This was one of the best Thai food experiences I have had here in the C’ville/Crozet area. My pork belly dish was amazing. Full of rich flavor, tender pork, and perfect spiciness. I highly recommend popping in here for lunch or dinner whether you’re a local or just passing through.

It's an amazing Thai place with a great view. We stopped here on our way back from Shenandoah national park.
Pros: Green curry, veg roll and butternut squash curry were tasty. Portions size are good or more compared to other Thai places I have had. The staff are friendly.
Cons: The crispy roll quantity and the stuffing within was less compared to the other places I have had.
You can mention if you need the dish to be vegan.

We were very excited to find a Thai place nearby! We ordered the Pad Thai, Butternut Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice. Each dish was excellent and we were given large portions! We can't wait to come back and try more!

Best Thai restaurant in Virginia. The drinks are amazing and the food is brilliant. Have enjoyed every item we have tried on menu.

I have been to every Thai, and frankly every Asian restaurant in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas. This restaurant is clearly the best Thai and in an elite few asian restaurants that actually deliver more than just an Americanized version of the countries cuisine. Not only is the menu, diverse and impressive, but I am continuously astonished that the kitchen executes everything correctly without error every time I come here.

I can not recommend this place strongly enough.

This place is terrible. Take-out is rarely ready on time, even if you order with plenty of advanced notice. Their servers spilt wine on me and hardly apologized. If you want thai food and are in Crozet, go to Luv2eat thai.

Foods good but portions are small for the price

A solid part of Kitty Ashi's mini-Thai empire in Charlottesville -- traditional, reliable Thai cuisine. The spice level may be a bit toned down for the Old Trail Crowd so if you're looking for the heat I'd let your server know.

The food was really good but a little sweet. Atmosphere or decor can be more live rather than dull.

Food was good, on par with other Thai restaurants. Drinks and appetizers came quickly but after an hour we asked where our entrees were and was told they were going to start cooking it soon. Took another 15 minutes after that. Half our group had to take their meal to go because it took so long. They weren’t even busy.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service and, best of all, excellent food. Was worth the drive from Cville.

Stopped by on our way back to Richmond from Stuarts Draft. Pretty quick detour from the highway. Food was very good, we loved the Tom yum soup, the butternut squash and green curry as well as the kao soi. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about what goes into their dishes, which is great when you have food intolerances and want to feel confident your order will be something you can enjoy. If you’re passing by, definitely check it out. Yum 😋.

I love love love this place. I have never been disappointed since the food is consistently delicious. Tried different dishes each visit and it always hits the spot. Ever since we tried the curry puff, it is a must have everytime we order! They have a way with bok choy too. I just love the food and the staff is pretty friendly too.

Very disappointing meal. The coconut shrimp were not fresh. Previously prepared, limp and stale. All the dishes were poor quality, lacking true Tai flavors and devoid of proper seasoning. Do not waste your money here.

Nice decor and very good food

Incredible service, atmosphere, and food. Wow this place is amazing. Visiting from out of town and this had many great reviews so decided to check it out and very glad we did ! Had the Pad See Ew and Drunken noodle dish, both were incredible. Did not have to wait long either. Prices are extremely fair especially for how much you get- had enough to take home! Highly recommend checking this place out!

We love this place. The one criticism is the inconsistent level of spice. “Mild” is often too spicy, and level 4 of 1-5 “spicy” is way hotter, and feels like the 5, “Thai spicy”.

The best Thai food I’ve ever eaten!! If you are ever in the Crozet/Charlottesville area, stop here. You will not be disappointed. I’ve had at least half the menu now and I’ve never been unhappy. Customer service is excellent, the employees and everyone remember you and I’ve even had them remember my order!

I’ve had most of their dishes here and everything’s excellent - the street food options like the sausage and pork belly are really good - I especially love their curries and soft shell crab - the portions are about avg for Thai restaurants and the food is very fresh - this place is definitely a step above most Thai restaurants taste-wise

This place never disapoints, food is fresh, dishes consistent, great customer service as well. Can be crowded during prime hours Friday/Saturday.....tofu Pad Thai is delicious! They also have top shelf whiskeys, allocated stuff....seriously, very good food.

Have eaten here twice with friends and been pleased both times. Lots of fresh ingredients in the traditional Thai cuisine. Nice presentation. Flavors are distinct and not muddled together. The best preparation of tofu that I have found in the area. Appetizers are unusual and delicious. Very pleased.

Am so happy I gave this place a shot today, my food was amazing!! Finally have a good Thai place here in Crozet that actually makes their food hot when you ask for Thai hot. Thanks to the young lady working that even threw in a little extra sauce for my food. Will definitely be returning!!

We eat here at least once a month and generally love the food (hence the three stars), but this last experience will probably keep us away for a while out of principle. We found a large clump of hair in one of our take-out dishes and called the restaurant to address it. We (presumably) spoke to the manager or owner about it in hopes that they would accept the feedback and refund the cost of the dish. Instead, the person argued with me suggesting that maybe it was a piece of plastic from the packaging as if having plastic in the food made the situation better (🙄). He then asked me to text him a photo of the evidence, which I did and received an apathetic apology. So here is the photo which he asked for. This may be petty, but it's also disgusting.

If you're craving Thai food at all, don't second guess yourself about coming here! The food is amazing! For an appetizer we tried the crispy roll (fried egg roll) which was good. I heard the curry puff is good too so I'll have to come back and give that a try. I also got the Kapow Mince Chicken under the Chef's Specials and this hit the spot! I highly recommended this dish. There is a Ka Pow dish in the entree section but the minced chicken is the way to go. I usually look for the mince chicken option at other Thai restaurants and don't find it often. My only wish would be an over easy egg. My was over hard and not runny at all. My partner got the butternut squash curry and that was equally as delicious.

The customer service is also really good. I was accidentally charged for a bottle of wine that I never ordered and realized the mistake while driving home. I called the restaurant and they refunded that item right away.

Long story short, try this place out. The food is delicious!

Our family loves this Thai restaurant! Definitely the best in Crozet if not the best in Albermarle County. The service is prompt and friendly. The food is always so tasty and served like art pieces. The restaurant itself is stylish and very clean. We will continue to visit at least once a month for our fill.

What an unexpected delight! Traveling in Virginia and stumbled upon this lovely Thai restaurant. The food was excellent (the slow cooked beef Chuck with eggplant was superb!) as was the service. What a treat!

This little gem in Crozet, VA tucked in Old Trial neighborhood is probably the best Thai food I have ever had. Authentic, great fresh ingredients, tasty and great service. The soups are fantastic, curry dishes are delicious and lots of great peanut and coconut based traditional Thai dishes. Plenty of options for vegans and omnivores alike and THE BEST PEANUT SAUCE for the fresh spring rolls. Just a wonderful place.

Ask for a low ice thai ice tea, and they will oblige by an equal amount of omitted drink. The prices of this place simply do not reflect in respect and dignity, nor (and far worse) does it reflect in the quality of the dishes.

I didn't realize pompous was a flavor until I had to ask for a full glass.

Had dinner at Coconut last night with my wife and teenage son. Everyone gave this place top marks. Nice little restaurant with super friendly staff and great food. What a nice surprise and addition to Old Trail. I really hope this place makes it - didn't see it on Yelp! yet so want to get the word out to check it out if you are in Crozet.

Tried take out, good portions and fresh ingredients but both dishes were kind of bland. Also selected "Thai hot", and it wasn't even spicy. The takeout at the Thai places next to Harris teeter tastes better but I'll give this place another shot with indoor dinning once they get their liquor license. The interior looks nice.

The restaurant is beautiful and in a great location. Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit hectic - a lot of staff were chatting loudly across the restaurant which made it difficult to have a conversation at the table. The food wasn't hitting the mark for me - in particular the tofu was flavorless and very chewy, and the portions were a bit small. Overall there is definitely potential here but perhaps we came on an off night.

Great food and Thai coffee!

The food is 5 star! Unfortunately the one wait staff person who served us needed a guiding hand and a specific education in how to slow down his encounter with a customer. He was rushed, clumsy in his execution and rather uncouth. Specifically, shot gun speech followed by triple clicking an order for four only to redo and redo. Subsequently the plated main course was served and as the last plate hit the table surface the bill on a separate board was hurled across the table with a curt “ this is your dinner check before we even picked up our forks! I assume this is an anomaly . The Thai dishes were superb . We will give it another try and hope this young man has been guided to better customer approaches
