Fresh Chinese, Sushi and Thai made to order and proudly serving Highland Springs, Sandston and portions of Richmond.
I dined in for the first time and wanted to share my experience. The owners over charged me for my food and I wanted to share my experience. A side order of fried rice is $2.50 on the menus and the $3.95. When I told the owner relative which was our server that he over charged my daughter and I he said they haven’t updated their menu. I said the menu that he gave to us is what we should be charged for. They also added a 15 percent charge to the order I ask him what was that charge he said it was just a charge of you ordered food. Along with the taxes. However I paid for food. I let the owner relative know that they are over charging and I pay attain to price on menus even when they take menu away. That’s is why I look at my receipt when it’s time to pay for correct amount. Fifty cents and a dollar adds up when you over charge paying customers. I will not be going there anymore.
I’m trying to see how to upload my receipts
For the price and portions, solid meal. $45 w/o tip, $52 with. Had left overs as well. About $15/each depending on what's ordered, fried rice came with dinner dish.
9/9/24
Both got the same thing. This time $52 without tip, $64 with ("18%") still delicious AF with big portions. Do wish it was a little cheaper.
(Double cooked pork + house lo mein & orange chicken )
Food around the Sandston area always seems so hit or miss, we were worried to try this place out having had bad experiences at other Chinese restaurants in the area. But this is hands down some of the best Asian takeout I've had in years, I was shocked in the best way. I am excited to work my way through the menu and try some vastly different dishes and see how this place holds up.
The staff I interacted with at the counter was welcoming and friendly, the interior was clean and very well kept up and the food was piping hot (and obviously delicious).
Definitely a wonderful find, if you want Asian take out, give this place a shot. As more menu options are tested, review may update.
**Update**
Holy cow, this place has become hands down my favorite Asian take out. The mushroom beef is phenomenal, the chicken and broccoli is best I've had, the egg rolls are delicious, hot and sour soup was perfect, and I am most surprised my the drunken noodles, flavorful and delicious, hits the right marks, I would not have expected everything to be good and taste on par with the best Chinese and Thai places I've been to. Next to try is the sushi! Forgive the photos, got too into shoveling it in my mouth before I thought to snap pics.
Seriously give this place a shot, in all likelihood, you'll be in love. 10/10 will recommend.
My childhood food, eating here gave me nostalgia. My first time trying sushi rolls here wasn't that good, as they got my sushi roll order wrong and I recommend eating the sushi roll with a sauce as its dry. Everything else was great. I had tiramisu, it was alright, but I really loved the coffee taste. The fried donuts were delicious, but I think my favorite dessert had to be the red velvet cake. It was really good. I had chicken and Broccoli which was also great. I also ordered orange chicken with white meat, which I recommend eating the day of, as after reheating is no good.
The restaurant just needs pictures of each food item and more details on the online ordering sites as they have such a huge menu, it's hard to choose from just words alone. I was really confused about the types of items, so I didn't know what to expect. I was too busy eating to remember to take pictures of everything.
The food is so good and the people that work here are sooooo nice. We got in our car and started eating and I spilled and we went inside to clean up and they offered to make us another item. The service is a 10/10, food is a 10/10, and the store is really nice. It’s very clean and warm. They offer a great selection, you really can’t go wrong.
Called ahead to check and see if my allergy could be accommodated. They were super polite and even reviewed the menu with me when I picked up my online order about ways I could keep myself safe! Food was great and I will definitely be back.
Good food, lunch menu was inexpensive and portion was good. I am giving a three stars because the restaurant charged me $3.53 (3.75%) for paying with credit card. As a business, credit card merchant feed should be part of the operating expenses. It shouldn’t be paid by the customers. Having a sign on the back of the monitor does not make it alright. If you are paying at the table or stand in front of the counter, you will never see the sign. We will not be coming back no matter how good the food is.
The lady was rude and she was rushing me to get there if I stay literally down the street and it was hair in my food other than that the rice was good
oh. my. god. This stuff hit the spotttt. If it weren't for the location, it would be BUSYYYY. The food was great and the Cali rolls really hit the spot. It's not an underground drug operation like I thought it was (lol) and it was amazing. The guy who handed me my food seemed pretty nice and chill. "Next time we get Asian food, we're getting fresh wok" - my mom (creditable source)
The best chicken fried rice I have had, since Joy Garden closed.
The cashier/ delivery driver who said he was the operations manager was very rude. He has poor customer service skills, extremely rude and disrespectful.
I'm new to this side of town so I've only been to Freshwok a few times but tonight will have to be my last. I try to support small businesses but I cannot support people who seem like they do not want my business. The lady, who I assume is an owner, is not friendly at all. She acts like she doesn't want to help me every time she's working the counter area. She never looks at me so I am not sure when she's talking to me. If I don't answer right away, (because I'm not sure who she's talking to) here comes the subtle attitude. I almost feel like I see a little hint of disgust in her facial expressions. Tonight I asked for a receipt and she appeared to be frustrated stating it was on the bag. They upcharge if you use a card so the final receipt is different. At any rate, I can give my dollars to people who want them. I gave an overall rating of one star because it doesn't matter how the food tastes if the service is crappy.
Best sushi I've ever had
I recommend the spider roll!

Food is always fresh, hot, and cooked perfect!!! The staff is nice and fast.
Saturday night at 6pm no one in restaurant should have been the warning sign but we figured we would try it out anyways. Coconut shrimp was extremely bland and dry. Shrimp tempura rolls had a tiny little piece of meat in them. Extremely bland and disappointing. Everyone’s stomach is hurting soon after eating here. Very unfortunate and disappointing meal for $55.
Called ahead to check and see if my allergy could be accommodated. They were super polite and even reviewed the menu with me when I picked up my online order about ways I could keep myself safe! Food was great and I will definitely be back.
Really nice people, clean place, great food.
I've been to Fresh Wok about 4 or 5 times and usually the food is good. This time I placed a pick up order using Door Dash so it would be ready after I got off work. When I arrived they were almost finished cooking my order so I only waited a few minutes. The food smelled delicious. Got home and was immediately disappointed. The chicken pieces for the sweet and sour chicken were overcooked and burnt tasting and the beef was tough in the beef and broccoli. The steamed dumplings were good but lukewarm. Chicken wings and shrimp fried rice were meh. I paid over $60 for my order but felt like my food was cooked in a rush and no care into cooking my items properly. Might have to give Fresh Wok a break.
I didn't realize this was an eat-in restaurant, but we plan on going back and dining inside! The food was good, and the portion sizes were generous. Bonus: They give you a free item if you spend (I believe) $30. The options I remember them offering were the fried donuts and the crab rangoon. We got the donuts ourselves, and there were a ton!
Very good and fresh food, I would definitely recommend it. Not much atmosphere , but the food makes up for it. (Which is the point of a restaurant anyway)
Cozy neighborhood spot. Eat here, then go to a movie or eat here after church. Friendly staff. If you're game, ask for the house mustard, I dare you to try it🤣
Over the years this has been the number 1 Chinese food spot of me and my family. I haven’t had the food in while. But let me just say they have fell off really bad. The food use to be good, the customer service use to be amazing. The manager Tom, was once this joyful person now he’s a bitter and ugly person. I called today to make a complaint about my food not even having the intention of getting a full refund, just a refund for the items that were not edible. He wanted to battle me saying this is how they prepare, which is a lie because again I’ve had the same thing over and over here. Well, he obviously was not having a good day to talk to a customer the way he did, this a had the most narcissistic answer to say “ I think I provide amazing customer service” actually you didn’t, you went back and fourth with me, and told me all you could do was a remake. I didn’t want that because I live 40 mins from the location. I’ve filed a BBB Complaint and I have disputed the full charge because when you’re in the restaurant business the customer is always right! I will not be return and nor will my family. After Covid I think they fell on hard times because it’s a ghost town in there.
Food was great and delivered quickly
Food is fresh the best udon noodle soup so far always Willing to accommodate any requests and being that I moved. To southside when my family came to visit they where will to deliver are order I love there food and service
I got pad Thai here. It sort of tasted like pad Thai , and I ate it for a while, but it tasted more like mid than pad Thai.
I think this restaurant has potential to be the best in the area. However, I think the key to getting there is to decrease the absolute cornucopia of menu items. Smaller menu means you can get really good at just a few dishes and make them with fresh ingredients, rather than having a freezer full of specialty ingredients to make every popular dish originating from the largest continent on the planet. <3
Awesome food and great staff!

(Double cooked pork + house lo mein & orange chicken )
Watch out they charge you a procurement fee for takeout!
They don't use peanut oil for wings they had crisco and the boneless tips tasted like American BBQ sauce, absolutely disgusting! Had to throw my whole food away!
I have a severe shellfish allergy I share this at every restaurant I go to, my food was still contaminated. The price of my food was $17 for egg rolls and chicken on a stick. If you have severe allergies do not eat here and ALWAYS ask for a receipt. I am still recovering from allergic reaction
Update in response to owner. Per health code you are not allowed to fry shellfish in the same oil and that is why I had an allergic reaction at your restaurant. You are clearly frying vegetable egg rolls in the same oil as shrimp and that is a heath code violation. Sushi at my table will not cause an allergic reaction. Instead of accountability and trying to rectify you are blaming the customer. My throat closed due to your carelessness. I am now reporting you to the health department. Reading through your comments you seem to argue and attack customers often. Based on the smell, attitude towards customers, and lack of cars in the parking lot I should have know to turn around at the door.
The food is so fresh. They have always been great to my family. Sometimes holes in the wall are the best places to eat! I highly recommend the food here!
Not what I ordered. The Yellow Curry Tofu is described like this “Coconut milk, potatoes, onions & fresh herbs spices. Very popular in Malaysia and Southern Thailand. Spicy.” I got potatoes and tofu in a sticky sauce that tastes kinda like teriyaki. No coconut milk, no onion, no fresh herbs. It’s edible at least.
In your response to me you lied. There were no onions or fresh herbs and I could not discern any coconut milk in the sauce. So disappointing.
1st time there very tasty. I will be back.
Went back the food was not as tasty as when I went the first time.
Plus I noticed they charged a procurement fee.
This maybe because I used my debit card.
If you go pay cash or you will be charged a fee.
Food was awesome staff was nice and friendly
Man I was I disappointed. For the cost I really expected better food. We got chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and an order of butterfly shrimp. It came with 5 wings....what chinese spot cuts the wings in half and calls them 2 wings?? This isn't awing spot. If your gonna do that then make it clear when ordering. So we paid roughly $15 for 2.5 whole wings and maybe a cup and a half of fried rice. To make it worse the chicken was so so over cooked. It was so dark and dry. AND i was crunching on egg shell in my rice. Really hard to eat. The butterfly shrimp wasn't burnt but they were rubbery and old. We thought the price was steep but hoped for decent food....not what we got.
the food did not have a unique tast/flavor! was a waste of my money. I had food but food I will not remember !
First time ordering delivery,
Ordered Singapore Noodles extra, extra spicy with extra shrimp and extra vegetables for an additional additional cost. And a eggroll $24.75 Where are the extras, & the curry. No flavor! BLAND BLAND BLAND! Not one bit of spice. Disappointed! All I see & taste is noodles and some a few pieces of broccoli, onions and carrots! If that’s the way you all prepare Singapore noodles, I’ll pass.
Driver guy arrived 30 minutes early which was nice, but he was a little rude, cause he had to wait a few extra seconds, and Tipped 25%. Mounds of quarters seems like a legit tip! Not for payment of the meal! Excuse me if they weren’t rolled up. Who doesn’t take change?
Called restaurant and was offered a small shrimp lomein $7.95 or crab ragoon $5.75 for the next time I order since I was disappointed. Thanks but I’m moving soon and don’t think I’ll be making the trip for another round.
Recognize the fact that I'm paying for food and I should get a thank you and a receipt. Black Americans eat your style of cooking, but do you eat ours? Don't disrespect me after I've paid and just walk away saying absolutely nothing and not giving me a receipt. Then allowing a Caucasian woman to scream at me!! I don't need your food or racist service. I could have left without paying but I was honest and asked for my receipt. Be grateful. Trust me I won't be back
YOU FORGOT HOW YOU SUPPORTED THE RACIST CUSTOMER HOLLERED FROM BEHIND!! YOUR STAFF WALKED AWAY WITHOUT CHECKING THE CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION. TELL THE TRUTH!!!
Asked for Extra Spoons and received no spoons with my order.
My food this go round wasn't good at all. Very salty. Also they ask for tips before you even taste their food. Since moving to the Richmond area from Baltimore I haven't found any good Chinese restaurants here.
I came to this restaurant because I absolutely love sushi and I just finished my exam and wanted a treat. I originally order spring rolls, tempura shrimp, and pork fried dumplings. I started with the pork fried dumplings and realized the pork taste was too much and slide the plate away. Then to see an ant crawl from beneath the dumpling I called for the waitress to take the plate, she seemingly got upset, squished the ant and said "you want me take it off or want some more". No ma'am, I would not like the dumplings. She left with the plate and what was an apparent attitude. To return moments later and ask how I like the rest of the appetizers. I told her my opinion of the shrimp tempura (very bready, greasy, and well not very good) in a polite way of course. She then proceeded to tell me she could cancel my entire order if I didn't like it and I replied, I never ask to cancel my order, you asked for my opinion and I was providing you with the review you asked for. She proceeded to ask again about if I wanted her to just cancel everything and just not pay, I again reiterated that I asked for no compensation no return I simply replied to the quest I was asked. She then left to go into the kitchen, where she remained until the cashier brought out my food and she then brought out the soup. Unfortunately, although I love sushi, I'm afraid to eat my food with her being in the kitchen during it preparation. I give the customer service a 1 out of ten. The shrimp spring rolls a 7. Unfortunately I can't rank anything else because I afraid to eat it.
I wish this experience was different, I regard myself as a lover of food and a great tipper of service.
This is definitely a hidden gem!
We enjoyed it so much we ordered lunch the next day!!🤣
Dumplings were overly fried could not cut them and tasted like rubber. A waste of my money. Rice was good. Donuts were cold and very little sugar
Food was great. Staff was was friendly. Very clean restaurant. I’m impressed!!
1st time ordering from here.. I definitely will b back! Chicken wings and fried scallops are 2 dye 4
This satisfied my pregnancy craving for Chinese food!! Got the chicken and broccoli with chicken fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and it was outstanding. My fortune cookie even had a QR code to a second fortune in case the first one wasn’t for me. Will definitely be back soon!
Great place to host an event. Tom did everything to make class run smoothly and the food was excellent as always. If you want a first class experience with great people, look no further than the Fresh Wok on Nine
Noodles overcooked, Meat tasted like it had freezer burn. Flavor was lacking. Egg roll was meh.. Had decent hopes to find good take out. The search continues...
quiet usually, nice food
Fast and relatively affordable but almost completely devoid of flavor.
Nice quiet place to eat great food...

Hands down one of the best gems in the East End. The food and service are amazing. Very generous portions both dining in and take out. One of my favorite places.
Always ❤good food.
Sometimes the older woman acts a little funny but other wise the service is usually good.
The only place with sweet and sour pork.
The food is very good, my cousin told me about this restaurant. Great find!
First time.... Very clean, very polite crew and the chicken mei fun is delicious and enough for 3 meals for me... I will be returning...Thank you, Kay
Won't be ordering from Fresh Wok any more!
It really is sad, the only thing that is poor is their business ethic
We always support our local businesses but I guess our money isn't good to them✌🏽
I've managed restaurants before and they just flat out aren't doing it right PERIOD
To start I DO NOT do reviews but I had to when it comes to Fresh Wok.
When I walked in to Fresh Wok I was very pleased with the atmosphere. The staff was very helpful; for this was my first time placing an order here. If you were to just be riding by you'd think they don't get guest; that's definitely not the case here.
I'm very picky when it comes to international dining and have been trying to find a convenient place to order an international mix of cuisines. The rice was the perfect consistency, the rolls were fresh and very tasty. The gravy for the Egg Foo Young was a nice brown and the thickness and flavor were on point. Lastly I do not want to leave out the Tai Tea, OMG, I was ready to go back in an order another one.
Fresh Wok will definitely get my business. They don't make you tip but for the quality it's worth one for the service you get.
Food was fresh and delicious👍 me and the hubby will be back , this is indeed our go too for Chinese cuisine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Short review: Best asian food Ive ever had, best value for asian food I've ever had. And Ive had a LOT of different asian food. I had sesame chicken, fried rice, and shrimp tempura sushi rolls. If you like those three things, absolutely go here, and if you like other things, its safe to say theyre probably also amazing.
This is by far the best deal you will get for asian food. The sesame chicken was not only the best tasting, and feeling chicken Ive ever had, but it also was a huge portion for what it cost. The sushi was also very good, the shrimp was crunchy, and the rice and seaweed wrap werent stale, which is something that happens a lot with lower quality sushi. I got to see the california roll too, which is a very basic sushi, but it still looked really high quality. The miso soup was not the bare minimum like most places, it had green onions, seaweed, and tofu. The fried rice was hands down the best fried rice I have ever had. And I know I said that about the other items, but this fried rice is the easiest to sell. It was another massive portion, and it had plenty of eggs, shrimp, chicken, and pork in it. A lot of places dont put much of the extra stuff in their rice, but this place doesn't disappoint. The wait time for the soupwas about 5 minutes, and the wait for the rest of the good was only 10 to 15. However we were eating at a time when noone else was there, so it probably is longer if you go at a more crowded time. They didn't have any music playing, which I liked because I could speak at a normal level, and the eating area and bathroom were very clean.
Great place to go with family or friends since the serving are enough for two or three.
If you like asian food a lot, I can highly recommend it. If your on the fence, this is a good place to go to try things.
The food was very similar in taste to Chicago Chinatown restaurants. Delicious, authentic, and flavorful.
Fantastic Chinese food and amazing sushi 🍣.
Good service and the food is always good
We tired Fresh Wok for the first time tonight. They have a large menu and the meals were out quickly. The food was just ok… the chicken had an odd texture. When it was time to pay we went to the counter and the total seemed high, but I didn’t realize it until after. The guy checking us out asked if we wanted to tip and we said yes and added 20% to the bill. Realizing the amount was high I asked for an itemized receipt. They charged us a “service fee” of 15%. I went back in and asked what this fee was for. The lady told us that they charge that because people don’t tip… I told her I did tip and she just said sorry. You should tell people this before you ask if someone wants to leave a tip!!!!! We ended up tipping 35% for Chinese food that wasn’t even good. Never again!
I really don’t know how they have a 4.2 star rating . For one it’s only 5 pieces of chicken in my chicken & broccoli 5! 2. I asked for pork added into my fried rice with only onions ( $3.50 to add the pork & $1.00 just to only have onions ) WHY !? Not to remind you all of my gravy sauce is in my bag .. then they only give you 2 soy sauce packets , you ask for more they give 2 more . & let’s not forget they only have vegetable egg rolls .. sticking to Li’S Garden From Now On ! Too bad they were closed .. & I was craving Asian PICTURES BELOW
BEST CHINESE IN THE EAST END!
Food is AMAZING!! Great service to.
Went for a second time food still amazing.
The food was bland, my partner asked for extra spicy and it wasn't. I had the DRAGON ROLL, it was bland. Nice service, attentive.
They get me right every time and I don’t have to drive all the way across town yess.
Called in the other night and tried to place an order. I was very polite on the line. I then was told it is required for me to tip now. I was told that I never tip and that they won’t deliver to me unless I tip. So unprofessional… so I politely canceled the order then the woman (older woman) just hung up in my ear. Like wow. I even recorded the call between us both. It was so outrageous!
BEWARE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH! They force you to tip🤮
These people are absolutely rude! Owner hung up in my ear. This will be the last time they get my buisness.
This is a great place to eat. Food is always fresh, and tastes great. Clean restaurant, family is nice and kind.
do not go here. This place is a nickel and dime restaurant. They illegally charge a surcharge for credit cards. And to get rice with no onions is a surcharge. Petty Chinese people
Wow! The food was outstanding. This was our 1st time visiting and wanted to try the sushi. We dined in and the young lady was very friendly. Definitely will be back!
The staff are always nice and the restaurant is always clean.
Freshly Prepared Food everytime! Broccoli 🥦 cooked perfectly never mushy!!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Great place to eat. Food was outstanding and the service was fast.
Clean and fresh place to enjoy a meal.
I had a horrible experience. I’ll ask if I can have no carrots and peas in my fried rice, and was told “ you people always have request” I just politely asked for a refund and left never again.
The food is amazing here
Food was delivered to wrong address and when I asked delivery driver to bring it to the correct address he was rude and will not give my refund back
Sushi is fire!
Extensive menu choices of Asian cuisine.

So glad we went to this restaurant. Extensive diverse menu from a few cultures and very good. Seriously good menu. ( was better in person) Food was excellent as we ordered Double Dragon as that was good. Sushi was amazing as we weee stuffed! Ordered Honeymoon Roll and and Columbia Roll.. both was 🔥🔥
Delicious! We tried some wok dishes, sushi and and the Tom ka soup. All of them were really good! Pleasantly surprised and the waiter was so friendly.
Food is usually good and I’ve patronized this place for a few years a
now, during and after the pandemic. Service is typically good but today the older woman was extremely and unnecessarily rude to me as I was picking up. She yelled at me about which order was mine and there’s rarely a case where you need to yell at a customer. Sad - but won’t be back.
How this place has over 4 stars actually makes me want to put the blame on the community rather than just the restaurant. It really did seem like a decent place at first, especially for the area. Partner and I ordered the beef salad, sushi, and a couple appetizers to try it all out.
The beef in the beef salad was rancid and there was a pool of liquid making the entire salad soggy. The sushi was old and slimy with a foul odor. The eggrolls were okay, a little greasy. The crab wontons were okay, also a little greasy. We threw away pretty much everything almost immediately. Due to language barriers and other reviews, I plan to just dispute with my card company rather than wasting time to get the money back.
I’ll do the community a favor on this one, perhaps just stay away unless you have a supremely low bar for quality food.
Though the food was flavorful, I was extremely disappointed in the proportion of onions to meat. The entire container was chock full of onions. I had to dig around to find the few pieces of beef within the meal. If I wanted onions and rice I would have simply ordered that. The picture posted is BEFORE I ate any of it. Please do better!
Bought dinner from there a few weeks ago. They are not transparent about their prices, they make you believe that you will buy an item for x and they charge you y, and they are rude. The food is also mediocre considering that they use unhealthy oils. Don’t expect much other than heavy sauces that leave a sour taste in your mouth.
They charge almost a whole meal price $5.95 for dine-in coconut tom kai soup. But that’s not the reason for my 1 star review.
They purposefully DO NOT update their printed menu prices. And of course they don’t tell you that when they hand you the to-go menu so that they charge on top of it, this is apart from tax, just out of their pure pleasure. When you ask they say “go check our actual prices on website. We didn’t print yet”. Well come next year and for sure they didn’t have time to print yet. Smart played hidden fee scam over there out of nowhere. Before I used to be sad about this kind of a place losing it to franchises, well they deserve to go out of business.
Refused to give me additional soy sauce packages. (2). There was no chop sticks included in my takeout. I will never go back there again.
I don’t understand why this place is not always packed ! When they say Fresh Wok they really mean it ! One of the best things I love about this place is that your food is always made to order ! Everything you order loves up to the name and very well seasoned . And they prices are amazing and you get soooo much food ! That roasted pork fried rice will not disappoint! Real big chunks of pork ! Please try this place out !
Cool place to dine-in. Called order in. They got everything right. Customer service was lil frigid, but staff was helpful & through. Unfortunately our fortune cookie 🥠 didn't have a fortune. 😒. But the seseme chicken was awesome 👌🏾
Food is always good and tastes fresh! I often order thru DoorDash. They always make sure to call for clarification or for preferences/changes which is great instead of just cancelling the order. They have the best wonton soup! Although everything I've ordered (Thai Tea, shrimp fried rice, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, fried scallops, crab rangoons, egg rolls, shrimp tempura, & pretty much every sushi option) has been great!
Wow. I'm impressed. The food was great. I'll definitely be back
Great Pad Thai.
Update: try the Double Dragon. It was amazing
Great food, service is good too. One of our go to spots.
Another excellent meal tonight. We dinned in
Excellent food choices, 5 in our party each ordered something different and each was great! Large menu with many options and fantastic young man served us!
Very bad customer service provided today. I called to order some lunch for me and my daughter and the lady was extremely rude, I cancelled my order after experiencing her poor service. I normally eat there sushi or general tso because it’s pretty good and normally have good service ,but today was terrible I found a great restaurant up the street from them who gave me great customer service and delicious hot food for under 25$. I will never return to Fresh wok after today’s experience
The food is good but everytime I go there and pay for my food with cash or card and I hand it to the boy he places my card or change on the counter which a form of straight disrespect. That and the junky. Parking lot is my only complaint. Respect ur elders little boy!
Update: I moved-still get my takeout from here. Just got some last night and I still love them 🩷
It took me 3 years of living in the area to find a good Chinese food restaurant..I Absolutely recommend this place. Food has always been great the service is quick and they really did a great job throughout covid. I probably order from here twice a month but definitely will not go anywhere else when I want Chinese delivery!
Great place to eat lot of food for your money very clean and great service. Outside looks like dump but inside is remarkable
Good food but DO NOT eat in. The absolute worst service known to man. They messed up my order twice. No apologies. The attitude was stick it where the sun dosnt shine. I refused to leave a tip so the young Asian lady refused to bag my soup to take home. That's the last straw. They will be out of business within 2 years.
Food always hot even when it's delivered.
I picked up to go but the food was great.
Best food in the EAST END!!
They leave items out of your bag had this to happen to me twice, so check your bag before leaving
My go to place for a Philadelphia roll. Love that they provide a sweet and sour shrimp option! Beef and broccoli is also super juicy
New favorite Chinese place. My kids also love it
This was the best food I ever ate in my life
I have ordered here multiple times and the food is decent. However, when they make a mistake, they are not willing to correct it. They also will upcharge you without explanation. Please ask about what you are paying for, before you hang up. I am not going back.
Everything was delicious! They have handmade egg rolls! I'm definitely going again!
Well priced lunch menu. Very flavorful food. Great service. Clean and comfortable environment.
best in town!
Today I tried the Vietnamese rice noodle soup it was delicious definitely what I needed in this cold weather service was quick and easy i usual get the shrimp egg foo young which is always delicious the food here always taste fresh and hot
Great food and awesome service friendly staff
Staff was friendly. Broccoli was hard as a brick you have to tell them cook it soft.
The make you wait well others walk in and out horrible service, never coming back
If i could give negative stars i would I’ve ordered food from them about 3 times each time the lady in front was very rude like our money is not what keeps her in business but this last time is the very last time i ordered my food the lady was rude as usual when i got my food i sat down to taste my food to make sure my sushi was prepared right when they told me i could not sit down in there to try my food i will never go back again to be told i can’t sit down with my food that i just spent my money for is beyond rude also the egg fo young i previously ordered from them was disgusting my boyfriend and i threw it away because when we called to tell them about it the lady was RUDE like always DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS OTHER CHINESE RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA WITH BETTER FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT WILL ALLOW PAYING CUSTOMERS TO SIT AND EAT OR TASTE THEIR FOOD The food was not sampled at the counter i sat at a table in a chair and was told to get up and never was informed if i buy food there i could not sit down and taste my food prior to leaving because i never opened my food at the counter but of course lie to save face so now we see they are lairs as well
The food is always good. They get my order to me in a timely manner. I have not dined in here, but I would guess the food would be better straight off of the stove.
I have been ordering from this restaurant for a few years now. I've eaten in the restaurant and have had delivery. Yesterday I ordered two menu items one of which was roast pork egg foo young. I did not realize after the delivery that it was actually shrimp egg foo young. The person the order was for has a shellfish allergy very severe so the food could not be eaten. I contacted the restaurant spoke with a manager and he stated that it was too late for him to deliver the same night but to go ahead and call in whenever I wanted to get an order placed free of charge for what I requested which was roast pork egg foo young. Today I called in for this order but the manager refused to have a delivered unless I ordered more food. Now please understand I have paid the service fee and I've tipped the driver and have been a regular customer for years. Now the manager tells me I have to order more food in order for him to give me the corrected item ordered. Does he not understand the dangers in someone eating shellfish who is highly allergic in addition being a regular customer I would imagine that he would have had his driver sent out the delivery order today to make things right from a customer service standpoint. Due to this I will not be ordering again. I am a small business owner myself and go through Great lengths to satisfy my customers particularly when they are long-standing customers. I should not have to order more food in order to get the correct order they should have come to begin with. Terrible customer service
Great customer service! Miso soup is wonderful! Shrimp tempura sushi roll and beef lo mein are also spot on!
In short; everything was well timed :)
First time customer. Ordered Gen Tso, Twice cooked pork, Chicken eggfoo young and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious and hot even after the 8 mile drive home. I Will definitely be back for a second time this month. Exceptional service.
Too bad my phone was low on charge.
I went there 14 minutes prior to close.
The guy was closing the registry when I entered, and I didn't want him to keep him, but he was very kind. And gave me the option of takeout or dine in.
The food was great. I even ordered takeout for the hotel.
Offer for lunch time, 3 rolls for 12$. I will be back for sure for photos and updates.
Clean quiet nice restaurant. Food was very good.
It's so hard to find really good Chinese food, especially in the east end. When our good standby, Panda Garden, had an unfortunate fire, we were forced to find a new place. Sampled many, but none came close to the quality of Fresh Wok. Excellent flavors, vegetables were not overcooked, and they even offer good Thai and really good sushi! I hope they stay in business for a long time to come, but if you haven't tried them yet, drop your dinner plans and head here immediately before it's too late! They even had live music last time I stopped by for carry-out!
If I could give zero stars I would! They put me on the “no service list” because I was uncomfortable with giving my card information over the phone. I stated I prefer swiping in person and they refuse. The man was extremely rude and very inconsiderate.
General TSO's chicken and pad Thai noodles were good. Can't believe they sent out chicken on a stick, BURNT.
The tofu dishes are so good and everything actually does taste very fresh! The sauces aren't too thick and gooey like some other Asian restaurants and the tofu dishes have a generous portion of veggies too. Definitely going back!
Worse Kung Pao Chicken I’ve ever had. Lo Mein meh 🫤. Thought I’d try them again and get something different. Still a no. I won’t be going back. And did I see mold after I ordered and paid? Maybe but between the food and that I won’t be walking through those doors again.
Great service, great food, great prices!
Favorite spot for a variety of delicious Chinese food... Never disappointed...food is always fresh and very quick delivery.
