Friendly staff, super fresh food. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious! My favorite is the green curry with tofu level 4 spicy - beware it is Thai spicy 🥵 🌶️ Hubby loves the pad Thai and the larb gai. We’ve been here at least 4-5 times and will continue to be regulars here.

Delicious!! Fresh taste. I ordered the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. My partner got the peanut chicken. Both excellent. Wonderful service and very nice atmosphere. I could eat this all the time. We will be back to try more dishes. My belly is happy.

This is a very casual restaurant with wonderful service and amazing Thai food. The wonton soup was the best I’ve ever had. We had spring rolls, fried rice and yellow curry. It was all fabulous.

Some of the best Thai food you can get in the panhandle. Gluten-free options, super friendly, well spoken staff.

Atmosphere: dimly lit, diner feel, mellow music gently playing in background, rather quiet dining spot and not overly loud.

Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, you will be watered, check brought to you.

Menu: lots of Thai and Japanese options. The menu is short and to the point.

Salmon Yuzu: really tasty and the yuzu has a nice tang. The salmon is cut thinly and has a slight chew.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. We got the Kao Soi Noodle Soup and Veggie stir fry with garlic sauce at medium spice and it was INCREDIBLE!

The place was clean and atmosphere was chill.
Soda came in cans (which personally I prefer to fountain).

Overall this place was such a delight and it felt like our waitress genuinely cared that we enjoyed our food. Will be going back for the Kao Soi Noodle Soup ASAP!

Biggest ripoff for us yet. $58.00 and one dinner and spring rolls. Unreal. We live 2 miles away and food not even neat hot. One (1) fortune cookie for that amount. Horrible for our Miramar Beach area.

The food was good considering we owned a Thai restaurant. My only issue was the amount of food for the price, but I don't know their situation. I would definitely give them a try if you never had Thai food. Since I feel they are a good representation of Thai flavors.

I needed a quick lunch heading in for a conference so wanted to steer clear of touristy spots. I inadvertently wandered into one of the most delightful little Thai places I’ve been in a while. My server helped me pick out a dish when I was stuck between two options. Food was out quickly, hot and fresh. The potstickers and pad kee mao hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back.

I ordered shrimp and chicken basil and green curry with shrimp.

I paid $20 for the shrimp and chicken basil dish, and there were only two pieces of shrimp, and the chicken was a small amount of shredded pieces (almost like they were leftovers). Also, the basil tasted spoiled

The green curry had little flavor and only had 2 pieces of shrimp, which cost $17.

Low expectations if you go there. The service was polite but the food was not great and the bathroom was so disgusting that really makes you think about how clean is the kitchen. I'm not coming back

My wife and I came here for dinner and loved it. We ordered two appetizers—the chicken satay and the crab and avocado spring rolls—and both were excellent. Both of our entrées were also delicious—Thai peanut chicken and pad kee mow with beef. We ordered them with medium spice, and probably could’ve gone a little bit hotter.

We enjoyed a very good lunch at Talay. Family of six all enjoyed their lunch. Ingredients were all fresh and several entrees allow personal choice of sauce. Egg roll appetizer was enjoyed by all. We will return again when we are in the Destin area.

We had a few choices of Thai food within a short distance of our hotel, but we are so HAPPY we chose this one!! A very cute, clean and well decorated place. The service was phenomenal and so was the food! Very flavorful and authentic!! The potstickers were unique and very tasty!! Definitely recommend!

This was amazing Thai food. Ambience is a little let down by the kind of "fast food" style tables. Otherwise a great experience. It's about the going rate for sit down food. The food presentation was also a step up vs most Thai places I've been.

Best Thai food I've had in the US!

We stopped here during our cross country drive, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the tomyum soup with shrimp, and red curry stir fry. Everything was so flavorful and tasty.

Authentic and delicious!

OMG, this place is amazing!!! We were in Destin for a week trip and I wanted to eat Thai food so on a whim tried this place. My kids, who are really picky eaters, ate everything off their plate. We loved it so much that we went AGAIN 2 days later. The service was quick, hardly a wait, and the servers were very kind on both visits. Thank you for such great food.

This place was so good and easy it's the only place we ate at twice during our stay. First time had the pad see lew - very good. Got spice on the side and the spice they give you is incredibly good and spicy, mixed in very well even though wasn't cooked with the dish. The second time I had the cashew chicken which was also very good. If you're looking for thai try it out here, we got takeout both times.

Was told I could only get take out as a family of 8 was just getting their drinks. So you can serve a table of 8 but not a party of one?

Delicious 😋 Shrimp Pad Thai!

1st of all, it doesn't look like you typical thai restaurant. It's very clean & modern. The service was spot on. Food was fantastic! We are a family of 7, tried several appetizers (dimsum, sate, thai pot stickers) and then a beef salad (phenomenal!) And our entrees were great. I had the fried tilapia. OMG! Yum yum would definitely come back in our future visit.

My husband and I loved this Thai restaurant! Food was super tasty, dining area was clean, and the staff was friendly! I highly recommend giving this spot a try.

The taste is good considering that your are in a tourist area near Destin. Definitely real Thai ppl back there in the kitchen. But for the price, WHY put iceberg lettuce underneath every dish as a filler to make it look more full. If you are charging $16-$17 for flat noodle dish then put in more noodles. How much could flat noodles cost?

Absolutely delicious food. It is tucked away, so you have to be looking for it, but it is well worth it! Fabulous!! We got three appetizers and four entrees and agreed each was amazing. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices were good. One of my favorite meals on this trip!

a small cafe with delicious and authentic Thai dishes, Thai tea and beer. The Hot Pot with seafood option is perfect for two and the Spring Rolls are the real deal...not the typical chopped cabbage and carrots.

The food was ok. I ordered red curry (chicken) and pineapple curry (veggie) and Tom Yun soup. All items were of average quality. The veggies were raw and not even cooked. The rice bowls were too small that it could fit in palm.. so disappointed ☹️

Tried for the first time tonight. Good, honest Thai cooking with from scratch spring rolls, pot stickers and chicken satay - not pre-fab imposters that go from freezer to fryer. Good Panang and Pad Thai. Simple and tasty.

Food was Good and Service was Great! The interior decor...we'll not sure if it's up for mostly cafeteria style or what. If you're for dining it's not. So I'm not sure as what you would call this style of food service. Would be a Great place for a nice dining experience...only if the interior decor would need an overall.

This place is great! Everything we had was really really good!

Located in a shopping center a few blocks from the beach. Easy to access. Delicious food and great staff. Prices were a little higher compared to some of the similar restaurants I've frequented. Also a smaller/limited menu when compared to other Thai restaurants, but the dinners were flavorful and well worth it.

They have khao soi! It’s my favorite Thai dish and it’s hard to find where I live so I was thrilled to find this here. It was phenomenal. The service was quick and friendly, I wish I lived nearby!

Fried chicken wings and sticky rice are so good. I went back again for the second day in a row just for this! Pad KeeMao is definitely authentic (and I'm Thai, so I'm qualified 😄). Somtum Thai was very good and we also love Wonton soup - Tasted just like kiew-nam in Thailand!

I had the peanut chicken. They give you the option to choose spiciness from a 1-4. I love spicy food and chose 4. It was sooo good! It came with a side of white rice.

Tried based on reviews. Family was not happy with choice but I wanted something different. Food was OK. I got Pad Thai and it was pretty slimy and the beef was gamey. I wasnt able to finish. Wife got beef n broccoli and enjoyed it. The people were very nice and server was friendly. Restaurant has a strange smell to it. Cost $80 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Pretty pricey for what it was. I guess were not Thai food people.

Very clean, casual, comfortable, and friendly service. The food was nothing short of excellent. The sauces were flavorful without being overly oily. The vegetables were plentiful, noticeably fresh, and cooked just the right amount. Only wish we had come here earlier in the trip as it would have earned a second visit.

Coming from Dallas where there is so much Thai options, I feel like this place should have 10 stars. The staff was super friendly and the food was the best we ever had. Our drunken noodle had the perfect ratio of noodles which some places can get wrong. The flavor was on point and the wait for food was fast compared to every Thai restaurant we have ever been to. Super happy to have found this place while vacationing in Destin. The only thing that happened was we were givin someone else ticket but we cleared it up and gotten it fixed. Our ticket was alot more expensive than what we were givin so glad we were honest and fixed it because they don't deserve to lose money especially with the service and food we were served.

I’m not sure how this place got such good reviews. We had it on a Tuesday night. The two of us had Chicken Pad See Iew and Veggie Pad See Iew along with an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were oily and except for 3 or 4 flecks or carrot the were only bean noodles. The Chicken Pad See Iew was unremarkable. The Veggie was the same except the chicken was removed. No additional vegetables! Both entrees looked like they had warmed up old food and added sauce.

That by itself would have earned at least 2 stars however I got violently Ill at 5am and 4 more times after!

The restaurant is decorated with thoughts of the sea which is in its name. It was very clean and comfortable. We had the Raspberry-pineapple fizz which was bubbly and refreshing. A lovely presentation on all the dishes! We received generous portions of the Beef pad see iew, and chicken krapow fried rice. The dishes weren't heavy in oil. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. For dessert we shared mango cheesecake, and mango & sweet sticky rice. The sauces on both were yummy and not overly sweet. The mango on both dishes were ripe, fresh, and tender. Our favorite was mango & sweet sticky rice. The flavors were subtle and the sweet sticky rice was warm and yummy. This is a naturally sweet dessert. The mango cheesecake was the sweeter of both desserts. We happened to be served by the owner. She was very polite and full of smiles. She even gave us ideas for the Destin/Miramar area for when we bring our family to visit. We very much enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant.

Found this little restaurant around the corner from our hotel. They explained the AC was not working before we sat down. The night was comfortable so we stayed. We had Dim Sum and Spring rolls to start . Excellent. Then I had Green Veggie stir Fry and my husband had the salmon. Both were good.

Best Thai Food! I was looking for a great Thai food place, and I found it at Talay Thai Cuisine. Ever since I moved here from California, I have been looking for a great place to get Hot Pot soup. I loved Talay Thai Cuisine's Hot Pot Tom Yum soup, it was delicious and bursting with exquisite spices and flavors. I also loved, loved, loved the Pad Thai. The staff was friendly and I will definitely be coming back to enjoy their food again!

Outstanding lunch at Talay Thai. We went here because of the high reviews (4.9!). It did not disappoint. We started with fresh salad rolls (best peanut sauce!) and crispy spring rolls. Generous portions and every bite was delicious. We shared the peanut chicken entree—very tasty! I also recommend the hot tea—ginger. So good. Our server was wonderful—attentive and timely. We hope to go back before our stay is over.

Had dinner here on a whim- I wasn’t really even in the mood for Thai cuisine but our party talked me into it. This place is amazing. Hands down the best Thai tea I’ve had and the Pad Thai was phenomenal! We were there on a Friday evening and we were the only people there! The woman that served us was so friendly and the service matched the food-excellent!

I got the chicken Pad Thai on medium heat level and it was delicious! The presentation was beautiful. This Thai is top of the line! The owners are so kind and welcoming. Wish we could pick this place up and bring it home with us!

This was the highlight meal of our trip! We were served with attention, kindness, and hospitality. The food was incredible, and the owner told us she and her husband had learned how to cook it from her mother-in-law. Everyone in my party loved their meals. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. Thanks for such a great experience!

We were visiting the area and happened to found this restaurant. We ordered to go dishes. My wife is very picky vegetarian and the lady who took my order was very attentive and get the food cook correctly 100%, which doesn't happen alot. I just want to say thank you and the food quality is very good. We would definitely return if we visit Destin again! Your hard work is not gone unnoticed!

We had a fantastic meal! The garb Lai was fresh and hot! We slurped our noodle soup with gusto! The best Thai meal outside of Thailand. Owners were very attentive...highly recommend

Delicious food! Tastes so fresh, just like home made. We had pad Thai, seafood soup, calamari, yellow curry, avocado crab rolls. Everything was good! Only one picture because pad Thai was on repeat and everything else was eaten very fast :)!

Small cozy atmosphere. Food was very delicious and authentic! The coconut soup was perfect!
I ordered green curry. It was a bit less creamy than I’m used to, but still delicious. My kids had pad Thai and there was nothing left of their meal. The are it all.

Great food and service! Everyone in our party was vegan/vegetarian and we were all able to find options we liked. They even stayed open late for us! Would definitely recommend.

Ordered the house fried rice and pad see ew. Both were absolutely delicious! Also ordered some yummy Thai Teas!

I really enjoyed the experience at Talay Thai, clean and nicely decorated in coastal decor, the menu was very descriptive of each dish, there was a section with the chef's recommendation, which my husband and I tried, I had the Thia peanut chicken, yummy! I liked the combination of chicken with a sweet peanut and coconut sauce with fresh bean sprouts and julienned carrots and onion, served with jasmine rice on the side, I ordered a Thai tea that has become my favorite must have drink with Thai food. It was beautifully plated and the service was excellent, attentive making sure we were happy with our order. Definately will be back.

This place is fantastic! The food was delicious and the owner was so wonderful . She took care of us and made sure we happy the whole time ! We are from St.Louis on vacation and we will 100% be visiting again ! We ordered the seafood hot pot and the shrimp pad thia, outstanding ! If u are looking for a great restaurant with amazing food , stop in this place , you will not regret it !
