The owner is lovely!
Second time here, came for date night and tried some dishes we have never had before. Everything was fresh, delicious and bursting with flavor. Will be returning!

Diner Review №2

I had the drunken noodles with chicken and the steamed shrimp dumplings. Everything was delicious. The food here is always consistent. Stop by if you're looking for some good Thai food.

The service was good but the food did not taste good at all. No flavors. Not worth the price.

The food was disgusting. If this was the first time I had Thai food, I would never try it again. My husband bought the chicken drunken noodles, tom yum soup, and chicken and beef basil fried rice. The food had absolutely no flavor. I asked for spicy, so the drunken noodles was spice powdered noodles and chicken. The tom yum soup was ok, but it had pieces of dry chili peppers floating in it that I had to avoid so I don't choke. I've had better tom yum soup everywhere else. I read that they've been in business for 40yrs in the same place. This is a huge disappointment, because one of my favorite thai food restaurants closed and everything from there tasted amazing.

Diner Review №13

Food and service is second to none... Truly delightful.

Diner Review №14

The spring rolls could not have been any better!! They were crisp and light and delicious!! The duck was great!! And my companion had a curry dish which she loved, and she can be very critical. My server was personable and attentive. Our host made us feel very welcome. I wish I could eat there everyday!!

Diner Review №15

Diner Review №16

The owner is really nasty..she has had a habit of including a really high tip on my bill without my concern for years. She is really unethical..I go because my children like the food

Diner Review №17

Always always good food. Love it best Thai around.

Diner Review №18

Considering it is the only Thai restaurant in this area, it is one of the best that I have been to. The food is always good. I tried the sangria for the first time, and it was delicious. The staff always greet the patrons with a smile.

Diner Review №19

Absolutely fantastic food!!! Staff is super nice and friendly.

Diner Review №20

The restaurant Is dimly lit and servers were ok, but they did not offer water or tea while I watched for my food that I ordered to go. Most places I go to will offer that while I wait (even bars). The food came out quick and now I know why, because it was horrible. The curry puffs were sweet and seemed to be missing the chicken that was suppose to be inside. The drunken noodles were disgusting, they used the wrong noodles, there was no sauce and no real season. Just dry noodles, large basil leaves and chilie flakes. I’ve never seen drunken noodles look like this before and I’ve had them at many places. The strawberry lemonade was too sweet, they had sticky rice but not sweet sticky rice, the dessert section is not the best either. The food was expensive and I paid about 40 dollars for horrible food. I love Thai food and was looking for a place closer to my house. I will never step food in that place ever again. If you love Thai food, I would advise you to stay away!

Diner Review №25

Good food fairly priced

Diner Review №26

Ordered takeout , decided to give it a try since I was passing by the area. Ordered drunken noodles with chicken, chicken pad thai, red curry chicken. All three dishes had no flavor whatsoever. The chicken was absolutely horrible, some steamed white meat that they just threw in there. They also charged for white rice that goes with the curry. Not sure what we were supposed to eat the curry with if no white rice is served.
Maybe it’s good for someone who doesn’t know how authentic Thai food should be cooked or tastes. Additionally, it was quite cold in there, not comfortable for dine in. I do not recommend.

Diner Review №27

Delicious & Friendly Staff

Diner Review №28

Wonton soup and spring rolls were delish. Disappointed in the papya salad. Underwhelming.

Diner Review №29

The staff is amazing. Service with a smile. We have been patronizing the establishment for close to 30 years. Food is A+

Diner Review №30

Food is trash

Diner Review №31

Delicious food and drink options!

Diner Review №32

Been coming here since the early 2000s.
Massaman curry was my favorite for a while, all the whole fish are amazing and I've still never had better shumai anywhere 🤷🏽‍♀️

I love this place been going there for about 20 + years. I have never had a dish I didn’t like. The staff is friendly and remember you. I went there in 1998 I worked at the airport and I had made reservation for 15. A couple days later I realized I lost my gold bracelet. I looked everywhere it meant so much to me my grandmother gave it to me. I gave up hope finding it, about 10 months later I returned and was met by the owner, She said miss Pan Am I have your bracelet I could not believe it. I now eat there often. FIVE STARS ISN’T enough. Try it you will love it.

I was in the neighborhood visiting my mom and ordered take-out for dinner. I'm so happy that I did. The food and service were just as great as they were the last time that I took the family out for lunch years ago. It's time for a repeat. Seeda Thai is a not-so-hidden gem.

Diner Review №51

Food was very tasty and customer service was ok.

Diner Review №52

Between my wife and myself we have been eating here over 20+years. Always great food

Diner Review №53

Good food but little pricey

Diner Review №54

food was good, but the workers were rude. we asked if it was possible if they could make the fried rice wirh duck rather than chicken or pork and they started gossipping about us for it as if we couldn’t hear them. making fun of us for not reading the menu when all we did was ask if they could do it. I think 1 star would make sense but at least they pretended to be nice.

Diner Review №55

Diner Review №56

I truly enjoy this place! It’s never busy and I’m always seated right away. They hands down make the best LIT’s in Queens. The food is always great and served quickly. Prices are reasonable and affordable. The atmosphere is quiet, calm and clean. The woman that makes the awesome drinks(whom I believe is the owner) is always so friendly and welcoming. Overall great service, food and alcohol, is rare to come by, so I greatly appreciate it when I experience it. I will be a customer here as long as they’re open!

Diner Review №57

Love love this place. Service and staff is amazing. Food is always great. Been to this restaurant for 16 plus years! If around it's a must try restaurant if you're craving Thai food. And they are actually Thai?

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

Mother's day dinner with 4 adults and one child. Looks like a family owned restaurant with simple yet authentic Thai decor. We arrived 15 minutes before our 7pm reservation and waited outside until a table became free.
A lot of options for appetizer and entrees. Despite me having a fork full of something that didn't taste good on my plate. No one complained about the food or service. I would go back to see if the service would be better and try another dish.

Diner Review №65

So today is Mother’s Day I drive from New Jersey 2 hour drive to get to this restaurant I called to make a reservation the lady over the phone said come we have space for you just to get to the restaurant to tell me no space my name not on the reservation list ! On Mother’s Day really ! I am really disappointed on the customer service ! Staff needs to get better with English and talking to customers. I would not recommend this place because service is bad ! I rate them a negative 1 BAD

Diner Review №66

Sorry, but this wasn’t worth the price. Been going to this place for 20 plus years . Bought 4 items. 2 soups a salad a meat dish which was mostly lettuce, and a shrimp. Cost $80 + !!!!!! I opened up the the bag and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Shame on you !!!!!

Diner Review №67

The young woman with the colored hair is a consumant professional...

Diner Review №68

Food was good. The chai tea was delicious. Just ask them to go easy on the ice so you can actually enjoy the drink. Def a hidden gem

Diner Review №69

They obviously changed chefs a while ago. Many
of these reviews are old. Noodle dishes are gross. Curry dishes are pale, bland and boring. Waitress is rude.

Diner Review №70

I used to visit often (1999-2006) then life happens resulting in me not visiting for several years.
OMG I've missed this place so much.
The food is as good as ever and the staff an absolute delight.
They've been nominated for several well deserved awards over the years.
Definitely stop by for a visit.

Diner Review №71

I ordered Pad Se Ew and it wasn’t as flavorful as I would’ve liked it to be. However, the fried chicken was fried to perfection.

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

Small restaurant but great atmosphere. Food was very tasty. Drinks are delicious such as the frozen pina colada.

Diner Review №74

I like their chicken drunken noodles, very good

Diner Review №75

Excellent Thai food. Freshly made and tasty. It's likely the best on Long Island. Anyone I have brought here said it was the best they've had!

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

Have ordered from here several times, but have recently found better Thai places within driving distance from here. For the portions and sparse veggies, I think it's pricey. It's odd to make one choose between bamboo shoots and eggplant.

Diner Review №79

Great food. Just deliciousness!!

Diner Review №80

4 start for the cleanliness and coziness of the restaurant, 2 star for the food, tasteless and bland. Expected better from a Thai restaurant.

Diner Review №92

I have eaten here several times in the past(prior to the pandemic) and the food was great, but today was not good. My food had spice heat, but not tasty. I love the Thai Ice Tea and spring rolls, but my entree was not a hit. I will eventually give them another shot.

Diner Review №103

This is good comfort food. All curries were terrific. However the stir fry needs a bit more flavor that complements the soy sauce. The dumplings also break when you pick them with a fork. We will come back for the frog’s legs!

Diner Review №104

Randomly went here on a Wednesday evening with friends. It is a small restaurant but clean and welcoming. Dainty atmosphere but inviting. I had the whole fried sea bass with special house sauce which was not flavorful at all. The fish was fried perfectly but the sauce was not flavorful at all. The tamarind duck was mediocre and lacked flavor as well. The prices are affordable and the Thai iced tea was good. I’ll probably recommend for a take out option but I wouldn’t be returning because I was not wowed enough to return. Note: I am a Thai food junkie so this review may be bias based on the rich Thai flavors I know and love Thai dishes to have.

Diner Review №105

If you are thinking of visiting here, DON'T!! When I say this is "The Worst" food, not just Thai food, I have ever had.
I ordered fried wontons, drunken noodles and something they had called, "exotic chicken" (which was by no means exotic).
The drunken noodles was the worst of all. It was bland and bitter. I could only taste the burned chili flakes in it. This is the first time I've ever returned food back to the kitchen at a resturant. I told them it was bland and bitter. The server took it back to the kitchen and came back saying, "this should be good." It tasted the same except it was warmer. The chef needs to know that tossing food back in the wok doesn't make bland and bitter food delicious.
Then the exotic chicken, which they claimed is their best seller. And guess what, it wasn't. It comes with a pan fried chicken breast, a side of yellow rice with a cherry on top (peculiar choice of topping for rice if you ask me) and a side of peanut sauce. The dish just simply bland. The chicken was drier than the Sahara desert. No amount of peanut sauce was enough to save the driest and blandest chicken and rice with cherry on top.
The wontons was drenched in oil. Streams of oil flooded out of it in every bite. It tasted like cheap, frozen wontons that was microwaved and then dipped in oil.
I would not even offer this food to my worst enemy. I cried at the resturant, Thai food is one of my most favorite cuisins and now its completely ruined for me. Please don't waste your time and money on food this bad.

Diner Review №117

Hands down, without a doubt, the best thai food on Long Island. Pay no attention to anyone who leaves a negative comment. They must have no sense of taste. This place is phenomenal. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating... Everything I've ever ordered here was incredibly delicious and the Mai Tai's at this place are a taste of heaven. The wife and I LOVE Seeda Thai!

Diner Review №118

I used to come here and I really loved it .. this visit .. I am so disappointed.. ugly seafood medly .. very old a shewy.. I ordered the shrimp with almonds ..be careful.. they should call it fried shrimp with mayonnaise..
My friend who brought me here .. died ..and I guess this is a sign of not coming here again.. very bad experience..

Diner Review №119

I know thai food and there are better options to choose from than this. I prefer Sarin or BKNY, I even went to Boston and had better thai than this. The dish was supposed to be a spicy basil dish and I taste no basil, there was no flavor just spice. I will not be back, which is sad because I wanted to try the noodles.

Diner Review №120

I've been here twice now and I must say. The service is great and the food is just as good.

Diner Review №121

These are the fattest noodles I've ever had in Pad See Ew. They were absolutely phenomenal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

This is the worst Thai food I ever tasted. It was bland. I was so excited when I heard all the good reviews. It was a disappointment. Never going there again. I ordered a cucumber salad. It was $2.50. It came in small condiment container. They even charged for the rice and it was in the smallest container possible, after you order a whole entree. It should come automatically with the entree.

Diner Review №124

It was windy yesterday kids were ready to go inside we decided to order the local Thai food that was nearby worst decision ever first of all we called to order food for pickup normally Massaman Curry any of those dishes red curry green curry comes with rice not this place no it's a la carte how do you have a meal like Massaman Curry and it doesn't come with anything just the veggies and the broth is it soup I'm confused so we forgo the rice we order pot see you pad thai drunken noodles fried rice also we order the Thai chicken wings sauce on the side for the kids now our family traveled well cultured we enjoy cuisine from different cultures usually Thai food that we get from other establishments well seasoned flavorful juicy delicious this place I mean when you walk in I see no one that is from Thailand but okay we get home we take out the food it smells good but that could just be cuz we're hungry the food has no flavor very bland I mean all of it is just okay I've never we've never and we had a family that was visiting and it was just not great but we had wine and that was excellent it made everything better but would never recommend this place I wish I could give zero stars.... Terrible terrible it was empty inside except 2 people I mean needs to be closed

Diner Review №128

Excellent food! Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Diner Review №129

This used to be the family go to. Recently the portions are much smaller and the prices have increased significantly. I don’t understand why white rice is additional purchase for meals. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Diner Review №136

We have been ordering from Seeda Thai for the past 13 years. Our recent order for our New Year's eve dinner was totally unacceptable. I ordered the #115 dish. Not only did the chef forgot the main ingredient which is ginger, but the portion was 20% smaller. When I called the restaurant to complain, the woman who answered the phone not only she didn't identify herself, but did not offer to give us a credit for an incomplete dish!!! That is NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!!
Please taste the dish before you get home if you are doing take out.
I hope the restaurant manager reads this review. It was order 71 and decides to refund my dinner

Diner Review №155

Ordered a shrimp pad Thai. They are doing take out only. Fast chef. The food was tasty. The said estimated time was 20 minutes but when I showed up in 10 it was already ready.

Diner Review №162

Great quality food 99% of the time and Kathy is amazing. She has been working there for years. The owner lady is a bit cold most of the time but it hasn't stopped me from ordering lunch specials month after month. The chicken steamed dumplings are amazing!

Diner Review №163

Diner Review №164

Good quality Thai food. Tried dining in a long time ago and take out recently. Both times the food and service was really good.

Diner Review №165

Expensive and 20 card limit but overall very good choice, good food friendly staff.

Diner Review №166

This Place is very good for a change in cuisine. The atmosphere is so clam and peaceful. The food is well prepared and so flavorful. Spices seasoning and freshness is definitely what you will get here. The server was polite ,clean, and attentive. Now to the best Part Desert OMG! A MUST try, STICKY RICE and MANGO!!!!!!!!!!!! Exquisite.

Diner Review №169

Diner Review №170

Really nice restaurant. No complaints here. Every visit was always pleasant and satisfactory.

Diner Review №171

Just discovered Seeda Thai this weekend. My boyfriend and I loved our takeout dishes that we picked up on Saturday so much that we ordered delivery again the very next day. Officially the best Thai I've had in Nassau. So fresh and flavorful. This place is the real deal.

When I picked up our food at the restaurant I was very impressed at how safe and clean the space was. There was sanitizer everywhere. The staff were wearing masks and one had a face-sheild on. This place is definitely on my list for indoor dining when it's safe again.

Diner Review №172

This is my favorite place for thai cuisine and it has not disappointed me, the fish is always on point.

Diner Review №173

Great portions. Love the spice

Diner Review №174

Overpriced and the wings were breaded and nasty. Didn’t provide sauces or options. Good portion size though but totally not worth it.

Diner Review №175

Wonderful Pad Thai and friendly service

Diner Review №176

Great food & excellent customer service! I HIGHLY recommend!

Diner Review №177

Authentic Thai food with amazing service!

Diner Review №178

The food was okay. I wouldn't say the BEST. But it's decent. I had to do take out due to covid and no indoor dining. But the customer service was sweet.

Diner Review №180

Diner Review №181

Diner Review №184

Diner Review №185

Diner Review №186

I enjoyed the food here. I had a chicken curry in green sauce. It was nice and spicy. I had some beef on a stick with some kind of dipping sauce that was tasty. The atmosphere is quaint and the service was good.

Diner Review №187

Holy smack , this place is awesomely delicious. Food here is like WOW.
They can alter the spiciness to your liking, myself being from southern Thailand , i like it HOT. Will be returning again and again

Diner Review №188

Delicious!
The food and service were both great!

The vegetarian menu (from what I understand) is actually all vegan, so if you're vegan, you don't have to worry.

This is a lovely Thai place.

Diner Review №189

Real Thai staffs, real Thai food. A bit expensive but delicious. Personally love going, once in a while.

Diner Review №200

Great customer service and the restaurant is very clean. However, i was not impressed by the food. My boyfriend and I ordered shrimp fried rice and spicy chicken fried rice with a mango lemonade. We were really disappointed especially because the reviews were really good. The riced didn’t appear to be fried just seemed like regular rice. There was hardly any seasoning in the food. Me and my boyfriend’s dish was nearly tasteless. The mango lemonade was very sour and I did not taste any mango. This was my first time coming to this Thai restaurant and it will be my last.
