O’Char means delicious in Thai! We are committed to live up to our name. We are pleased to serve off our menu some of Thailand’s most popular dishes. Come experience lunch or dinner with your family and friends. Serving the greater Eastside for over 20 years.
O’Char is a deceptively delicious Thai restaurant in the Crossroads Mall food court. I say deceptively delicious because while their food looks simple and without garnish, it is some of the most tasty Thai food you can find in the Bellevue area.
I highly recommend the pad Thai, and their Combo
Absolutely delicious!! Their fried rice is one of the best. You can see and taste the freshness! Staff is super friendly and the wait time isn't too long. These portions arr huge! We either always have extra for the next meal or sometimes share a single portion and it's more than enough!
Wish I could review the food. I ordered Pad Thai combo but when I got home and opened it up, I realized they only gave me plain noodles. No chicken, no herbs, just plain red noodles:(
I also had the red curry as part of the combo. It at least seemed to have all its ingredients. Flavor was good but I'll go somewhere else next time.
The food, price, and service were on point. Everything was delicious and affordable. We ordered deep-fried tofu, Pad See Ew, and Thai broth noodles—everything was excellent!
**Cons:** The line was really long, and we waited 40 minutes for our food. Being in a food court, you have to serve and clean up yourself. The food isn't as tasty as other Thai restaurants, but you can't beat the price. 😃
O'Char is located in Crossroads Mall food court. Judging by the line of people ordering it is clearly very popular.
I ordered the Thai noodle soup, which is pretty much tom yum soup with fried tofu, chicken, prawn, and rice noodles. It was well prepared, hot, and very flavorful. In the past I've had other dishes like radna, pad seeyou, and fried rice. It's always been quickly prepared and tasty. It's fun to watch the line cooks hard at work and putting to woks to work.
The only down side is the Crossroads Mall food court atmosphere which always feels low rent, and not unlike eating at the cafeteria in college. It's the worst when they have lives music because it's always too loud for having conversations and often not that good.
But if you're in Crossroads Mall and wanting Thai I would not hesitate to go to O'Char.
I’ve been eating their food for 10+ years or it feels like it! I especially love their Pad Thai! & my mom loves their fried rice with pineapple but sometimes she leaves out the curry powder! But their pad Thai is my comfort food! So hella good!!! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat at crossroads mall!!! They are also very friendly and if you eat there as often as I do! They’ll ring up what u like as soon as u get ready to order. They are the best pad Thai place I know of in Bellevue!!
In my opinion, they have the best red curry. The combo A is the best dish. It includes pad Thai, rice, and chicken red curry. Good portions and excellent price.

Delicious, great price, fast and well balanced.

Tasty meals at O’char by people that remember me, even though I’m not that memorable and eat here maybe once a week. They go out of their way to make my food delish and I’m addicted to their crispy garlic chicken.

We experienced severe food poisoning after eating here this weekend. We got the crispy chicken and pork dishes. We only shared the rice and salad. Within 24 hours we had terrible vomiting and diarrhea, including our toddler.
so yummy i eat here all the time
This is my go-to spot for Thai in Bellevue. Flavors are on point, Service is fast and courteous and consistent for the decade or so I've been going. The Red Curry, Phad Thai, Tom Kha, and Phad See Ew are staples and never disappoint.
Food is excellent! Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Bellevue, especially the curry. Unfortunately, the service here has been consistently terrible for the past several months. The wait times have been getting longer and longer, and the last time I went they completely forgot about my order. I waited for an hour before asking them where my food was, and they were very rude to me about it. No attempt to make things right. Like, c’mon guys, I work at a restaurant too, it’s not that hard.
I’ve been eating at O'Char Thai weekly and have tried several dishes including pad thai, fried rice, pad krapau, and Thai noodle soup. While the pad thai and the soup were okay, the rice dishes were terrible - very dry and unflavorful. The inconsistency in the quality of the food makes it hard to fully recommend. It’s a decent spot if you stick to certain items on the menu, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially with the rice dishes.
Consistently good place. As everywhere, prices are up, portions down. Pad Thai was tasty. Salad dressing was mostly water and tasteless but that’s not what I was there for. It’s a convenient place and part of a food court.
The food, price, and service were on point. Everything was delicious and affordable. We ordered deep-fried tofu, Pad See Ew, and Thai broth noodles—everything was excellent!

good price and portion size.
Went to O'Char Thai - Crossroads Bellevue for the first time. I have to say but if you’re like browsing around the plaza and craving for Thai? This is the spot for you!!! Absolutely delicious and very fresh! The portion is amazing and the staff were really nice and professional to me. Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍!
Must try
Probably the worse Thai food I've hsd in the area. The food wasn't made with love. The Thai iced tea wasn't even sweet. It's really hard to f up making Thai iced tea. Smh
Great quality for its price, always consistent and taste great
I’ve been coming here for over a decade! Their service is always top-tier and brings a smile to everyone’s faces, I’m glad they’re getting business (: At this point, I’ve almost tried every single item on their menu and I have no complaints. A few personal favorites are the typical Pad Thai, pad se ew, red & green curry, Lad na, chicken chop chop, and the crispy garlic chicken! Those are a must try! (Can’t go wrong with the Tom Yum soup on cold days!) Please come & find out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
I am not a food expert, but I love green and red curry here!
Great Thai Noodle Soup. Thai ice tea was good too.
I’ve been eating their food for 10+ years or it feels like it! I especially love their Pad Thai! & my mom loves their fried rice with pineapple but sometimes she leaves out the curry powder! Favorite place in Crossroads.
O'char's fresh wok dishes are amazing. I frequent this restaurant after exercising at the climbing gym and sometimes stumble upon the live shows at the stage. This is probably the highest quality food court I have been to. They've done a good job trying to make gluten free dishes for my step mom but be sure to mention it verbally and put it in the notes when you order and let them know if it is a sensitivity or celiac.
They are fast, tasty, and friendly. You can watch them cook. Big woks on open flames. Their use of spices Is what gives their dishes the great flavor. If you want hot, they do hot. My favorite is Garlic Chicken, four star hot
Great food and prices.
Great food
If you are ok with waiting 35 minutes to get a meal then it’s all good.
I understand they are busy on Fridays but a warning while ordering would have made a difference.
I have been here before and the food was overall good those times.
I hope they can work out their ordering service.
I moved and haven’t been able to visit in years so I was very excited for the opportunity this evening to grab some fried rice to go. I asked for it as spicy as it gets and you delivered! Delicious as always, service was phenomenal. It took me hours to get home and it was worth it. Thank you. I highly recommend for taste, value and service.
Pretty much what you would expect from a strip mall thai take out spot. But decent flavors and huge portion sizes. They have a great service and the food court area itself is not that bad so the ambience is pretty nice.
Plenty of parking and a lot of other businesses and things to do in the area
The servers were nice and polite but the food I ordered wasn’t good. I ordered a red chicken curry which was really bland and overall bad. The place near the restaurant also smells weird.
Been coming here for years now and O’Char Thai still remains one of my favorite Thai food spots in East Bellevue.
The pad thai is of course a go-to, and always hits the spot. The fried rice is amazing as well.
Lately, I’ve been getting their 2 new items fairly often, the chopped pad krapow (fried egg on top is A MUST), and the crispy garlic chicken. Both are delicious.
All ingredients are always fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and can help assist when trying something new.
Overall: 5/5
I personally find the crossroads food court to be exactly what it sounds like. This is less of a shopping mall and more of a much needed cultural and culinary epicenter of Bellevue and most of the Seattle area. The shopping center has your usual corporate stores. Behind the familiar names—the food and and cultured community living and working in “crossroads”. I personally have been fortunate to visit Thailand. This may not be the traditional Thai food that you want; pod Thai. However—you will receive a delicious and economical meal created by the chefs. You may never see the chefs or feel like they understand what you are asking for… Thailand style—they use fresh ingredients. You may be surprised by a delicious new vegetable that you didn’t even know was ripe for the season. The only reason I lowered my score for this restaurant is simply due to the fact that it is in a shopping mall. There are plenty of other restaurants and open areas to enjoy the delicious food here.
Super unprofessional. Clearly there is a frequent problem of wrong orders being given to the wrong customers. I’m not a big believer in the customer Is always right. But when they are a paying customer, and you choose not to do everything you can to make sure they receive their order, then that tells me there is lack of integrity and hospitality within that establishment. I understand that they don’t wanna just give free food to anyone that claims they ordered, but if this were to happen on a frequent basis, they’d be seeing a reflux in profits and customer consumption. Check your orders. Confirm the names. Right the wrong. Very simple.
I ordered the Special Crispy Garlic Chicken too much, their staffs memorized so well. I was already spoiled by their friendliness and professionalism.
Good place to have a chicken fired rice. Loved it. Visited multiple times.
I just love their green and red curry. Service is limited and you are eating in a food court. Good for take out as well
Literally the best Thai food I’ve ever had!
Great food, quick, in a food court at crossroads mall. So many good places in there. I got the chop chicken
Food was good. Very cheap utensils though. Chopsticks were too skinny and weak to hold noodles. Would be great if the restaurant provides better quality chopsticks. Food was made on order. So it is fresh and warm to serve. Sides was salad topped with dressing, not authentic style in Thai food, but localized.
Delicious food. One of my three go tos whenever I want food in crossroads mall. Bought enough to where the some of employees recognize me by now lol.
O'Char is located in Crossroads Mall food court. Judging by the line of people ordering it is clearly very popular.

Good Thai food
Every time I come here for food the owner is extremely nice. The food is always amazing. I will travel 30 minutes out of my way from Kenmore just to get Phad See Ew from here, it’s that good. Never gotten better Thai food from a food court before. Have to try it.
100% fantastic! Delicious warm Thai curry - generous portions. And the folks there are so kind. When they saw my husband and I grabbing half eaten bowls from a deserted table (we are very anti food waste) they brought over a fresh dish for us to share in case we were indigent. Who does that? These guys! So thoughtful ❤️❤️
Single women cooking . Food was worth the wait.
Delicious lemon grass chicken. Very fast service.
I am officially addicted to the chicken chop chop. At minimum once a week I eat this dish and have been impressed and blown away every time. There is a very good reason they have been here for 33 years. All of the staff are amazing and know exactly what I want when they see my face. This is one of the few hidden gems of Bellevue.
I ordered the same thing I always do (ordered last week) but when I came to pick up my order I was told it now couldn't be made without charging me more. Was my favorite local Thai but won't be returning.
The food was good but I didn't get what I ordered. I ordered a combo1 which had a curry, Fried rice, and noodles . I ordered a vegetarian substitute and was charged an extra dollar for a vegetable I added (not the tofu). Other than that the food itself was great and fresh.
I ordered medium spicy and got somewhat sweet. I also got plain rice.
I get that they were rush hour so probably missed an order but I would've rated 5 stars had they got me what I paid for.
What an amazing little place! I never would have found if we didn't have to drive to Bellevue because it was the only place that had a book I needed. Food was fantastic, much better then I was expecting in a food court type setting. My wife always gets the pad Thai which was awesome but I tried something new, the pad ewu (spelling?) And I was very satisfied with the giant noodles in it. Service was quick and the guy at the counter was wonderful in helping me decide on a new thing. Definitely a must try
First time being here with my wife and the people there so nice. Best crispy garlic chicken
I believe his name was Tim
Thank you Tim!!!!
In a food court, but decent food.
Loved the pad thai and basil fried rice, Always 10/10 for taste and quantity,
Ordered a noodle dish with beef and they didn't add the beef. It was a to-go order so I didn't know until I got home. The noodles alone were bland and not worth eating. Friendly service at least.
For me, this is the best Tom yum in Bellevue Redmond area
Good crispy garlic chicken and phad thai as well as non-insane prices. Definite banger
Went here for lunch and ordered combo which is the lemongrass chicken with pad thai and rice. The lemongrass chicken is delicious and tasty (they would ask what level of spicy you want, which is good)—the chicken is so tender, the only problem is that the celery is hard to chew, otherwise other veggies included is good. Not quite impressed with the pad thai though. Fast service and will definitely order again!
pad thai goes hard
Great Thai food
Twice I have witnessed the cashier wearing blue gloves and receiving coins and money in those gloves and picking up salad with those gloved hands. It's really dirty and I'm shocked.
Wonderful Thai take out. They use an automated ordering system at the front counter that we found really cool. Food came up fast, hot and tasty. I will definitely go again.
Good food that's made fresh in the kitchen, where everyone can see clearly. Everyone there is very nice. A couple cahiers there are pretty impressive. They speak English, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese. Not sure how many more they speak. I like their vegetarian options. Pad Kee Mao is always super tasty.
Worst phad thai ever! No peanuts, no lime, no bean spouts, hardly any chicken and, oh,not much flavor. Mongolian beef posted price is $12.00 then they sneak in an extra $2.00 for Beef! Huh? Ordered cashew chicken with NO bell peppers. Guess what? Loaded with peppers!
Absolutely awful!
I used to come here on my lunch breaks fit their Phad See Ew with tofu. Even though I work from home full time, I still stop by for the delicious Thai food here! Friendly service and great eats. 😁
Excellent and kind.
Great Thai food, made quickly with very reasonable prices as well. I tend to get the phad kee mao or the phad see ew. They have many different delicious options though. Absolutely amazing place!!
The best Tom Yum soup I've tasted. Wow!
Been here 5 times, 4 were fantastic, but the last time my food tasted surprisingly burnt, like their cooking surface hadn't been cleaned the whole day or something. Always got the pad see ew with tofu and had always been incredible, but haven't gone back since the last time since it was so off putting.
Delicious food. I really enjoy going there. I would have given it five stars if the food was organic.
Friendly, quick, tasty food. All good here!
Yummm pad se ew... wow
Always great food and great service.
Good cheap fast
I work around the corner and i needed something DoorDashed to me and this was the first thing i saw. WOW. i was impressed!!!!!!! amazing food always!!!!! Have to get it once a week now! Thank you O'Char Thai!!!
Great food
A true diamond in the rough, this small kitchen in a mall's food court does Pad Thai better than most brick and mortar Thai restaurants around. If that weren't enough they have a curry and pad Thai combo. Those are like the top two things you'd want at any Thai restaurant, and they put them both on the same menu item! Nobody else does that. Truly something special
Great food, great value, friendly owner.
Always delicious! Love the peanut sauce and the salad dressing.
Great food and service!
Food an employee not clean and horrible
I had Pad See Ew which is my favorite Thai dish. This one was delicious and a perfect dish to get in the mall and eat in person. I took my leftovers home and ate them 3 hours later and they were wonderful heated up! It was full of large chicken pieces and maybe 6 pieces of broccoli. I wish I took a picture. One thing is there no other red or green veggies that I usually see in pad see ew, like some bok choy, spinach, red bell peppers. I did ask for mild so maybe this is just common at Kaosami Thai food truck.
I live in Canada and every time I come to Seattle I have to stop here at O'char. Staff are super friendly and they have the best made to order Pad se ew noodles. The price is good compared to what you pay anywhere else at a restaurant.
The Phad Thai here wasn't great.
Good food, and I've always been greeted with a smile. My favorite place in the Crossroads food court.
Got a big icky hair in the cashew chicken. That was the end of dinner. Tried to text the number on the receipt to let them know but that doesnt seem to work. Disappointed
Great little spot for delicious thai cuisine! Friendly service, friendly pricing, and quick cooking! Highly recommended the pad thai, delicious!! 👌
It's ok, portions are big enough, but nothing special, good option for a quick bite if you're at Crossroads shopping mall
Always Yes.
I don't like the taste of oil in their food
O’Char is a deceptively delicious Thai restaurant in the Crossroads Mall food court. I say deceptively delicious because while their food looks simple and without garnish, it is some of the most tasty Thai food you can find in the Bellevue area.
My wife and I highly recommend the pad ki mao, pad Thai, and their mango sticky rice dessert 👍.
Great thai fast food, reasonable price
I always go for basil fried rice at this place. It has a perfect taste that and would always order the same. The place is inside a mall's cafeteria and seating is sharing for all the other restaurants too. You can see them cooking.
Always excellent!
Got basil fried rice, was not good.
I always order fried rice, and it's always delicious! It has a smoky flavor most other places don't have, and lots of veggies. I love the peanut sauce they have at this location as well. I often get a cup just to take home.
Ordered chicken padh thai noodles for the first time and it was really good with spice level 2 and it was perfect. Not too sweet nor too spicy. Perfect blend of spice chicken and noodles with perfect portion for one person.
The food is always fresh. The staff is friendly.
Can be inconsistent with the spice level. I always order a 2 and sometimes it's really spicy and other times no spice at all. When it's in the middle and actually what I consider a 2 it's delicious!
Good food, good quantities, quick service, friendly staff, price are okay, but it's about the same for all other places nearby.
This place knows how to make curry and phad thai! Always fast and friendly.
Barely edible. The meat is just ... eww. Spongy.
I tried it a few times with same result. Green peppers were crunchy and yummy though! Fast friendly service
Pretty Decent Pad Thai. Price is about $10+ after tax for the Pad Thai.
Tasty food. Good place to go if you want to have Tai fast food.
Best beef pad see ew ever, anywhere.
Amazing food staff is super friendly!
One of my favorite places to go in the mall... Not the best Thai I've ever eaten, but has friendly service and is a good quick option.
Mediocre food that is overpriced for the quality. There are many other options steps away.
Ordered pad see-iw. Noodles were terribly overdone and just piles of mush. Chicken was also a bit overdone and included a couple sizable chunks of cartilage. I can't expect a ton for the price point, but i expected better than this.
One of the best pad Thai that I've had in the Seattle area. Must order pad Thai fresh though - noodles can be dry as part of the combo. The staffs are always friendly.
First and last time eating here, I only went because my regular thai place (Thai VP) was closed for the holiday. Ordered the combo red curry/pad thai to go.
Pure mall food court quality meaning mediocre pad thai. No veggies to speak of in the dish, like zero. Just noodles. They put crushed peanuts on my rice but not the pad thai, lol!
I ordered everything with tofu, I got the curry with chicken. Which was ok because the smell of it and the fact that the curry was broken meant I wasn't gonna eat it anyway.
The cashier was nice, that's the lone plus.
$25 for two low quality combo meals and a couple of tiny eggrolls. There is absolutely no reason to eat here when the much better quality and cheaper 'Thai VP' restaurant is literally across the street from this mess.
the people there know our family... you can order anything you want there even if they dont have it on the menu
