Food was not good as their store in Covington,.. but PLEASE NOTE..
It's still 5 stars. The spicy scale is a bit off. I ordered 4 out of 5. I got what I felt was Zero Stars. They do (if you ask, give you condiments that are both spicy and flavourful. I will be coming back as I think this is a newer restaurant (at least I have not noticed it before tonight, and it's next to Fred Meyer where I shop) and they deserve a chance to break in the building and staff.
I did have a wonderful time.
I waited for forty minutes to get my food and didn’t get ANYTHING! I ordered ahead and it wasn’t ready when I arrived. I sat and watched many other people come in, get their food, and leave in minutes, but I NEVER got my food. Unbelievably terrible customer service. They knew I was there too, they didn’t care. I will not be back and will tell everyone I know not to go there. Don’t go here unless you want to wait for a long time for crappy service. If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat.
Amazing owners and the best Thai food I have ever had, hands down. The service is always great and quick even when ordering in person to go, sometimes there is a wait (because of how popular they are) but it’s never long. Definitely a gem! I couldn’t recommend this place more.
The shrimp avocado green curry in the special menu is pretty good, the only thing I’d like to reminder is that, I ordered 1 star spicy level, but finally it feels like 3 star to me, so just a soft reminder that this restaurant‘s spicy level is little bit higher than others. The pad thai is good, and the crab woo-ton also tastes good. So overall I’ll rate this place 4 stars, well if Google can support half star, I’ll definitely give them 4.5.
Have tried for dine in and take out. All the staff is very friendly and food is a must have! Tastes like quality meat and just the right amount of sauce and seasonings, rather than sourcing in sauce to mask the overall dish. The decor inside is modern and cute and dining in feels warm and intimate rather than trying to squeeze and many tables in as possible. Will continue to go back many times
The food quality was actually quite good. And the atmosphere was nice with pleasant background music. But the service was almost non existent which was sad since the food that I eventually received was good. And one more thing: I understand that prices have increased in the past few years. But when their own website menu differs greatly from the current menu prices, that’s just plain wrong, lazy, and borders on deception.
Didn't notice a hair in food until already almost finished with the fried rice. I don't think they properly wear hair nets. You can easily see into the kitchen and check for yourself.
Ordered takeout, and they even forgot one of our orders, so we had to drive all the way back. Save yourself the time and money and make a trip to another Thai restaurant that doesn't pressure you into tipping when you order takeout.

Every nice place, food was amazing compared to most Thai places, highly recommend.
Very poor customer service. Grown adults that can't use manners. Treat delivery drivers like garbage.

Atmosphere included relaxing music and quiet, respectful service. But best of all - the food - outstanding.
Food is delicious! Best Thai around, really enjoy this place!
We’ve eaten here many times and have enjoyed it everyone. Usually they are really busy with to go orders but tonight was pretty mellow.
Great food. Super busy with take out orders so they must be good. Only 1 person trying to work the dining area, phones, and cash register. Friendly and good service so we'll come back.

Great food the cushions are very comfortable
I love this place. Good food. Staff is really friendly. The cusioned seating is really comfortable! Try their yellow curry!
Food was delicious, and the environment in the restaurant is so peaceful and relaxing!
This is one of our local go-to spots for takeout!
Good Thia food.

Great food. Great Service.
Excellent food, but the seats are a little hard. Also, if the day is hot, then the restaurant is hot.
I loved it so much! It was a great environment with amazing service and the food was delicious 😊
The Washington food safety rating here is 2/4. And we're in a state that's already lenient with things like this. This alone should turn people away from this place. My wife had a red piece of plastic in her food.
Yummy pad Thai. My go to Thai in maple valley. Good combination of price and quality.
update.. I thought I would go back to see if maybe it was an off day. But no. Fresh spring rolls were dried out and stuck together. Had more lettuce in them than other ingredients, and the noodle dish i ordered was just meh. won't be back unfortunately
Food was terrible.. service was even worse.. will not be back!!
Another great place for Phad Thai. They use the thinner noodle. The spice rating was done right, which is rare for Thai restaurants for some reason. The prices here, awesome!
Nice little place. The staff are attentive and hard-working. The food is typically good, but the quality does vary between different visits.
The worst Thai food I have ever had, ordered the pad thai and literally was dry noodles with absolutely no taste, the red curry also had no taste, it was small portion and we still didn’t finish it, we also had the garlic chicken which was ok. If you are on a health kick, this place is for you, I am Asian and we eat all types of Asian food like Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese etc.
i know my Thai food and this is horrible! not much more to say but yuk
Maple Valley place is better than Covi. Clean& remodeled. Generous lunch portions. Panangs.& Kee Maos -our fave. Bao rice - healthy & deelish. Covi place is dirty & disorganized. Go@ night soU don't see it like that.
Go to the Covington location
Have tried for dine in and take out. All the staff is very friendly and food is a must have! Place was great! Got the Thai Fried Rice and I'd say the quality and quantity were a little above average. The service however was fantastic and the atmosphere really invited you in.
Flavors are weak, price vs flavor isn’t there, and price vs amount of food is a bad ratio. They really need to pick one because having neither sucks.
Pad Thai was so sweet I could barely taste anything. Calamari was over cooked and rubbery. I ended up giving the prawn asparagus dish to my dogs. The fried rice was actually pretty good. I picked up an order and was told 20 min, but showed up after 40 and still had to wait 20 min for a total of an hour.
I have eaten here twice, and had the same experience both times (little food that was expensive, lacked flavor, and took forever to cook). I forgot which Thai restaurant in maple valley was the “eh” one I intended to avoid, and confirmed it was this one the 2nd time I visited.
For years our go to Thai place was the Covington location. So, when we saw Benjarong was adding a location to Maple Valley to say we were excited is an understatement. The first time we ate there the atmosphere was cold and harsh, and the food was not on par with the other location. We gave it a few more tries, it’s just not as good.
Good food. Not as hot as I like but very good use of spices.
I haven’t even eaten half of my food and I already know I will be coming here very often! Yellow curry reminds me so much of a restaurant up north it’s amazing. Crab Rangoons great as well, spice levels are right on and proportions are great. Definitely get the double chicken for only $1 more! Sooo sooo good to the people who work here :)
Food is good!
Best chicken pad Thai in the maple valley/covington area
THIS IS EASILY THE BEST THAI FOOD IN THE AREA!!! The people are great too! I love this place SO much.
Best Thai food in maple valley/covington area in my opinion. Delicious beef pad see ew and chicken pad Thai. Will be going back very soon!
Best Thai food in town. Comparable to great Thai restaurants in Bellevue. Noodle dishes are always excellent, garlic chicken is wonderful and many other dishes we’ve tried. Just surprised with the low rating. It took us awhile to try them. Now it’s our go-to thai restaurant.
This Pad Thai is probably the best I've had around. Nobody gets the flavor right; and to Pad Thai lovers, I think you know what I mean.
I had to get this a second time just to make sure I wasn't crazy.. it really is that good.
I think the 'spicy' level is a great balance of sweet, hot, and sour. Good use of tamarind, right amount of sour.
I will go be going back for this
One of my favorite Thai places! I can't believe how low their rating is? I've been coming here for years and everything is incredibly tasty! And their customer service is the absolute best!
Love the fact that there is an option to have something other than Pizza!
Update 1/28 @ 8:10PM. The food was fantastic tonight! We had the Crispy Garlic Chicken and Pad Thai; the food lately had been hit or miss, but tonight it was off the charts! Keep the chef pay them more, do whatever it takes to keep them. Thank you for the delicious, tasty food!
The first time I ordered a couple different entrées it was amazing. But unfortunately the last two times we’ve ordered the same entrées they have been bland and the noodles honestly felt like they’ve been sitting for quite some time. Don’t think I’ll give it another try because it’s not cheap and this last time we got it it went straight into the garbage it was that bad. I am giving it the three stars because the staff is very friendly and like I said the first time was great so I know that they’re capable of making good food.
They accepted my DoorDash pickup order even though their restaurant was closed. Had to drive to the restaurant just to find that.
Waste of money. No spice even when I asked for it. They charge a lot for poor quality.
The most friendliest service ever, love this place, seafood is a must try, and their pineapple fried rice is a big portion! The atmosphere is very inviting and their menu is filled with variety of Thai food not found in other Thai restaurants.
Ordered a fried rice with medium spice (that's between mild and spicy). What comes out is ultra spicy rice. I'm not newbie on Thai food. I have been to many Thai place and this is definitely not medium. This is so spicy that my mouth hurts. You can see the photo, that's way too many red spices. And other noodle dish I ordered with medium spicy, has no spice. It was mild.
I went to order around 3:30pm it was not even busy at all and if you can't get this simple task right, you will lose customers.
Since I did not receive a product that I ordered I'm going to have to dispute my transaction.
This is not the first time this restaurant makes this kind of mistake. Almost every time they mess up an order, therefore giving it 2 stars.
Usually ready or nearly always...
Extremely rude staff and food isn’t that good. I can see why it’s only rated 3.5 stars.
Some of the best curry I've ever had. Great service and good prices.
The owner is so rude and responds in a very rude way but the food is good
Go thai food.
Not recommended food.
Best food of my life.
Literally the best restaurant in maple valley. Been going here for two years and nothing beats how nice these people are.
So delicious!
We had an order of crispy garlic chicken last night that at first bite was mushy and tasted a little weird. After a couple more bites I cut into a piece to find it was all BREADING. Other pieces were the same with a tiny bit if chicken here and there. We are talking like 3/4 of the dish was breading. It was absolutely disgusting!
Mediocre food and horrible service towards customers and delivery service employees.
I’m a Doordasher and recently I was told by the owner that they do not like using this company for their delivery service. My customer’s order was not filled until all the customer’s in the restaurant were taken care of. Then the order gets put in. For tonight example. I accepted it at 6:53pm. It’s 7:30 and still hasn’t submitted my customer’s order. Please folks be very wary when ordering from this store.
Good portions and quality ingredients. Service lacking
Not sure what's up with all the negative reviews, could just be fussy eaters. Decided to give this place a go and the food was excellent compared to other establishments I've been to in the Seattle metro area. It's nice to have a decent Thai place close to home. I will definitely be back for more.
The food was not as expected. I ordered fried rice and the rice was too overcooked.
Super!
Super show service
Good food,cheap atmosphere
How unpleasant the owner is, she is very rude! their food is good but the service is worse than bad. She has no staff and she alone cannot .... the service is super slow, it takes a long time to deliver the food .... she answers in a bad way. I like food but she can't bear to see it, it's very rude
Slow for being only 2 tables
Place has a terrible wait they cut the vegetables on the floor and over the trash can!
Amazing food, amazing staff. Ive never in my life had better customer service. I would give a million stars if I could.
Oily food. Chicken wasn't cooked well either. Very very disappointing.
Really good choice of dishes with amazing freshness.
Great food, fast service
Forgettable pad Thai.
I love this place. Go to for Thai food in my area. Very nice astetichs. The food is great to. Good prices and a nice lunch special makes the the choice Thai. Also they have some the the best Thai tea I've had.
Ordered take out to be delivered. Ordered spicy tofu pad thai with no onions. Got the tofu, with zero spicy (waaaay too sweet to eat) and of course little chunks of onion.
Thanks but no thanks for ruining my night.
Good food for the price and area. Not the best Thai in Washington but the best Thai in MV. Pretty basic.
Bad service and food wasn’t cooked all the way!
Quality Thai takeout.
Ruined mother's day dinner for our family. We ordered at 6pm through Uber Eats, and they cancelled the order at 7:30pm. We tried calling many times in between to ask about the delay but no one picked up. Then cancelled the order without a phone call.
We have been coming here for years and they still have great food and friendly service. We are thankful they are open right now for carry out orders!
We ordered 2 meals and both were disgusting, the pad thai was just noodles in sweet and sour sauce. Nothing was made how we asked. We tried to bring the issue up to them and they pretty much didnt care and said oh well sorry. I would not recommend this place
My husbands Paid Thai smells like fish sauce and his chicken was gray. My tofu was cooked on only one side. We ate the spring rolls before opening our entree. I’m hoping we don’t get food poisoning. We had to trash the rest of the food.
Had two orders that were smaller portions then usual and not fully cooked. Brought food back and was told that they’re so small because they’re lunch portions. I informed her and showed her one was twice as full as the other and it was under cooked. Kept telling me there was nothing they could do. Finally got them to recook the meal atleast. Not up to prior standard meals and service was poor.
Seafood Tom Kha Soup and Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice.
Lots + Lots of seafood in the soup.
Muscles, scallops, shrimp- yummy.
Good flavor to the rice with seasoning and cashews and pineapple.
Authentic and made with care! The ladies at Benjarong embody Thai cuisine! We are repeat customers and I rarely write reviews but they deserve to be MUCH higher than their current score.
THANK YOU FOR PERFECT PAD THAI
Unfortunately my son bought me dinner two nights ago from here. What a waste of money. The fried spring rolls had a filling that was slimy army green, unidentifiable, and had very little of it which was actually a blessing. The texture in my mouth was just too much! Gross. The fried prawns? Nothing but a wrapped prawn fried. No spices, no flavor. Blah. I coulda done that myself at home! First and last visit. Neither myself nor my son will be back.
The food was outstanding, and the ambience was really nice
Nice area descent parking lot and love Asian food could be better and or way worse but I’m leaning more on positive side
This place is AWESOME! Great and authentic tasting curry, Tom Kha and Satay Chicken! My new favorite Thai restaurant!! 😁👍
Check your order. Get them to repeat it back to you. They gave us only 2 out of 3 items ordered and did not offer to fix it. Do not order take out. Not a good customer experience. Just disappointing.
The restaurant was almost empty and yet the wait was long for our order. Staff was not particularly friendly, and really didn't follow up with us as far as any needs. For the first time I experienced being told that if they brought me additional hot water, I would be charged for another teabag.
It was a disappointing experience apart from the great people I brought with me for dinner.
Love the food.
Nice little place. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
Love it
Really terrible. Really. Had indigestion
Great food!
First visit here we got take out, phad thai, fresh rolls and curry stir fry vegetables. Everything was mediocre. Nothing stood out as particularly well done, the peanut sauce was half oil settled on the bottom of the dish, the veggies were over cooked and the noodles were mushy and bland.
The food was delicious, staff was attentive and it was quick!
I like their fried rice.
Good food.
This is by far my favorite Thai Restaurant! They even offer whipped cream on the iced tea. (Optional.) Last time I got the chicken noodle soup only without meat. That including the tea was barely $20, so it's inexpensive for 1 to a few people. Large groups are a different story, so you might not want to go crazy. They also have Phad Thai and stuff like that.
Delightful, tasteful meals, can customize to fit your dietary needs. Staff is always friendly. Cute lil neat place, with plenty to choose from
Unbelievably horrible service. Super slow. Waited 45 minutes to have our order taken! 20 minutes later we left as they were making no progress on filling any orders. Have had the food here before and it was just okay. Don't waste your time here. Go to Maple Valley Thai over by Safeway instead. They are awesome!
Always have to go here when working in the area
Personally I think this is the best Thai food in the area. The restaurant is impeccably clean, the staff are very cordial oh, and the food is always amazing. Even the presentation, like the spring rolls, elicits a wow when it comes to the table.
Good food, good price.. service was a little slow.. getting your food the same time as everyone else at the table was a challenge for the staff.. overall pretty darn good
Best thai in the area! We especially like the chicken phad thai, crispy garlic chicken, chicken fried rice and garlic prawns!
Be careful phone number for maple valley goes to Covington location
I tried to order from this restaurant through door dash. I received a call at the time the food was supposed to be arriving saying the restaurant cannot accept this order and won’t fulfill the order. Do not frequent this restaurant.
This place always seems upset that we’ve called to place an order and when we go to pick the order up, the lady seems put out by having to do something. Just go to Maple Valley Thai down the road. If it’s Sunday, sadly, MV Thai is closed - Wait until the next day.
Food ok, service not great.
I have always loved the Covington location, as they have excellent food and fast, friendly service. Wish we'd stuck with that location instead of going to Maple Valley last evening. We were the only people seated in the restaurant, but it took an hour after our arrival to be served our meal. There was a steady stream of call-in customers who were waiting for long periods of time, there appeared to be confusing over some of their orders, the phone was ringing off the hook, and the harried lady kept saying that she had no control over the kitchen. Clearly they were short-staffed in the kitchen! Perhaps the hour-and-a-half length of our visit was an anomaly, but I will never again take my chances.
Very good food!! Would recommend to friends.
Love the food and the atmosphere.
Food is pretty good but the seats and accommodations are lacking. Hard plastic and wood seating with well worn throw pillows.
I think this place's food keeps getting better. The dining room itself is nothing special and the service gets slow when they are busy, but the food is delicious and you can get UberEats tho being it to you.
Don't bother. I got the fresh rolls and they had no basil, were poorly rolled 1 tiny shrimp which was split in half & 1 tiny carrot. In 5 fresh rolls there was 2.5 total shrimp. It was basically poorly rolled lettuce. I will never go here again. Anyone can make better fresh rolls then this place.
Good Thai.
This place could be so much better if they would only offer basic customer service. One example is the custom order. When somebody places a custom order, and you agree to produce it, don't sigh, return with a plate with two-thirds of the requested ingredients, and then when this is pointed out, tell the customer that the additional cooked items will be placed at the back of the queue and require a very long wait. No, that's how you lose more business to restaurants like Maple Valley Thai.
A restaurant can only be as good as the ingredients they use to make the food. This place, at best, is a semi-homemade quick serve Thai place. The names of the food and the decor are Thai. Their food tastes like it was made with store bought pastes and ingredients. The lack of fresh produce used in their pad Thai and curries produces a rather bland and lifeless attempt at traditional Thai cuisine. There is no lemongrass or green onions anywhere to be found in the final product and if you are wondering what lemongrass tastes like, it is the distinct flavor that makes Thai food taste different than other Asian cuisine. There is also a surprising shortage of actual Thai chilies, so even the spiciest you order it will probably be much weaker than a standard bottle of Tapatio hot sauce.
Now with that said, I do give it 2 stars simply for existing in an area where fast food and pizza are king. Maple valley doesn’t exactly have a very diverse food scene so the fact that this place is an island of Asian cuisine in a field of pizza and fast food is a plus, but if you are expecting the Thai food you had in college or in Seattle, you will be very disappointed. You could probably make this food with a couple of YouTube lessons and a trip to Fred Meyer for 1/4th the price of this place.
Highly recommend
Really great food, definitley my number one choice for thai in the area! Crispy garlic chicken, tom yum soup and pad thai are my all time favs here!
Nice
Great food and very friendly service. Not sure why some people gave bad reviews.
Just came back from Benjarong Thai Restaurant in 4-Corners, Maple Valley. It was a satisfying meal for my wife and myself. Their Pad Thai noodles were very good. And their Trout Salad was wonderful. Really the best restaurant salad I have ever eaten. However, their pineapple rice dish was kinda bland. Their service was good.
Nummy
Very average, not worth the price when there are better options nearby
Friendly service, and good Thai food tucked away and a shopping center. Will be back when I am visiting my family in town.
Good sized lunch portions, not the best in town but delicious all the same. Nearly empty during lunch, very prompt service
Absolutely the best Thai restaurant around. Spring rolls are made fresh from scratch and all ingredients always taste fresh and flavorful. I've tried other Thai restaurants around town and this takes the cake by far. Give it a try and you won't go anywhere else.
Great food. Our go2 for thai
