We got the Holy Basil and the Luxury Rainbow Roll. The presentation was excellent. The sauce on the Holy Basil was so good and the tofu was actually cooked with effort, which is unfortunately rare. The sushi roll was also very good. I enjoy sushi with wide variety of ingredients and the fish felt good quality. The price felt very reasonable for the atmosphere and presentation. Next time, I would like to try the Monster Lobster Roll.

One of my favourite dinning experiences in a year or more. The moment I walked in (which was 40 min before close) I was warmly greeted by the Chef and invited to sit at the sushi bar. Within 5 min I had 2 Salmon Sashimi infront of me that evaporated in my mouth. Clean, simple, perfect! A warm Saki was dropped off at the same time. A perfect start to what would be a sensational late dinner!

Every single staff member was warm and engaging, even the owner took a moment to say hello. I very nearly changed my next days vacation plans to come back but unfortunately my reservations the were non refundable. It was simply that good! Thank you so much team De Asian, my heart is warmed!

The owner actually interacted with me and assured me the fishes rotated every 2 days and I believe him! The lobster roll dish comes with a salad and miso soup And it was the freshest greenest ginger salad I've had yet! The miso soup was absolutely perfect. May I mention another reason why I went there is because I don't eat pork and their Wonton Soup is made with shrimp in ground chicken! Not to mention a very unique menu that I will be happy to go back and keep trying different things. If you're looking for some good fresh sushi and Asian fusion cuisine as well as wanting to make an impression on your guest then I would definitely choose DeAsian fusion in Anacortes Wa. Yesterday I ordered take out for the first time in a while. We had 2 karaage dons, tony the tiger and takoyaki.

Both of the karaage dons, the chickens were dry and slightly burnt. It was pretty disappointing.

I love this place. I usually get food 'to go'. I wait for it at the bar with a glass of plum wine.

De Asian has a wonderful mix of curry, tonkatsu (sliced meat), and fresh fish, sashimi and sushi. Our party had some great curries and I really liked the sushi combo. The cocktails are good, I had a Manhattan, and the wine selection is good and reasonably priced as well.

Slightly pricey, but very good. Didn't get to drive too deep into the menu, but the 4 rolls we got were delicious. Definitely going back to sample the rest if we can.

This is our favorite restaurant in all of the Pacific North West. Service is great. Food is incredible. The owner is an incredible chef and host. Highly recommend!

The victuals and service be commendable, yet the portions be far too meager for the cost. Forsooth, my companion did procure a bowl of rice with slices of pork belly, wherein but half an egg was provided. Aye, not even a full egg could they bestow. We have frequented this establishment on manifold occasions to ascertain if such parsimony be the norm.

-TLDR: food was good but portion sizes way too small.

Pro - Tempura shrimp roll was very good but about half the size of rolls at other places

Con - spring rolls are 90 cabbage…no, spouts, mushroom or even spices like garlic or white pepper. They taste like bland mush

All of the staff we encountered here were kind, funny, and accommodating. I spilled my cocktail all over myself by accident and they replenished it without me having to ask. The sushi was excellent and came out quickly. Would definitely go back!

Japanese and Thai food are probably my two favorite cuisines and these nail both of them. The chicken karaga and spicy tuna roll were both fresh and tasty. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in town.

Me and my family lived in Thailand for 3 years and this food is better than the food in the local restaurant's in Thailand. Also the food comes within 10 min. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. The service and the kitchen was super quick to get out all of our dishes. We ordered the sampler appetizer, the Tony the Tiger roll, Beauty and the beast roll, ramen and katsu. All was superb, but the katsu was a little on the chewy side. Great experience, definitely going back.

I have been here multiple times over the last couple years, when we come to town. And seriously, the best sushi, best service, hands down.

Tried this place while visiting town, and was not disappointed! The decor and atmosphere is lovely and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the Thai coffee or Thai tea if you're thirsty and looking for a kick of energy. For salmon lovers, the double salmon roll is delicious and a great balance of flavors. The crazy roll is also really good, and both rolls are a decent size for a perfect meal.

De Asian was a favorite restaurant and visited as often as possible. During this last visit, the sushi chef was embarrassingly rude. The food was far below their normal standards. When I mentioned that there was an issue, it was shrugged off like it was my problem. This was such a great restaurant. I’m so disappointed that both the food and service have gone down hill to the extent that we won’t return.

Happy to have ramen in Anacortes. Had the Tonkatsu tonight. Servings are not huge and the broth is not as dense/flavorful as other Ramen restaurants in Bellingham or Seattle. Not sure the noodles are made in-house… very standard noodles. The overall flavor was good though and the price was right, making it worth it to go back and try the other ramen soon. But, if you’re a ramen connoisseur, you may be left wanting (maybe they’re playing to the retiree taste buds of the community??) Fine might be the best descriptor, so just don’t expect your mind to be blown. That being said, I had several nigiri and the green tea ice cream, which they did a great job with and I also saw other tables with entrees that looked delicious, so I hope people try this new place out! I know I’ll be back. There’s so much on the menu I want to try! On a side note… with the cold weather months, cross your fingers to get a table at the rear or back sides of the restaurant, as the cold wind comes rushing through the front door and can dampen the mood for date night. Or you know… just plan to wear a sweater, scarf and you’re favorite toque and you’ll be set! Looking forward to going back.

Seattle Quality Sushi Without The Drive - feel we 'invest' in sushi when dining in Seattle. This is the foodie jewel our Friday Harbor pals correctly rave about. Stunning in its clear, clean fish flavors. More than fair in its pricing. Artful presentation and friendly service with the perfect amount of hover without intrusion on date night. We skipped lunch and ate a big part of the dinner menu. All fabulous!

The fish was so fresh, it was hard not to keep ordering all the items on the menu.
A great chef from Thailand made our sushi and encouraged us to enjoy some beer while we waited. Great conversation with that gentleman! Will definitely go back when in town.

There was also a customer with a dog so it's seemingly pet friendly for all you traveling with pups.

I have always wanted to write a food review. I have never been inspired...enough, to write a food review...till now. I ate here a few weeks ago and had Tobiko and yellowtail. Followed with Red Currie. Planned on taking the Red Currie home for a second meal, which I did but couldn't help myself and ate as a snack that night. I new I would be back. Food, most excellent. The service...I have been Gluten free for over 25 years. My concerns were taken care of with confidence and peasantry's by a Man and Woman serving that worked together as a team, right out of any high end restaurant in any major metropolis of the world. Truly astounding! I was made to feel at home.
I returned tonight and had Tobiko and Yellowtail roll. Again I ordered an entree that was to be tomorrow's dinner. Roast Duck Red Currie. Most of it made it home, some left for a snack tomorrow... has to be one of the best meals my taste buds have ever experienced. And service was just as phenomenal.
I am going to be in Anacortes for only a few months, but know that I have found a Gem to satisfy all my culinary desires.

Have eaten here twice for lunch. Just love the food here! Have enjoyed Chicken Satay with plum sauce, vegetable spring rolls, and Basil fried rice with pork. Loved all of these dishes and enough to bring home for leftovers. My friends enjoyed Pad Thai and Won Ton soup. The service was very good. Friendly server. Food came to our table in timely manner. Definitely will return.

Best Sushi around hands down! We go here at least once a week and absolutely love it everytime! I have told all my friends and have brought most of my family now. The staff makes you feel like family and are so welcoming everytime!! If you have yet to experience this place it is a hidden gem for sure!! It gave options to choose what was your favorite but everything on the menu is ridiculously good! Best presentation. Best food even for those who don't want sushi there's something for everyone!!

Went there for my birthday. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday, but we got our food fairly quickly. The food was good, but not great. My favorite was Green Giant Roll, nice combination. Sadly Double Salmon Roll disappointed a bit with salmon not tasting very fresh. Massaman Curry was okay, but not as good as in Naung Mai. And the deep-fried ice cream I got was odd and tasted stale (but that was a free item, so I didn't say much). I was surprised to hear they no longer do military discounts, but it's common.

Portions were adequate, prices properly reflected expectations and quality was top notch!! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!!

Nice sushi place

Unappetizing food my unpicky kid would not even eat. My wife's yakisoba chicken was basically raw. My spicy chicken teriyaki with rice was with onions and green bell peppers. Which i didn't want. They gave me a side of rice which I was charged for. The portions of these meals were that in which you would give to a toddler. And the price was about double what we get charged everywhere else. Not to mention the person that rang us up tried giving themselves a 15 or 20% tip without even asking 1st. We don't mind tipping but not when a worker at an establishment tries to pull something like that especially when they already have the"island inflation" added into the price! Unless something is done to make our experience right, because spending that much on 3 meals we expect it to be at least decent, we will NOT be returning to this establishment. Nor would we recommend it to our worse enemies let alone our family and friends!

Warm hospitality and excellent food. We had the blackened marinated cod, which was superb. Art, and the waiter whose name I didn't catch, made us feel right at home. He even made a soft boiled egg for our young son without being asked, which he loved. Rare hospitality, indeed.

The service was amazing, the sushi and sashimi was so fresh and tasty, Thai food was authentic, and ambience was also superb. A gem in Anacortes. Coming from southern California in an area full of top tiered asian restaurants, this was up there. Thank you for living up to your name, this was definitely “De Asian” restaurant :)

Anacortes has been waiting for this place - finally, a five star sushi experience has arrived! Everything on the menu is good. This place will give any big city Asian restaurant a run for its money - scratch that, it’s better because it’s in our humble little town.

Went here for Fathers Day. Our first time. Definitely best Asian restaurant in town. The sushi was amazing. Can’t wait to come back. Since my oldest daughter is the sushi lover in the house, this will likely be one of our new Daddy Daughter date spots :)

We had sushi. So good. I just got back from Tokyo, Japan and this was as good or better. The service was friendly, tentative to our needs and fabulous. I will be coming back very soon and bringing friends and family.

Really excited about this restaurant. The nigiri & rolls we had were quality - gorgeous & delicious with just the right proportions & size of the roll "pieces". So good! We had the place to ourselves for a late lunch & service was equally incredible. Can't wait to go back.

Nice staff. The sushi plate was very good and a lot more food than expected. The bomb roll is a new favorite. The garlic beef was well done.

This is the best Asian food in town now! They have Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean options and they are all delicious. The sushi is awesome and super creative, and the ramen is even better than specialty ramen restaurants in San Francisco!

@deasianrestaurant is a good new place in Anacortes. The owner is a very nice person and does beautiful sushi that is also delicious. The Avocado Curry was spectacular, in fact all their curries are spectacular. We had the Tony The Tiger Roll and The Beauty & The Beast roll for sushi and both were delicious. It’s nice to have a sushi option on the island. Definitely island pricing, be prepared for that.

SUSHI was amazing. Art and Tuesday the chefs do a great job, even when busy. So glad they are here. Wait staff is very personable.

First time in and we were super IMPRESSED!! Everything was great. The fish was super fresh! Our favorite was the Yellowtail Sashimi (we requested slices of jalapeños to go with it). Great laid back atmosphere with exceptional food. We will be back!

Food was absolutely phenomenal, definitely coming here again!!! Fried trout was super tasty and so was the seafood medly.

I went there for my Birthday and what an amazing experience, the food was amazing Art & Tuesday are true Chefs to their craft. Went back a couple of days later and again such a fun time. A must try.

Bestest new sushi bar find!! Great customer service. We sat at the counter and watched, those men are true food artists. Everything was absolute deliciousness and done with care. Will definitely be back and be willing to wait for a seat at the bar.

Service great, food not good. Tom Ka soup is nothing but a bowl of raw onions. Fish is not fresh. Sake served lukewarm. Please do better.

Everything was so good! Best Wonton Soup I’ve ever had. California roll and spring rolls both delicious. We will be back often!

Sushi chefs Art and Tuesday are culinary artists! The Tanzania roll and Tempura Shrimp roll were incredible. Art also made my husband a special combination (forgot to photograph) that was out of this world. Can’t wait to come back! Be sure and treat yourselves to the miso soup, too…. so good. Nice atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Stopped in for a quick dinner and sat at the bar. The sushi chefs were personable and took pride in their work. We ordered several rolls, all which were excellent! Looking forward to returning and trying additional menu items. This will certainly be a frequent stop for years to come. Welcome to town!! Keep up the good work.

They are working out being newly opened. They have great sushi and Ramen made fresh is worth waiting for!! I'll be back wish open for lunch

I'm excited about this restaurant, for years Anacortes has been lacking a good sushi Rest. This restaurant is fantastic, the freshness of the sushi is second to none. Chef Art and his side kick Tuesday went above and beyound to show us the passion of this cousine.

I’m not sure why the other person had a bad experience, I went and it was packed with people. The service was consistent and not over bearing.

The Ramen was awesome. I will be going back regularly.

Sushi was great. The rest of the entrées were not very good. They came out cold. We ordered Ramen to go for our son when our meals were served, 45 minutes later it was finally brought to our table. Server was busy but didn't check in on us. Wouldn't recommend anything but the Sushi. We were there for over 2 hours in total. Wasn't the best experience.
