The food here was really delicious. I especially loved the sticky rice with mango. I also appreciated the serving sizes. They were not small or overflowing, they really were just the right amount. Both myself and my husband enjoyed our meals and plan to come back. The Thai soup is another great pick. Really can't go wrong with the food here. The bubble teas are good as well.
This has been my favorite Thai food since we moved here three years ago. The owner is usually always there with a big smile making yummy food. Over the past 6-9 months he has had other people working in the kitchen & not around much. I have had trouble with communicating with them. I called in an order & when I got home got something totally different than I ordered. They had me come back give them back an appetizer I didn’t order & pay the difference of what I ordered even though it was their fault. So I started ordering online to avoid any communication problems. We order our food mild. One time the pad Thai had this red stuff on the top that it never had before & it was the hot spice. I mentioned it to them & they insisted they always make it that way but we have ordered there once a week for the past 3 years & have never had that much spice on a mild dish. Recently we ordered several dishes all mild & only one of the dishes were mild. The rest we could only eat half & had to throw the rest away. I’m disappointed that the owner is not taking as much interest as he had in the past & the people he hired just want to get the food out however they decide to do it.
This is our go to place for lunch for really good, authentic Thai food. My wife and I previously lived in Thailand for more than 5 years and developed a love of good Thai food.
Often times it is difficult to find Thai restaurants in the US that can come close to Thai food in Thailand because of the difficulties in finding the right ingredients and/or the difficulties of finding a really good Thai chef.
Fortunately, Thai Times has both of these areas covered.
The restaurant is casual and does a busy take out busy. In fact it reminds me of our days eating out in the Issan region of Thailand.
The owners, Poom and Pang are two of the nicest people you will find. In addition they have a young daughter who is quite the artist, as you can see her art work displayed in the restaurant.
Poom and Pang will go out of their ways to make your Thai dish anyway you like. If you want it extra spicy, just ask. Note, one pepper provides a decent 'kick' for those who like their food spicy.
My wife typically orders the tofu-krapow dish and I often order the combo lunch of either chicken phad thai and either chicken drunken noodle or chicken panang. The drunken noodle will be a little spicier than the panang. The quality of the food is really good, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. On occasion, I will take home a portion of the combo to eat later.
We also usually order the som tom (salad). Note, getting som tom that tastes like you are in Thailand is exceedingly difficult in the US because of the ingredients. Thai Time definitely delivers on providing a very tasty (aroi) som tom.
Anyhow, if you are looking for a really good Thai food experience, from wonderfully nice Thai owners, I would recommend that you give Thai Time a try.
They have 15% off going on right now. The food was OK for me, not WOW or Mmmm. The service was good. I wish the Thai fried rice had had more flavor. I think Thai Time is a good option for a casual lunch. But if you want to experience a more "Thai" flavor, I would recommend Rabieng Thai or Dungrat's Thai in the same Falls Church area.
Not all customers go to a restaurant because of the value for money. The core element of attracting customers still depends on the food itself. It is a pity that I cannot fully feel it from their products. Although they have worked very hard. Keep on working hard. Looking forward to surprises in the future.

Faeang Broccoli instead of Chinese Broccoli. Just not right.
Delicious pad Thai and curries.

Small little authentic Thai restaurant for dine in and takeout.
Small, clean and cozy. Friendly services.
Stored fried beef basil with rice was delicious. Free parking lot in front, usually not difficult to find a spot.
Outstanding food and service from Alice!! Tradional chicken fried rice spring rolls and Thai Basil seafood fried rice!!
Clean and friendly service. Food was great.
Nothing fancy but simple and clean place with great tasting Thai food. I had the Thai fried rice and it was delicious.
Food is a bit toward sweet side

Some of the best Thai I've had in the DC area, thanks to its authenticity. The Num Tok Moo Yang was a delight.
I’ve been coming here for a year and a half and it’s my absolute favorite. Any time I try other Thai places I compare it to Thai time and so far they fail in comparison. The owner is always so kind and whether I dine in or pick up the food is so fresh and tasty and the service is with a smile and a warm welcome! 😊
I love eat pad se eew but DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RESTAURANT, I paid $18 for my pad se eew and tasty to metal, no sauce everything looks like a boiled and put it in a plate, I am so mad because I paid for this, smells really bad and tasty to metal 😡 do not buy nothing from that restaurant
Uber Order, no utensils, no napkins.
Pad Thai tastes like awful, Drunken Noodles were on the mark.
Spring rolls very bland without sauce, some like the sauce, some did not.
I might try it in person, but not via delivery.
Excellent flavor, we got delivery and everything was packaged with care. Hot things were hot and not soggy, and not a drop spilled. Order was the correct spice level and all modifications were followed.
Poco espacio
This place is absolutely incredible! The owner is so sweet and so considerate. Not to mention, the food is AMAZING!!!!! The basil fried rice and drunken noodles especially are too good. And you have to try the Thai tea, literally the best Thai tea I have ever had anywhere! Especially when the owner makes it. Lastly, do not dare leave without trying their mango sticky rice, it is to die for!!
Food not at all worth the price. Portions are good.
I liked a lot this location. the guy in the front desk is very nice . the food delicious . a
I love their pad Thai , garlic chicken , and papaya salad ,
Great lunch specials — very filling and very flavorful food !!
Best Thai restaurant in Falls Church by far. The food is always warm and prepared deliciously. When dining in, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the hosts are very attentive and kind. Never had any issues with ordering online either. I recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing Thai food in NoVA.
I love the shrimp fried rice....its always so fresh and falvorful and great portion size.
Great local eatery. We get takeout from here often. Great stuff!
Food was really good. The guy was super nice. Establishment was clean & very nice. Great first take-out experience. Take out was well packed & nothing was missing ♥️
Have been ordering takeout from Thai Time for 2+ years and it never misses. Pad See Ew and Pad Thai are a must. Extremely flavorful and consistent. Also the most helpful staff — accidentally cancelled an UberEats order and was about to be double charged. Tom went above and beyond to make sure we weren’t. Could not recommend more highly.
I’ve only ordered delivery from here but it’s been good both times! Their pad Thai is delicious and is a nice large portion. The crab rangoons are even better and filled well. I ordered the pad Thai at a medium spice level and honestly could take more spice. I’ve also tried their red curry with shrimp which was good too. This has become my go to Thai restaurant to order takeout!
Smallest spring rolls I've ever seen, definitely over priced for the size, NY general tso chicken is much better
The food was great and they had phenomenal customer service! Will definitely be coming back.
Owner is very nice and the food is 10 out of 10
My husband and I LOVE ordering takeout from here. So flavorful and delicious! My husband jokes because every time I eat here, I tell him how good it tastes!
I love the Thai combos. It's a perfect way to get into Thai food. The padthai and drunken noodles are delicious
I love this restaurant. The food is amazing, the owner and his wife are amazing. The new lady who works the front when the owner is not there is rude. I recommended Thai Time to some friends and they said she was cold, never smiling, always seemed annoyed, has an attitude, and is rude. I have experienced the same treatment from her as well. Thai Time should and deserves a 5 star review but because this new lady works when the owner is not there I cannot. If she could be decent then I’d revise my review. I hope the owner sees this and talks to her because she is the only negative to the restaurant.
Thai Time has quickly become a family favorite and a favorite of several friends as well. Really solid food and we love the mango sticky rice for dessert!
Very good Thai food. The Drunken noodles do not disappoint - nice and spicy. Fried dumplings and fried tofu with plum peanut sauce were both excellent. Our party of four has four separate dishes and all were very good.
Slower service but very yummy food. Local mom and pop sort of shop just outside the Eden Center. Great dishes and a cozy vibe. Nothing fancy. My tom kha gai (coconut shrimp soup) was delicious and the chicken skewers and spring rolls were yummy. Seems more like a take out place than sit down, but I didn't mind eating in this time around.
The bubble tea and pad thai are great
We did take out. Food was excellent. We had Pannagh Chicken curry and Chicken drunken noodles. Both were excellent, the quantity was more than sufficient for 2 people.
Awesome! Fast, super friendly service, fantastic food and boba <3 will come again!
Cute little place with great food. Service was excellent, very friendly owner.
All around great place! Wife had the drunken noodles, I had the garlic chicken stir-fry, and the kids had the chicken fried rice. All delicious!!! Atmosphere was super friendly and easy going. Indoor seating and take out available . Wife says the bubble tea was off the chain too!
My favorite Thai place! It's small and personal but the food is amazing. And the couple that own it are really friendly and give great service!
Great service! People super nice and the food is great (Spicy or not spicy). I’ll definitely go back :)
The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was top notch! We recommend 👌🏼
Pricey but food was spicy. I liked it but wifey didn’t. If you like spicy and don’t mind paying a little extra then it’s solid arlington choice. So that’s 3 qost, 3 quantity, 4 quality. Worth a try
Love their box lunch specials. Best Thai food in Arlington/Falls church
Tasty food, super friendly staff, extremely clean and comfy restaurant, and well priced to boot.
Literally the best. Hands down.
Great food. Love it.
My husband's drunken noodles with chicken was great, and my drunken noodles with beef was incredibly great! We chose the passion fruit cheesecake for dessert, and that was a good choice as well. When you arrive here, you are warmly greeted by Pom, who continues to watch over for your needs throughout your visit here. Restroom was very well equipped with paper towels, deodorizer spray, and upgraded toilet paper and bottled hand soap. They even have a wall-hanging picture of a French bulldog on a bicycle.
Wonderful service! They didn’t see my order online but apologized, quickly made it and even brought it out to my car. They were so kind I don’t mind and I will be back. Genuine niceness
Everything about their food screams fresh! The blanket shrimp are consistently crispy and so good. I tried the combo pad thai and kaprow and love that I get 2 separate dishes with this and we requested everything to be double/triple Thai-hot and it was. We love this place!
My favorite Thai place in Arlington! Their food is so flavorful - I usually get the Thai fried rice, panang curry, pad Thai, or drunken noodles.
Absolutely delicious. No criticism at all. Will come back
Wonderful food that is prepared quick and it leaves you wanting more every time!!!
This place is terrific. They serve great Thai food at great prices. If you are a fan of Thai food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. It's becoming a go-to for me. They are very friendly, too.
The green curry was not traditional at all, it had green beans in it and was weirdly sweet. It almost seemed like the rice had something sweet in it too which was odd. We tried the spring rolls as well which were a rip off, $7 for 3 very small spring rolls. Only got an extra star because of the discount they were running.
While they could make the fried rice gluten free, the portion was pretty small for $14 so won’t be going back.
They adjusted the price and I ended up with no dinner. I have eaten here in the past and it’s not good and not good value so one star from me
Extremely disappointed... portions are beyond tiny, the springs roles are about 3 inches long (being generous). Way overpriced, I am honestly shocked at how small the portions are.
Staff is always super nice! Pop pop shrimp is so tasty and yellow curry is excellent.
I have been to Thai Time at least 3 times and have enjoyed each experience. The space and atmosphere are nice and chill. Service is superb. Owner and manager are really nice and seem to care about giving customers great experience, and the food is really delicious and affordable. Highly recommend!
I love the fact that they do combos, such as the combo of Pad Thai and Kaprow, because sometimes I want both but don't want whole entree sizes for both. And it's tasty! I asked for just below Thai hot and it's still wasn't spicy enough so I think I'll risk it and get Thai hot next time.
Delicious food. A little pricy for the amount, but very good
The food was awesome!
They were very polite, courteous and and took time with me as I navigated what options would satisfy my craving.❤
Great small low-key place with delicious menu variety. Friendly, helpful staff. Several tables to eat inside or can order ahead for to-go. Will certainly visit again!
Best drunken noodles I ever had. Friendly and fast. Definitely recommended!
Great food with amazing flavors.
Very nice decorating, neat ambient, easy instrumental music.
Excellent prices.
Prices are the same at any hour, not like others with 2 different prices lunch and dinner.
Sometime someday something
Good food at a fair price.
Great options for vegetarians
Very friendly staff!! Super cute and AMAZING food. 11/10

Yeah...!!! Thai Time, means a good curry time and sweet sticky rice..no doubt, good flavor, their Mango dessert fabulous..!!! Price affordable, portion I wish could be little bit more...because so good...
Really solid thai food at great prices. Very consistent so far. Quickly becoming a new go-to for me for lunch. Fresh ingredients.
Such good Thai food!! Everything was amazing and big portion for the price. I love the panag curry and it comes with lots of veggies and meat when other Thai places skimp out on!
Awesome restaurant with a lot of good choices. The Thai fried rice and drunken noodles are my picks
This is the new Thai spot on the block, we've been twice and it takes the cake for our new fave.
🤤 the food is delicious
✅ the price is right
🤗 the customer service is amazing.
I have high hopes for this place. We will definitely be returning (aka ordering from here at least once a week 😅😆)
Loved the food! Will definitely come back again!
Really enjoyed this new place in the area! Great food and prices and so so fast. Will definitely be back to try the poke
Great neighborhood Thai restaurant. Very clean with good food!
Just had lunch at this hidden gem. Delicious food, clean, reasonably priced, nice staff! Will definitely be back!
Ordered a few different dishes--pad thai, drunken noodles, and green curry. All were good and generous with the protein and veggies. I also appreciated that you could actually detect the fish sauce. Some places seem to omit it or at least go so easy you can't even tell it's there. The service was very friendly and upbeat on top of everything. Excited to make this place a go-to spot.
We tried this restaurant today and ordered chicken pad Thai & beef drunken noodles, both dishes perfectly cooked and flavored. Will definitely be trying more dishes. The restaurant is amazingly spotless and very modern.
The food is really good. My favorite is the lunch combo of penang chicken and pad thai. The owner and staff are also nice and accommodating. I highly recommend eating here.
I brought food and milk tea from this restaurant approximately five times since the restaurant opened up back in May. The food and the milk tea is really delicious. Also the price is very reasonable and portion is enough that there isn't any left over. Lastly, the owner is really polite and friendly!! Highly recommended and its a great addition to the neighborhood!
Great! The owner was super friendly and the was was delicious and made fairly quickly! Nice and clean place! Will definitely comeback
Great delivery Thai. Very reasonable prices, food was well spiced, noodles were fresh and not overcooked. Bubble tea was also good!
