Lao & Thai family run resaurant
Cozy Thai-Lao restaurant with authentic Lao food (Thai & Lao are neighbors!) I had Sai-Ua (just like Northern Thai sausage), Hor-Mhok Pla (steamed fish with herbs & spices in banana leaves) my favorite one!!, and Som-Tum (papaya salad). Lovely friendly service and yummy food :)
Food was great. This was a recommendation from several friends to try for good authentic Lao food.
Service was bad... We needed a large table to accommodate 11 people, there were none so we took 2 booths. Then an opening for a large table came up before the dishes were out and when I asked the server they replied: we never said no.
Then I overheard them bickering to each other with half English half their native language, I can put the pieces together and understood is as they were upset that we caused them trouble and won't move any tables together (those were said in English). There were only our group and another one in the restaurant, it was a quiet Saturday dinner time.
Overall, the food was good, the service was really slow, and they were trying to be smiley in front of our faces but I can hear them being upset behind the counter, probably about our request for tables for a large group.
So.. if you are okay with rudeness but want good food, this is a good place to try.
This fusion of Laotian and Thai cuisine is just wonderful! I love their pineapple fried rice and also their mango sticky rice for dessert! Love the vibe there and the food is just so tasty! Would recommend a try!

A standout restaurant that constinently delivers piping hot, fresh, and flavorful food filled with character and cooked with passion. I order here all the time. I am obsessed with their food and let me tell you it is top quality. Garlic dish is great, cashew chicken, yellow/panang curry, Prik King, spring rolls, Crab Delight, pad Thai (my girl thinks it's too fishy but I love it), everything is great. The spice levels are executed fantastically flavor-wise and are more intense than other restaurants (I order 5* π€€). Slightly more salt in their food than other restaurants but I prefer it this way. Bursting with flavor, Sabai Sabai knows how to perfectly season their food!
I had six orders of pad. Chicken, beef and tofu and two orders of rice. The cost was insane for the complete lack of proteins. I paid $140 for $20 of noodles and rice. The smell was that of dumpster and my entire family wouldn't even touch it. I went to put it in the fridge and my wife said it would be better to just throw it away.
I had the khao poon and loved it!
Love their food and it's reasonable too.
Good food and great service

I got the Lao beef jerky, chicken noodle soup, and tofu fresh rolls. All of which amazing. Beer is a great price. Staff helpful and nice. Pretty clean. Free parking. Would come again
staff are great food amazing can't recommend this place enough
Crab Delights are amazing! You know it's good food if the wong tongs are good!
NA
My mae nyai passed away several years ago. Her cooking has always been a cherished childhood memory! I moved to the area and found Sabai sabai and let me tell you that this is the most authentic you can get here! Every time I go I feel like Iβm eating at home! If you want to eat Lao food but arenβt sure where to go. Sabai sabai is where you should go! Saap saap! Ma der ma der!
I ordered shrimp tempura and spring rolls ( random craving for those 2 specific items) so this review is based on those two items. The tempura was soggy and dripping with oil and the shrimp looked like the frozen one that comes in a box at the grocery store. The fried spring rolls had chicken in it that tasted like days old chicken that gets that gamey smell. I would say remove those two items from the menu because you don't know how to make them. Stick to the items that people left good reviews about.
Sabai Sabai Lao & Thai Cuisine in Lynnwood is phenomenal. The burst of flavors from every dish we ordered was a pleasant surprise.
My brother took my family and I here back in May 2023. I had to be careful with my new allergies and alerted the kitchen staff to separate the nuts out on some dishes.
Here are some of the dishes we ordered:
* NAM KHAO - Toasted pieces of rice with a bit of heat (sans peanuts for me). It was so flavorful and even more delicious with the crunchy green lettuce, and topped with their lime fish sauce.
* CRAB FRIED RICE - My family enjoyed this without me but I know it looked delicious! Darn these new seafood allergies!
* PAPAYA SALAD - Sweet, sour, tangy, refreshing papaya salad. This was very flavorful and we enjoyed it with the other dishes.
* SAI OOUA - Simply presented, this Lao Sausage was unexpectedly delicious. Add some lettuce and sliced carrots for added texture and crunch!
* KHAO PIA SEN - A comforting and delicious Lao chicken noodle soup made with handmade noodles!
* EGG ROLLS - Crunchy appetizer that we all enjoyed.
* STICKY RICE - This came with one of the dishes and it was great. I loved the little container it came in.
* PA LAD PRIK - This was my favorite dish here. The fried fish was covered in a flavorful thin gravy and crunchy veggies. I loved this dish!
We had other dishes that were all delicious.
The ambiance was nice during the time we dined here. I liked the simple decor of the wooden Thai statues at the front. The servers were all friendly and they accommodated our special dietary needs.
There were plenty of parking spaces when we came. I had a large rental SUV and some spaces were pretty tight. Just be careful if in case you drive a larger vehicle.
Overall, we loved the delicious food and the welcoming staff, and the comfy ambiance. Highly recommend this place for anyone with an adventurous palate or just want to try something new.
The staff is knowledgable about the menu and how to accurately pace them into a meal with separate appetizer, then soup or salad comes, followed at a reasonablw interval by the entrees. Some their specialties like Nam Khao Crispy Rice Salad and Sai Moua lemongrass sausages are Incredible and you will love them. Plus, some of their staples like Garlic Prawns and Beef Salad are bettter than the average versions at any other place. All presented in the beautiful plating they've mastered. Service at this place is always en-pointe with friendly smiles and utter perfection. This Thai-Lao restaurant is in the top-tier of the handful who really stand out. Keep up the good work!
love their laos signatures. never disapppoint each visit.
I came here because it was βauthenticβ. I enjoy Pad Thai but here, they do not use the traditional tamarind sauce. The Thai tea was delicious. It was definitely authentic and was not the instant mix. I put a 4/5 specifically because of the non authentic pad Thai
Our favorite takeout in the area!
We order way too much and it is always amazing!
Iβve eaten here once and it was every delicious.
As a delivery driver, they make you wait forever for orders because they donβt start them until we arrive there, wasting our time. We donβt get paid to wait, so why would we spend 15 minutes waiting on top of the time spent driving there and then still having to drive to the customer for usually less than $10? Quit wasting peoplesβ time
By far the best Thai restaurant I have experienced outside of Thailand.
Extremely generous portions and prices, friendly staff, and attention to detail.
If you're coming back down the highway from a fat mountain adventure, do not pass this place. The Phad Kee Mao with extra egg and tofu is unbelievable.
The red crew with tofu is also epic.
Do not pass on the fried banana ice cream dessert. Dear Lord.
You're welcome
Food was too sweet. We ordered crispy basil chicken, green curry and pad thai. To our surprise, entire order was way too sweet in taste.
Authentic Thai northeastern/ Laotian cuisine. We are surprised and happy to find this hidden gem. The price is also very reasonable, large portion !
So much flavor and perfect portion. Better than all the Thai places Iβve been too.
Delicious
Everything we had was outstanding. We had Tom Yum soup, Phad Thai, Pineapple curry fried rice, and Phad cashew chicken. I am usually pretty critical of most places we eat but I couldnβt find anything to nit pick here at all. LOVED IT!! Cant go wrong here.
I had the tom yum, as for me there were huge pieces of mushrooms that tasted raw. The shrimp were either not fresh or overcooked, but they didnβt taste good either. The waitress approached us with a poker face, and when we needed napkins or the check, she was busy talking to another employee and did not pay attention to us. (We were only customers in the restaurant). Disappointed π
I'd never had Lao food before and didn't know what to expect, and I have to say I was blown away. Sabai Sabai is now a part of our regular dinner rotation.
Truly a great place. Food is delicious. You also get a free magic show.
βEat yo vegetables!β π
LOVE Sabai! Try the Lao phad Thaiβ¦so delicious. Nice atmosphere with booths and lots of live plants.
Tom Kha soup is the best I've ever had, and they do crab rangoons the right way. I got the Nam Khao lettuce wraps and they were absolutely spectacular. Others in my group got the pad Thai and massaman curry and they had absolutely zero complaints. This place is a must go if you love Thai food and want it done the right way!
Great food!
Delicious! The Panang Curry and Black Rice Pudding in my opinion deserves an award.
We always order to go and the front desk staff has always been friendly. This is our favorite to-go for Thai food. We order the Thom Kha soup on a regular basis and it's the best we have found in the area. We also get the pad Thai and Rama (peanut sauce delight) and have never been disappointed with the food or portions.
Incredible food, generous portions (Iβm enjoying my leftovers for lunch), fair pricing, clean and beautiful interior. Our server went above and beyond and without us asking provided a small bowl with our Pho for my daughter so I could portion out a smaller amount and it would cool faster. Parents will understand how thoughtful and helpful this was. I canβt wait to go back.
We liked our food here.
The food is always amazing. I get the kua mi Lao and it's always nummy. My partner gets the panang curry and he agrees the flavor is amazing. This place deserves more foot traffic. Staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious.
I ordered the yellow curry lunch special with the pad Thai and crab rangoon. The curry and crab rangoon were decent enough, but the pad thai tasted like noodles with ketchup. It definitely was not something I would order again. I would probably give other Thai food restaurants a shot prior to returning here.
This is my #1 Thai restaurant in Snohomish county, and I'm picky. There are plenty of Thai options out there, but I find most to be generic and Americanized; Sabai Sabai tastes authentic, super flavorful, and delicious. My favorite dishes are the panang curry, crab delight, phad see ew, and the phenomenal homemade coconut ice cream. Seriously, the ice cream is incredible. I appreciate that they pay attention to specific requests (many restaurants don't), and most importantly to me, they are super consistent. I have ordered from them many times (using Doordash), and have never had a disappointing order. Very rare, highly recommended.
I specifically come here for their Khao Piak Sen soup. It is sooooo good, I am addicted. I come here every week, sometimes multiple times. The broth is very flavorful and clean and the noodles are always perfectly chewy. A++++ highly recommend.
Great service and good food.
Had a great experience here. The staff was very kind and quick. Good portions. Had the pineapple curry fried rice it was fantastic:)
I've been meaning to come here after seeing a post about this place on Instagram months ago, and I'm so glad I finally was able to come here. We got fresh spring rolls, Phad Moo Grob, and Nam Khao. It was all soooo good! Definitely going to keep coming back or get to-go the next time we need Lao or Thai food.
The staff was also great with my 3 year old. She loved the food too - closed her eyes and enjoyed her bites while saying "mmmmm"! π
Our favorite Thai place in the area. Tofu Red Curry is best around! Pad Woon Sen is always done well. Fresh rolls are fantastic. Service is fantastic as well. We have never been disappointed ordering food from Sabai Sabai!!
Ordered phad grapao kaidow, Khao piak sen, nam Khao, and sakoo yat sai. Very unique restaurant, offered a lot of dishes I haven't seen in other thai restaurants. All their dishes were quite good, my favorites were the tapioca wrapped meatballs and Khao piak sen. No individual dish was 5 stars but the sum of the whole is worth 5 stars.
Very friendly service. The food was fantastic. Will definitely be dining again here soon
Hands down, the BEST Thai food I've ever had, and that's saying something. I could literally drink the sauce π Big garlic fan. Love peanut phad prik khing and phad garlic. I'm not a huge fan of their pad Thai, it's a little too fishy and dry for my taste but my husband loves it. I'm never disappointed. Very consistent in taste and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Best tomyum soup i have ever taste in my life
My favorite Thai place in the Seattle area. I get cravings for the yellow curry and the fried rice is just perfect. Please support this place!
I love this place. The food is excellent and it's consistently excellent. I usually get the yellow curry and fried rice, but everything I've had has been great. I've dined in once but gotten delivery many times (even after moving a bit further away) and it's always top tier, and it's not overpriced. I really appreciate this place and wish them the best.
Spicy level 2 can feel like more of a 3 depending on who cooked the food that day but overall the food here is a great option if youβre craving Thai food. Iβve ordered here at least ten times so far over the last several months and quality, taste, etc is pretty consistent. Portions are a good size overall too. Will keep coming back with the experiences Iβve had thus far.
This is the one of the best Thai Lao food places Iβve been to. The food is is really good and their service is great!!!
Amazing food and amazing place
AMAZING SERVICE AND DELICIOUS FOOD! Lemonade top 3. They serve the lemonades in frozen mugs, and it had a cute elephant on it.
Spring rolls authentic. The crunch was amazing.
Seats give you freedom.
Beverage ginger ale bedford's best ginger ale I've ever had in my damn life.
Silveware, well made, well designed, it has a little turn in there. Just quality. This place screams quality.
The waiter said that the broccoli and the pad thai was a great idea, he will have it later.
The soup was so much in quantity!! And the rice comes in a cute pyramid shape.
Green tea in a fancy cup, with another miniature pot of green tea, two packets total. For 2.50. Value.
Highly recommended and good price
I'd tried multiple dishes of which some I would order again such as: Chrispy Basil Chicken, Nam Khao, and Pad Grapao Kaidow. I did find that "Chrispy Basil Chicken" is not consistent - sometimes it's too salty while the other time it's just about right. But overall, I do recommend this restaurant.
The Nam Khao was so delicious! Great food, really friendly staff. What a good find in the north end.
Was craving Lao food and this was the closest one to my hotel.
I stopped in for lunch on a weekday. No line or wait. Sat down immediately and placed my order. I ordered Kapoon and Sai Koo.
Portions were huge. I got 10 pieces of Sai Koo. My bowl of Kapoon was plenty. Flavor was on point to my liking. Enough to satisfy my cravings. I also ordered a Thai Tea and it was good.
Definitely will be back if Iβm in the area again.
Somewhat dark atmosphere for me but excellent service and food. Quite tasty!
The Pad See Ew (stir-fried noodles) pretty bomb, coming from someone who don't usually like Pad See Ew!! I also enjoyed the Phas Moo Grob (crispy porkbelly). Definitely enjoyed the sauce flavoring, though it may be too heavily sauced for others (the current amount is perfectly sauced, any lighter and it'll be no longer be authentic - the cook is amazing)
Definitely recommended for the Hmong and Lao community, as well as others who craves Lao food.
Excellent
Pretty good Thai place.
Great place for Thai and Laos food and would recommend over the others in the area.
This is my favorite thai place in this area.
The food has been top quality always .
I have had the pad thai , panang ,red and green curry and the pad see yew with chicken and tofu.
Everything has turned out great every time.
I am sure the dining experience would be the same .
Highly recommended!!

I'm a gig driver and one of the perks of this job is finding the authentic restaurants. Not only this, but making relationships with these business owners. Today was the day! I was between shifts and had an opportunity to get a quick lunch. I was not disappointed. I order online often but I don't order things like Calarmi because...well. Having a crisp, light fry and a tender middle is required and they did not disappoint! Tom Kha soup also very delicious. They are top 2 for Thai Restaurants in the area.
Sooooo good!! Went here for a date night and had Lao food for the first time, blew my mind! I got the Mi Gratee and was so pleased. Such good flavors and portion sizes. The service was great and the ambiance was super relaxing. Great price too, super glad we gave it a try!
Love this restaurant. Great portions and average prices. Taste is good. Ample space.
I particularly love spicy Thai, and this place is THE BEST. I ordered pad kee mao and it is by far the best I have ever had in this area π€©π€©π€©
Iβve had good food and experiences here in the past. Still havenβt ordered enough off of their menu to know what I think about it.
We ordered 2 dishes that are go-tos and one off the Lao authentic menu.
Before we did, I asked the server if it was good. No explanation of the dish, but she did say that it was popular, so we decided to give it a try.
She dropped the food off but never came by to ask how it was.
The dish wasnβt what I imagined from the explanation, the tapioca balls were extremely hot & sticky with flavorless, dry meat inside and then you just wrap a piece of plain lettuce around the hot sticky ball. No accompaniments, sauce, etc.
Anyway, we went to let her know up at the counter that we didnβt like it. She didnβt respond, ask any questions or drop by the table, she kept her head down.
When it was time to pay, she gave us a total for the charge without the receipt.
I asked to see a receipt, to which she was offended. She asked why I wanted a receipt (which should come with any purchase standard). I told her I wanted to know if she charged us for the dish that we didnβt like or eat (neither here nor there, I just wanted to know). She said we never told her to take it off the bill and then proceeded to ask if we took a bite. We told her we had (which is generally what people do to determine if food is good) and then she said well if we tried it she canβt refund it.
Again, beside the point, no need for a refund - just asking for transparency so I can decide how much to tip from there.
All in all, the food is alright and the service pretty awful.
Best authentic Lao food Iβve ever tasted here, maybe ever. Lao sausage, papaya salad, Larb, etc all the food Iβve ordered here has been super excellent.
Great Lao food
It was nice surprise to find a good Thai food restaurant in this area. Portion of food is good which is also price is decent, we can order a few more dishes than usual. Loved every dish we ordered too. We will definitely come back.
Delicious
The food in here is tasty yummy. Then the saff were very friendly and kind.
Great! I'm from Sacramento, CA. We love our Thai and Lao food over here in Sac! Just like home! I got the Thom Khem. I recommend it for you pork belly lovers! It's sweet and savory, and the pork was perfectly tender.
The food was seriously delicious! The best Thai and Lao food Iβve had in a very long time! Their fried spring rolls, pad see ew and red curry were yummy but their Nam Khao and Sai Qoua were exceptional! I canβt wait to try their other food!
I had thai fried rice with pork here! It was so good. I chose level 2 spice. It was delicious. Not too spicy. I also ordered iced Thai tea with coconut milk. It was delicious as well as the fried rice. I will be a customer again. π
My first time here and I must warn you, apparently their spice levels are incredibly high. I like spicy food and typically order 3 stars. After eating 1/4 of my meal my mouth was on fire and I couldnβt taste anything. I picked out as much red pepper as I could and tried to push through but my lips and mouth were numb and in a lot of pain. When I mentioned it to them and they commented that their food is extra spicy. I have no idea if my meal was any good and it has been an hour and my lips and mouth are still tingling.
Food is delicious and reasonable priced. Went here several times. Highly recommended.
Very neat and clean. Like the Thai iced tea, very refreshing. After 2 sips you will forget all your tiredness. Had crispy basil chickenβ¦ loved it. The crispy taste in mouth and little sweet savor makes it a delight. Donβt make it spicy for any dishesβ¦ the original taste is best, they have a great cook.
DespuΓ©s de caminar en la largo
Martha. Excelente relaciΓ³n precio, porciΓ³n y buen sabor. Comimos dos personas por $28
Best kept secret in Lynnwood. The Laotian dishes especially are the perfect comfort food to warm you up and bring you joy -- just layers upon layers of flavor. The Nam Khao is out of this world.
The yellow curry is perfect! I used to go to a place on Everett Mall Way that closed a few years ago and this is the only other place I've ever found perfect yellow curry!
Not bad at all
Clean and price reasonable
Loved padthai and yellow curry
Really friendly staff, great serving and fast. Absolutely the best phad thai here. I eat it like crazy and crave it like crazy. A 1 or 2 spice level minimum is recommended because it gives so much more flavor.
Went in around 12:30 for lunch. Ordered chicken wings, chicken pad thai and spicy eggplant.
Worst pad thai too sweet . Chicken wings was tooo chewy.
Spicy eggplant was not bad. Overall I wouldn't go back. No one was at the restaurant except my table.
Super delicious authentic food, we will be back for sure!
Really fresh food. Tastes great. Highly recommended.
Pad ki mao is delicious
We enjoyed a delicious meal here. The service was friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.
The food is excellent and very fresh...very nice service.
The food was delicious. Some of the best Thai food around.
I only ordered takeout, but it was the best pad thai and pad kee mao I've had in a long time. The iced tea was also great!
Over priced, I paid $20 for deluxe fried rice with steak, shrimp, and chicken...needless to say protein was very scarce...I know things are high, but rice...if it was over the top amazing, it would be different but nothing special about it.
Portion was small
Takeout only. Tried the Thai food. It was good and large portions. Will try Lao food next time.
My husband and I always ordered food here, but lately our food hasn't been tasting as good as it use to... new cook? We just order dinner and got the beef larb and it's overly salty... so disappointing.
Best Thai near Alderwood mall. Fresh rolls and Peanut Phad Prik King highly recommended.
Was disappointed, because they donβt have dine in. When I asked them why the answer was funny. β Because itβs easier for usβ
Everything I've tried has been awesome!
I was craving for Nam Khao Lao food the rice salad as people called itπ I also ordered Larb Chicken and Phad Thai. I came all the way from Marysville to order this food. This was togo no dine in. When we are eating it I saw the portioning was not that much except for Phad Thai but there's not enough Chicken and the sauce was catsup at least it taste like it. Its not the tamarind sauce. The green lettuce was half rip in the Larb and some bad holes. I will try to look for another place and update you guysπ thank you for following and views. Enjoy
Authentic lao food when I'm missing home!!! Their menu is expansive which allows for a lot of options. They are always quick on the phone to take my order. Watch out for the chili! Sabai dee!
Unfortunately my review will not be based on the food today because of a live cockroach.
I was sitting at the front near the entrance waiting for my food to go and I saw a cockroach crawl across the floor and under the seat I was sitting on. It's not fair to assume that the Cockroach came from the restaurant itself because I was so close to the front door where anything can crawl in. However, if there's one cockroach then I'm sure the entire complex is infested. And since the cockroach is so daring to show itself during the daytime I'm sure at night it's a frenzy.
Very yummy!
Friendly, helpful staff. Terrific menu. Delicious food. Beautifully decorated. dining area. Can't wait to try more of the menu.
Delicious Pad Thai
Delicious every time we order! Glad to have such fantastic food in Lynnwood!
Food was ok and very small portion.
First time trying Lao food, everything was really good!
Delicious Thai curries, but spice level stronger than I expected, and I can handle a lot of heat. So recommend erring on side of less spice if you're not used to it.
Everything we tried was delicious. The food was fresh, bright and flavorful.
Food was great. But take their spice level seriously. Very good though!
So happy to have found this place near my home! Soooo good!
Wow. Never tried Laotian food before but now I am hooked. Such a beautiful combination of flavors.
The yellow curry was yummy. Love the little chunks of pineapple in it. Soop nor mai was average. My late father in law made a better one. I expected more than what I got for the price. I don't eat that much veggies with it and most the container had fresh veggies. I usually eat with sticky rice.
Excellent spicy Laos style papaya salad! The service was quick and efficient, the staff is nice and friendly.
It's a bit out of the way, and the interior isn't well lit so Takeout is perfect.
Really happy with their options and level of spice, if you're a spice lover like me this place is the real deal
I highly recommend and will be back!
A local go to for lunch or dinner! I love the thai fried rice & pad kee mao. My hubs is picky & loves the food too.
We ordered from here during covid19 and it did not disappoint. We wanted to try some Lao food, so we got 3 Lao dishes and 1 Thai dish. The Nam Khao, which is like a fried rice salad, was delicious and unlike anything Iβve ever had before. The Kua Li Mao is similar to pad thai in style, but the flavor is much different and sooo good. I think I like it better than pad Thai! Finally, the Laab Lao with beef did not disappoint. Very unique, full of flavor from the herbs, and it takes a minute to appreciate how delicious it is.
Oh- the Thai Basil chicken was good too but thatβs not what we came for!
We would come back in a heartbeat, hopefully to eat in as soon as this pandemic passes.
The Thom Kem is amazing!! And so is everything else!!!
It was okay. The flavors were heavily Americanized IMO, despite what others have commented previously.
It was really good. For just a hole in the place. Outside is not very fancy. But the service and food is really good. Which makes up for what the place looks like. We will be back.
