I lovvvvve this place perfect for dine in or ordering out always correct fresh and importantly hot! Very chill place to dine beautiful handmade Thai art & beautiful Feng Shui greenery. They are always hospitable with that Aloha spirit. And the Best Phad Thai in town! Great yellow curry and amazing phad see ew! The fresh rolls are really yummy especially with in house made peanut sauce! yumm!
First time came in Teak house at Sun night around 6pm with my hubby.
There were no customers in the restaurant, but a woman showed us to a table. First I ordered hot tea. The tea came in a pot, so I was able to drink plenty of it. After that we ordered Teak house noodle and Crispy garlic chicken. Another group of customers took their seats. Several customers came for takeout. The Crispy garlic chicken we ordered was well seasoned and delicious. I also liked the Teak house noodle because it tasted good.
The woman at the restaurant was prompt and had very good service. We would like to come again
I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent food here. We tried the garden fried rice with shrimp, excellent for you and your kids. For the fish lovers I definitely recommend the spicy sautéed catfish, which was awesome!!!
Update Jul-2017: now I have a new favorite dish - the crispy trout! So good!!!
Update Sep-2018: they continue to amaze me with delicious food. We loved the garlic chicken, the avocado rice and the ginger cod fish. Check my photos.
Update Dec-2018: pumpkin curry was a good season choice.
Tried this place for the first time today.Food was higher quality than most Thai places around the area. I think they were low on staff cause the service was slow. Prices little higher than expected also ....otherwise good food. Asked for 3 star spicy and I would call it a 1. Spice level was weak.
The owner is friendly and they serve some of the best Thai dinners south of Seattle. And large portions! The place is not very big so we often get it to go.
This has been my absolute favorite Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Everything about this place makes you feel welcomed and you just know you are about to have the best meal of your life. There are so many great options on the menu but an absolute must is their teak house fried rice.
Used to come here during my high school days, they were always so nice, welcoming, and food was always delicious. Miss it
I wish my food was spicy, I got 4 stars…
Great and simple to order online
Used to come here during my high school days, they were always so nice, welcoming, and food was always delicious. Miss it
Food was great and the service was even better.
Been coming here for bout 20years. Recently moved to Tacoma and can’t find anywhere that compares so we definitely make the time to come grab a bite. The red curry with phad Thai is to dieee for 😋🤤
Love those chicken wings
Always delicious!
Ótima experiência. Local familiar e ótimo atendimento.
I’ve been coming here for years!! This is by far the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to and I’ve tried my fair share.
Looking for Pho Soup. Very disappointing but also very expensive.
Close to home and consistently great food 😁

The garlic chicken is delicious, it makes our dinner so special and it is the reason why we are here over and over, but phad thai, curries and fried rice is awesome too!
Pad see ew was yummy
Love this place. Pad Thai is my go to dish. I've been going here for over ten years !
Fast, delicious, and peaceful. The first place we ate after landing in Seattle and a very strong start. Absolutely wonderful.
Dependable Excellence and Favorite Truest Thai Dishes. Thank you for spoiling us Seattlelites.

Best thai food ever!!
I've been coming here for years. Good food, great service!
Tom ka soup is great! Wonderful neighborhood gem.
Drunken noodle is awesome. Best kept secret.

Teak House is our absolute favorite place to eat. It’s a family owned restaurant with a big city chef flavor.
Everything is cooked fresh to order, and allergies and preferences are always respected (not every restaurant does this).
You will not regret stopping in to eat, or getting take out from this special place. It’s part of our Family’s bi-weekly tradition to order food from Teak House, and enjoy at home with our feet up in front of a movie!
Very friendly and the food is always fresh and tasty! The owners are great with customers. They make it how you like it!
Always great. Been coming g for 10+ years
My family and I had a very strange experience. We will never go back there again. I apologize for such a long review. I hope you never need to experience what we went through.
We’ve been eating at Teak House for 5 years and really liked the food and service. It’s been 5 month since we last ate there. It used to be almost impossible to show up on a Friday at 6:30 pm and get a table. We walked into a completely empty restaurant. The food has always been better than most Thai restaurants, and slightly more expensive too. 4 out of 5 dishes tasted bad beyond repair. The tom kha and crispy garlic chicken were very sour, almost inedible. The Panang and Phad Thai were completely bland. The only normal dish was deep fried shrimp. The soup lacked its main ingredients and signature flavor - galnga, lemongrass, lime leaves, and coconut milk/cream and was watery. It was chuck full of white button mushroom. The phad thai barely had anything but noodles and tasted like mild ketchup. We decided to say something since most of the food was not appetizing at all. The server, a warm elderly woman, insisted on fixing the dishes. One “fixed” dish after another was bad. It tasted like the chef dumped a bunch of sugar into some dishes and salt into the others, making things worse, not better. We asked for a box for the shrimp and left the rest, feeling bad about so much food going to waste. The server wanted close to full price (over $100) and balked at our dismay. A man, who seemed like he might be the owner, approached us and wanted to argue about the taste of the food. By that time there were a few more people in the restaurant and it felt like he was trying to shame us. What a dumpster fire. We settled the bill and will never return.
I love this place, delicious and they are nice people. Great for takeout or hanging out and eating, fast and excellent every time.
Fast and great service. Food very good.
Best thai food restaurant i have ever been to. The service is amazing I feel like family. Been coming here my whole life and the best food ever.
great food. amazing service love it here
Quick and fast
Very good place in Burien for Thai food
Absolutely loved the garlic chicken, egg rolls, Pad Thai, and fried rice

AMAZING - try the Phad Kee Mao lunch special 🤤
I found the food to not feel like Thai based on the flavor profile. Had the Pad Thai and another garlic dish. The prices are high though the portions are good size. I do not plan to order again.
Picked up a single Tom Ka with beef, Called it in on the way home. It was $25 sorry but that is an insane price for a soup. There was a few strips of beef, did it taste good, sure. Was it worth $25 Heck NO! will not go back felt ripped off
Great 😋🤤
The food is very good here. It is on the pricier side, but totally worth it. Of course our favorite is the pad Thai.
hated it
I was very disappointed with this place. I was excited to try it because of all the positive reviews. I'll start off by saying that the food is way overpriced even for lunch. I got an order of chicken satay and pad thai and paid $40 before tip. This was a lunch price.
I thought the food was ok but not worth the money. What made the food worse was the fact that I had leftovers and the next day, when I tried reheating the food, it had already gone bad. This tells me that the quality of the food is poor or they served me food that was pushing the limit for the "sell date."
I hate to be that person but if you want good Thai Food, got to See Fah Thai in Renton! I was very impressed eating there before I tried this place.
After trying this place, I sadly will not return because it's overpriced, poor quality, and because the fact it went badly the day after I purchased it! And yes, I did let the food cool completely before putting it away in the fridge. The next day it spoiled. I can't say I've experienced anything like this with any other kind of take out orders in the past. This was a first and a little bit horrifying!
Great food and server was very nice! Authentic Thai food! You won't be disappointed. We had curry, shrimp fried rice, and pad Thai.
As of November 2022 they are closed between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., which is not reflected in the hours they listed on Google. I drove out of my way to come here to find a locked door. Their health safety inspection is also had to bare minimum level to stay open. Not sure how they got so many good reviews...
So good!! Best Thai food in Burien.
This place has the best food with so much flavor! They were fast, affordable and very good service. I would definitely go back again. The garlic chicken was my favorite dish of the night.
Great food. Very unpretentious.
Used to love this spot growing up, but I just paid $27 for takeout Tom Kha soup, which is unbelievably outrageously priced. I’ll never go back again. That was robbery.
Food is Ok, restaurant looks neat a clean, prices are high. The fresh rolls were nothing special compared to other thai restaurants. Overall too expensive for this quality food, location and customer service.
We ordered the steak salad. The vegetables and dressing were outstanding. However, the steak was so tough we could not eat it we have to throw it out.
Have been a customer for years and is ALWAYS Excellent!
Sooo delicious and server was so friendly :)
Prices are simply outrageous two entries a fried rice and fresh rolls $75. I could go to anthoneys and have a better experience for the same price. There is a reason there websites menue has no prices.
Extremely disappointed. Saw reviews and thought it was worth a try but sorry now we did. The food was completely flavorless except the plain white rice - not exaggerating. We ended up not eating most of it. We do not want to even think of the price which as several commented, was very high.
I come from a place that lacks a variety of Thai food and to me, this was pretty good. The chicken pad thai was very good but expensive. We had to pay for refills on soda (maybe that's a WA thing). We had spring rolls, 2 plates, 3 sodas and I think it was $68 for two people to eat here.
Please don't go here if you want an unpleasant dine in. The food is subpar, and the prices are insane I understand we are in Normandy Park but they are overcharging for plates. I got a beer and it was expensive. I don't like that if you want soda it's served in a can, for how much I spent here I rather not come again.
Tried this place for the first time today.Food was higher quality than most Thai places around the area. I think they were low on staff cause the service was slow. Prices little higher than expected also ....otherwise good food. Asked for 3 star spicy and I would call it a 1. Spice level was weak.
The food is just OK, way overpriced for mediocre food! Will not be going back.
Quiet little place but way too expensive for the service and food you receive. I understand now why the place was empty when we showed up. If they fix their prices and service maybe we will give them another try.
The Teak House has great food and wonderful friendly service. Will definitely eat here again.
Excellent food and service. Great to go process also
Have been getting take out here for years. Lamb green curry and pork pad Thai are always excellent. The biggest drawback is the prices. It's quite expensive. You don't even get rice with the curry, it's like an additional $3 or $4.
We learned about currys in college from a Thai friend. The Teak House makes Currys that warm the nose and throat. We always have happy tummies. The portions are extremely generous. Try each of the menu items. You will be pleased with the selections.
First let me start of by saying I have been eating at this restauraunt for years. Today my colleagues and I wanted to celebrate a graduation/birthday and we chose Thai food- so naturally I suggested Teak House. There was no wait, in fact when we arrived one person was ahead of us placing a to go order. Then shortly after we received our menus, two men (regulars as they knew the server name) were seated. The waitress gave them very good service- us not so much. She appeared irritated having to wait on us. The lunch menu and specials have been removed. The only option was a new menu. The prices were outrageous. Literally $18.95 for a bowl of noodle soup. I asked for 4/5 stars it was a 1. Also, bland and appeared microwaved... such a disappoint that this great place has changed to something we will NEVER go back to. I have other thai spots that make this place look sad. :(
Yummy, excellent Pad Thai. Large portions
Friendly staff, delicious food!
My favorite places
Independently owned family business. Great quality and customer service. The potions of the food are very generous as well.
So yummy every time.
I always enjoy Yeah House's food, and they're always quick and efficient with takeout orders.
The portions were good, but the flavors were odd in both the panang and the yum nuah
The 3 Star Chicken Phad Thai is a family favorite.
Really thankful that there was a place open to eat amidst most businesses shut down
Food tasted weird. My friend got food poisoning from it.
2 stars because of large portion size.
Worst place , they charge 11 dollars for panang curry with a portion of size more little than my own hand , the lady attending looked like she didnt want to attend or maybe having a bad day , whatever it was not cool
Food is really good for a hole in the wall Thai joint. Staff is really friendly! Prices are typical $20 for a meal and drink. The chicken Satay and the T-2 are my favs.
My favorite Tai place.
Get the Pad See Ew!
Wonderful service, incredible food
Great people operators / really good food love the Teak House Fried Rice!!!
The fried rice is amazing.
Best Thai food in the area.
Nice place. Hard working owners. Very expensive though
A solid choice
Service was great , food was bland and not as great as I remember when I worked in Normonday Park in 2002 - 2007.
Great Thai food, friendly staff
Asked a rando if he'd been here, he recommended it and the fried rice. I got indecisive with all the good looking choices so I put faith in him and got the house fried rice.
Wow, fried rice... Fried. F#*$ing. Rice. Never thought I would enjoy a heaping dish of what's normally relegated to a cheap side so often. My only regret is that I went solo on a trip so I didn't have chance to share and sample a lot more dishes.
Best Thai food around. None of that sickening sweet thick sauce on Pad Thai that some restaurant serves. This place only serves authentic Thai dishes. Fresh ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs. Owners are friendly with great service and the cooks are professional and reliable.
Great food, great service.
A good friend of mine highly recommend this place! Due to the fact the service is nice and quick. The quality of the food is great! I am familiar with the owner and they're very nice people.
Always awesome food.
I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent food here. We tried the garden fried rice with shrimp, excellent for you and your kids. For the fish lovers I definitely recommend the spicy sautéed catfish, which was awesome!!!

Super yummy
I love their chicken fried rice and chicken Pad Thai. The prices might seem a bit high but the portions they give are HUGE so it's definitely worth it. I'll be coming back!
Good food with good service
Really good Thai food, I especially love their avocado fried rice.
Consistently fantastic
Food is great but every time we have gotten take out it takes a very long time. The last time was 25 minutes for 2 orders of Green Curry and there weren't even any diners in the restaurant at the time.
Yum!
Never a disappointment with the food here, always good.
I love the food there
Good food great service freshness on Pointe!
I went to the Teak House as guest of friends. I had never had Tau food before, but really liked it. I definitely plan to return. I was really impressed.
Great Thai.
If you have other options or are on the fence, I'd say avoid. I've been going for a little over a year now. I don't know what's been going on but the quality has dropped.
The last 3 times in a row my order has come with semi-large mistakes. First time it was missing food, which, ok, that happens. Second time the spice levels on all the dishes were way off. I order for an office so all of the meals had different levels, but when I got them they were all 4 star. We had to return and reorder because food that hot just isn't an option for some.
Then most recent time was today. I ordered a large side of rice to split (Along with 3 entree's) because the meals don't come with it (also be aware that most dishes don't naturally come with rice). The rice was dropped from the order because as I was told "Well, you ordered lunch portions, and one of those comes with rice so I didn't think you needed it".
I order for an office, we're not exactly sharing, let alone even eating together. Another quick aside, one order came as chicken, instead of tofu because I was never asked and I guess they assumed again (be VERY specific when ordering on the phone).
The food is fine, as well as the prices. Nothing stellar or horrible but the experiences have finally driven me away. Maybe sometime down the road I'll try it again but for now, I wouldn't recommend it and I won't be back.
We are always in search of great Thai food and this is the place. From Seattle to Puyallup tried a lot of Thai restaurants, this beat them all.
Very good Thai food,,most orders are to go it seems,,so if you only see one group sitting,,,don't take that as not busy because like me you will see 15 people come and go as you sit,,,
Have moved further away and still find myself coming back. I can't find better Thai food anywhere.
Waitress was not friendly. She was mostly captivated by someone's toddler and spent her time and attention there. Quality of the dishes was closer to buying Frozen and heating it up yourself. The chicken with lemongrass tasted nothing like lemongrass and each piece of chicken was exactly sized and shaped.
No added msg. Hands down favorite Thai food place ive found in this state
Best food in the city! A little slow but worth the wait!
really good food. Really bad service. litterally the worst I have experienced.
Enjoy the food. Service is typically a little slow, but always friendly. Just plan ahead.
I have only been once, but I loved their red curry and sweet basil stir fry. Friendly staff, and it was only about 10 min, or less, wait for my take out. Nice atmosphere inside as well.
My go to. Absolutely delicious.
Best place to eat🙏💖
Great food, good atmosphere, and Great People.
Best Thai food in the area. Go on a weekday when they are less busy
The food was different from the regular Thai cuisine but it felt authentic and tasted really good.
Delicious and nice lunch specials.
The absolute BEST Thai food I've ever had! They always tease my husband and I because I get 0 stars and he gets 5 stars! It tastes delicious and the portions are HUGE! You will go out of your way to have them like I do once you've tried them!
Great food.... Great people.
My fav for Pad Thai, Satay, best House Fried rice and good yellow curry
Always good.
Super lunch specials! Great service
Great food, Great Service!
It was okay.. Very busy
Excellent quality
Teak house is a bit of well kept secret. Small strip mall location, but some of the best thai we've had. Generous portions and great service. Highly recommend.
Always good. Always quick. Always craving this food. Teak house is my go to Thai food. The teak fried rice is easily a fan favorite because it has all the meats, lightly salty, slightly sweet, on pointe flavor. Also, the portions are large- most people eat until they are happy the have leftovers for lunch the next day.
Great menu options, quick service. Not many places to sit however. Reasonable prices
DELICIOUS
The best service the owners are so friendly and the food is perfect
Found this by chance and will be back. A wonderful meal! From what we could tell, appears they have a lot of repeat business.
The food here is really good! I have never ordered a bad tasting dish! Tom Kha is my favorite here!
I love this place good food good people
A good selection of tasty Thai food for very reasonable prices. I've ordered from here several times over the years and have always had a consistently good experience.
