s normal for it to be a one man show— and if it is honestly the people complaining about wait times need to take a seat. You can see the entire kitchen when you walk in and like the restaurant itself it’s TINY so you only have so much space and able to do so many orders at once and the menu is fairly standard for a Thai restaurant.

I do think some more general upkeep/updating would be for the best though. There is definitely a need for more storage area for boxes/equipment. There was some sort of machine stored in the women’s bathroom? I would definitely still come by again if I wasn’t leaving WA tomorrow morning.

Diner Review №6

Bad experiences both times trying this joint. First time food was over cooked and the flavor was off, plus the owner was on the phone with personal affairs. Be prepared to pay double for dinner as their online menu does not state that’s it’s a different portion and price. Will be learning to make Thai at home.

Diner Review №7

The food was very good with generous portions. It is quite small so the atmosphere is more small town and a bit crowded. The service was pretty good but this was homecoming weekend so they took awhile to get the orders out and I'm sure they were busy all day. Overall would go again and recommend

Diner Review №8

Food was great. It was a game weekend so it took a long time for us to get our food. However when they came to bring our food out there were a few plates that were completely wrong. Otherwise everyone loved their food.

Diner Review №9

Dont get me wrong, the food here is very delicious. but unfortunately they seem to prioritize doordash online orders over the humans physically inside the restaurant. Very long service times even when the inside is empty. I waited 30 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon and was given the wrong order. Now on a saturday, 45 minutes of waiting at a table and still havent been served while doordash keeps being pumped out. Thats what makes this a 3 star establishment for me.

Diner Review №10

First time we tried this place it was slower and food was excellent and tasted very fresh. Second time the pad Thai noodles seemed a little stale, but soup was great — maybe they were a little busier this time. Adjusting from 5 to 4 stars, but will definitely try again.

10/10 Crab rangoons!!!! For entrees we get yellow curry (1*) and pineapple fried rice (2*). We always have leftovers!

Diner Review №13

Diner Review №14

We love to bring family here when they’re in town. The food is delicious and spicy, with big enough portions that we can all share.

Diner Review №15

Food is ready good! Beware spice levels are inconsistent from visit to visit, so I order down a level just in case

Diner Review №16

The worst Thai I’ve ever had. I ordered panang curry. It came out watery looking like tea. I got immediate diarrhea after leaving this place. Horrible food.

Diner Review №17

Their own website showed our take out meal to be $41 - When we arrived it was $56, plus tip. The Panang Curry was mostly peas, plain white rice that was mushy with no flavor. Our spring rolls thin, half empty and burned. We were very disappointed.

Diner Review №18

When we stopped in, there were 2 other tables. The waiter took a long time to take our order, did not refill our drinks, check on us, or offer chop sticks. When we inquired about Maggi or Golden Mountain Sauce, he stated he had no idea what either was. The coconut prawns we ordered had 7 total and they were heavy, saturated with oil, and difficult to eat, costing us a whopping $16.95. The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) had okay flavor overall but not a lot of sauce, very small amount of basil, and the noodles were so over-cooked they disintegrated & turned into mush as soon as they hit our mouths. The texture of the noodles were gag-worthy and definitely not what I expected. On the other hand, the “Drunken Noodles” contained perfectly cooked vegetables!

The atmosphere is okay but definitely aged and needs a good cleaning, carpets are dirty looking, and some areas on the ceiling are patched or have stains from leaks (for example, the kitchen area looks have what appears to be cardboard taped to the ceiling appliance.)

The portions were decent sized and the food tasted amazing! So happy to have found a Thai spot. We got phad thai and drunken noodles and both were fabulous. The service was great; quick, friendly, and professional.

Diner Review №23

I saw a few comments warning that they mean SPICY when they say spicy. I rolled my eyes and assumed the comments were from people who think yogurt is spicy. I would say that if it’s your first time there, get a level 1 spicy. Not zero spice, because the way they season adds so much to the flavor. But, for real don’t do a 4 unless you brought a jug of milk with you. The FOOD was incredible. The service was fine. The atmosphere was fine and it was comfortably warm.

i LOVE the Pho here!!! it is the BEST in pullman. their spice levels are amazing, i always get medium and build it up from there, but been debating trying out their hot spice level! food is always so yummy and amazing size portions.

I've only had Thai food a few times, I would return to Phikun's to continue exploring. Honestly, the menu was a little overwhelming.. eventually I settled on the pad see eww with shrimp and it was quite satisfying. We got sat in the back, where is was a little dark and seemingly forgotten for a bit, which as odd since there were only a handful of other diners.

Diner Review №35

We have been looking for a good tai restaurant for 2 years and finally found Phikun's. Amazing food good service and catered to smaller dietary constraints. We'll be making another trip up to Pullman just for this food.

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

The best Thai food in the area and arguably the region. Hands down the best bang for your buck. Chicken pad Thai, for example, starting at under $12. An extra serving of chicken (which wasn’t necessary, I came to find, as they gave me a hearty serving I am taking home with me) ran me just $15. My belly is full, my tastebuds satisfied, and the service was expedient as you could ask for. 10/10 would recommend. Take my word for it, try here.

Diner Review №38

Diner Review №39

this is the best pad thai i have ever had in my life. I crave it every day. please send me the recipe!

Diner Review №40

Huge portions! The Pad Thai tastes great and lasts me 4-5 meals because how much they give you!

Diner Review №41

Hands down the best restaurant in Pullman.

We have dietary constraints and our very kind server confirmed everything we ordered was adjusted and perfect for our needs.

We got the fried tofu, yellow curry, spicy basil fried rice and mango sticky rice. Everything was perfect. Curry was super spicy like I asked for and the fried rice was insane. You can tell they cook everything to order.

Glad they’re open and we will definitely be back!

Diner Review №42

This might be just my taste preference, but I have not had better Pad Thai or Beef Pho anywhere else. They do an excellent job with their spices! Moved to Colorado recently and I am having a difficult time coming to terms with Phikun's being too far away.

Diner Review №43

Great place for great food and service!

Diner Review №44

Diner Review №45

Diner Review №46

Weird food with virtually no service. Won't be coming back. Don't know what the other reviews saw in this place. Perhaps if you smoke enough pot, the bar is set lower.

Diner Review №47

服务不错的泰式餐厅,口味偏淡,分量够!

Diner Review №48

let me use their outlets

Diner Review №49

Amazing food taste so good

Diner Review №50

Phikun's is wonderful. Whenever I feel like takeout, they are the first restaurant I go to. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The Pad Kee Mao w/ tofu is what made me fall in love with this place, but I've never had a bad experience with anything I've ordered.

Diner Review №51

Favorite restaurant in town

Diner Review №52

I got the phad thai, tom yum, and a thai tea. The tofu phad thai was absolutely amazing! However the tom yum isnt really tom yum. It tastes almost like chicken noodle soup and I got it as a spicy 3 and it was almost inedible because of the spice. I can handle spice extremely well but this dish couldnt be enjoyed because of the spice and flavor. The thai tea was delicious.

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

Always a great experience here, their pad Thai is good and I also enjoy the phu selections

Diner Review №56

I got some solid Pad see ew. The people are nice

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

By the far the best Thai food in Pullman with delicious food and very large portion sizes. I got the massaman curry, and it was some of the best curry I’ve ever had!

Diner Review №59

Diner Review №60

Soo glad to find this gem in Pullman. I got their seafood specialty and it’s delicious. Definitely coming back.

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

Amazing flavors, friendly people, great value and giant portions. My new favorite restaurant in Pullman or Moscow.

Diner Review №63

It was delicious! Tofu options & great soup! Very friendly service.

Diner Review №64

I would like to go back and explore more of their cuisines.

Diner Review №65

I ordered the teriyaki chicken fried rice and it was excellent. Food was good, portions were good fast friendly service.

Diner Review №66

This place used to be pretty decent but seems to have cheapened out. Ordered pad se ew and it came loaded with zucchini. Flavor is just off and awful.

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

Super great food and quick for takeout 😊

Diner Review №69

Phad Thai was good. Wait time for dinner was long. Would recommend Thai Ginger in Pullman.

Diner Review №70

Service was quick for a change (still not very warm and friendly), but the food isn't that good. Water's straight from the tap (the lemon doesn't do much to mask the flavor). Tom kha gai was pretty much coconut milk and chili (no lemongrass, galangal, or lime leaves — hard to call this a tom kha without these). Pad see ew had almost no noodles and the veggies were massive and virtually raw (not bite-size or easy to chew). This place was better (and busier) years ago, which is disappointing.

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

Had Thai Fried Rice with Chicken. Very good. Recommended.

Diner Review №74

The pumpkin curry is always amazing

Diner Review №75

Long wait with decent food for a Monday, otherwise Thai Ginger is the place in Pullman

Diner Review №76

This is the best Thai food ever. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait but it’s totally worth it. I’d wait 2 hours for a meal from here.

Diner Review №77

Went here today with a friend. I had the pineapple fried rice with pork, and she had a lamb curry. The flavors were on point for both dishes, and the serving size was massive! Will return and recommend to everyone who visits Pullman!

Diner Review №78

Such a great spot. No nonsense. Awesome food (I had Pad Krapow). Fair prices. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Diner Review №79

Their curry is to die for!

Diner Review №80

Best restaurant in town in my opinion, the panang curry is to die for! But watch out, you might actually die from the spice if you order 4 stars. They give generous portions of everything I’ve ordered.

Diner Review №81

Our favorite Thai place in town! We like the Phad Thai, Pad See Ew, and the Red Curry. The spice levels can vary depending on the day but we’ve always been happy with the food and portion sizes.

Diner Review №82

Great extra extra spicy Panang Curry and Tom Kha soup. Perfect!

Diner Review №83

Not much in the pad Thai. Pretty much just noodle and sauce with little peanut and bean sprouts only.

Diner Review №84

They have amazing authentic food and I always have a tough time choosing what to get between Masaman curry or Pad Ke Sew or trying something new. Their 2/4 spicy is others 4/4. Delicious food!!

Diner Review №85

We love this place. Hard to get through on the phone to order to go, but it’s worth it because it’s so good. Huge portions, and everything tastes amazing.

Diner Review №86

Love this place!

Diner Review №87

Diner Review №88

Fast and large portion. Very flavorful too. Will recommend.

Diner Review №89

How refreshing to get quality Thai food! Be sure to try the curries, they are my favorite things on the menu! They have a spicyness scale from 1-4, with 1 being not spicy at all and 4 being very very spicy. I usually get a 4 because I like properly spicy food. I've had some of the noodle dishes that were so so, and i haven't had the pho yet, but the curry is amazing all on its own!

Diner Review №90

The one order of Pad Thai that we got was enough to feed us both and leave us with leftovers. For the price, it is above what you would expect both in flavor and portion.

Diner Review №91

Great food, love the curry and pad see ew

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Great food and prices. Friendly service.

Diner Review №94

Love the food here. We always get the avocado rolls, the peanut sauce is the best we have ever day. I would recommend the swimming rama or the pad se ew. The one thing to keep in mind is that if you cannot handle spice you need to ask for no spice or level 1 spice. I have had people who love spice tell me they cannot handle above level 3 spice and myself (moderate spice tolerance) never goes about a 2.

Diner Review №95

Order takeout from here and then order some more! It is delicious. Portions are enough food for two meals and the to go containers they use are gold in my house (the nice plastic ones)! I always go here for the Massaman curry! It's some of the best I've had.

Definitely make sure to call in advance, it's a popular place so the wait times can get pretty long with to go at dinner time!

Diner Review №96

Best Thai food in and around Pullman/Moscow. Best fried tofu I have had anywhere. I love the Massaman Curry, the beef larb and the barbecue chicken curry!!

Diner Review №97

Coming from the Redmond/Bellevue/Kirkland area, I had high expectations for Thai food by the time I came to Pullman. This place is the closest you can get to westside Thai food. They always do a good job. If you like your food spicy, they always make it happen!

Diner Review №98

Worth going to from Spokane

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №100

I've lived in Pullman for years and I had no idea such an amazing Thai place was here! They take spice seriously if you request it

Diner Review №101

Diner Review №102

Stir fry not well mixed or evenly cooked, told me 30 min but took 40. FYI: spicier ratings then most places, order one spice level down than usual.

Diner Review №103

Had a horrible experience. Ordered a veggie dish for takeout with specific instructions over the phone, went there and confirmed if it was veggie and went back home only to find out it was non-veg. Called them and let them know. The worse, they asked us to bring our food with us to check if they had given the non-veg, on top of that even asked for us to pay for the new veggie dish as new order, however I refused to pay. Really bad, bad experience. Horrible customer service. The representative didnt even bother to say sorry when I went back for exchange. No complains about the food though, it was good.

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

Good Thai food. However, I don't recommend the Thai Tea and the wait to pick up your food for takeout is very long!

Diner Review №108

This was truly a let down to say they least. I don't like leaving negative comments but when i place an order with key words that said spicy on multiple spot & the person taking my order decided not to include nor as at the side. The lamb also was not the best. Consider this the first and last time wasting my time& money.

Diner Review №109

Tastes good, bad rice, gives diarrhea

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №112

We ordered the green curry and the Panang curry. The portions were huge for a very fair price, and the sauce came with a generous amount of meat and veggies. Both curries were delicious! Most importantly, they actually made it as spicy as we asked. We typically order our food extra spicy elsewhere and it never seems hot enough, but this place delivered! We will absolutely be back again and highly recommend.

Diner Review №113

Diner Review №114

Diner Review №115

The food is awesome as always

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

Very bad service, we waited for about an hour and kept telling us that there were still a few minutes and five minutes or something. It makes us feel very desperate. I doubt that the chef did our order at all. Those who came after us quickly got their order. I will not come again and I will not recommend this to others.

Diner Review №118

Always delicious. Friendly service. Good price.

Diner Review №119

Nice atmosphere! The duck was to die for!

Diner Review №120

Absolutely the BEST Pad Thai. The salad rolls are delicious too. Can be a long wait but well worth it.

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

5 stars for the food, 1 or 2 stars for the speed of service. The food is great, the dishes are varied, authentic and delicious. They'll let you choose your spice level. It's because of the food, and the lack of other options for Thai in Pullman that I give it such high marks. The service is so slow that they probably don't really deserve it. If they had just a couple more people to expedite it would be a really great experience. If you fine in, be prepared to get annoyed at seeing take out food constantly flow out while you wait. And if you order ahead, you still might get there and wait, but a lot of people in Pullman still consider it worth it, because the product is so good.

Diner Review №123

Fantastic food!

Diner Review №124

ORDER TAKE OUT AN HOUR EARLY! Here is the real real, this food is actually pretty dang good, I recommend the pho and pad Thai. But be aware, atmosphere and service here is 0 outa 10! ITS TRUELY AWEFUL. You will not be helped, you will run out of water for an hour, and you will be soooooooo upset. Just do yourself a favor and order take out an hour ahead of time trust me. they will tell you it will take 45 mins (wow) but seriously show up an hour later. You'll be all the happier for it. Your welcome and good luck.

Best Thai around, I’m sure. Great lunch options although the prices are very reasonable. The rice had been cooked with too much water (kind of mushy) the time we went but overall great food. Fast and friendly service too. We love Thai cuisine and we’re pleasantly surprised that they had an actual “spice rack” for us, as we prefer heat in our dishes. It was clean, quick and an overall excellent dining experience.
